Despite being told they would help me there, they did not. I had a contact inside the building who assisted with the Armenian on the form in the end. You receive your company opening certificate and other documents - FREE, takes 1-2h
Ignore the guys outside, you do not need a stamp but they aren't too pushy anyway
Banking
Ameriabank are the best, but are also the hardest to open an account with. For these guys you need: * Social Security Card (more on this later, you'll need this anyway) * Bank statements from current/former tax country * Contract with a client
If you want easier there are various banks who will do without those. All I will say is be prepared for a week of stress, going to the bank multiple times to get KYC, approved, approved again, account opened, card, etc.
Accounting
You should find an accountant, 30K per month for a simple situation.
If you're in IT, ask your accountant to apply for an IT certificate to get lower taxes (until EOY 2023 atm, maybe extended)
Social Security Card
For this you need a residence permit, for a residence permit you need a work permit (or for most of us, a work permit exemption). The numbers on the site will just ring... you need to actually visit them in person as a foreigner.

New console XBOX player here. it seems that perhaps Mutli Select functionality doesn't work - or I am not doing it as intended? I hold down RT and then select multiple units successfully (see multiple unit icons at bottom left turn white) but then...I am unable to actually give them orders to move etc. My attempts to give them any orders to move after bulk selection via Multi Select doesn't seem to work.

Can someone else with this on console via XBOX let me know specifically how Multi Select works? Also, any tips via controller on quickly/efficiently moving / managing groups of units effectiely? Seeking to kind of do a "CTRL + LEFT CLICK" type of bulk unit selection.

I'm reading a textbook on the mathematics of quantum mechanics, and it talks a lot about linear operators on Hilbert spaces. The Schrodinger equation is a linear differential equation. Also, in bra-ket notation , <ϕ is a linear map V -> C.
Is linearity part of the fundamental nature of the universe, or is it a result of the choice of mathematical formulation that physicists choose to use?

for the past few months i've been reading tons of cure interviews and articles for fun, and i found a lot of facts that I think some people here might really get a kick out of, so here are 10 of my favourite lesser-known cure facts that i find funny or interesting. i found a lot of these on the "pictures of you" archive fansite, which I've linked for anyone interested in taking a look for themselves.

1. robert took ballet lessons for four weeks before the why can't i be you music video, so the choreography could fit exactly with the rhythm.
2. when asked to explain the meaning of "the blood," robert said that it was about a portuguese drink called "the tears of christ" which he drank before writing it.
3. the cure were kicked off a tour where they were supporting billy idol's band generation x because lol tolhurst accidentally pissed on billy idol while trying to use a backstage toilet.
4. it's common knowledge that charlotte sometimes was based off a children's book of the same name, but the empty world was also inspired by the same book. the phrase "stiff as toys and tall as men" is taken directly from the book. (totally recommend giving the book a read btw, you can find it for free as a pdf online!)
5. once, while extremely drunk, robert bet a friend that he could go around the outside of a hotel by jumping from balcony to balcony. the whole thing took him about an hour.
6. simon was in two other bands outside of the cure. he was in a band called lockjaw before the cure, and when he left after the pornography tour he joined another group called fool's dance.
7. during a 1992 press conference for the wish tour, robert was asked why the words "cats" and "christmas" seem to be reoccurring themes in his songwriting. he answered "it's because i LIKE cats!" and he explained that he felt christmas was an excuse for people to be friendly, and that he thought it was also one of those things that are never as good as you remember it used to be.
8. robert once played othello in a school play.
9. simon likes to play video games, and in a list of 39 things he can't live without, he put "playstation" and "silent hill" among other things.
10. during the kissing tour (1987), they had a six-minute film (known as Eyemou/Eyemouth) that played as an opener video to their concerts. the film features closeups of robert's eyes and mouth as he recites an ancient tea ceremony "in five different voices." the film also features the band playing "unlikely instruments" with boris on trumpet, lol on guitar, robert on drums, and simon sucking an orange! u don't think the original film itself is available to view anywhere, but luckily there's a recording of the film being shown live uploaded on youtube!
