I'm looking for an adv. literate roleplay involving my favorite trope: enemies to lovers! I just love characters who both loathe and reluctantly admire each other. I want them to be abrasive and even terrible to each other in the beginning and fall in love and ultimately get a bit of some softness as the roleplay progresses. I don't want your sweet, cinnamon roll romance. Give me a female character who is trying to decide if she wants to kiss or kill my character. No cutesy, weak women characters. Scheming femme fatales are one of my favorite types of women.
I also really love age and class differences associated with our characters. I'm a sucker for an older woman characters who drink expensive bourbon cocktail parties and having to deal with a rather inexperienced and impulsive street kid for example.

Truthfully I dont know what to think I believe im truly paranoid an over bearing fear that everyone around me is two faced so I hide who I am behind a mask every word spoken some how being a risk of every relationship ive come to know some how ive grown to fear every word that comes from my mouth as if ill be left alone in the dark once more. Ive lost all who I've loved twice and dont wont survive the third im not even 21 yet and yet how is it that I've watched as ive lost two families ive cared so much for Im now part of my fiance's family I have my own life and yet i feel as if even my past wishes to watch as i stumble over my words trying to hide my anxietys as if i will be cast out of my new life, I know that most of my fears are unwarranted but yet I cant stop thinking even now what if they are talking behind my back planning on betraying my love and trust. Am I a fool for believing these fears to be correct?
I just want to be with my friends and split families with out feeling like I will become nothing more than a burden and then just a memory that will fade as soon as Im pushed away to rot in isolation

I quickly looked through and the last thread discussing this was posted many months ago. Now that the show is over it’d be fun to discuss the biggest themes throughout the show.
The big one that I discovered recently being Kendall and water. My favorite take so far is water mainly representing the business/his father to Kendall. When he wrecks the car and the waiter dies in season one, he is soaked in water which ultimately leads him back to being under his fathers thumb. When he is in the pool and almost drowns, he is drowning in his failures to beat/fight his father and the business. When he floats at the beach, he is floating in ecstasy in doing so well in the business after Living Plus. When he is “anointed” king by the sibs, he is above the water almost commanding it. And in the end he is just watching the water completely separated by it being ousted completely from the company while being watched over by the remnants of his father (Colin).
With food there is a whole going on throughout the show. A lot of it seems to show the higher looking down upon food and people who eat. I.e. jokes at buffets, Greg always being hungry (lower class). Greg and Tom seem to be the main ones ok with eating, and they come from lower class. Also Stewy always seems to be around good but not sure what that means. Food is also weaponized (Boar on the Floor).
So what are you favorite symbolism, themes, and motifs tied to characters throughout the series?

I'm currently a junior in high school (11th grade), and wish to get an idea of what to do after next year. To be honest I'm frankly quite bad at mathematics, have poor work ethic at home, lazy outside of school, and lack motivation to continue doing stuff, but I acknowledge that I'll most likely need to learn and improve on myself (addressed a little later on).
I wanna know what majors are worth taking or looking into (or some insight on those listed below). I'm no good at artistic stuff, and am not a very creative person (I prefer structure). I am taking an internship this year around being an appointment setter, to help me get used to talking and understanding people as I currently kind of suck with communication.
I am no good at music.
I think I am good at English and literature but I'm not sure. Writing is a passion of mine, but not sure if it's a talent. I love reading as well.
I'm pretty much green in everything as I've never really had the chance to do much. I like science, biology and marine biology specifically, but I'm not sure if I am capable of going into that field.
I'm in a Technology and Business magnet, but admittedly it is quite poor and I haven't learned much about businesses. I have no issue with a business major, though I lack experience in any of it.
I do like using computers, and did temporarily take an intro to engineering course that I kind of enjoyed, but I (unfortunately) had to take a temporary break from school for government stuff. Never got to go back to the class.
I can't think of anything else to outline, I only ask that no one lectures me on this and that. I just want to know some majors worth looking into, they don't have to be super high paying but I do want to live a comfortable and happy life.
Minor heads up, I've been effectively stunted in math.. Or it's more accurate to say I've never been taught it properly and been forced to actively learn rather than being outright 'bad' at it. 'Perk' of the USA education system. I do have all my math credits though.
Don't be concerned about just throwing me in the deep end with a major, it'd probably be good for me to try something legitimately challenging. If you're going to comment I'd also like for you to reply since I'm going to read everything.

It was a late night for the ships but this was a special occasion! It was Cole’s birthday! Cole was old enough to run his own kingdom and his palace was nearly complete! It was perfect time celebrate on the sea since Cole was fascinated by myth of King Triton, a king merman ruled over a kingdom full of merpeople. Yet on the boat, the night was just getting started as people began to pull out the alcohol and the gifts that was given out of appreciation of being one of the best prince. Cole was sterling the ship as they were more to sea. “Alright crew! You may set off the fireworks and let the party begin!” He yelled to them as the crew began to set off fireworks in the sky, letting the sky light up in bright colors. Which soon began to drink and dance to the music was provided by Cole. He laughed as he danced around like a fool along with some of his closes members who have worked with for ages now. Yet what bother him was the lack of being high alert. Partying is one thing but being safe should be above that! If one thing slips, all could be doom for this royal ship! Little did he know, a young mermaids was watching him on his ship, out of sight and easy to slip away if caught.

So I recently graduated college, and I do not have a job lined up as of right now. I have two options that I would be ok with. The first option would be me going to law school. I had always wanted to go to law school and thought it would be a good idea. The downside to this is that because of my college major (CS), my GPA is in the low 3s. I'd enjoy being a lawyer, and reading and writing are typically my strong suits. The other option is to pursue a job as a software engineer. I had an internship at a very well-known tech company during college, however I did not get a return offer due to me not finishing my project fast enough. Also, coding is very difficult for me as it does not come easily to me which leads to a lot of burnout and frustration. During college I would see others put in similar work hours with CS as me and they seemed to understand the content more. This is what leads me to believe that programming isn't for me. The idea to go to law school came up recently. I had wanted to go into law since I was very young, but the money and lack of resources made that seem impossible. Now, I am in a better situation to where that could be a possibility. My question would be, should I continue to program and get a job in the SWE field, or should I go to law school?

33 Caucasian female. I have been disabled my entire life with a physical disability (not something that impacts my life expectancy or increases risk of cancer) and have severe medical trauma (diagnosed with PTSD) that has not been responsive to medication or years of different therapeutic attempts. This makes receiving conflicting medical information extra distressing.
At 25, I had a completely non sedated colonoscopy. At the time I was having rectal bleeding and extreme stomach pain. I had to beg for months to be referred to a gastroenterologist. He immediately noted that I have hemorrhoids. This may be partially due to the fact that the my nerves from T7 down don’t work particularly well so some bodily functions are more difficult.
At the time, I thought we had a family history of colon cancer. I have since learned that my grandfather actually had advanced lymphoma due to extensive and unprotected exposure to pesticides but my dad is pretty awful at understanding medical information and went years saying colon cancer.
Colonoscopy was clear except for one small “serrated sessile polyp” which was removed and biopsied and proved to be non cancerous.
We eventually determined that the pain was coming from NSAID use for my severe disability related pain and cleared up entirely a month after stoping NSAIDS.
The gastroenterologist said I would need follow up colonoscopies every 5 years for the rest of my life. He refuses to actually spend long enough in an appointment to discuss anything. I timed him and got 3 minutes last time and was only allowed to say 2 sentences. He was my only option when I had Medicaid. His plus is the colonoscopy was not painful even though I had no meds. He would prefer me sedated though.
I have better insurance now and sought out a different provider. She looked at the case and said it would be a good idea to have one follow up colonoscopy within 10 years of the initial one but if that one was clear, I could just do a regular every 10 year screening schedule. She was very nice and actually listened to me. She is not comfortable doing an scope without sedation though. I would only be the 2nd person she has done without sedation and her first time didn’t go well.
My primary isn’t sure what makes sense.
The only reason I got a colonoscopy in the first place was because I was so scared thinking I might have a colon cancer given the supposed and now disproved family history and begged for months to be seen (different primary). If I have a colonoscopy, I’ve been asked to go off my pain medication for 2 weeks which will severely negatively impact my mobility, ability to care for myself, and make me unable to continue with my other commitments. My PTSD is very severe and has gotten a lot worse since my colonoscopy. I have massive panic attacks just with a saline IV and a paradoxical reaction to most quick acting anxiety meds. I can not do this if I have to be sedated as sedation is a major PTSD trigger.
Realistically, a colonoscopy is going to wreck several months of my life between the flare up in PTSD symptoms before and after and needing to taper off and then back on to the level of pain medication that allows me to be a semi functional human being. I will have to resign from role in an organization that I find very meaningful and my partner will likely need to take an extended absence from work to take care of me as I won’t be able to use my adaptive equipment without pain medication.
If we are going to go through this, I would like to know it’s justified. I especially do not want to sign up for these exams every 5 years if it’s not needed. I live in an area known for the relatively poor medical care and typically travel for specialists related to my underlying condition. The GIs I’ve seen are local. I have insurance now that allows me to see specialists across the country with no referral so I could try someone in one of the bigger cities a few hours from me or do a virtual visit with anyone. Compared to all of my other needs, this seems silly to track down a 3rd opinion on but I am very distressed at not having a clear idea of what is needed and the fact that neither of these doctors completely understand just how severe my medical trauma is and may not be prepared to handle it. I also don’t want to be an idiot who ends up with advanced colon cancer. I have had some unnecessary and poorly done procedures in the past that left me with long term physical damage so I am just not a fan of any medical procedures.
Any thoughts on how I can approach this in a way that allows me to get accurate information and does the least harm to my life?

Hi all. After having spent the past 2 years tinkering and buying gear to try to have a mobile setup for finger drumming with Ableton... here we are. So now I have my Push 2 setup, which is great. But for portability I just take my SP404 and a good battery bank.
But now with Push 3 can I have it all in one box? My questions are these though.... what is latency like on the built in audio interface? How does it handle live effects on vocals or guitars when plugged in? I stick with the SP because I don't want to also carry a laptop and an audio interface around. But for actual work without an interface or even without the laptop, how does the processing hold up latency wise?

In the S9 finale, Eddie became the new Avatar of the Negative Speed Force and warned Barry they “wouldn’t always see eye to eye” (whatever the heck that means). This season would start during an incident where Barry and Eddie DO see eye to eye - enough so for the disembodied Negative Speed Force voice inside Eddie’s head to get pissed off. Seeing Eddie as a hindrance to its aims of spreading until it is all that there is, it forsakes Eddie as it’s Avatar and plops him back on Earth Prime - but it allows him to keep his Cobalt Blue powers. Eddie remains on Earth Prime and serves as a reluctant occasional ally to the Flash and his team throughout the season. After doing that, the NSF perceives a grieving, angry young man in the year 2054. He has just lost his parents and younger siblings to Bart ROYALLY fucking up while on patrol as Impulse, and he is chosen by the NSF as its new Avatar. With his newfound power, he becomes Inertia, the reverse Impulse, and begins his mission to punish Bart. He eventually follows Bart and Nora to the present day, roping Barry into the conflict.
In the episode where Flash and Inertia meet for the first time, Barry is aiding Chief Singh and Captain Kramer in searching for a supply of missing meta-cuffs, when Bart and Nora arrive on the scene to ask for help with a new evil speedster. During the investigation, Barry calls his team (yes, this includes the Z-listers!) to a warehouse where he thinks the cuffs may have been taken. Seeing that the entire team is distracted, Inertia dashes in and reveals he stole the cuffs by cuffing every last member of the team. He has split and modified the cuffs into more like arm bracelets, so that Team Flash would still be able to fight even though they can’t access their powers. Unlike most of the rest of Team Flash, Inertia has formal martial arts training. Laughing all the while, Inertia puts on one of the bracelets and uses that training to absolutely WRECK Team Flash. In addition to breaking everyone’s arms and legs, he gives Cecile a concussion, temporarily blinds Allegra, and shatters Barry, Bart and Nora’s backs. Only Mark gives Inertia any trouble due to his own established fighting skill, but after a quick brawl Inertia manages to stab Mark through the gut. Inertia then removes everyone’s meta-dampening bracelets, dumps Cecile, Allegra and Mark at the hospital where they will remain for the rest of the season, leaves the other speedsters back at STAR Labs, and whisks Chester off to his hideout for tech support. He leaves Caitlin alone so she can treat the speedsters.
With the knowledge that he is up against the Flash, the Fastest Man Alive himself, as well as the belief that his “de-power and beat up” trick won’t work twice, Inertia decides to start stealing technology to upgrade his suit and give himself a chance against Barry. As he carries out this mission and generally makes life annoying for Barry and friends, the disembodied voice that bothered Eddie begins to bother Inertia, before eventually manifesting itself as Matt Letscher's Eobard (similar to the regular Speed Force manifesting itself as Barry's mom). Notably among this show's villains, Inertia has a much more prominent moral code - which he cites as his reasoning for letting the Z-listers live. He has some lines he does not want to cross, and Negative Speed Force Eobard regularly attempts to manipulate Inertia, taking advantage of his negative emotions to try and make him cross those lines. Inertia resists for some time, until it results in his powers getting weaker. After narrowly eluding capture in his weakened state one day, he is told he will never achieve his goal and is only exuding weakness by not doing what needs to be done - resulting in him finally giving in to the NSF's manipulation. Inertia lets his anger at Impulse consume him, and, aware that Bart is hiding behind Barry to escape his wrath, agrees to commit more heinous actions in order to get Barry out of the way.
By now he has reached a stage where Bart remaining unscathed only makes him angrier, and his crimes gradually become worse and worse. As his final battle with the Flash and his allies begins, about 2 episodes before the finale, Inertia's hate reaches a point where it threatens to consume him. At the tail-end of the fight, as Inertia charges himself up to kill a battered and bloody Impulse, the NSF feeds off that hate, and Inertia writhes in pain as his suit begins to charge up with red lightning. Inertia manages to phase out of his suit before he can be badly hurt, but he loses his power in the process. His suit suddenly explodes in a burst of lightning, machinery and debris, and in its place stands a revived Eobard Thawne! For kicks, Eobard beats Barry up a bit more. He then tells Barry and his team to heal their wounds and prepare for one final battle.
Without the Negative Speed Force powering him, Inertia’s rage and hate has faded, and his conscience kicks in, filling him with regret and shame. Inertia, now a regular human, decides to try and make peace with Barry, Bart and the others, and face punishment. By this point, Barry has gathered all the remaining living speedsters on Earth Prime to face Thawne and finish him for good, and, aware of how the Negative Speed Force manipulated him, invites Inertia to join them. Inertia agrees, and using speed-sharing, he has his powers briefly restored and he fights alongside the other speedsters to bring Thawne down. Towards the end of the fight, Thawne retreats into the Negative Speed Force, with all the speedsters in hot pursuit. As Barry and Eddie manage to make it in with Thawne, Inertia keels over, now unable to survive the high speeds a speedster is known for. Surrounded and comforted by the remaining speedsters, he dies, believing his fate to be a just punishment for his cruel actions.
As Barry and Eddie confront Thawne once more, a back-to-basics speedster chase sequence ensues. It culminates in a vicious brawl, which ends in a complete standoff with no one side able to defeat the other. Thawne taunts Barry throughout the conflict, laughing about the impact he has had on Barry’s life, and he swears he will continue to have a stronghold no matter how hard Barry tries to move forward. As he says this, Barry realizes how right Thawne is - their mutual hatred of each other has kept them from moving forward, keeping them in perpetual conflict with one another, over and over. Thawne’s demise is pulled directly from Flash #762 by Joshua Williamson - Barry forgives Thawne - who dissipates, screaming, as his history is reset - and we get a scene of Thawne in the rewritten future at the Flash museum, musing about the Reverse Flash and his hatred of the Flash. After that, we cut back to Barry and Eddie in the Negative Speed Force, with Eddie agreeing to stay behind and attempt to retake his place as the Avatar. Barry returns to Earth Prime and joins the other speedsters in mourning Inertia. The season ends as we get another monologue from Barry interspersed with several finale-esque scenes, including a Barry running shot, Iris with baby Nora, adult Nora and Bart back in 2054 burying Inertia, and more.

I'm in dire need of your expertise and advice. I recently introduced a new rabbit to my little bunny family, hoping they would all become fast friends and create a harmonious bunny kingdom. However, things didn't quite go as planned. As soon as the new rabbit tried to meet the existing ones, they started fighting! A little background: I have two rabbits, let's call them Coco and Mocha, who have been living together for quite some time. They have a great bond and seem to enjoy each other's company. In an attempt to expand our furry family, I brought home a new rabbit, Latte, with hopes of building a loving rabbit community.
Upon introducing Latte to Coco and Mocha, I carefully followed the recommended steps for introducing rabbits to ensure a smooth transition. However, as soon as Latte approached Coco and Mocha, they displayed aggressive behavior towards each other. There was fur flying, loud thumps, and it quickly escalated into a full-blown fight.

I'm flying to Sardinia for 3-4 days and landing at Olbia. Im most interested in just exploring beautiful beaches and coastal landscape, hiking the coast a bit and just lazing out on a not too packed natural beach.
I know downtown Olbia itself is not the best place to book a room, but what other little towns/resorts around it are best for this? Unfortunately this time i'm not gonna drive a car (license needs renewing) so it needs to be within an hour by train/bus of Olbia.
So what places are most beautiful, wild and and yet reachable in your opinion? Huge thanks for any tips!

Need help with choosing some CCU paths. Don't worry about the in between steps as I've alreadysorted those out. I have: LTI fury, 6mo nomad game pack, and LTI referral locked merlin. My original plan for final ships was C1, Gladius, and at the last minute I added a C2. I already have all my CCUs lined up but I don't know which of my current base ships to CCU into which final ship.
So my questions: 1. Is it even worth grabbing a C1 now that I have the Hercules? 2. Are LTI and 10 year insurance practically speaking similar enough to disregard the difference? How do these compare for you? 3. Which base packages should I upgrade to which final ships? (Keeping in mind I may no longer get a C1, though I don't know what I'd use that credit on instead now)

I am on my 2nd year of college and this summer I want to do some internships in backend and I very much like Go. Not a big fan of JS and don't wanna learn TS. Python and Go are my comfort langs. I think I will probably finish Go and then build some projects around it and start applying to internships for backend role. This is what I thought and working towards constantly.
