Looking to pick this one up since it looks like it hasn't been beaten too hard. Is $14k reasonable for a 159k mile manual?
Appreciate any help & insight. I don't plan to race or abuse this car. Just need a reliable daily that costs less to maintain than my Audi A3

2023.05.29 23:33 DisgustingLobsterCok V90 Cross country unavailable EVERYWHERE?

I'm looking for a 2017-2022 V90 Cross country T5/T6 however they're super hard to find. I've looked at all the Volvo lots near me. I've checked FB marketplace, offerup, and even local craigslist. I'm in Seattle so it's not like we don't have luxury cars here. Why am I having so much trouble finding a vehicle that's relatively new?
Related: I had this issue when trying to find an XC70 2016 T5 so I gave up on attempting to even find one.

I’m coming over from the Jeep wrangler world due to growing family (2kids) and I have always really liked the 1st gen tundras. I know these are known to last but what lifespan can I realistically expect out of these? Here is a clean example I’m considering in my area with 266k miles

2023.05.23 00:17 CelestialOsmosis Best way to sell collection?

Hey all, this is probably going to sound strange for a first post here… I would appreciate some advice on what the best way to part ways with my Apple collection might be. I’m recently engaged, and we’re in the middle of moving… which has led me to realize that I won’t really have the time or space to tinker with these computers as a hobby anymore and I’d rather go the virtualization route.
Most of what I have are 68k and PPC PowerBooks. I also have a Mac IIci and an Apple /// (which was my first restoration project).
I’m not particularly keen on selling on eBay, I’ve done it a few times and the seller fees plus payment holds weren’t appealing to me.
I’m not sure if anybody has had luck with Craigslist, posting classifieds on 68kmla, or a swap list. Maybe there’s an interest group in the Seattle area?
Any and all tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you or someone you know looking to rent out their house?

TL; DR: I'm looking to rent a house for under $1,500 a month starting at the end of June. Are you or someone you know looking to rent out your property?
I'm looking to move at the end of June. I've lived in a shitty Seattle studio for the past three years and I'm ready to upgrade to a house proper, especially as most properties I've seen charge as much in rent as the aforementioned studio does. I'm already looking on all the property rental sites, Craigslist, etc. but I figured I'd cast a net into the murky waters of Reddit in case anyone can toss me a house-fish. I'm posting this in several of the subreddits devoted to various Washington communities as, honestly, I'm not picky about where I move to, so long as it's not Seattle or Tacoma.
For some background information, I work full time at Safeway (which means a high likelihood of being able to transfer to a nearby store) and make about $3,200 a month after taxes. I have no evictions, felonies, or late rent payments. I've never had a credit card, so I either have no credit score or a perfect credit score, and I have three years' of excellent rental history. I'm self-sufficient, low-maintenance, and quiet. I'm open to work-for-rent arrangements -- landscaping, odd jobs, whatever.
I'm looking for a property under $1,500 a month, with washer and dryer hookups, no roommates, and ideally some space for a garden. Otherwise I'm not picky. It could be a concrete box with exposed wiring that was the site of several violent murders and I'd be cool with it so long as the blood stains aren't too visible.
EDIT: I do not own a car so somewhere close to bus lines is preferred.
Reply or PM me with anything you've got. Thanks, kids.

2023.05.16 00:54 MoxyCrimefightr Advice on Housing

Hey y’all! So I’m starting at UW in the fall for my masters and my wife and I are looking for a place to live. We’re hoping to get either a 1/2 Br place. What is a normal amount to pay? Where are the best places to look? Also we’re planning on moving to Seattle in early September before school starts, so how far in advance can we get a place? I’ve already started lightly browsing Craigslist and stuff, but I’m not sure if places are already taking contracts for September this far in advance. Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

2023.05.15 22:47 littleredryanhood where can I sell used wheelchair and hospital bed

My Mother in Law passed away recently and we now have her wheelchair and hospital bed in our garage. We had planned on donating them but her estate attorney said we need to make a good faith effort to sell them since her estate is insolvent.
I've listed them on craigslist but was wondering if there is somewhere in the Seattle area that buys used medical equipment.
Thanks for any suggestions and keep cool out there.
