Hello my dears! My name is Johanna, and I welcome you to the Johanna Draconis - The Deconstruction Of C-PTSD podcast.
In this episode we will talk about something we touched upon several times in this podcast - bad days. A rather uncomfortable topic and something everyone of us would rather avoid, but sadly is a significant part in your healing journey.
It is something we need to be open and honest about, especially with ourselves. So let us talk about it.
Prelude [0:36]
There are just these days when you wake up and you know… today no big strikes will be done. Sometimes even making it to the evening can be an achievement to be proud about. Not that it will feel like it, but it is.
There are of course also the bad phases or worst days, where you are at your lowest. The bad days are worse in some regard, because everything is going well and then the bad day apparently comes out of nowhere.
It is like the ground under your feet is suddenly gone and you just fall. And you are also left to wonder if it is just a bad day or the start of a bad episode.
It is frightening, unsettling and demotivating, which is why we talk today about 5 points to help you hopefully to better deal with bad days.
1. Don’t fight the bad day [1:33]
First, don’t fight the bad day. As much and as tempting it is to try to turn this day into a positive and not into a complete failure - it is sadly wasted energy - like swimming against the stream. And you NEED that energy.
When you have limited energy, like when you are recovering or on your healing journey, it is crucial to have good energy management. That means knowing when to sit it out and when to push. When to use defense and when to use offense.
And bad days mean is is high time to dig in deep and try to minimize the damage as much as possible. It sucks, but sometimes there is no choice.
2. Don’t try to catch up [2:22]
Second, don’t try to catch up. This usually applies to the next day, but also sometimes for the time after. Once again it is tempting to try to catch up the lost time and all the work that was piling up, but doing so will just exhaust you and likely make you crash.
I went through that several times myself. It is not worth it, as much as it pains you to see the piles just getting bigger and bigger. But sadly it isn’t like just because you feel better again that you have loads of energy reserves suddenly appear out of nowhere.
If you can - add a bit to your daily stuff, but be very careful as pacing is really important.
3. Going good isn’t the norm [3:12]
Third, going good isn’t the norm. This is something we like to assume, that the good times are the standard and the rest are the off times. That makes it so hard to spot the good times while you are in them - you expect them to keep going.
But things going good isn’t the norm. They are the unusual exception. Neither is everything going wrong. Normal is - as usually - a mix of good and bad and the mix varies daily. Though I would like to argue that the good things usually are more.
We just sadly have the tendency to focus on the bad things… and rarely do the good things overshadow everything.
4. Nothing you can do about them [3:57]
Fourth, there is nothing you can do about them. Which makes them so horrible. There is a good reason why being surrendered to fate causes depression or at least a depressive mood. Which is not what I am meaning or suggesting - luckily.
But that you have to sit them out. Like a rainy day. Just more frustrating. The best, in my experience, is just to let go and call it a dead day, where nothing happens. And try to get as much positive energy as you can.
Or at least minimize the negative effects. Min maxing is needed. Minimal effort, maximal results. Routine and experience helps as usual. I always recommend to try around and see what works for you best. Everyone is different.
5. It will pass [4:51]
And last, but most definitely not least: It will pass. That is not the most comforting thought but it helped me through my PTSD journeys. Everything passes. The good and the bad. It is a law of nature. Everything passes - nothing remains the same.
And while that doesn’t make your heart full of hope - it is a good lifeline. I also think it is important to remember that you are getting there - how fast is not really important. Only getting there. As much as we prefer the faster the better.
On the other hand - we never reach our goal as fast as we want. We are usually kind of impatient… so I recommend pacing yourself and trying to make most of the trip. No matter how bad the trip is - it can still be made better.
Not necessarily good, but better.
Outro [5:58]
That was it for todays episode, I hope you found it helpful. Hope you are safe and well. And as always, if you have any questions or feedback and the like, please let me know at [

2023.03.21 21:11 yeroc_sema 1nDone Snowflake IM - The progress till now (ep1-5 spoilers)
Let's try this again without everyone thinking I'm Idyl because of my poorly made post... I meant to post this when I had some notable progress on the account, which I now have, but I also have a terrible problem with procrastinating so I can play runescape. You probably wouldn’t understand…
This post and future posts are meant for those more interested in immediate updates about progress rather than watching a progress series. But if you would rather watch the episodes the playlist
here.
THE RULES
Here is the concept. Treat gilenor as you would real life. Any action not repeatable in the real world is not repeatable in game. Killing a specific creature, picking an item up off the ground, mining a rock, chopping down a tree, hunting a creature, collecting some quest items, etc. etc.
For simplicity's sake, and my own sanity, actions like shearing a sheep or cutting down jungle brush, actions that would be repeatable after a relatively short time irl will also be treated as one time resources. I have also applied this logic to the inventory of shops, deciding that I may only buy up to the base inventory of any given item in any particular shop. (Ie 3 buckets in a shop I can only ever buy 3 buckets from that shop)
THE GOALS
- Complete every possible quest that does not remove a more difficult quest from the available options. (If completing ratcatchers would for some reason stop me from completing shilo village or something obviously harder and more important it will be skipped)
- Complete a grandmaster quest. No, I do not know if this is possible with my restrictions.
- Utilize every resource Gilenor has to offer, no tree unchopped, no rock unmined, no creature unkilled, no item not picked up. Basically, piss off the world, my character is a real stand-up guy.
TRACKING PROGRESS
- The tracking of everything previously mentioned will be through the use of tile tags. Depleted resources or picked up items will be marked with a plain tile tag. Shop inventories will be logged with labeled tile tags showing x/max inventory item bought.
- - Creature kills/hunts will be marked in the same manner, using a labeled tile tag to mark how many creatures killed in a particular spawn grouping. All of these will be doubly logged through screenshots, google docs, and spreadsheets so if my tile tags are lost my account isn’t over.
- Chunk maps will also be used to visualize the overall progress of the account, using different chunk maps to show chunks that have completely depleted resources, no creatures left to kill, areas with no more item spawns, and chunks that have had all available content utilized.
A few notable things:
- I am an ironman, not a uim, I have access to banks
- I am not area locked, I have free range of gilenor. I am simply using chunks to log progress.
- If an npc explicitly states that they have multiple/infinite of an item/service (ardougne cloak for example) I am able to reclaim that item if lost or continually utilize that resource.
My early progress in the first few days of the account. These will be spoilers for episodes 1-5 of my 1nDone series, so if you don’t want to ruin an episode you should not go further.
EPISODE 1 SPOILERS
- I began by killing (12xp wasted in atk, the rest in str) an imp, some rats, some spiders, and a woman in lumbridge before pickpocketing to get to level ten theiving or so. No particular reason for this, I was kind of just feeling out my system and getting used to the unusual gameplay.
- I then began clearing the first chunk as much as possible. I’m not planning on clearing runescape chunk by chunk, but I do want to do this here to get a better understanding of the process in its entirety.
- I did restless ghost, forgot the skeleton in mage tower attacks you and I had to run away, wasting the xp it provides since I cannot ever pick that skull up again from the alter.
- Next I ran up to varrock to max out the available attack xp training on combat dummies and got up to level 8 attack with only 12 of that xp wasted since I forgot to switch to strength when I first started killing things. EPISODE 2 SPOILERS
- On my way back I stopped to film an intro bit for my series, then running back to lumbridge dc’d next to the prison and died to a guard, losing my hardcore status 📷
- I then began chopping down every regular tree in the Lumbridge chunk.
- First beginner clue scroll out of a nest and Im able to complete it right away for leather vambraces and an earth staff.
- I then chopped down the rest of the trees in the chunk and just before completion got lvl 10 woodcutting, which surprised me. It really doesn’t seem like there are that many trees in this chunk at first glance.
- I decided to chop into the chunk west of lumbridge as well so I could get my wc high enough to chop oaks so I could clear those out of the lumbridge chunk as well and get a feel for how to handle multiple log trees since I will be banking all logs I chop for almost the entirety of the account. When I finally got to a tree that gave me more than a full inventory i dropped logs and chopped until it was cut down, refreshed the dropped log pile, banked the inventory, and ran back and collected the dropped logs.
- I then picked up every loose item spawn and searched every crate and sack (theyre all empty in Lumbridge by the way).
- I then did cook’s assitant, marking the wheat and eggs required to complete the quest, but not marking the cow because as in irl you can milk a cow multiple times.
- While collecting those items I also started the sheep shearer quest. I sheared all of the sheep on fred’s pen which only turned out to be 16 sheep, 4 short of what fred asks for.
- I then went around to the different pockets of sheep in asgarnia to collect up their wool. Did you know that there are only 80 sheep in all of runescape, and a handful of those can’t even be sheared? In Asgarnia, besides Fred’s 16 sheep, there are 10 south of varrock, 3 west of Edgeville, and 7 at the Makeover Mage (but i forgot about them) and 2 unshearable sheep just west of Lumbridge castle. I sheared all available sheep, at least 6 out of those were not able to be sheared since they are models of the sheep that do not have excess wool.
- I then began my journey of woodcutting into further chunks. I wasn’t quite sure what to do so I thought maybe just focusing on cutting down all the trees from the salve to the member’s gate would be a good idea.
- Quickly in to this i got a clue scroll that required me to get level 10 fishing to catch a herring for charlie the tramp.
- I decided to cut down the regular trees around the mage training arena after training up to level 10 fishing at the spots south of the al kharid bank.
- I got level 30 woodcutting chopping the trees around varrock and then went back to lumbridge to chop a willow there first, helping to clear out the first chunk.
- I pickpocketed my way up to 1k gp then went back to varrock to buy a house. I kept on choppin and got a clue scroll that required us to get level 14 crafting to make a leather body for charlie.
EPISODE 3 SPOILERS
- I went to the HAM hideout to pickpocket ham members for the buttons to see how far along that and opals from them could get me through crafting.
- That didnt’ seem to be doing so well so I decided to do some easy quests that reward crafting xp. We got our first easy clue.
- On the way to complete it I went through ardougne and stole items from the first stall. For stealing from stalls, we only ever steal from it one time for each item on it that resembles what we can steal. I stole from the baker’s stall, which has 7 items on it, so when I had stolen from it 7 time I stopped and tagged the tiles it was placed on to denote that it was depleted.
- I got several clue scrolls from ham members I could not do due to crafting level requirements which I dropped. After about 4 or 5 of these I decided I would not be dropping anymore clue scrolls that were not completely impossible for me for one reason or another.
- I started both the great kourend quest and the corsair’s curse quest for clue scroll access but did not complete either quest.
- I then got a clue scroll that required me to get level 31 crafting to make an emerald necklace.
- I then did goblin diplomacy, using red and yellow dye from an infinite source located on some shelves in a house to the south of the farming guid in kourend as to not use up any permanent resources in the world.
- While I was in Kourend I sheared all of the sheep there as well, 12 at watsons house and 2 in hosidius, all shearable. On the way back to the mainland I stopped by the makeover mage and sheared the 7 that were there.
- I began killing the rams here as well just to clear them out of the world since they are not used for slayer. I took a trip over to ardougne to shear the 10 sheep that were there as well to collect all the currently available wool to use.
- After spinning al of the collected wool I was at level 6 with about half of the way to level 7 completed as well.
- I then started rag and bone man and then killed every ram in gilenor besides one I could not reach in lletya. I got the ram skull.
- I then did misthalin mystery quest. This got me up to level 10 crafting. I also cut down all the trees in the quest area.
- I killed a giant rat for the rat tail bone for rag and bone man.
- I then did dwarf cannon quest which needs no resources I did not already have. This got me up to level 13 crafting.
- I made a gold necklace and a few pieces of leather armor (made from leather from ham pickpocketing) to get to level 14 crafting, then made a leather body to finish off the beginner clue that started this crafting grind.
- I then went up to seers village and picked all of the flax. I picked the flax until it disappeared and then marked the tile where it was marking it as depleted. I got a total of 250 bowstrings from this and got up to level 22 crafting.
- I then did murder mystery quest which got me to level 24 crafting. I also discovered an infinite source of flour for my account. The barrel in the murder mystery house can be filled with a pot and the flavor text says that there is plenty more.
- I collected up every resource in the chunk and killed everything except for the level 64 wolves for obvious reasons.
- I then went and did druidic ritual, killing the bear north of falador before starting. The rest of the required meats were already banked from previous kills or buying from shops.
- I ran into issues killing the bear with magic so quickly went and did witch’s potion, killing all of the rats in rimmington and marking that with a tile.
- I finished druidic ritual and again picked up some various items, marking them as I did. I also gathered up the flax from the 3 plants in taverly, I got a total of 16 flax.
- Being close to port sarim I took the boat to lands end and collected 10 flax, depleting the plants there, I also picked the redberry bushes. As always, the depleted resources were marked with a ground tile.
- I ran up to the field in hosidius to collect up the flax there as well. I lost track of the number I got from that field but followed the usual process marking them.
- I then went to uzer in the desert to do the golem quest. I mined 4 clay at the mine where the phoenix is, marking the clay and marking a tile saying I had collected the feather.
- I picked a black mushroom in the uzer basement, marked it.
- While stealing the golem quest item from the museum I did the natural history quiz to get level 9 slayer and hunter.
- I finished the golem quest for level 25 crafting and level 28 thieving. I collected the gems from the demon throne.
- I chopped down the singular teak tree in the uzer ruin chunk (the newer teak trees weren’t in the game at the time of this recording) for 2 teak logs.
EPISODE 4 SPOILERS
- I did observatory quest, using the nearby super antiposion spawn (I should not have used it here, I realize now) and not killing any creatures along the way. I picked up every bone in the observatory basement and buried it. This got me no prayer levels, and my quest reward was 3 tuna and a sapphire, as well as getting me up to level 27 crafting.
- I went back down and killed the 4 rats in the observatory basement.
- I spun up my 240 flax collected which got me up to level 30 crafting.
- I then collected up all of the flax in and around the gnome stronghold which yielded me 360 flax. I spun this flax up which got me to level 33 crafting.
- I made an emerald necklace for the clue, bought some iron platelegs in al kharid, and an oak longbow in varrock, all for the clue.
- Upon realizing I couldnt wield the bow I decided to try for my first slayer task, and I got 19 scorpions which didn’t go well with my single digit range level, especially since my dumbass tried ranging with IM armor thinking it had a range boost 😅. So i decided to get level 5 range by killing every spider spawn on the surface of the world. This is an example of a creature i can kill with impunity, its not used for quests or slayer, and although killing all 105 spiders left (after the 7 i killed in lumbridge) will put me well over the xp for 5 ranged I still want to go ahead and kill them all now since there’s no point in saving them for anything and it will help my tracking process if I can mark off a larger subset like all surface spiders rather than 3/x spawn groupings. I did unfortunately kill the 22 spiders in the wilderness which could have been used for wildy slayer but that is only 44 slayer xp wasted. I will still probably come to regret this.
- In killing the spiders in the lovakite mine i died to the gas clouds and almost lost my clue, but I got back in time to reclaim it. I then immedia did the clue before going back to finish off the rest of the spiders.
- I then went back to finish my slayer task. I decided to kill the 9 scorpions at al kharid mine, the one south of al kharid, the 6 at ruins of uzer, and the final 3 at the zoo in ardougne for a perfect 19 with no overlaps into other spawn groupings.
EPISODE 5 SPOILERS (comes out tomorrow)
- This episode was quite concentrated, we really just finished chopping the trees in the free to play area. I posted here about it when I finished and reddit kindly let me know I had missed the trees around the karamja volcano and in the sewers of varrock, and I also missed the single tree in the varrock castle bear cage.
- My original goal was to cut the trees from the salve to the members gate, although i had planned to get the karamja f2p trees I just forgot. I did cut down all the trees in the digsite area and silvarea. I did not cut down any trees in lands end but tuat was intentional, i plan to get those with the rest of kourend later.
- I got a back to back birds nest which is a 0.0015% chance.
- I got level 20 fishing for a clue scroll.
- At 14.5ish combat I couldn’t get the last willows at draynor because the dark mages kept attacking me. I decided to kill all the cows in the east lumbridge cow pen and the faldor farm cow pens. I thought they couldnt be assigned for a slayer task. I’m still not entirely sure if they can be, actually.
- We got the last part of the beekeeper outfit and will now begin recieving flax from that random even, which is great because i really need banked crafting xp
- I finished off the final trees with 157k woodcutting xp, at level 54 woodcutting, with 2245 regular logs, 1792 oak logs, and 509 willow logs.
- I finished off the episode by chopping my first maple tree, the one just south of seers village bank, and recieved a single log.
That is the progress up until the current point of the videos, the final of which (ep5) comes out tomorrow. The next post will come out approximately one day prior to episode 6 and I will endeavor to keep this format and system with future episodes and progress posts. I have a newly created discord for helping me keep track of the progress, the kill lists the shop inventory lists, npc interactions, and the various chunk maps to plot my progress. Thanks for checking this out!

2023.03.21 21:09 sringray23 25 years of memories
What with Ash and Pikachu leaving the anime imminently, I thought it would be nice for people to share their memories of the past 25 years.
I was 7 years old when Pokemon landed on the shores of the UK. I remember a mate of mine, came up to our road (back when kids could and would all play outside) and he had a pile of Pokemon cards. It was the first time any of us had seen them, we had heard of them, but to actually see them was great and fascinating, we chased that poor boy up and down the road, trying to see and get them 🙄. Eventually that weekend I got a couple of base set packs and took them every where.
I watched season 1 and 2 of the anime on SMTV Live Saturday mornings. Great memories of being a kid without a care. I think I watched Johto Journeys on that channel but can't quite remember. I do remember Ant and Dec's Pokemon rap instead of the whose that Pokemon bit. 🤪
Fast forward a short while and I got Pokemon Gold on the gameboy colour and played it on long summer drives when going on holiday. I had Pokemon Blue but preferred Gold because of the Entei, took me, iirc, 3 play throughs to catch him.
Around 2004/5, I grew out of Pokemon and very rarely dipped into it over the years. Partly because a friend I used to trade cards with and play/watch Pokemon, moved away at the end of the summer holidays, I haven't seen him in 19 years, he was a good mate 😔.
When X&Y came out in 2013, my now wife, went on a mission to obtain every X&Y card over its 3 year span. An achievement she still brags about lol. She was mad for it and watched the episodes and played X on the 3ds. I slowly got back into it and then in 2016 when Pokemon GO came out, we played it hard and got proper back into it.
Our 3 children were born over the course of the next few years and now our eldest is Pokemon nuts, currently we are attempting to watch every single episode (not in season order) so far we have seen all of: BW, X&Y, Sun and Moon and Orange Isle. Currently we are on Johoto Journeys.
We collect the cards and play on Sword and Sheild together and play the toys too.
It's strange to think of how much Pokemon has been a part of my life, not in a grand way, but in small memorable parts that create fantastic memories with my kids. Even the years, I was not into Pokemon, I always knew who Ash and Pikachu were and would occasionally watch 10 minutes of an episode or read up about it in a magazine.
Getting back into it, has been a great joy, I'm sad that Ash and Pikachu are leaving, I'm hoping they return after the Paldea 3 year run and as much as I don't agree with the change, its a brave call and I see why they are doing it, in part, so kids can have and make their own memories.

2023.03.21 21:02 GeT_NiCE_ Pointless QB Speculation
I don't understand why everyone wants to know the answer to "Who did the Panthers trade up to get?" It's the wrong question... or the wrong perspective. Fitt said it pretty straightforwardly: "We have conviction about players at the top."
Trading up is obviously a huge move, but you don't have to know "this is our guy, let's go get him." The only thing you need to know for sure is that you believe your guy exists among the top contenders in the draft. That is, you have enough conviction about the top 2 or 3 or 4 guys that you know there is someone worth the first pick.
I would be willing to bet that among the Panthers' decision makers there are some strong opinions already, but they still have a TON of data to gather including interviews, tape, pro days, etc. and I highly doubt that there is a singular QB that has been favorited at this point. For us or the media to be reading into the detail of every single word spoken by Fitt, Frank, Tepp, etc. is pointless bc they still have a month before it's decision time, and if this off season taught us anything it is that this staff will consider ALL options thoroughly before making a move.
People will say "You don't move up to 1 without knowing who your guy is," but I think that is exactly backwards. If you know who your guy is, you might try to game the system and trade to the lowest possible pick that nets you the player you wanted. If you are still in the process of figuring out who it will be, you HAVE to go as high as possible to guarantee that when you figure out who your guy is, you will be able to get him.
Not to mention, the Texans and the Colts weren't going to trade down, and trading with Arizona to 3 would've left someone else that needed a QB open to take the Bears spot at 1 (it was clear that the Bears would trade since they don't need a QB). That would've left us with potentially our third favorite come draft day.
Anyway. The talking heads will talk, and we will continue to speculate, but I think ultimately we just have to do the thing: Trust the Process. Soon, the best rookie QB of 2023 will be OOU.
KEEP POUNDING!!

2023.03.21 20:58 Maquet_Ontos This Podcast is about to finish Era 1, starting Hero of Ages!
We're the Ontos Podcast and we're a Cosmere-dedicated podcast that just crossed 100 episodes! We finished Well of Ascension recently and have now started Hero of Ages! Our goal is to reread the entire Cosmere before the next Stormlight Archive book, and we're averaging about one book per month so far! We are spoiler-free podcast dedicated to onboarding new readers and discussing Cosmere theory, and generally nerding out about the Cosmere. We're both seasoned Cosmere readers recalling our impressions when we first read each book and spotting details we missed along the way. It has been so fun and we're excited to get this far!
We're available on
Spotify,
Apple Podcasts,
Amazon Music, and
Most other Podcast providers! Now that we're getting into Hero of Ages, we're getting into some real Cosmere-level details. Now our spoiler episodes get into more theory including what emotional Allomancy would mean for Radiants, what the nature of Atium Alloys may be, and how broken Allomancy is on a Cosmere level. We have been looking forward to going over Hero of Ages ever since we started this project because this is where new readers really get to peek at the Cosmere.
We hope you join us as we finish Era 1!

2023.03.21 20:56 istorm [Team P1.5] Chapter 3: Heavy On The Heart
When the words Weigh heavy on the heart I am lost And lead only by the stars Cage me like an animal A crown with gems and gold Eat me like a cannibal Chase the neon throne Breathe in, breathe out Let the human in Breathe in, breathe out And let it in https://i.imgur.com/6C2M2Aq.gifv December and January at a Glance
- December 14: Lots of Fish
- December 19: Last Day of Class
- December 21: Winter Solstice, Yule Festival, Adalin’s Birthday
- December 31: Oidhche Challainn (New Year’s Eve
- January 5: First Day Back
- January 17: Mission
- January 21: Ursula’s Birthday
With the mess of Muirfeur behind them, the students make the 9 day journey back to Cennaire, arriving on the night of Friday December 5th 436 PD.
As the other Houses come back from their eventful trips, and friends see one another again, the students at Cennaire have but two weeks of class left.
Housekeeping
The December 21st Homebase Week is an Activity Week only, as in there will be no following 1-on-1 and Weekly Learning that week. Only Fight, Study, Explore.
There will be a Yule Festival activity that will be posted once we get to the December 21st Homebase. It will not require Explore to be picked in order to participate.
Forging Update
Forging is receiving an expansion with the presence of a new NPC, Emyr the Enchanter. The update is detailed more in the Blacksmith post of this thread.
Elemental Bonus Damage
An allied unit on the map had an Iron Blaze Knife, a carryover weapon from importing a VEX-C sheet for updating our sheet. This weapon and a few others in their description described dealing bonus damage to enemies weak to a certain element. While this was just a cool flavour thing I did cause the NPC was based on a build I was toying with for VEX-C, and the items hadn’t been deleted yet, this brought up concern about this feature being suddenly added.
Upon thinking on it a little more, I felt like eh, it can’t hurt to add in. Enemies that have weaknesses will be far and few between, at least in Chapters 3 and 4, but I have decided to implement it in some degree.
To implement this I’ve added an extra step in Forging where Seals can be added to physical weapons to grant an elemental bonus damage. Beyond the VEX-C imported Blaze (Fire), Shock (Lightning), Frost (Ice), and Gale (Wind) Seals, I’ve added two more. Hydro (Water) and Tera (Earth).
Magic spells will use their damage type for bonus damage.
New Study Option
A fourth Seminar option has been unlocked, but in addition to that, that 4th slot can instead be used to Teach.
3rd year students will be eligible to run a Tutorial Section for 1st and 2nd year students when selecting to Study for the Homebase Activity. Afterall, one of the best ways to learn is through teaching.
To do so, under Seminar Option 4 select Teach and then under Teaching Subject select the subject you wish to teach.
You can only Teach one Rank and will only get EXP towards that Rank.
You must have a Rank B or higher in the Rank you wish to Teach
Earned Experience is calculated as a difference between Ranks where the Rank of the class you are teaching will be considered as E+. So E+ and B is 5 difference meaning 54 for Strength, 36 for a non-Strength
Major Quests
Added in this Homebase are a new type of Quest that require successful Checks to be Completed in order for the Quest to be considered complete.
A Character that is Exploring, may make a single attempt per quest. For example, there are currently three Quests requiring checks, Caoimhe while exploring may attempt to succeed at a Check for Quest 1, as well as attempt one for Quest 2, as well as attempt one for Quest 3.
These Checks represent helping the Quest Giver out in solving issues, finding information etc.
Fishing
Fishing is receiving an overhaul because honestly, fuck processing fishing the way it was. All bait will berefunded at full value to each character soon.
Instead now, characters will pay to go fishing selecting the tier of bait and receive a heap of fish with the quality of and quantity depending at what tier of bait they bought.
Fishing is not up with the launch of this Homebase but will be up soon.
Support Points
With Cathan no longer with us, some characters will have refunded support points. Going back and tracking each individual investment is tedious at best so I’m just refunding half the value between Cathan and your character, assuming a 50-50 investment.
Character | Points |
Abbie | 5 |
Adalin | 35 |
Beatrix | 80 |
Cerys | 10 |
Marceline | 37 |
Moireach | 150 |
Ursula | 14 |
Waaseyaa | 110 |
Rewards
The class gains 75 Unassigned WEXP, 40 Unassigned CEXP, 2000 GP, 500 Renown, and 50 Support Points for completing the chapter. All of this has been added to the sheets already.
As we will not be leveling up between Chapter 2 and 3, rather than a level boost every character will receive a Tome of Knowledge and a Trait Manual
Glance At The Future
Most students stay at Cennaire over the Winter Holidays, for many it wouldn’t be feasible to return home over a two week holiday anyway. The academy dons the festive spirit, playing host to the Yule Festival starting on the Winter Solstice and lasting for a whole week.
On the last day of the year, Oidhche Challainn, the school throws an absolutely magnificent ball for the students. There is even an age old rumor about wishes coming true on this magnificent night or something. The rumor has run through the mill so often no two versions are the same.
Afterwards we will return for 2 more weeks of class, and the have our mission, with exam season on the horizon.
In terms of glancing at the future in terms of mechanics,
There have been questions about whether or not some of the classes that were introduced to VEX, plus Eibhear’s new class, will be available to students. The answer to that is yes. The following classes will become available to students here during the Chapter 4 Homebase where we will be hitting level 20 before heading into the Two Parter.
In addition to that, two other class lines, and one additional Master Class that I’ve been working and sitting on will also become available. They are the Herbalist and Strider at Advanced, and the Apothecary and Ranger at Master. The last one is Eagle Eye, a Sniper promotion in Master
Don’t worry if none of the classes introduced since we started the team are feasible for your character - we will be having the option for partial respecs during the Chapter 5 Homebase, after the Chapter 4 Two-Parter.
You can read Class Descriptions, mostly copied from a VEX DLC batch for P3H, on this doc here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LflAQkLE6GYijWnbOeqdvldyk5gLjhykN2h3v7gCT_U/edit?usp=sharing
Additionally there are some other changes being made you can read here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H3jF-bNZV7-fGZ1z0gj_RPtzLyX4SQV-3uaf1B5EJmE/edit?usp=sharing

2023.03.21 20:55 McCrae_Cook_23 How to make a good Star Vs. The Forces of Evil reboot happen and convince Disney Channel and Disney TVA to reboot/redo it in the future?
| Since Star Vs. The Forces of Evil used to be a good series, but fell off after Battle of Mewni and not only ended on a awful note, but lost it's popularity and divided the fandom,in what ways on how to make a good Star Vs. The Forces of Evil reboot to improve the plots, characters, have a different timeline(along with making Disney pretend stuff after Battle of Mewni never existed),no mean-spiritedness,Mewni not being a crappy messed-up world, or hateful racism against monsters, having logic and consistency, make the characters more human, mature, smarter and three-dimensional and less flawed,selfish,mean-spirited,dumber,and two-dimensional,have the reboot point out and acknowledge it's problems the original series failed to do, how should the animation-art style be improved(since while the animation style in Season 1 was great, the animation switched over to Rough Draft for the rest of the series starting with Season 2 and became more stiff and lifeless and the characters had no energy or fluid movement, adding more slapstick and cartoon SFX to the reboot, and the romance arcs being kept to a minimum instead of taking up the whole focus. and how to get Disney's attention and convince them to make it happen and greenlight it since The Owl House is ending soon with it's final episode next month, they're still doing their trend of live-action remakes of their animated classics with The Little Mermaid and Peter Pan and Wendy coming this year and Snow White coming in 2024. and Disney gave Proud Family and Phineas and Ferb justice, even if they don't like breaking their policy by making execeptions for others and send notes back. Also,Disney needs to bring back reruns of the series on Disney Channel/Disney XD(with just the first 2 seasons) to get people reinterested in the series, bring back most of the original crew(including Dave Wasson and John Infantino)for the reboot(except Daron Nefcy, cause she's done enough damage to the original series and ruined it with her self-insert Starco ship and has moved on by working at Nickelodeon),have a few characters like Star,Rhombulous,Kelly,StarFan13,and Hekapoo recast with new VA's(since Star's VA has no plans to return to acting since Star Vs. ended and her ABC Middle spinoff got axed three years ago and is now a mother raising two children) and Disney needs to learn that some people just love the show and stop burying the series in the ground because of the abysmal final season and airing it in the early morningtimes(at 7am),by pretending the later seasons don't exist? https://preview.redd.it/btdlajvld5pa1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=04f8b21add9fbabb16ff90f7de700d0711705575 How to make a Star Vs. 2023.03.21 20:55 cfdsrety Where To Watch John Wick: Chapter 4 Online Streaming Free?
Here are options for downloading or watching John Wick: Chapter 4 streaming the full movie online for free on 123movies & Reddit, including where to watch the iconic action movie franchise continues with a new chapter at home. John Wick: Chapter 4 2023 available to stream on? Is watching John Wick: Chapter 4 on Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime? Yes, we have found an authentic streaming service/media.
Watch Now: John Wick: Chapter 4 Online Free
Get ready to add another superhero movie to your queue! Four years after Shazam hit theaters, it’s finally getting a sequel with John Wick: Chapter 4.
The DC movie follows Billy Batson (Zachary Levi) and his foster siblings as they turn into superheroes upon saying the word, “Shazam!” In the 130-minute film, the group must stop the Daughters of Atlas from using a weapon that could destroy the world.
So where can you watch John Wick: Chapter 4? Is it on HBO Max? What about Netflix? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:
When Will John Wick: Chapter 4 Be Released?
John Wick: Chapter 4 was set to be released in theaters on march.
Will John Wick: Chapter 4 Coming to Movie Theaters?
Yes, John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released exclusively in theaters on March 24, 2023. Originally, the movie was expected to be released on April 1, 2021, but was then pushed to November 4, 2021, and again to March 17, 2023, with these delays ultimately being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Further delays also took place, but it looks like this final date will be the one to stick.
Where To Watch John Wick: Chapter 4:
As of now, the only place to watch John Wick: Chapter 4 is to go to a movie theater when it drops on Friday, March 17. You can find a local showing on Fandango.
Other than that, you will have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video, Apple, and Vudu or stream on HBO Max. Read on for more information.
Will John Wick: Chapter 4 Available for Streaming Online?
Right now, there are currently no confirmed plans for streaming John Wick: Chapter 4. As more cinemas open up and theater attendance continues to rise post-pandemic, simultaneous streaming and theater releases are becoming less common. However, if past titles are anything to go by, it’s a safe bet that Fury Of The Gods will join its DCEU siblings on HBO Max within the next few months. It’s possible that you’ll also be able to rent or buy copies of the movie on other
streaming platforms, such as Amazon or YouTube but again, it’ll be a while before the movie becomes available anywhere other than in theaters.
When Will John Wick: Chapter 4 Be Streaming On HBO MAX?
Since John Wick: Chapter 4 is being distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery, it will, indeed, join HBO Max. However, unlike last year when the company would drop their movies on the streaming platform the same day they were released in theaters, we are going to have to wait at least 45 days before we can watch from the comfort of our living rooms.
While there is no official streaming release date yet, Black Adam, another Warner Bros. movie, was released in theaters on Oct. 21 and didn’t make its way to HBO Max until Dec. 16 — just over 45 days after it debuted. If John Wick: Chapter 4 follows the same trajectory, it’s possible we won’t be able to stream it until early May 2023.
Is John Wick: Chapter 4 Be On Netflix?
No, John Wick: Chapter 4 is not on Netflix — and it likely won’t be any time soon seeing as it is going to stream on HBO Max. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a theater or wait for it to become available on streaming and VOD.
Is John Wick: Chapter 4 Be On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new action movie John Wick: Chapter 4 on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.
John Wick: Chapter 4 Cast And Character?
Keanu Reeves as Jardani Jovanovich / Jonathan “John” Wick, a professional hitman and assassin who has gained legendary reputation for his set of skills and is now hunted by the High Table.
Donnie Yen as Caine, a blind High Table assassin and an old friend of John Wick.
Bill Skarsgård as the Marquis Vincent de Gramont, a powerful member of the High Table whose position is challenged by John Wick.

2023.03.21 20:55 SeeTheSeaInUDP Choose a number - get introduced to 80s - 90s Kpop!
Here I am again LOL. Some of y'all might remmeber that I had done a game almost a year ago for first gen Kpop acts, but because I have expanded some of my horizons to a time that predates first gen, and which is super unique and cool in it's own right, I've decide to come back to do a similar game, but for the late 80s - mid 90s era! That era was marked by a young democratic Korea and a society basically re-inventing and rediscovering itself. I'll be basically looking from 1985 (and maybe a little before that, so maybe maximum 1981) to music in 1995.
I will actually not just be talking about music, but also a little bit of pop culture - actors, models, events, fashion trends,... but I promise, it's going to be majority music LOL.
Game goes as simple as follows :
- 1.Take the number of members your favourite group has (if you can't decide on a fave, choose the groups whose song you listened last). Will be referred to as "your group".
- 2. Go down and choose the number in the list. Then go to the letter the number takes you to. Choose one from a few choices. Might be a song, an artist, a show, a scenario, or just simply a fun fact.
- 3. Because I'm curious, comment down below what you got!
Here we Go! Have fun time-travelling!

2023.03.21 20:47 sapphireto108 Guide to unlock all episodes in Traveling Love
After suffering with this book for awhile, I have completed all 92/92 episodes. IMO, this game is pretty straight forward, easy to play without guide (unlike 30 days haha) but takes up more time due to branch system and complicated ending requirement. Here is some guide and tips
Affection: - Replying text: I don’t think you need to be careful like 30 Days. The 3 options when answering the boys are always so obviously (uninterested, neutral, interested). So just be nice to your target. Take his side when needed. - Choose LI when you can - Spend coins on special dates (50 coins), coffee (40 coins), listening to their stories (20 coins) and instagram posts (a lot lol)
Choices - random encounter: comic book - dylan, book - jisung, palace - rain, exhibition - eden - movies: midnight in paris - eden, 500 days of summer - dylan, bird man - rain, iron man - jisung - study partner has different effects on your grade but overall not important to plot, so just choose who you like. But your grades will be highest with Dylan and lowest with Jisung.
Branches: There are 6 branches. Each with 2 boys that you have highest % affection. Some branches are longer than others. Here’s the list - Branch 1: Rain and Jisung (2 ep) - Branch 2: Dylan and Jisung (4 ep) - Branch 3: Jisung and Eden (2 ep) - Branch 4: Eden and Rain (3 ep) - Branch 5: Rain and Dylan (2 ep) - Branch 6: Eden and Dylan (3 ep)
Endings - Happy End + Secret: Get internship, Max Affection / Without secret: affection not max - Normal end: Fail internship, Affection 80-100% - Bad End: 2 LIs with same affection at 60-80%
I spend coins on everything and get secret ends easily. Getting normal and bad end is more tedious. - To fail internships: choose men care product for sponsor, answer DM unprofessionally, talk bad about the job with Hannah, screw up final interview - Tips for getting bad end: ensure you keep both LI at moderate affection, switch between interested and uninterested answers (hot and cold). On last day, after checking with Robin, you can invite someone NOT in your current branch to hang out so you don’t raise affection to your current branch LI (ex: invite Dylan out in Branch 1)
Some hidden inbox: - Ep 25 different sides: buy both insta pic of Dylan and Rain - [Ending] Gangneung Trip and Recharging: get bad end, then Hannah will invite you for a trip. Accept or reject to get both
My favorite is Dylan, but I love Rain and Jisung too. I just don’t like Eden haha. You can ask me anything about the stories. I have screenshots for some parts but not all.

2023.03.21 20:40 wordonthestreet2 Survivor 44 Episode 3 Edgic and Contenders
As always would love to know what you guys think!
- Carolyn (MOR2) - We didn’t see a lot from Carolyn this episode which I think is a good thing after the amount of content she got this last episode. I really liked the confessional she gave about how she was playing Survivor and “doing it well”. The editors have consistently made it a point to show her to us as a player despite her over the top personality and now they are emphasizing that she is also doing a good job.
- Matthew (CP3) - I liked this episode for Matthew and the flashback to him finding the idol was fun. The only thing that I can knock about his edit so far is that he is such an obvious front runner at this stage. It doesn’t rule him out completely but him winning would not be consistent with the New Era style of editing.
- Carson (MOR3) - I still think that Carson’s edit is a little too obvious but honestly I don’t know who else I would rank him below. We are clearly intended to see him as the biggest strategic threat on his tribe and the editors are really leaning into him “embracing his chaotic side” which gives him a long term story arch.
- Frannie (CP4) - Frannie is starting to slip as a contender for me after this episode. Outside of her showmance with Matt, Claire was the one player that she was shown having a connection to and we didn’t get to hear any confessionals about her being torn about ultimately turning on her ally. I’m not going to move her too far down yet because she could get more content relating to this next episode but she will need more personal/strategic development outside of her showmance with Matt.
- Yam Yam (OTT3) - I’m a little bit lower on Yam Yam than most people are. He’s a fun character but we’re only being given strategic content of him when it is necessary. When you compare this to the edits that recent “big characters” who won (Ex: Maryanne, Gabler) they were still consistently shown explaining their strategy to us. I could definitely move him up in the future if he starts to get more of this content but for now he is just outside of my top contenders.
- Heidi (CP3) - This episode was pretty good for Heidi and helped establish her as a player. Part of this was circumstantial with her being the swing vote but the editors also made sure to highlight her relationship with Danny which leads me to believe that could be important moving forwards.
- Danny (CP5) - Danny had another big episode this week and he is quickly climbing up in the rankings. However a lot of his content has still been surrounding his antics with the idol so I would really want to see more personal/strategic development outside of this in order to move him up more.
- Sarah (MOR3) - We did get some underdog content from Sarah but it overall felt kind of lackluster. A lot of the content that she got was focused on Carson which leads me to believe that she is more of a secondary character.
- Lauren (UTR2) - The editors have made sure to consistently remind us of Lauren’s presence but it’s never really anything substantiative. At this point I think that she does not have enough of a storyline to be a serious contender and my guess is that she will be a boot around the early/mid merge.
- Brandon (OTTP3) - I do think that it’s a good thing that Brandon got some personal content this episode but it felt kind of disjointed and out of place. I think that he would have a more cohesive storyline if his personal content was given to us last episode after he successfully played his idol.
- Matt (OTTN3) - This was another episode that was not great for Matt. He caught some negative SPV early in the episode regarding his relationship with Frannie and had the “dodo music” in the background after finding the fake idol. No doubt he’s a big character, but I think his chances of winning the game without any development outside of his showmance with Frannie are pretty low.
- Kane (MOR2) - Kane’s content hasn’t been horrible but I just don’t know who else he would go above. His scenes in this week’s episode didn’t really advance any particular storyline for him other than to reinforce that he is a nerdy Canadian which we already knew. If I had to guess, he will end up being a premerge boot and the editors just wanted to give him his flowers by giving him some screen time here.
- Josh (MORN2) - We finally got some content from Josh but it was kind on unavoidable with him being the decoy boot at tribal council. I didn’t really come away from this episode knowing much more about him other than the fact that he’s not trustworthy.
- Jaime (OTTM3) - Jaime got a decent amount of content this episode but it was mostly circumstantial or used to solidify our understanding that Matthew is the dominant player within the Ratu tribe.
