I’m sure that 99% of the posts on this sub are similar to this, but I just need someone to turn to listen so I can get advice and feel heard
For context, I (18M) met my gf (18F) while in the last year of my boarding school. We’ve been together just over 13 months now. As I lived in boarding school for the majority of the year it worked out really well and we managed to come together and frequently see each other for 6-7 months. Then I had to move back home once I finished high school, which is a 3 hour flight away, as well as another 2 hours worth of travel time. To summarise it sucks. Since the start of this year I’ve seen my gf in person twice, and boh times have been extremely quick 3-4 day visits, which isn’t very fair to her when I’m away for 2 months at a time before seeing her
Personally, I’m ok. With covid I didn’t see most of my family for 16 months so I can survive because this is the person of my dreams and I am so willing to wait. However, I can see she is really really struggling and it breaks my heart seeing her trying to be patient and hold on, but it’s hurting her. She even said to me today that ‘she feels like she’s losing connection, even though she doesn’t want to feel like that’. I’m trying my best with FaceTiming and I’m setting up virtual dates and sending presents, but that lack of physical presence is getting to her and I’m lost of what else I can do
I seriously want to spend the rest of my life with this woman, but I’m not sure how practical it is cause the next window we both have to actually be together permanently is in 4-5 years time when we finish our uni courses (we both go to uni in the city we live in), and I’m not sure how much more I can burden her. I’m sure the answer isn’t easy or pleasant, but I wouldn’t mind just having someone listen and give their perspective on the situation

I have come to this realization that maybe I am kind of understated in my emotions and boundaries and things. I try to have a straightforward communication, if I don't like something I will say "Hey, I don't really like this, but I will do it anyway." And then I am doing it because I am a people pleaser and then because I do it, they just assume I am okay with it no matter how many times I calmly say "hey, I don't like this" until I just completely LOSE it. And then they are just flabbergasted, like "why were you doing something you didn't like? Why didn't you say something?" I don't know, I DO say things, but other people don't seem to hear or understand me unless I SCREAM. My newish boss for example. When she started, I said "I am the on call person. I am here to be your secret weapon and provide coverage when it is needed. The absolute maximum amount of hours I am willing to work is 5 hours a day, 4 days a week." I have been scheduled for 5 hours a day, 4 days a week, if not more, for 5 months now. I am used to just covering for other people's vacations. She asked me "so, what is the MAXIMUM amount you can work?" And I said "5 hours." "But that is what you HAVE been working. You said you would cover and be my secret weapon when I need it." And I said "Yes. A MAXIMUM of 5 hours. I would like to work far less." Then she got all mad because I wouldn't increase my hours to cover for someone's vacation? Now she is freaking out because I am taking a vacation and she doesn't have anyone to cover for ME? The thing is, if they actually HIRED someone, I would DEFINITELY work 40 hours now and then to cover for vacations, provided I wasn't literally working my maximum stated hours the rest of the time. That is literally what my job is supposed to be. I had to have a total hissy fit to explain all of this to her, 5 hours is my MAXIMUM. That is a hard limit. That is my boundary. I'm not trying to negotiate or play games. I literally said what I meant. also, it isn't give me 5 hours and try to push me to work MORE. That is the MAXIMUM, not the minimum. I can't CALMLY tell anyone how I feel and what my boundaries are, because they don't take it seriously and think it is some kind of joke or negotiation unless I screem and cry and stomp my feet. And then they are like "dang, why you making such a big deal?" Because you didn't HEAR me when I said it calmly! I don't know how to communicate with people. If I tell them in a calm way, they just think it's a fucking joke and they can just walk all over me. Then, when I can't take it anymore, suddenly I am the bad guy, when I have been clearly saying over and over again exactly what I want/need.

i played on ps5, according to ps5. according to ps5 ive spent 63 hours playing it, although i restarted once after about 8 to 10 hours. played on the third of 4 difficulties (just below ironman), full tactical.
the game is very good looking. this matters. in fact, it is a major reason why i bought it. i love the art style. i appreciated that quality of the alternate costumes. i really grew to like digs.
from a gameplay perspective, the game became frustrating pretty early on. it is not that it was too challenging, it was that i simply had no idea what i was supposed to do. the fights were not simply hard, they seemed genuinely statisticly impossible to win. worse, since there was no resource recovery, outside of draining miasma and leveling up, for a long time several things seemed like terrible design choices. then, at arround the end of the first act, the games combat became a puzzle where the objective was to ensure that no enemy ever took an action, or barring that, ever attacked one of you party members. ussually, this puzzle was easy to solve. almost all combat encounters were completed in 1 turn. rarely, very rarely, a second turn was needed.
in the end i liked the game. but i think it would have been helpful to be more thorough in explaining to the player that they are supposed to stealth past all enemies for virtually the entire first act, until they get mind worms.
i liked the surprise at the end of what i would call the second act. but it really felt like there was supposed to more content after that. even though the game is on the long side, it felt like it ended pretty suddenly. i would have preferred more
although i completed every combat encounter and drained every miasma vortex, according the achievements, there is still an enemy type i have not seen and a power i did not get. i assume these must be tied to the ironman difficulty.
earlier i wrote a very frustrated and angry post on this forum. i dont regret what i wrote before, it came from the heart, but having completed the game, i do now feel happy with Miasma Chronicles.

hi everyone. i started talking to this guy in december and we really hit it off from the beginning and i really enjoyed talking to him. we met on hinge and when we started talking he was visiting his parents across the country for the holidays and i was out of the country visiting my best friend for the holidays. i’m a very shy person so it’s really hard for me to get comfortable with people and feel that the conversation is flowing naturally. but him and i got along very well and i was having fun getting to know him over text; that felt safer for me. we didn’t actually meet until the beginning of february. he had lost his childhood pet soon after he got home and he blocked me out of what he said was panic for a few days. eventually, we started talking again, met up, and i really enjoyed his presence and he seemed to like me as well. we’ve been hanging out consistently over the past few months but he is not the best at communication. he’s constantly turning his phone off, which i totally respect, but sometimes he’ll do it in the middle of a conversation. there’s also times where he won’t talk to me for days at a time. he just finished working on a big project that kept him busy for the last month or so, but it was really hard to even hold a conversation with him throughout that time. a lot of the same conversation day in and day out. it felt like there was very little effort in trying to grow something i guess.
i feel like i am really starting to like him and i would like to explore that and see where it goes, but i don’t know how to bring that up. i have very little experience in the dating world and my parents weren’t exactly in love with each other growing up. a lot of the times i feel like i’m navigating the dating world completely blind, so i tend to overthink things and panic about silly things. we were supposed to hang out tonight, but he completely stood me up. we usually check in with each other through the day, especially since he finished his big project and he took this whole week off of work as a vacation. but today it was radio silence. no check in or anything but he was posting on instagram and liking my story as well. all day i hear nothing from him even though we had plans tonight and at almost 8pm i get a text from him asking if tomorrow night would be better since he was tired from the day.
firstly, i think i’m really starting to like him and i’ve been able to brush off a lot of little yellow flags, if you will, because i really enjoy spending time with him and he makes me laugh and such. but other times i feel like i am more mature than him despite being almost 7 years younger than him. i had to grow up very young and i tend to want to talk to older men because of emotional maturity sometimes. i’m not asking for the world, i just would like to feel like i’m being considered and cared about.
how do i bring up liking him and wanting to grow our relationship and seeing where this takes us without wanting to melt from anxiety?
TLDR; how to i tell this man that i like him and want more effort from him/to move towards a relationship?

i feel like i am really starting to like him and i would like to explore that and see where it goes, but i don’t know how to bring that up. i have very little experience in the dating world and my parents weren’t exactly in love with each other growing up. a lot of the times i feel like i’m navigating the dating world completely blind, so i tend to overthink things and panic about silly things. we were supposed to hang out tonight, but he completely stood me up. we usually check in with each other through the day, especially since he finished his big project and he took this whole week off of work as a vacation. but today it was radio silence. no check in or anything but he was posting on instagram and liking my story as well. all day i hear nothing from him even though we had plans tonight and at almost 8pm i get a text from him asking if tomorrow night would be better since he was tired from the day.
firstly, i think i’m really starting to like him and i’ve been able to brush off a lot of little yellow flags, if you will, because i really enjoy spending time with him and he makes me laugh and such. but other times i feel like i am more mature than him despite being almost 7 years younger than him. i had to grow up very young and i tend to want to talk to older men because of emotional maturity sometimes. i’m not asking for the world, i just would like to feel like i’m being considered and cared about.
how do i bring up liking him and wanting to grow our relationship and seeing where this takes us without wanting to melt from anxiety?

It’s either im attracting the wrong men, lowering my standards, or faithful men are just genuinely hard to come by now. In all of my past relationships i’ve been mistreated and have been taken for granted and i’m reaching my breaking point. Of course they didn't know ive heard what they said, but that hurt me profusely. They discovered my secret and didn't offered any help whatsoever, i know im already a grown ass man and shouldn't be sad from that but their indifference towards my struggle really hurted deep inside my heart.
Turns out i fucked up my taper and I've been shooting more than ever before after that. the social assistence staff that attend me said in previous sessions that rehab is always an option, are free and is all up to me to do it.
I'm looking forward to do it, i'm planning to lie to them that i will pass a time with my cousin who live in another state to go on rehab without them knowing, i would like to know if i could keep up with the lie and how long such rehab would last, and if i can use cellphone or internet (i've only been to psych hospitalization and those where completely forbidden) its truly heart breaking that i have to deal with this mistake all alone, please someone experienced rehab clearify my concerns and how long would last, some tips are welcome too, i am devastated.

Wilson and Prince ruin things for Sheamus and Ridge, costing them their matches against LA Knight and AJ Styles respectively. However, Bitch is successfully able to defeat Grayson Waller to qualify for the ladder match in London.
At the PPV, Butch competes in the opening Money In The Bank Ladder Match. In the match that also feature Knight, Styles, Edge, Chad Gable, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet and Damian Priest, Butch take every other man to task like a true Brusierweight. Butch puts his all into winning the briefcase, getting close on a few occasions. However, it’s not his night as the briefcase is retrieved by LA Knight. Later in the night, Sheamus and Ridge face off against and only just win over Pretty Deadly in tag team action.
Backstage, Butch is pissed at not winning the briefcase, taking it out on the travel equipment. However the man to try and calm him down… Tyler Bate. Bate tries to reason with Butch and manages to settle him down enough to say “I know you’re a fighter, but honestly, aren’t you just done with it?” before walking away.

Sheamus announces that it will be himself and Ridge Holland going for the titles, leaving Butch dismayed and insulted by the very notion he’s lesser than either of them. He mentions in NXT he was the UK champion for 2 years as well as Ridge Hollands mentor but with the Brutes, he’s being seen as lesser then. Sheamus tells him to get in line and leave the talking for the big boys. Butch stares Sheamus down for a few moments before rolling out of the ring and walking to the back.
On Raw, a Battle Royal takes place to determine the challenges for the Tag Team titles at Summerslam. Ridge and Sheamus enter the match as announced but they’re surprised by a different team. British Strong Style. Tyler Bate… and Pete Dunne. Reverting to the most successful version of himself, Dunne and Bate go on a tear in the Battle Royal before Sheamus and Holland try to eliminate Dunne and Bate from the match. However, they counter and eliminate the Brutes. They’re so pissed off with the elimination, the re-enter the ring and assault BBS. This allows a different team (let’s give it to DIY) to eliminate Dunne and Bate. (DIY go on to win the whole match).
Pete Dunne tells all on Smackdown leading to Summerslam. He says he was brought in as a joke and he’s sick of being the punch line and the punching bag of the group. He’s realised he absolutely despised the other two for treating him like a literal child. This provokes Sheamus and Ridge to come out and try and get Dunne beaten again. Tyler Bate makes the save and fights alongside Dunne. The challenge is issued. BBS V.S The Brawling Brutes in a Dublin Bar Room Brawl at Summerslam. Both parties accept.
At Summerslam, the battle is insane. All four men take the other team to task and reeks havoc throughout Ford Field. However, it finishes with Sheamus attempting a Brogue Kick on Dunne. More than 3 months ago I was on Omegle on the unmoderated 18+ section, also if I remember correctly I put some sexual tags in the tag bar, my cam was pointing at my pants and I got matched with a user whose cam was pointing at a nude vag1na, all you could see was that, I know it was stupid but, assuming she was of legal age, i sent two messages asking her to "f1nger it" and started "moving my hand in my pants", as far as I remember I wasn't showing my privates anyways, but I was obviously doing you know what, she did nothing but after some seconds (less than/around a minute of time for sure) she revealed she was a child in chat and also briefly revealed her face, after I read the age I skipped and disconnected from the site. Assuming she was from US (was black and wrote in English) (or anyways definitely not from the country I'm based in) and me being located in Italy, I've been reading about INTERPOL investigations and arrests of ppl outside US for crimes committed against victims in US and the panic and fear has been just eating me away. I swear I'm not a p3do and I never did anything like that in my life, don't have a criminal record and I didn't go on Omegle looking for that, when I got matched with that user I didn't think she could possibly be a minor so I sent those two messages, after finding out the age I disconnected and now I've been panicking for months. Also I can't really remember everything perfectly cause it's already been 3+ months but the interaction didn't last more than 1/2 minutes. Can this be considered enticement? Wtf was a naked minor doing on there? I also read about the "underage girl scam" here on Reddit and it seems pretty common on this type of websites, given also the fact that most scammers of this type are from Nigeria so the skin color would match up, but I definitely don't know. If she was in fact under legal age (which I'm pretty sure she was, seeing her face at the end) would this be enough evidence to start an international investigation? If police/whoever came and seized my devices they wouldn't find anything because I never accessed/downloaded cp coz I'm not a p3do, but what if this happens? Would they have a reason to believe I was molesting her even if she was the one already nude when the connection started and I was not and I skipped when she revealed the age? On unmoderated section no snapshots are saved according to Omegle's TOS so the only thing would be the chatlog (if the other user saved it) in which you can clearly see that, after she wrote her age, I didn't entertain any form of conversation and disconnected. I didn't give any personal information or anything like that and never showed my face. Also what about jurisdiction over Italy on those matters? If anyone has some experience with this type of things pls reply. Also please don't report this as a troll like you already did, as I'm really serious pls and suffer from mental health issues because of this, trying to put this behind me but it's not easy at all. Kind of almost attempted su1c1de once because of this, I don't know what to do anymore.

Hi all - hope this is okay. Myself and my husband are coming to the end of our fixed term. We owe £70k. We bought a proper fixer upper in the north east of England at a good time and have good jobs. For context, we are lucky - Collective salary is £104k - about £6300 take home after all taxes, pension etc. We have small children so outgoings are high for childcare etc. However, we save a lot a month. Probably £2k a month. Previous mortgage was £500 a month but we overpaid £350 a month and have done the max overpayment this year whilst interest is low.
At this point we have 17 years left on mortgage but can obviously pay this much quicker. We have savings (about £65k) so have money to fall back on.
Is it better to shorten the term dramatically - say to 7 years (£979 per month) or to simply keep the term the same/shorten less dramatically and overpay each month?
