I am a recent college grad living in the Bay hoping to boost some science courses on my GPA to look better for medical school application and was looking into the PHAP program from CSUEB. Has anyone gone through it or a similar program and found success? I have a 3.2 GPA right now paired with a 511 MCAT ( that I plan to retake). Planning on applying in a couple of days. Thanks.

Does anyone have experience with either of these two? I can't find anyone talking about either of these two online and would love some insight. How are the professors, the courses, the cohorts, and the job placement? Which program is "better"? Both economics and statistics are versatile fields but it seems like the Quantitative Economics one might've been slapped together as a marketing scheme like the major of Business Analytics or Data Science programs nowadays.

Hello guys, I am getting on here to ask for some advice and any insight is welcome!
I am Hayward Bay Area based and want to go to a csu bsn program. I will be applying this spring 2023. My top choices are SFSU, CSUEB, CSU chico, CSU stanislaus. I would apply to sjsu but they don't take transfers in the spring, and honestly I hate SJ in general LOL. {i would love to go to csula but they only admit in the fall} :(( I heard that you get a higher chance to get accepted during spring because there less applicants in spring compared to fall. So, I hope that is true.
Here are my stats:
pre-req gpa: 3.68 (i got a B in A&P II and a B+ in Microbio) but I will retake A&P II over the summer to get an A) which will fix my pre-req gpa to a 3.83 [i don't have the mental capacity to take microbio again :! ]
overall gpa: 3.806 (i also took some additional classes at a cc and will most likely get all A's at the end of may
TEAS: 74.7% (but will retake in the summer and aim for a 90% or higher) but realistically just want a 85% plus LOL
extra curriculars: 200+ volunteer hours at kaiser permanete, have a CPT-1 license (just got it so, don't have hours under this), speak a second language (can verify)
Any insight helps!!!!

Will be transferring to East Bay in the Fall as a grad student and have applied for a TA position (haven't interviewed yet). The only provided info so far just says you're paid x amount of WTU's depending on the class, but I'm wondering if anybody knows how much you get compensated per WTU?
I can and will of course ask for this info during the interview process, but just curious if any TA's are out there who can share their personal experience!

I know this gets asked some, but none of the posts are recent and I feel like they don't ask the right thing. People ask if it's good, but I just want to know how it is. I don't have high ass expectations, and I don't expect to join a frat nor go to parties every day. However, given that it's a commuter school, I still want to know if there is life and activity on campus, or any general input on what social life there is like.
