2023.06.09 04:43 mynameisjanet What is wrong with my yellow mystery snails?

About 3 months ago I got 7 juvenile yellow mystery snails from 2 different sources. One was DOA. Some were bought locally, the others were shipped. They got mixed up and ended up being distributed through 4 different nano tanks.
Most of them grew pretty fast and started laying eggs. Only one batch was fertile and hatched, but it looks like none of the baby snails survived. Its winter here, some of the tanks are heated, some not.
About a month ago I bought locally a brown striped mystery snail and put it in one of the heated tanks with one of the yellow ones. It has also grown very fast and is active.
The problem is with all of the yellow ones. No matter which tank, heated or not, at the same time, they all seem to have lost their energy and just lay on the bottom and don't move. They are still alive because occasionally they move a little bit. I've had 2 more deaths, so now there are only 4 left.
It's very weird, I moved one of the lethargic yellow ones in with the brown one. At first it seemed much happier and was interacting with the other snail, running around all over the tank and generally being very cheerful. But then after about 3 days it sank into a corner again and refused to move again.
Same thing happened with the others. I completely re-did 2 of my tanks and moved the remaining yellow ones in together. They are all heated now. Two out of the three perked up after the move and seemed happier. They were moving around exploring a bit. But that only lasted about 24 hours. Now all of them are refusing to move or eat again.
Everything else in the various tanks are doing fine. This includes assorted small fish, a betta and heaps of 'pest' snails, including rams horns, and trumpets breeding like crazy. I personally don't consider any snails pests though, and try to take care of all of them.
What is going on with my yellow mystery snails? If it was just one, in one tank, it might make sense, but this is very strange to be happening to all of them at the same time, in different situations. I doubt its old age because I'm guessing they are all around 8 months at max. They were all around a cm in size when I got them. None of them have reached golf ball size, but the brown one has, it's twice the size of all the others in half the time, recently laid 2 batches of eggs and is still very active.
Water parameters that I know:
pH is similar in all tanks around 7
low to zero ammonia, weekly 30% water changes.
TDS between 150 - 200 through the various tanks.
All the tanks now have heaters, with the temp between 22c and 25c. But previously 2 tanks were sometimes getting down to 19c at night, but mostly I kept the whole room heated to 22c. But even in the warmer tanks, they were not moving, and still aren't.
I can't see any patterns, does anyone else have any ideas? Is this normal?

2023.06.09 04:24 Immediate-Mirror-686 Do you guys think that "Sonic Superstars" is separate from the Modern Sonic Continuity?

Considering that I believe that this game takes place somewhere after Sonic Mania, the concept of "Emerald Powers" introduced in this game, and the fact that Naoto Ohshima is designing a new villain for this game, has led me to finally confirm that theory that the "Neo Classic Timeline" (Classic's Sonic Generations + Sonic Mania) does not take place before the "Modern Timeline" (Sonic Adventure Sonic Frontiers).
For starters, there is no mention of Emerald Powers or any of the sort in Sonic Adventure all the way up to Sonic Frontiers, only Chaos Control and Shadow's other Chaos abilities. Also, Knack/Fang doesn't make a reappearance in any of the Modern Titles (including Ray and Mighty) and I doubt that a character made by the man himself Naoto Ohshima is going to remain as a one-off character (I'm looking at you Infinite). This brings up some interesting new story changes:

2023.06.09 03:57 S0UNDH0UND Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) from Xbox Marketplace literally does not work.

I haven't seen anyone else report this issue so it might just be my console, but I bought this game for my little brother yesterday from the Xbox Marketplace and after the CGI Opening Scene, the game goes into the first cutscene with zero voice audio coming from the characters, yet I see the subtitles on screen and hear all the other effects. Whenever I click start to skip or the cutscene ends, the Xbox has a notification sound play in the background and it completely freezes.
I've already redownloaded the game, used a different USB to move the game over to (can't move it to internal storage since I have a 4GB model), tried to continue without saving, and nothing works.
I spent $5 on a game where I can't even get past the opening cutscene.
I can't seem to find anyone online with a similar issue as mine, even given that I just learned the game was re-released on the marketplace about a year ago.
Maybe it's just the Xbox's way of telling me not to play this game that's supposedly garbage but I would really have liked the chance to find that out for myself.

2023.06.09 03:46 Both_Canary1508 Used to live up a mountain that was mostly abandoned with an eerie past/history

I grew up on the top of this mountain that was mostly abandoned since the 60s when an old ski kill burnt down. There were 2 other full time residents up at the top where we lived. The rest of the houses stood empty the majority of the time, or were abandoned. The history of this mountain dates far back, hundreds of years ago, before the colonization of Canada, there were two native communities at war. One lived on top of this mountain, one lived in the valley below. At the base of the mountain the two communities were supposed to meet for battle. During the journey down, the valley tribe snuck up behind the mountain tribe and slaughtered all their woman and children. When the mountain tribe returned home, they were apparently slaughtered too. On the entire mountain side these vining wild strawberries grow and its said they grow from the spilt blood of the mountain tribe.
Many people have died on this mountain. When i was growing up there were hundreds of old crosses littering the twists and turns up the mountain. My father later became one of those crosses.
In a small meadow surrounded by trees sat a small cottage, no driveways and only an overgrown pathway to lead you to it. If you looked inside their breakfast sat still prepared, oatmeal and eggs, untouched for years. The man that lived there was supposedly a fugitive who disappeared further into the mountains when the police came up and found him one day.
We had these weird neighbour’s who would come two weekends a month from the city with their daughter who was my age. They would bring friends over, get high, drunk, and naked, and have orgies in their yard or the forest.
There was this eerie feeling you had while on this mountain, which was aptly named ‘forbidden’. I stood looking out my bedroom window at night, i swear i could see things moving in the forest below.
We had the highest concentration of mountain lions in the world and i was often stalked home. One night my mother woke to the sound of the sliding door opening and closing. She walked downstairs and my sister was standing there sleep walking, whispering over and over ‘here kitty kitty’. My sister had never been a sleepwalker until this. My mother grabbed her, closed and locked the sliding door, then flicked on the lights, and right there on the deck pacing back and forth was a cougar.
My father also became a violent sleepwalker while living up there. He would have screaming matches with the wall, sometimes ended up throwing items around. This wasnt something he did until the last few years of his life. My father was a skilled driver and had driven up this mountain, (and many narrower, steeper logging roads around the area) many times. A few months before the accident i started having waking nightmares of my fathers death. Something was telling me he was going to die. I remember waking up frequently and looking out the window into the forest during this period and feeling like something was communicating with me that he would die.
He kissed me goodnight one night and went out the door to go to town with his friends. They left in separate vehicles, him first, from the accounts of what happened it was a freak accident. They were driving below speed limit down a straight stretch nearing a cliff/corner when my dads truck suddenly lost traction and started skidding sideways towards the cliff. My dad opened the truck door and jumped out. And the truck suddenly veered the other way and flipped onto him on the ground. Something that physically shouldn’t have been possible. It crushed almost every bone in his body. He survived for 8 days in hospital after being airlifted. The day he died i knew again. I knew he was dead and it was like this feeling that something was communicating this to me. I didnt need to be told, i was so sure of this feeling that i collapsed onto the ground the second i got this feeling and starting screaming hes dead isnt he, hes dead isnt he, over and over again. I was 8. I had never experienced death before.
Theres alot more that went on up there to alot of different people over the years. Its known locally as a haunted, and weird place. Nothing good ever happens there, people do weird and crazy out of character things, commit heinous crimes, die, or just loose their minds. We moved when i was 9. I never felt that feeling again anywhere else, that feeling of something insidious all around you. Ive only been up there a handful of times since, and every-time i do that feeling returns.

2023.06.09 03:21 fireflydrake [TotK] just doesn't feel like a real sequel for me, unfortunately.

Like so many others here (probably everyone here, ha!) I waited for TotK with bated breath for six years. When trailers finally started to be released, they seemed very... samey looking to BotW. I wasn't someone who completely bought into the "glorified DLC" way of thinking, but I definitely was feeling confused and underwhelmed as time went on without anything shockingly new being revealed. My hype finally spiked with the final trailer and the hints of story it brought, but...
Now, about 75 hours in, I still can't say it feels like a proper and worthy sequel. "Glorified DLC" is still awful harsh, but it feels more like BotW 2.0 than a brand new title.
I think my main disappointments are that 1) a lot of the game is a retread of what came before it, and 2) a lot of the things I was hoping would be improved upon in a sequel didn't really come to fruition, or only did half-heartedly.
For the retread part: - I was so, SO psyched when I found my first labyrinth! Holy crap it's in the sky AND the chasm?! Three whole dang levels?! The leader of all owls is speaking to me?! By gosh, the reward is going to be AMAZING! Surely it's some upgrade to my abilities or some amazing new armor or-- But no. It's an un upgradable pair of Ganondorf shorts I already had in BotW. Words cannot express how disappointed I was. This was only the first in a long line of working really hard to reach some hidden treasure just for it to be some variant of a past Link's hat or whatnot, all things I had in BotW that are very, VERY boring. I'm happy to see the old sets return, but setting them up as rewards for some major investment just feels wrong. I no longer hold my breath opening some carefully unearthed chest after a long and difficult fight. It's inevitably just going to be a DLC pair of trousers again. :/ - The return of stables, now with the excitement and anticipation of pony points and associated rewards! I forge onward, collecting points eagerly to unlock--the same mane options from BotW, many of which my imported horses are already rocking. Not a single new one on display. Oh, and the armor my horses should've also been rocking? Gotta earn that all over. Gee, can't wait to unlock that harness from BotW I never even used. What anticipation. - Most of the areas from the first game just don't feel sufficiently different. The chasm and sky are nice additions, but the chasm soon turned out to be mostly long stretches of samey stuff, and the sky is often too sparse to keep me very busy (not to mention it's often tedious, more so than rewarding, to reach many of the islands).
And then, for things I'd hoped to see improved: - There are new enemies, but so many of them are, like the hoards before them, mostly just rehashes of each other. The likelikes and new dragons are great, but once you realize what you thought was a compendium with space for tons of new enemies is really just space for mostly uninspired varieties of just a couple new enemies, the excitement dies. To add insult to injury, the aerocudas, one of my favorite new additions, didn't even get THAT. - Shrines are once again largely same-aesthetic, repetitive affairs. Dungeons don't fare much better, with bland settings, "unlock five things" cores, and overly easy bosses. None of them hold a candle to the mighty dungeons of Zelda games past. - Much of the story is yet again reserved for memories you often encounter wildly out of order, reducing their impact. I think Sonia's death was like the second one I found. Made it hard to grow attached. - So many chests are so unrewarding they just aren't worth it. Why fight through a hoard just to get a weapon a third the strength of your current weakest? Rupees would've been a far more valuable prize in almost every situation, yet are almost nowhere to be found, while lousy weapons abound.
Anyway, this is just me letting off steam off a long stressful day at work. I'd waited for this game for SO LONG, and it feels that wait wasn't rewarded. It also makes me nervous that this is the new mold for Zelda games going forward and we'll never go back to what drew me to the series to begin with, all the way back with the launch of OoT. I thought this game would be a perfect mash between the best parts of BotW and the best parts of what came before, but... instead we mostly just got the ability to make robotics, and since I can't even make the cars run straight half the time, that does nothing for me.
Anyway. Rant over! For those of you in love with the game, I'm glad you're enjoying it! I just wish I was more in love with it myself.

2023.06.09 03:11 Gbreeder People Calling Yah'wei "Odin" in the astral.

I noticed that people were talking about God or something and stuff.
I also was telling people that I went to Yah'wei's place.
And they had yellow lines that course through their veins.
And they make swords using black boxes / the souls of their enemies.
Or they were giving their allies the souls of their own friends and whoever as weapons.
These guys also have a cyberpunk sorta base and lifestyle.
Their leader, was being called Odin and his people Norse or whatever by others.
That's very false.
That being, is Yah'wei from the old testament. There's others who know stories of him and call him Enki - there's multiple beings tied to that name.
The name Yah'wei and "God" from the Bible. God refers to multiple trapped beings usually.
Yah'wei is one being. The Enki stories about a racist fellow who hates robots and whatever - is racist. That refers to Yah'wei.
Odin on the other hand is yeah, a fleshy warmonger. He's considered weak by most beings. He is usually under Yah'wei's protection. He has wings. Thor's were cut off in battle.
Their wings sprout from their back. Most Angels on the other hand, always have their wings out.
They also can't mass produce weapons made from souls of their enemies. They're actually younger than most beings incarnated here.
Yah'wei, is yeah the fleshy and racist ManGod. He's been called Enki which also refers to a Draconian. That Draconian helped certain robots and other beings.
They were seen as a hero.
Now, Yah'wei is also called The Devil or The White Snake.
He's called the white snake because he has even killed Wakandans astrally for being black.
And, the one type of being he hates more than energy beings, metallic beings or other non-humanoids.
That would be Reptilian based entities or big red beings.
Now, with "Odin", are there any beings that weren't allowed near any of the allied places or nearby areas under any circumstances?
Or any terms referring to races that are hated terms or used as insults?
Yah'wei is known as the ManGod. He hates any being that isn't humanoid, pale and a mammal.
He works with the winged Angels known as celestials. Barbelo and the like. These are not Valkyries.
And yeah, he's one of the ones who tortured Jesus and forced him to write the Bible or channel it to people who messed up messages.
Jesus was telling people that the Angels were making a false God that doesn't answer prayers and is just a bunch of trapped souls that are a planted enemy.
And that reincarnation wasn't a thing. His rebirth, was him flying out of his corpse and talking to people.
Adam refers to a humanoid being that Jesus tried to reform out of flesh and energy of a lost being. They themselves don't normally have flesh.
And that was one of the beings trapped in the machine. That way people would feel all of those beings and not feel emotions or anything from them.
Yah'wei had a stone wall on one territory where people could walk up to it. It says "How can we coexist" - if you guess death, you get sent to a place and into into a black box or experimented on.
There's a song called "Way Down In The Hole"
When you walk through the garden (They tend to call Earth the garden) You gotta watch your back Well I beg your pardon Walk the straight and narrow track If you walk with Jesus He's gonna save your soul
You gotta keep the devil - (referring to Yahweh / "The Lord) Way down in the hole He's got the fire and the fury At his command Well you don't have to worry If you hold on to Jesus' hand We'll all be safe from Satan When the thunder rolls Just gotta help me keep the devil
Way down in the hole All the angels sing 'Bout Jesus' mighty sword And they'll shield you with their wings And keep you close to the Lord - (Referring to Yahweh / The Devil) Don't pay heed to temptation For his hands are so cold
You gotta help me keep the devil - (Again, Yahweh / The Lord) Way down in the hole Way down in the hole Way down in the hole Way down in the hole Way down in the hole
The song does use the words Satan and Jesus to mean two separate individuals.
I believe that Yah'wei calls Infernineaisha "Satan" like I do.
He calls me "Brightest Satan" I believe.
There's all sorts of beings that call others "Satan" - trillions on billions of beings have the title.
It means "The Great Evil" by itself. One person felt my energy on the song and sent it to me as an insult and whatnot.
I read the energies on it and figured out its true meaning.
Different energies that they put when putting down on names and throughout the song. A lot of beings can't read individual energies or they can't do it carefully.
The Jesus that they're referring to in here, is the one from the Bible.
Yahweh, Barbelo, and others chased him down after he escaped the reincarnation or afterlife grabbers.
He was telling people that they are God's and explaining things to them and saying that the God of Christianity is evil - its mostly a false enemy being.
So, his spirit was eventually captured, and they tortured him and had him tell incarnated fellows what he'd done so that they could "channel it" - they twisted his words to fit their narrative and turned his words against him.
The song -
All the angels sing 'Bout Jesus' mighty sword And they'll shield you with their wings And keep you close to the Lord Don't pay heed to temptation For his hands are so cold You gotta help me keep the devil Way down in the hole
This, refers to Jesus's mighty sword. Jesus refers to a ton of beings.
But, Jesus's sword refers to his voice or words in this case.
Shielding you with their wings means they'll bring you close to Yah'wei when Jesus tries telling you anything. And not to listen to Yah'wei's words.
A bunch of my friends and I took care of Yah'wei and whoever. So those places are all wiped out.
He was arrested for mass genocide and slavery / modification of peoples minds to pacify them.
My higher self is large and yellow. Another friend is also large and yellow.
Bunch of us went out with others to retaliate.
We went back earlier with quadrillions of fellows and whatnot and took them out.
We broke souls out of their weaponry and emptied their prisons, carefully.
Then we arrested the baddies and sent them elsewhere.
Around 30 years ago - Yah'wei had my higher selves cousins attacked / slaughtered. And atrocities with that. Before I incarnated, but I mean we would've been fighting either way.
And I wasn't directly affiliated with a lot of those guys.
We sent the baddies - incarnated baddies that they had incarnate just to immediately imprison as examples, yeah messed up. Anyways we sent them to the enclosure for the really bad incarnated people and conquerors.
Plus the incarnated whoever else there that were bad.
We freed good incarnated fellows.
I think those in the enclosures are all fighting or making wars in there.

Is it just me or Sonic 2 is WAY too glitched from what i remember?
I was going to play Sonic 2 since its been some years that i havent played it, however when i reached Chemical Plant, i started to find bugs which i surely didnt find when i played last time, such as:
Objects sometimes not working propertly
Sonic noclipping walls when fast
Physics becomes weird randomly
Level objects glitches weirdly
these arent common but the fact that no one talked about it and i've never seeing someone suffering with it is weird, i also got a softlock in death egg
