I've been on HRT for 14 months now. 8 of those were on Cypro+E and 6 on injection monotherapy. I had good blood levels on every single test.
I've also gotten barely any changes, and of the ones I got, none are visible. I have softer skin, I cry more easily. My hairline moved downwards a bit. For the first 4-6 months I got some minor breast growth (not visible under a t-shirt). Since then, I can neither see nor measure any change. Waist and hip measurements are also unchanged. Face and body look unchanged in pictures. I had others compare timeline pictures in case the effects are subtle or I'm too brainwormed to see them. They didn't see anything either. Neither did anyone who sees me irl. I'm not out at work, and I don't need to worry about hiding anything - noone has noticed.
Several people around me have started HRT after me and have massively overtaken me in effects. Some look like completely different people by now. As you might have guessed, this isn't exactly great for my mental health.
It is a lottery. There's no predicting what you get out of HRT. There's no predicting the when either. And if the hormone gods decide you're fucked then you're fucked, there's pretty much nothing you can do.
I'm just too impatient? A bit more than a year is nothing? Maybe. But so far it's been mostly negatives, and there's no guarantees for the future. There's absolutely a chance that this is all I'll ever get out of it. Having my life and future depend on luck to this degree is not easy to deal with.
And it's not a "worst case it does nothing" scenario either. The crying and increased emotionality in general is on the line to being a problem. I've spent entire weekends doing barely anything but crying, I've gotten into trouble with my boss because my work performance suffered from all the crying (I work from home). I've also turned borderline asexual on HRT and I'm really REALLY not happy about that. But it's not like I can give up on my one source of hope because of these negative side effects. As long as there's a chance HRT does anything meaningful in the future, I'm stuck with having to suffer through this.
HRT is supposed to be something empowering, but for me it's been the absolute opposite. Nothing I've ever done in my life has made me feel this helpless and hopeless, and seeing how good it's been for the people who get lucky with it makes the gut punch hit even harder.
How do I cope?

So, I (24M) fell in love with my best friend (30F). I met my best friend last summer who to me had to have been one of the most emotionally intelligent person I’ve ever met. Since I wasn’t socially smart, I was hardly able to make friends… so she ended up becoming someone I became very attached to and depended on. Definitely unhealthy. After months of talking… I absolutely fell in love with her and I could’ve swore she absolutely liked me to… and I’m talking head over heels (I’m still socially blind but other people around me said they could see it) so I shot my shot and got turned down. After being turned down… it felt like she just used me for attention… so I completely cut her off. I haven’t seen nor spoke to her in 3 months… until today. I was so exhausted from work and when she made a joke about being just friends… I accidentally unintentionally agreed to it, when In reality I don’t have any intentions of being just friends with her. I’d like to be more than friends with her. I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT MEAN TO SAY YES. (I was just exhausted and wasn’t paying attention) Anyways… she got way too excited when I accidentally said yes. I absolutely adore everything about her. I enjoy her smile, her company, and well basically everything about her. To me, being around her gave me the warmest and most comfortable feeling ever. Which is why it really pains me to say this but I don’t really want to be her friend because I’m looking for something more. I’m not sure how much it’ll actually hurt her but I know for sure this is going to hurt me. (Like a lot). I’m thinking of completely cutting her her off… though I really don’t want to and would do anything not to. What should I do? Should I let her think we’re friends? (I’ll be very cold and distant). Should I be her friend? (In hopes by some miracle…. she falls I love with me). Or should I completely cut her off. Or is there possibly another option?

My library shows the DLC as unavailiable because its already been purchased. On the PlayStation store online I go to the DLC and it says I've already purchased the DLC.

The game website that's linked to my PS5 account, when you go to their store and trying to purchase the beginners pack or high isle goes to PS store and shows as purchased.
Upon install, linking PS5 account to game account, game account shows no subscription or purchase. clicking show purchase history under account shows the transaction receipts. it's just the confirmation of the software actually attaching to my account after being bought that's broken,.

For Grill 'em up, you're on a building rooftop, with a tray to your left and a grill and some coal to your right. Sossigs walk around on the street (which can be a set height away from the player) and you have to kill sossigs to get a little hotdog (delivered via being yeeted onto the tray) that you grill for points. I know something similar exists in the meatmas dome but in this version you just gotta worry about grilling as much as you can in the time limit. Grilling range would be the same as Grill 'em up, except instead of shooting, you're using a golf club to hit grenades at sossigs, like Top Golf.

Hey everyone,
I've been using my gears for roughly over a year now, however I soon came to realize that I'll need to upgrade them soon. I personally like LAPG and 5.11, but I'm open to hearing everyone else suggestions as well.
Right now these are my duty gears I typically wear on the daily:

1. LAPG Core Cargo Pants
2. LAPG Lightweight 8" Side-Zip Duty Boots
3. 5.11 1.5" Duty Belt
4. Key-Ring Holder
5. Streamlight Stylus

I've been looking to upgrade to the waterproof boots from 5.11 and LAPG as well, and looking to get BDU/TDU pants as well from the same two companies for reinforcement as well as water resistance. I may also upgrade the belt as well, but I just may keeping it in hindsight.
I just want to be fair as well to my current gears as well - they work fine, but I'll need something that are a bit more weather-resistant, as well as comfort.

I've finished BG1 thrice, SoD twice but never have I played BG2 from start to finish, let alone touching ToB. Something about BG just turn me into a perfectionist of sorts, not for playing the game efficiently but to have the most dense and enjoyable playthrough. So far, I've only been using difficulty and rule altering mods and some quest packs (that doesn't really change the original content in any significant way), but I've heard some mods that people frequently recommend like Ascension and Wheels of Prophecy. Apparently they make SoA and its expansion much better, but I've never actually finished either. I am curious about how the original game will turn out, but I also prefer having a better experience overall. So, is it worth it to install such mods?

I bought me 2007 fit sport with 90k miles or so (now almost 120k) and these are still the current tires (both 7-8 y/o) - goodyear eagle sport. the rear are in fine condition but the front are well past worn and I definitely need to replace them.
Should I do all four and possibly some sort of alignment/rotation? Or just replace the front two. see pics for reference. I definitely get a dull whirring sound from the wheels when turning left only and not right. fwiw car bought in NY and suffered some north-specific malaise i.e. the left front axle snapped at an intersection due to corrosion inside it due to the salt they use (iirc this was a common problem specifically for GEs)

I know there's a million ideas on how to make netrunner better, but I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring. I came up with an idea for a system that relies on percentage dice to successfully hack, with the idea being I choose a percentage that the netrunner has to roll up to in order to be successful.
The idea is NET actions are equal to the amount of times they can roll per round. Say the percentage to hack is 150%, and the netrunner has 3 NET actions. They roll a 15%, 78%, and 44% for a total of 139% progress. So they'd need to take another round to be successful, and eventually roll past 150%. Obviously a pretty easy thing to hack.
Throughout the percentages, there can be files and other architecture components. So instead of building an elaborate architecture, let's say 75% is a file containing information the players need, 150% controls security cameras, and 300% is to gain control of the architecture.
Penalties can be added in the form of thresholds. Say they have a roll under 20%, then they suffer some damage. Lower thresholds can be used for more severe damage/stat decreases. On extremely difficult high-security systems, this can include straight up flatlining on a very low roll.
As for actions, the base actions stay the same, but the attacking/navigation would be changed slightly. Actions would obviously replace one dice roll since that represents the total actions per round. Pathfinder would tell the netrunner what percentage they need to achieve, but I haven't thought of a good replacement for Sliding or Zapping.
Programs can be boosts to the rolls, such as an ability to add a die to a roll, adding an additional roll during a round, a shield to prevent damage x number of times, or add a flat number to a roll, etc.
Overall, I think this will help streamline the netrunner process in my games while still making it cool without being tedious. This should keep other players engaged instead of having to break up a battle or tense situation for NET actions.
This idea essentially just removes having to deal with Black Ice and building/keeping track of a NET architecture, which I and my players always found somewhat not enjoyable. Let me know what you think, there's still more I need to refine but hopefully it's a decent idea!

Hi, I am considering an x13 for my daughter because she would very much like a touch-screen gaming laptop with tablet features (drawing/touch-screen gaming/light/portable). I would, however, also like her to have a more powerful desk set-up. So I'm torn between getting the xg mobile as a desktop replacement or a separate gaming pc. My main concern is weather or not the xg mobile + x13 is a powerful and reliable enough combo for a desktop replacement. If any of you guys have any experience using this combo as a desktop replacement please let me know how it was/is for you. I am planning to get her the rtx 4070 version so she has a little more performance on the go and the rtx 4090 xg mobile to go with a 4k monitor. Thank you all.

Hi, I have my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 connected to my TV (Philips 50PUS7906/12) via HDMI and then the TV connected to the Sony HT-S40R 5.1 with HDMI ARC. It lets me use 5.1 surround only with certain apps, like the windows Netflix app and the Dolby Access test videos. My TV actually gets a pop-up showing that my PC is using Dolby Audio when those apps are using it, alongside the resoultion and display settings being used by the PC (something like: HDMI 3: Dolby Audio - HDR 2160p UHD), but games or VLC seem to be locked to regular stereo audio.
If I could make the TV register the PC as always using Dolby Audio everything would work fine. I've tried with the Dolby Access app but I don't get the Spatial Audio "Dolby atmos for home theater" option. I've also tried using APO Driver + FX configurator to set up dolby drivers but, even though I get the option and the Dolby tab, I can't select the "Dolby Digital" format in advanced settings, giving me the "Format is not supported by this device" error.
I've also been trying different Audio Output settings on the TV, from which:
-PCM: Uses all speakers, but seems to use Front and Surround speakers for the same (Front Left and Left Surround activated at the same for all Left side sounds), also seems to use the Center sounds on the Left side speakers.
- Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus: Uses stereo (only Front Lef/Right) for everything except Dolby Audio specific apps.

My pregnant fiancé and I went in to trade in a car beginning of the month. Told them our EXACT budget for the monthly payments($250). Found a great car. They guaranteed us they’ll work with us and came back with paper work to sign and all seemed well with a monthly payment of $296 and we drove off with the car after selling our old one to them…except the financing..the guy told us they don’t need pay stubs and they’ll figure out the financing in a couple weeks and to come back to sign then.
Well we stop by in a couple weeks after calling to verify that the paper work is ready to sign and our AC isn’t working right being stuck on cold so we get that fixed (we live an hour out). We get there and wait 2 hours before actually being seen and it’s a new financing lady. Within 2 minutes she tells us they need pay stubs to which we informed we don’t have cause we just moved here which they knew previously and told us it’s alright, but we do have jobs. Nope doesn’t cut it. Well alright we get the car back and the AC still doesn’t work properly being stuck on hot now. We drive back home.
Then we talk to the sales guy that helped us multiple times about how everything’s approved don’t worry etc. We had to postpone a couple times cause of the crazy weather. Then finally we’re able to come back and what do we find out after again waiting for an hour 1/2 being the only ones in the lobby?
Low and behold the finance lady tells us we’re actually going to have to pay $496 a month and paperwork wasn’t approved. But what about the multiple sales guys we talked to 3 days before guaranteeing everything? Nope.
We mention we don’t want the car if it’s that high.
Her response? “Well we sold your old car so you don’t have transportation.” Which we did we brought a second car.
4-5 hours later we leave with a $318 a month payment plan rather than the $296 we signed paperwork for and we’re told multiple times we’d get.

I was playing a new game that has a lot of static bright colors and that’s when I noticed the slight burn-in. I could see the HUD from another game that I’ve played a TON of over the span of the TV’s life cycle. From what I seen it looked like just the HUD on the bottom left of the screen. I could see the health bar, character photo, etc; all faint and not super glaring, but again it’s there.
I was just curious if I got the bad end of the stick with my hours or if this was typical. I bought the TV in December 2020. I got a little under 2 1/2 years of use before I noticed burn-in. For $1500-1600, I don’t know if I got a good deal or not. lol.
