2023.06.09 07:12 Litt_Kiddie New Music Friday (06/09/2023) + ❗ Important announcements ❗

G'day and welcome to NMF#137!

Important: Reddit API changes and our plan of action.

As I'm sure most of you have heard, Reddit is making some extremely anti-consumer changes to their API, causing the end of popular third party app Apollo, with more likely to fall. For more information, here's our full post regarding the situation, and you can read Apollo's statement here, it's worth the read.
The Reddit CEO u/spez will be doing an AMA tomorrow to talk about the "latest API updates, including accessibility, mod bots, and third-party mod tools." Notably, pricing and third party app support is missing from that list but it's a good sign either way. You can check that out here.

Here's our current plan of action:
Both of these measures will possibly (likely) continue past the 48 hour blackout period, pending any action from Reddit or extreme consensus from this community. We want to make a strong statement, we could stay dark indefinitely, though we certainly don't want to. We also do care deeply for this community but that being said, go somewhere else during the blackout period. Stay away from Reddit, it's probably good for you, I know I'm overdue for a detox.
To keep the community going through this period, however long it ends up being, JOIN THE DISCORD. It would be great to get that more active, so please - share anything and everything dubstep related there! Throw random thoughts and ideas there so that the activity continues.
Also - if we are still dark by the time next Friday rocks around, NMF will be available exclusively on discord and on a new blog website graciously put together by u/jmabeebiz2: This stuff is super cool so massive shout out again to u/jmabeebiz2. The spotify playlist will be maintained like usual.
Thank you everyone for the support and trust as we navigate this tricky chapter - let's hope things change for the better. Modmail will stay open for any questions and concerns and also feel free to ping or DM myself or divided_eye on Discord.

Thanks for your attention, now for what you all came for, the wub wubs :)

Did I miss anything? Provide new music (from this week) in the comments below, so that this thread can be updated. Did you miss anything? Previous New Music Friday posts are available here and last weeks playlist is here.
Be sure to follow the dubstep NMF playlist, updated weekly with all the contents of the post. Or, if you prefer something a little more hand-curated, try u/BahaMan69's wubly, or my own Hypers playlist.
Come and hang out on discord! but like for real because you won't be hanging out here :p
It's been real! Hopefully we'll see each other here like normal soon :)

2023.06.09 07:12 ursa-minor-beta42 group therapy member asked "why we are like this"

specifically it was about the people we fall in love with versus the people we don't like or don't trust, and how we push those that we love far away from us.
she's probably a good ten years older than me, I'm 22. i told her that it's probably because the people we loved and who were supposed to love and protect us were the ones who hurt us the most, so now our sense of "this person is good for me" is heavily shifted and we tend to trust those who hurt us more, since ethats what we know.
the way she looked at me, with a sudden understanding and sadness at the same time... broke my heart. i know we feel the same thing, but just seeing her, being a bunch older than me, so clueless and sad... on one hand i was, i am glad i could help clear up that bit of confusion (our therapist didn't intervene so i suppose i wasn't wrong), on the other hand i just lost a little piece of hope, because i know I'll have to deal with this shit for the rest of my life. it won't be over, it won't get better - i just learn to cope and manage.

Rip 2.4T....Hello R package
My 2002 2.4T blew it's camshaft and I sadly had to say goodbye. As much as it breaks my heart to thinking about Veronica decomposing in a scrapyard, I'm very excited to fix up this 2005 S60-R. This vehicle has had three owners. The first owner has modified the car. The second owner was a friend of mine that beat the shit out of it and destroyed the bumpers. He then sold it to a guy who fixed up some issues. I just happened to find the car on Facebook and felt the need to reclaim it. Gonna pick it up this weekend and I'm excited to start a new chapter. I swear P2s are a drug you can never quit once you start

2023.06.09 07:11 No_Variety_4997 I fuckin love this game

Here I am, half asleep. It's 12:30am. I'm sealing my bunker and transferring and organizing loot while making sure all doors are shut. Y'know, average rust shit you do right before you log off.
Just got back from a really juicy oil rig run, got 2 airdrops from military crate + elite crates + locked crate. Absolutely filled to the brim with loot.
Now I've been fucking with my neighbors for the better part of the last 3 hours. Stole 2 AK kits from them, killed them farming wood w a chainsaw w a full inventory, etc.
They turned to roofcamping with L96 and that's when things went sour. I started talking shit and calling them roofcamping pussies, basically just run of the mill rust shit talking.
They had their large furnaces pumping for the last hour or two. I knew the raid was coming, but I'm too fuckin tired and need to get some sleep.
As I'm sealing my bunker, I hear ppsh boom ppsh boom. 2 rocketers, 1 on their raid base roofcamping.
I'm pretty fucked, but I make my way to my roof with a SAR kit, making sure to close every single door behind me. Get a quick glance at the raiders, wait for a rocket to get shot, and drop down on to the back side of my base. Silent. Like a ninja.
I drop down to make my stand, I don't have a shooting floor, so gotta take this fight to them. I'm on the ground crouching around and kill 1 rocketer shooting him in the back. Instantly do a 180° and turn around to run around to the other side of my base. Kill the second, but I'm like 5 HP now.
I'm 2/3rds of the way thru winning this raid....then the roofcamper just nails me with L96. I'm fed up.
Killed two, but that fuckin roofcamper. I'm salty as fuck, spawn back in my core, and they're 1 wall away. Still 1 garage door and 1 hqm wall away from bunker core.
I'm silent, just sitting. Watching. Waiting. More importantly, listening. Footsteps all around my base. No signs of counters...yet. My duo partner had just logged, I was not far behind until this raid started.
I was THIS close to just giving up. The bunkers already sealed. I've already been "raided" twice, but they never got into the bunker either time.
I finally hear someone countering, custom smg and SAR shots. The raiders are full metal AK and have a raid base with beds. Counters seemingly win. Chaos breaks out.
Counters get countered, raiders kill a bunch, counters kill some raiders, original counters come back. I'm just sitting in my bunker silently waiting for the right time to make my move.
It's a warzone outside, and it's now or never. I needed to make my move.
I break my twig half wall, busting open my bunker. There's 1 garage door between me and the mayhem outside. I grab a building plan, hammer, and a stack of stone. I open the garage door and hope for the best. Run out but ass naked with a building plan, hammer, stone, and seal the breach.
The raiders are still roofcamping on their raid base, but they were distracted by counters and I was able to have 3 seconds to seal. They immediately shoot my newly placed stone wall.
I built another wall, behind the outer most wall, upgraded that to hqm. Spent the next 5 mins repairing everything, crafted 6 more garage doors to replace the ones that were blown up, and sit around for another 5 mins or so. It's quiet outside.
Ran over to my neighbors base, said ggs. They were so salty. They were blaming the counters. Sure, the counters saved me ass. But I played it clean too. Didn't leave any doors open, sealed efficiently, and killed a few off the rip to buy some more time for counters to show up.
Not really a point to this post, but that was just the most exhilarating moment in rust I've had in a while.
I've only been onlined 3 times in 1.6k hours in rust. It's fuckin awesome, no other game can match the intensity. Heart was beating out of my chest. Mind racing. What a night.
Surely, I'll wake up offlined tomorrow now tho. Drew alooottt of attention to my base, but hey, that's rust. Whoever does choose to offline will have to spend 37 rockets if they raid the most efficient way possible.
If ya made it this far and have any beef with neighbors, give em an online. See what happens. It's by far the most intense and fun gaming experience you can have.

My fiancée just collected her passport containing her vignette!! 🥳🎉
Our timeline was as follows (applying from South Korea):
Application submitted: 23 May

ECO Email: 2 June
Passport ready for collection: 9 June
So 9 working days total (accounting for the bank holiday)!!!
Honestly thank you so much to everyone who goes out of their way to help others such as ourselves through this stressful process, we genuinely couldn’t have done it without this subreddit.
A final question that we’re wondering: Will my fiancée be able to use the eGates when she arrives in the UK? She has done so in the past since she is a South Korean national but just wondering if its any different if you’re arriving on a fiancée visa.
Thank you all again so much!! ❤️

A 16 year long incredible and versatile music career. Endless Summer Vacation is such a great album, filled with feel good songs and as well as heart wrenching ones. A great step in maturity.
My favorite and her best in my opinion? Bangerz. No skips or fillers. Excellent production, lyricism, and vocals. A crazy, controversial, but fun era. The album had great features as well. Every feature elevated each song and felt as though they belonged there.

2023.06.09 07:08 vikkingss Batman Begins"

Batman Begins

Released in 2005, "Batman Begins" is a superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan. Serving as a reboot to the Batman film franchise, the movie delves into the origins of the iconic caped crusader, providing a gritty and realistic portrayal of the character. Starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, the film takes audiences on an intense journey as Wayne transforms from a troubled billionaire to the legendary Dark Knight. With a perfect balance of action, suspense, and character development, "Batman Begins" sets the stage for a new era of superhero storytelling.

"Batman Begins" begins with a young Bruce Wayne witnessing the brutal murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, in Gotham City. Consumed by rage and guilt, he disappears for years, eventually returning to Gotham as an adult. Played by Christian Bale, Bruce is determined to fight crime and restore justice to his crime-ridden city. However, he realizes that his skills alone are not enough.

Bruce seeks guidance from Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson), a member of the mysterious League of Shadows. Under Ducard's tutelage, Bruce hones his combat skills, both physical and mental, and learns to harness his fear. He discovers the importance of balance and restraint in the pursuit of justice, ultimately rejecting the League's extremist methods.

Returning to Gotham, Bruce takes on the mantle of Batman, a symbol of fear designed to strike terror into the hearts of criminals. He allies with his trusted butler Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine) and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), a technological genius who provides him with advanced equipment.

As Batman, Bruce faces off against the corrupt Gotham City establishment, including crime lord Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) and the deceitful Dr. Jonathan Crane (Cillian Murphy), also known as Scarecrow. Crane uses a fear-inducing toxin to exploit people's worst nightmares, further destabilizing the city. Batman must overcome his own fears to combat this threat.

Meanwhile, Bruce rekindles a childhood friendship with Rachel Dawes (Katie Holmes), now an assistant district attorney. Their relationship is tested when Rachel discovers Bruce's alter ego and struggles with the ethics of vigilantism. Bruce's dual life also puts a strain on his connection with his childhood friend, police officer Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman), who becomes an ally in Batman's mission to save Gotham.

Together, Batman and Gordon uncover a larger conspiracy led by the League of Shadows, now revealed to be an ancient vigilante organization aiming to destroy Gotham. Led by Ra's al Ghul (Ken Watanabe), the League plans to use a microwave emitter to vaporize the city's water supply, causing mass hysteria and destruction.

In a climactic battle, Batman must confront Ra's al Ghul, who turns out to be Ducard using a decoy. With the help of Gordon, Batman manages to save Gotham by diverting the emitter's destruction and defeating Ra's al Ghul. However, the battle takes a toll on Batman's public image, as he is blamed for the destruction caused by the League's assault.

The movie ends with Batman establishing a partnership with Gordon and promising to defend Gotham against future threats. Bruce decides to use his resources to rebuild Wayne Manor as a base for his vigilantism. With the foundation laid, the stage is set for the emergence of more villains and the continued evolution of Batman's character in the sequel.

"Batman Begins" rejuvenated the Batman film franchise, departing from the campy style of previous installments and embracing a darker and more realistic tone. Christopher Nolan's direction and Christian Bale's captivating performance brought a fresh and compelling take on the iconic character. The film successfully explores Bruce Wayne's journey from a tormented soul to a symbol of hope, while also laying the groundwork for the complex and rich world of Gotham City. With its engaging plot, stunning visuals, and strong character development, "Batman Begins" set the stage for a new era of superhero storytelling and cemented itself as a landmark film in the genre.

Batman Begins," directed by Christopher Nolan, is a highly acclaimed superhero film that explores the origin story of one of the most iconic comic book characters, Batman. Released in 2005, the movie received widespread critical acclaim and was praised for its gritty and realistic take on the beloved superhero. However, like any film, it also had its share of both positive and negative aspects.

Positive Side

Gritty and Realistic Approach:
"Batman Begins" stands out among other superhero films for its gritty and realistic portrayal of Batman's world. The movie delves into the psychological complexities of Bruce Wayne and his transformation into the caped crusader. It provides a grounded and believable origin story, showcasing the character's vulnerabilities and inner conflicts. This approach resonated with audiences, who appreciated the film's mature and nuanced take on the superhero genre.

Stellar Cast and Performances:
The movie boasts an exceptional ensemble cast that brings the characters to life. Christian Bale shines as Bruce Wayne/Batman, delivering a captivating and brooding performance. The supporting cast, including Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, and Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul, deliver memorable performances that add depth and authenticity to the story. Each actor brings their A-game, elevating the film to new heights.

Engaging Storytelling:
"Batman Begins" weaves a compelling narrative that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish. The film explores Bruce Wayne's journey from a grief-stricken young man to a masked vigilante seeking justice. The screenplay, co-written by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer, effectively blends action, drama, and character development, creating a rich and multi-layered story. The non-linear storytelling adds intrigue and suspense, ensuring that viewers remain invested throughout the film.

The positive or negative side of the movie

The movie boasts breathtaking visuals and mesmerizing cinematography. Nolan's signature visual style is on full display, with stunning set designs, intense action sequences, and breathtaking landscapes. The film's dark and gritty aesthetic perfectly captures the essence of Gotham City and complements the somber tone of the story. The visual effects are seamless and enhance the overall cinematic experience.

Memorable Score:
Composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, the film's score is a standout element that contributes to its success. The music complements the tone and atmosphere of each scene, heightening the emotional impact. The iconic theme for Batman became instantly recognizable and remains one of the most memorable superhero themes to date.

Negative Side

Slow Pacing:
One criticism of "Batman Begins" is its slow pacing in the first act. The film takes its time to establish Bruce Wayne's backstory and his transformation into Batman, which might feel sluggish for some viewers expecting a faster-paced superhero movie. However, this deliberate approach is essential for character development and lays the foundation for the remainder of the story.

Lack of Memorable Villain:
While the film excels in portraying the evolution of Batman, some critics argue that it falls short in delivering a truly memorable villain. Ra's al Ghul, played by Liam Neeson, serves as the main antagonist, but his character lacks the depth and impact of other iconic Batman villains. However, it's worth noting that the film's primary focus is on Bruce Wayne's journey, and the lack of a standout villain can be seen as a deliberate choice.

Limited Screen Time for Supporting Characters:
Due to the film's emphasis on Bruce Wayne's character development, some of the supporting characters, such as Jim Gordon and Alfred, receive relatively limited screen time. While they make a significant impact in their respective roles, some viewers may have desired more exploration and development of these characters.

Exposition-heavy Dialogue:
In certain scenes, "Batman Begins" relies heavily on exposition-heavy dialogue to explain the plot and the motivations of various characters. While this is necessary to establish the complex narrative, some viewers might find these moments overly verbose and prefer a more subtle approach to storytelling.

Dark and Gritty Tone Throughout:
While the dark and gritty tone of "Batman Begins" is often celebrated, it may not appeal to all audiences. Some viewers may prefer a lighter and more humor-driven superhero movie, and the somber atmosphere of this film may feel too intense or devoid of levity.

In conclusion, "Batman Begins" is a highly praised film that successfully reinvigorated the Batman franchise. Its gritty and realistic approach, stellar performances, engaging storytelling, stunning visuals, and memorable score contribute to its positive reception. However, criticisms regarding the slow pacing, lack of a standout villain, limited screen time for supporting characters, exposition-heavy dialogue, and the consistently dark and gritty tone are aspects that some viewers may consider as drawbacks. Ultimately, "Batman Begins" remains a significant and influential film that laid the foundation for the successful Dark Knight trilogy.

"Batman Begins" is a highly acclaimed superhero film that revitalized the Batman franchise and left a lasting impact on the genre. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie's positive aspects far outweigh any negatives, making it a must-watch for fans of both superhero films and quality filmmaking.

The film's greatest strength lies in its gritty and realistic approach to the Batman character. It delves deep into Bruce Wayne's psyche, exploring his transformation from a grief-stricken young man to a symbol of justice. This grounded portrayal resonates with audiences and sets "Batman Begins" apart from other superhero films that tend to rely on fantastical elements.

The stellar cast and their performances further elevate the film. Christian Bale shines as Bruce Wayne, portraying the character's inner turmoil and determination with skill and intensity. The supporting cast, including Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, and Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul, deliver standout performances that add depth and authenticity to the story.

The engaging storytelling captivates viewers from start to finish. The film weaves a compelling narrative that balances action, drama, and character development. Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer's screenplay effectively explores the complexities of Bruce Wayne's journey while incorporating non-linear storytelling to keep the audience intrigued.

Visually, "Batman Begins" is a treat for the eyes. Nolan's masterful direction, along with stunning cinematography and set designs, brings Gotham City to life. The dark and gritty aesthetic perfectly suits the tone of the story, creating an immersive experience for viewers. The seamless visual effects further enhance the film's cinematic appeal.

The score, composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, deserves special mention. The music complements the film's atmosphere, heightening the emotional impact of each scene. The iconic theme for Batman has become synonymous with the character and remains one of the most memorable superhero themes in cinematic history.

While "Batman Begins" received widespread acclaim, it does have a few minor drawbacks. The slow pacing in the first act may test the patience of some viewers seeking instant gratification. Additionally, the lack of a truly memorable villain and limited screen time for supporting characters, due to the focus on Bruce Wayne's journey, may leave some viewers wanting more.

Overall, "Batman Begins" is a groundbreaking film that revitalized the Batman franchise and set a new standard for superhero movies. Its gritty and realistic approach, stellar performances, engaging storytelling, stunning visuals, and memorable score make it a standout entry in the genre. Despite a few minor criticisms, the film's positive aspects solidify its place as a beloved and influential piece of cinema.

2023.06.09 07:07 No_Mood_7461 You know where to find me

I knew the moment I walked in the door something was off. A half hour later, listening to you, I thought, "so this is how it ends". Was the kiss you asked for a kiss goodbye? I know you have to go there, and I know it has nothing to do with me. I know you didn't want or plan to hurt me, I know you regret that I am a casualty. I don't hate you for it. I'm so sad thinking that you might get hurt again and there's nothing I can do to protect you. I hope that you find everything you're looking for. I want you to be happy with or without me. If you find you've made a mistake, you know where to find me. I will rest easy knowing I never hurt you, never lied to you, never betrayed your trust, and always unreservedly gave you all of myself. It hurts but I know it's not my fault. I honor the choices you are making. It's your adventure. I wasn't going to say it because you've said it has little meaning for you and you don't know if you've ever felt it, but I do. I love you enough to let you go. It is mortifying to think I'm the one you were struggling to tell the truth to when I watched you agonizing in indecision? Doubt? Confusion? I don't want to be the one to cause you pain just by loving you. I will not try to hold you back from seeking your heart's desire. If you don't find it in her I hope you recognize that you already had it. Should you need someone to pick up the pieces you know where to find me. I hope to always be your safe harbor in a storm. Love, Me

2023.06.09 07:07 pownied I ruined everything

I feel like i ruined everything with the girl ive been seeing lately. I wad hesitant on dating her when i first met her but she kept showing me love and affection and made me feel like i was special and important. I started to get sexual with her cause i took her flirts in a weird way and our relationship started off sexually. I then asked her out during the heat of the moment and regretted it after. I kept lying to myself telling myself that its gonna be ok and that i really did love her and stuff. It didnt feel better that her friends are my friends and i always feel like i will fuck everything up somehow and i did. My fear of me using her and leading her on and stuff made me want to slow things down, but when i did i started seeing her more like a really close friend. This girl had a crush on me and we only knew eachother for a month now. When i told her i felt like we were friends it broke her heart. Now she talks about not wanting to date anymore and she ghosted me and never told me goodnight like we usually do. I cant sleep. When i try i can only dream of her. Everything we had now i feel like is gone and that i dont mean anymore special than her normal friends and she no longer will put effort in our relationship like she did before all this happened. I love her in a way i cannot understand she means so much to me and has made me and my life happier and i want to date her but I don’t have the feelings to date her atm I don’t really know her and i want to get to know her before i wanted to date her again. She took things the wrong way i think i dont know. Im a jackass now i ruined her hope for love and the things that made our relationship special in the first place. She made me feel safe and secure and open, but i regret being too open now. Im broken hearted and so is she…

I have many heart leaf philos absolutely thriving all over my house. I cannot keep a micans alive. Those who have both, what would you say the differences are in their care? I usually have my micans in lower light, but water, humidity and substrate are the same. My micans usually end up yellowing and shrivelling up over time. Thank you!

2023.06.09 07:06 SparksAndSpyro Thoughts after being gay for a year

I've had a bit of a weird sexual history, but here's the short story. I am almost 27. For the first 25ish years (or so) I thought I was asexual because I wasn't really sexually attracted to anyone and masturbation always felt more like a chore than something I enjoyed. I'm not sure exactly what changed, but around a year and a half ago I started feeling "attracted" to guys. This scared me a little at first because I had already come to accept my identity as ace, but I'm a pretty open person so I decided to lean into it and figure out more about myself.
After a few months, I became sexually active and started to hook up with guys off Grindr. Honestly, this was (and often still is) a weird experience because I went into it fully expecting things to be rather straightforward and transactional. I'd always heard that gay men were very promiscuous and just wanted to have sex. I thought it would be as simple as finding someone that shared attraction with you, swapping pics, exchanging information, and meeting up. I quickly learned that while this is how it works sometimes, it's often much more complicated. I wont lie, I took it personally the first few times I got cat fished, stood up, ghosted, etc. I thought there was something wrong with me, and that's why men were flaking. Eventually I realized the truth: guys use Grindr for a lot of different reasons, and hooking up is only one of those reasons. Lots of guys are disingenuous and they often times let their own insecurities get in the way.
I've also realized what a profound emotional and psychological impact having sexual urges has had on me. I've always been a very independent person. I was taught to be kind and open to others, but to always rely on myself. But looking back at this last year, I realize that a lot of my feelings—most of them bad: disappointment, shame, loneliness, etc.—stemmed from desiring sex. This was pretty out of character; it's not like I wanted to feel this way or wanted my emotions tied to my ability to attract others. Moreover, it made focusing on and dedicating time to things like work/school much more difficult. I found my thoughts drifting a lot. I also found myself struggling for the first time with porn consumption. Before, porn was something I maybe watched just to rub one out every few months or something to get the biological urge out of the way; but recently it's something that often pops into my head daily. Even just going about my day, I actually find myself seeing attractive people and thinking about how I'd like to have sex with them! Wtf, I'm not lying when I say I always thought that was just a TV/comedy trope that was exaggerated for dramatic purposes.
On a day to day basis, I may not realize what an impact these little intrusive thoughts have on my life, but taking a step back and comparing it to my life before, I realize that being attracted to men (or really anyone in general) is very distracting and time consuming lol. Over all, I think I've grown quite a bit over the last year, and I've learned a lot about myself. But I have to say, overall, this shit sucks. Being attracted to others and the weird ways it affects my thinking/behavior is awful. If I could hit a button and return to being asexual, I would do it in a heart beat. I miss being happy with myself, feeling focused and determined, and the (perhaps false) sense of security in being able to rely on myself for my own needs.
What are your thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this (maybe the reverse)?

2023.06.09 07:05 globalalloc Episode where house passes out?

Which episode of house MD is it where house collapses to the ground? I saw it once years ago but can't find it. I think he collapses because a patient infects him by pathogens in the air.
It is not the episode where house stops his own heart by meditating it is not the episode where cuddy drugs house to get wilson to drive him to his dads funeral it is not the episode where wilson saws houses cane almost in half, causing it to break and house to fall to the ground.
Any help would be appriciated.

2023.06.09 07:05 Pookahbee [LFA] My semi-punky Vampire character

[LFA] My semi-punky Vampire character
First time trying this so, hopefully it's not too confusing. This has just been a character concept that has been stuck in my head for weeks.
The overall look and details are kinda vague because I'm not that great when it comes to facial features and I'm indecisive with hairstyles. She keeos her hair on the shorter side, but style can be dealer's choice.
There also weren't a lot of options to have fangs.
Body-wise, I imagine her being somewhat on the chubby side. Unfortunately the character creators don't really have a good way to make it look right, and I wasn't able to find a reference that matches my mental image, but I'm not gonna nitpick what is effectively a gift.
Personality-wise, she is fairly calm, cool and collected. She went to college for business to take over a portion of her father's company once she graduated. The baseball bat is because she has a passion for the game, and isn't against getting physical, especially for a little revenge.

Armaf Le Femme Perfume for Women
Armaf Le Femme Perfume is a harmonious blend of captivating notes that will enchant your senses. The top notes of fruity accords create a vibrant and refreshing opening, while the heart notes of floral bouquets envelop you in a delicate embrace. Finally, the base notes of warm amber and vanilla provide a sensual and lingering finish. It's a fragrance that embodies the essence of femininity.

2023.06.09 07:04 Sad_Stick_6432 I miss my dog.

I miss my dog. I miss her everyday of my life. I thought I'd be over her death sooner but I was wrong. Her death anniversary will be coming up in a month, and I've felt like shit. Every night I go to bed and think of the memories I hold with her. I think of hugging her & petting her. I have dreams about seeing her again & giving her a big hug. She was the sweetest dog ever. She didn't really like other dogs, but she loved people. She was friendly & calm, she hardly ever barked, and loved giving & recieving affection. She was a shoulder to cry on when I felt awful. It was if she knew I was sad, so she'd curl up next to me and lick me as if to tell me everything was gonna be okay. It might sound weird but she was more than a dog to me, she was family. She was almost like a human that couldnt speak. She was my best friend. I don't know how I'm still going on without her. I know it might sound silly but she was special to me. I never knew a dog as loving and caring as her, and I probably never will again. There's tears falling down my face as I type this. I didn't get to say a proper goodbye either. She was curled up in my bed with me the night she died, and she must've gathered all her strength to jump off my bed because she was very weak and old. She walked into the kitchen & my mom must've heard her. My mom comforted her through her last moments but I was fast asleep. I woke up to hear my mom calling the vet to tell them she had died, and my heart exploded. I didn't go with them to take her to the vet, I was in too much shock that at first I barely showed emotion over the situation. I still think about this day. I wonder if she left my bed because she didn't want me to see her die. I wonder where she is right now, and I wonder if she comes down to comfort me without me noticing. I hope those rainbow bridge poems and the saying "All dogs go to heaven" are true. Hold everyone you love close, especially your pets.
