Intelligence elden ring

So, I saw a couple videos on the interwebs about a dope looking game that recently released along with my coworkers talking to me about it so i decided to check out a couple videos and im really interested.
I know its dumb to come onto reddit and ask for online peoples opinions on what to do with my money, but as someone who hasn't played any diablo games before, hadn't heard of the PoE game in all these comments im reading until 20 minutes ago, and all these others games, I don't really know what Im getting into, and I got hell paying attention to youtube videos.
I played elden ring after never playing a souls game and loved it, 100% it within 3 weeks of buying it, and was an amazing game. So I am in no way against trying a new game in a genre I haven't really ever touched before, I just wanted some more seasoned peoples opinions if you got the time to give it. Thanks!

Would love some advice- I am incredibly new to gaming.
I have only played two games (Hollow Knight and Elden Ring) and use them as breaks between schoolwork. I put 200+ hours into Elden Ring and 100+ hours into Hollow Knight and fucking adored both of them despite my abysmal gaming abilities. Any game similar to those two would be awesome, I'm having a hard time shifting through the sheer amount of options that I seem to have. My apologies if the request is too broad!

If you have played other FromSoftware games and enjoyed them, the answer is yes. If you haven’t, just do a little research! I used to play Code Vein on the PS4, but for maybe around 10-20 hours before I moved to the Xbox. I finally bought Elden Ring after hearing about all the rage for it. I played it for about 10 hours and I do like it. It is beautiful, but boring. I don't know, there's just something about Elden Ring that I can't quite put my finger on that makes me sleepy. I remember having a blast with Code Vein. The thing is, I read that people can play Elden Ring up to +500 hours, but it seems much shorter for Code Vein, around +160 hours, maybe? Should I buy Code Vein again?

Windows 10 16 GB RAM Intel i7 10700, 2.90 GHz Tried on 2k resolution @ 2560x1440p and @ 1920x1080 as the latter is what the 2060 super is optimized for.
On 1920x1080 the performance is 'acceptable' and getting at least 50 frames in most areas other than the big pretty part of Limgrave it dips... but more importantly I got to King Godrick in Stormveil Castle and I get a whopping 20 fps at times during his fight and it makes playing unbearable.
I refunded this game 1 year ago because of the absolutely horrendous performance... please help. I've done some of the fixes like put Elden Ring in High Performance graphics setting... but this is just unacceptable for actually enjoying the game.

So I bought this game just on a whim. I guess I know SOME things. It’s an RPG, and it’s fantasy im guessing lol.
I’ve watched no gameplay, no reviews and no trailers. I just had a friend say it’s good, and he’s never wrong. Plus it’s on sale.
So are there anything’s I should know before jumping in? Or should I just go in blind like I’m doing?
I have experience with games like Elden ring, Skyrim, and Witcher 3. I was told it’s much different than those games. So I’m excited to see what I’ve been missing.

Without regard to survivability and efficiency, and without considering the DOT skills, which skill has the highest damage output with one strike?
I saw a video of a Bone Spirit build necro and that was impressive.
Reason for this thread: I want to make a one punch man build (like that in Elden Ring/Dark Souls)

I've been in 2-3 different group of friends and some of them have played it but nobody actually wants to sit down and just complete a playthrough with friends/coop.
Is it the stress? Is it the difficulty? Is it the coop system?

Hey guys!! So I’m really pissed off right now. After I lit the Erdtree, I’ve been getting tons of stammering and studdering during animations/ash of war, new areas. I’ve been playing this entire game flawlessly with no hiccups. Now all of a sudden I’m getting stammering mid-combat!! I’ve gotten recked many times because it happens during COMBAT! I’ve made it to Faram Azula and it’s almost makes the game unplayable! Idk if it’s the game or my gear! Iike I said, I’ve been playing elden ring on this PC for the entire time with absolutely no problems.
I have a GTX 2060 super graphics card and an intel i5 9500k on my desktop. Both overclocked. I tried re downloading the game, I tried turning my settings all the way to Low. Nothing fixes it. I don’t know what to do!! Has anyone else had this problem?!! Let me know !

Souls vet here, staving off the hollowing while waiting for Elden Ring DLC. Finally finished getting the platinum for Dark Souls Remastered, gonna finally get back to Demon's Souls. I've had the game as long as I've had my PS5, but I only played it for 7 hours before bouncing off in the Valley of Defilement. Not sure why but this game feels more cryptic than other FS titles. Give me some reasons you love this one to convince me to keep going?

They are:
History, especially the 19th-20th century but with more broad and general knowedge in other time periods. I'm not an expert or anything but I am pretty passionate about it and tend to read/listen about one event or the other on a pretty regular basis.
Literature, especially old novels. I recently read Demian (my all time favourite book), Day of the Oprichnik, Heart of Darkness, the Perfume and Little Prince. Some of my other favourite works would include: "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Faust part I" (need to get to part II) and "No Longer Human". I also like to write short stories and book reviews. I'd also really like to read the same book with someone and discuss it. I just started reading Grimm's fairy tales.
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I'm currently working to scrape off the rust and then when I'm finished with that will begin to learn a fourth language. It's fun to go through different works in multiple languages. For example, I read the aforementioned Faust part I in all three.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad! The main questline at least, Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and will try out Deus Ex Manking Divided again ( Got inspired since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk). I was waiting to play Elden Ring but it ended being too stressful for me. Go here and get beaten up go there and get beaten up, repeat...Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games...like EU IV and HoI IV (also thinking of making my own project for HoI IV). I am definitely looking forward to try out Victoria III, after they add more content to it. I also got Modern Warfare 2, since the first MW had great multiplayer gameplay.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good new season of Bleach. Some other favourites include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass , Higurashi (season 2 is a bit weak but the first one is a masterpiece of horror), Code Geass, Attack on Titan and others. My favourite Manga is Berserk...I hope it gets a good ending..the first couple of new chapters were...a bit rough but the new author seems to have got his footing.
Anyway, that should be enough information to give you a good picture... Before I go, I would like to ask for you to include the title of the last book you read in your reply. A small request, I feel. I'll be ignoring those that don't.
