I never knew my parents; perhaps they were killed shortly after I was born, or maybe they just didn't want me and left me. Either way, I was orphaned. I grew up on the streets of the kingdom, pickpocketing and petty theft being my means of survival. When I was about eight, I stole from the wrong person. It turns out, a certain sorceress was in town running a few errands. being the ignorant child I was, I stole from her bag. I thought she wouldn't notice, but when I rounded the corner and saw here there, I found out I was wrong.
She saw something in me, though— potential, she called it. So she invited me to live with her. This beautiful, powerful woman took me in and trained me. Over the next ten or so years, I lived and worked with her. As I grew older, she did not. Immortality, it seems, kept her mature beauty in tact. As wrong as it may have been, I fell in love with her.
When I became old enough, I proposed to her. Surprisingly, she did not say no. However, she did want me to prove myself. We were to go on a quest together and, should I succeed, I would become her husband. But what awaits us on this quest?
Haven't done this one in a while, but it's one I really enjoy doing and offers a great dynamic to play around with. The excerpt above is just some background, but the meat of the RP is the adventure. My main goal here is to build the relationship along the way through the adventure as they start to learn more about each other. Let's build the world, the characters, and the history around the two!

Has anyone had to deal with food aggression?
My 4 year old beagle has never gone without, but from day one had always eaten every meal like he's starving. And when I would approach him to try and slow him down as a puppy and even now, he just inhales faster.
But my problem now is that since getting a second dog he will now growl and become aggressive if I try to take him away or stop him from strealing the other pups treat or food.
I'm just looking for some insight as I want to deal with this negative behavior in the best way right from the start. As I know beagles have a great memory and I don't want to make the issue worse.

Hello everyone. I have a few questions that I'm hoping maybe the more seasoned "Viners", as I call everyone, may be able to help me with. My family is experiencing housing displacement due to pipes bursting in our apartment because of landlord negligence, so we're on our own trying to find accommodations while the landlord takes their usual micro snail speed, and their duct tape and super glue, and fix the problem as cheap as they can. My family have passed, my husband's family doesn't live in our state (and currently experiencing addiction problems, so that's a no go anyways), so we're doing everything alone. I have a physical disability that prevents me from having full mobility, so I'm limited to what I can do. It's been....well, this has been an extremely stressful and all around emotionally and mentally exhausting. I am forced to step away from ordering off the vine for at least the next 2, maybe 3, weeks. I've kept up on my reviews as best as I can considering the situation. I'm literally 5 weeks away from receiving gold status, so I don't want to lose this opportunity that I've been given. In fact, the items I've been able to get off the vine have helped me tremendously with quality of life, comfort, and care, and it's helped with receiving items I've used in homeschooling my kids. This has been a blessing for us. If I don't order anything for 2 to 3 weeks, is there a possibility of losing access to vine and potentially being removed from the program? I cannot stress it enough how this has helped in so many ways, but with my living situation having taken this huge hit and my family trying to figure out how we're going to afford a roof over our heads at the moment with kids and pets, this is one more thing I'm not wanting to cause stress. This is a full blown nightmare come true situation with our apartment. We've been dealing with incapable maintenance and a property manager (I call him our landlord since that's who we deal with as this is a bigger apartment complex owned by someone who lives in another state) for 2 years and their inability to fix the problems that arise. They resolve the situations that take place by using the cheapest materials possible and provide quick fixes. I've even developed breathing complications due to the ongoing mold/mildew that the landlord hadn't fixed, which was also caused by a leaky pipe in the bathroom of the upstairs neighbor. I've had overflowing sinks causing my kitchen to flood, rendering many lower cabinets unusable due to water damage, and the only response given by the maintenance team is "oh". I'm sorry to keep going on past my original question, it's just this has been an absolute nightmare scenario that has rendered us homeless with 2 months of our lease remaining. We were going to renew our lease for another year because we really can't afford to move, but this situation arose and caused such bad problems that we're being affected in many ways. Not having family or friends to lean on in a time of crisis has also hurt us tremendously. We have a few friends, but they're not in the position of being able to offer accomodations during this time. I really am hoping that I can pause vining for a few weeks until this either is fixed and we move back home, or we find home elsewhere. I am so mad at my boyfriend right now. We're both immigrant workers. We're on two different visas but we worked at the same company and fell in love. Our current employer recently laid us off. It is a pork slaughter and processing facility. We were given a 60d notice prior to the company's closure. While we were job hunting, a company in another state came with the promise of giving us visas and in two years filing for our green cards. Here's the thing, our current company was going to file for my green card but they thought changing my visa from H1B to TN to give me a promotion was a great idea. Also, I am lazy. I am tired of spending time on the production floor and I would like to at least be able to wear a nice blouse to work. I was transitioning to a managerial role so it was nice to be mostly admin based, which is my ultimate goal. This potential employer, could only offer me a support role, only inside the production floor and very underpaid compared to my experience and education. They promised that my boyfriend and I could live and work together, again, under different visas. To my surprise, I suddenly got very promising offers from different companies and I was very excited. My boyfriend told me to go ahead and I landed a good job as a Manager, 5 hours away from where my boyfriend was hired at the company I mentioned earlier. The thing is that we were talking and he began to claim that I didn't care about being long distance and that I was happy to be away from him. He expressed that he wanted me to work where he was hired because we would be together and in two years they would start applying for our green cards. This made me so sad, because I have been at a job I despise trying to get a green card for so long that I only wanted a job where I could feel comfortable and spend the majority of my time inside an office, looking at data and coordinating projects. I really didn't see myself spending my late 20s at another job I don't like working 60 hours a week, just for a green card, that might never come anyways. It makes me mad that my boyfriend low key expected me to give up my goals so that we could live together. I really want to be happy and unfortunately I am very career-driven. This reminds me so much of my ex-boyfriend, who also expected me to give up my dream of doing my masters just because it was so inconvenient having me live 1 hour away from him. Then he got a promotion and suddenly I became meaningless. Like, why can't men accept that we women have goals? We also want to have careers and pursue higher education. Some of us don't even claim to be better than men. We really don't care, we just want to be able to pursue our dreams without having a partner trying to limit us or blame us for being ambitious.

Joined hinge after a very long old relationship (last 2 years married - finalised the divorce about 3 months ago). Matched with this guy and then we set up a date to meet in the park. He also mentioned that he was getting out of a long term relationship. We connected very well on common interests, the conversation was very free flowing - the date felt almost surreal. He drove me around for a bit and offered to drop me home. He was respectful and asked if he could hold my hands and if he could kiss me at the end of the first date. We set up another date at his place where he suggested we cook together. He was responsive and sweet in his texts leading up to the meeting. The second date went very well - we cooked a great meal, listened to music, I bonded with his cat, had amazing sex ( I thought so at least because we went at it twice). He tends to have a busy schedule so looked tired - we were also drunk and high - and he mentioned how I should be getting back as he needed to drive home the next day early in the morning. I was a bit taken aback an said it was fine and left shortly. The goodbye wasn’t too great.
The next morning I told him what a great night I had but also mentioned that I would have liked him to be upfront about the boundaries he has so I can plan better - like getting home late at night when I’m drunk and high. He respectfully acknowledged it. I decided to keep the conversation going. The next day I asked him if he would like to go watch a movie next week but he said was too busy this week and would probably be free the week after. I wished him luck for the week ahead and our text chain ended at him wishing me the same.
I felt very lucky to meet him - had a wonderful time on both our dates but now I’m quite confused. I’m not sure where we stand am afraid to take another step forward. We both had agreed that we wanted something short term at the moment but I don’t quite know what it means.
My intuition is telling me that he wasn’t just using me for sex given the depth of our conversation. Looking for an outside perspective to understand what to do next

So I'll preface this with the fact that I am talking about my best friend (29F) and her(our?) friend(24F). Best friend will be S and friend will be C. I have been friends with S for 4 years - we met at work and we are best friends. She used to always invite me over, we would go out and do things together, play games on discord, you name it. About 1.5 years ago, S met C at work and she ended up moving in across the hall from S at her apartment complex. I also used to live in this complex with S, but moved about 15 minutes away. S and I would still hang out towards the beginning, and C would come over sometimes to hang out. S and C were always closer, being that they were coworkers and I only knew C through S. What started happening was that I would ask S if we were doing anything on a weekend night and S would say no, and then later that evening I would see that S and C were out at a bar via snapchat stories. This kinda hurt my feelings but w/e, but it kept happening. I had gone out with S and C a few times, but when we did it would typically be if I was already at S's place and C came over and asked if we wanted to go out. Eventually, S started hanging out with Cs friend group and less with me. I went with to maybe 2 outings which were birthdays.
On New Years, I asked S if she wanted to do anything together and she stated that she and her bf were going to stay in. I went out with some other friends but saw later on Cs snapchat story that S and her bf were over at her friend's. This is when I started to feel actually like something was wrong, but I didn't feel comfortable asking S about it because I didn't want to come across as being controlling. Later, S got engaged and named me and C as bridesmaids. There was one point that S told me I was basically her MoH, but didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I felt better about the situation at this point! I asked all the time if I could help with any wedding or bachelorette planning and was always told that S didn't have much to do quite yet, she was making her own decor. We were all planning on getting together and setting a date and details for the bachelorette, but one day I had gone to see a movie with my bf and during the movie S texted me asking if I wanted to come over with C to get it done. I didn't see this until an hour later after the movie had ended and I immediately apologized for the late response and said yes I wanted to help! I was told that they had already done it all without me. I felt awful for missing this big moment and afterwards I started consistently asking if I could come help with anything for the wedding and was always told that S would let me know. During this time, C was coming over (remember she lives right across the hall) and doing everything with S. I didn't find out about over half the things until about a week before the wedding. I took a few days off before the wedding to help S with anything she needed. When I got to her place, she had boxes of things that she and C had come up with and done together that I had no idea about. I understand that C lives closer than I do, but it shattered me to find out how much I had been left out of planning. I told S that I felt like a bad friend for not doing more, and she said it was okay, C just helped to get S moving and encouraged her to get the stuff done because she lives right across the hall and walks over to nag her.
When wedding day comes around, C is walking with the best man and I am walking with my bf, who is also in the wedding. This means that C is the one who gets to stand next to S and gets to hand her the ring. When we get to the reception, there is a whole table of things that they crafted and cute ideas that I had no idea about - again. This hurt me partially because S and C know that I am a very artistic person, and I would have loved to help with stuff like this. I decide at least, since C had so much time with S and got to stand next to her at the altar and ha d her the ring, that I could at least sit next to S at the reception (no assigned seating at the table). I sit down next to S and C is standing in front of me at the table talking to S and she keeps setting her drink down where I'm sitting. I notice but I continue to sit there, eventually she asks me "are we switching seats or?" Assuming that the seat is hers. I asked if it would be okay if I sat here and she says yes, but doesn't really seem happy about it. I later tell her thank you again for letting me sit there and she ignores me. The next day, C posts a bunch of pictures of her and S but not many that include me, and doesn't even tag me in the post about "watching her best friends get married". I feel like this is just me being super sensitive about the situation, but I honest to god feel like she doesn't like me. I should also mention that on the day of the Bachelorette party, we both went to a hotel room to get it decorated before S shows up, and once S arrived she shouted "look at everything I did for you!" Despite the fact that I was also there helping her set it up.
We also were all sitting in S's living room last week with Cs friend who is getting married, J. I have hung out with J a few times, but she is a part of Cs friend group. They were all talking about how they are all going to be in Js wedding while I sat there awkwardly because I wasn't invited. There was another time on Valentine's day where Caitlin invited me(because I was at S's place when she asked), S, and two of her other friends, but later that day when she posted a picture it was just a picture of the four of them, not one with me in it.
I'm not sure what I did wrong, but it absolutely feels like C wants to be best friends with S but does not want me in the picture. I don't want to say anything to S, because I feel like I'm literally just going to sound like I'm jealous(kind of am), and like S isn't allowed to have friends aside from me. I get that people drift apart and I moved a bit further away, but I have always considered S my best friend and it's hurting me so badly to watch her pull away from me. I try so hard to be friends with C but she continues to not invite me to things. I wouldn't blame S for not inviting me to C's friend group stuff, but the wedding stuff makes less sense to me. How do I broach this without sounding like I'm attacking C or making S feel bad (especially about her wedding)??
Tl;dr: Ever since C became a part of S's life I feel like C doesn't want me around. Not sure if S is letting it happen or doesn't even realize.

So yesterday I realized that the weird musty “feet smell” I’ve been smelling is actually my cats butt!!
It’s normally at night when we are watching tv. Everyone has showered. I’ve been telling my partner his feet stink, to wash his shoes and wash his feet better thinking the smell was his feet….
However, last night she stood up on my chest and did a little circle and it’s her bum!!
She normally does her poops in the morning and yesterday she 100% did one in the morning. It’s not a poo smell either, it’s musty and weird. Her bum doesn’t always smell like that either……..
Has anyone else experienced this?
Do I just start washing it? She’s only a year old so it’s not like she is too old to be grooming. She is otherwise healthy..

So, you are all probably confused about the title. I bet your like "Wait, if this is a new series, that Danganronpa: Is there any hope left??? canceled? OH NO!"
Well, don't you worry, the funny Dangronpa project isn't canceled. I just feel like making another series, after getting some inspiration from two AO3 fics: Epic Character Elimination Reboot and Press A Button, Win a Prize (Or Destroy the World). There's also another reason why I wanted to do this thing: Since my sophomore year is ending this week (at the time of writing this) and wanted to have a busy summer vacation, I figure writing two projects may take up my time. The last reason why I wanted to do this thing is that there are characters in the Danganronpa sign-up that I wished I picked, but didn't have the chance to because there are only 16 spots. So hey, if you want to suggest that character again, you could do that!
Before we get to the rules, I want to give out a quick summary:
After a long long vacation break, the (in)famous Chris Mclean decides to make yet another season of Total Drama, this time with 24 four completely new computers. These players would compete in a black void because purchasing an island would cost way too much money. Who would win? who would fail? Alright, enough talking, rules time. Rule
1: No real-life people (meaning non-fictional characters, so people like Dream (fake speedrunner), Jack Black (I know he's a gamer, but he real), and John F. Kenndy (though you can submit his Clone High counterpart).
Rule 2: You can suggest any character from any type of media (whether that be Comics, TV shows, or even movies) just tell me where they're from and their gender.
Rule 3: NO NSFW (this rule is pretty self-explanatory)
Rule 4: You could submit a lot of characters (like 10 to 100), but I will pick them based on knowledge, their backstory, or if I just found their personality to be cool.
Rule 5: NO DANGANRONPA: IS THERE ANY HOPE LEFT CHARACTERS, (by that, I mean the characters that are participating in that can't be allowed. You can suggest other characters from their fandom, though ) as this is canon to the Danganronpa: Is there any hope left timeline. I won't be listing them, but I recommend you check it out to see which character can't make it in.
Optional: You can add an Audition Log. In it, you can tell the character's personality, background, and/or reason why they're joining the show. You could even write dialogue! This is completely optional, however, I would recommend it because it would convince me to add your character more.

I need a sort of voluntary house arrest for family member, is this possible somehow?
So for quick summary before details, my aunt is a raging alcoholic/pill popper who recently had OD'd and been sent to the hospital because she was literally immobilized in her bed. This has happened multiple times before, every time it happens, her kids are the ones calling 911. My mom is worried about them and her sister, and if CPS gets involved my mom really can't take on the two kids. So my aunt needs to get clean AT HOME. At home specifically for reasons below.
Her kids (14 and 16) called 911 because they found her OD'd again in her bed. My mother is the only relative in the entire East Coast and fears she will be forced to take on the kids if CPS gets involved because she only lives 40 mins from her sister. My aunt has refused to go to a rehab facility, and has faked "getting clean" multiple times, even after my mom has been drug testing her. Lies to everyone about not getting OTC medication and alcohol and goes as far to hide the empty bottles all over her property so nobody finds them. She's hammered 24/7 and no amount of rehab had stuck with her. She needs to be forced to stay home so her kids don't get displaced with my mother just because she can't get clean or god forbids she dies.
There's so much more that I could explain in detail to say how horrible of a mother she is to these poor kids, but I just need some quick advice on what can be done in this delicate situation. I need something exactly like house arrest, minus the law breaking that gets CPS involved. That way she literally can't leave home, can't go buy alcohol or pills, and her 16 year old can regulate her at all times when he's home. She needs constant monitoring to ween her off this shit for good the hard way. If I could send her to jail without her kids getting displaced I would. There's literally feces on the walls of her room and the living conditions are horrible. She needs to clean the fuck up.
Please someone offer something I haven't tried researching yet. I'm desperate to help my mom and her sisters kids out so everyone wins.

Hello everyone, I am currently 13 weeks and 4 days into my first pregnancy. I was very anxious about my NIPT testing, just always hearing the high risk stories, which perpetuated my anxiousness. I wanted to give news and tell my story with a positive outcome, so people scrolling feeling anxious or not knowing what to expect can see both sides of the coin!!
I am 25 years old, first time mom, and I had my blood drawn for the panorama on 6/1/2023. I will say, my insurance only covers a small portion, and I will be expected to pay about $250. This was worth it to me to know baby was low risk, as this personally would change our outcome.
When you get your test results done with natera, you will receive a little slip of paper with instructions on how to register your lab specimen on their portal. I logged in multiple times a day to look for updates! On 6/3, I got word that the lab received my sample. And today, 6/6, we found out we are having a little baby girl who is low risk for everything!
When I logged into the portal this evening, it said “new test results”. It allowed me to choose whether I wanted to see my results with or without the sex included!

It's kind of long so let's start here, I play league of legends since 2011 and I invested some money in very good skins and I had good rank, I had all the gold rank skins from launch until 2020.
In 2020 because it was already tedious and other games caught my interest I decided to put my account for sale, I received some offers but there was one in particular that was what I was looking for (I had already informed myself about prices and risks). I talked to the seller and (I will skip all the conversation and doubts) I accepted to pay half of the price and then the other half the following month.

Jumped to early 2023, this very year. I was rummaging through my emails looking for my account from another game, genshin impact and i have about 16 emails, many accounts and stuff like that, when i entered one hotmail i searched for the usual keywords "verification" "code" etc i came across one from riot, i had my riot accounts sorted so i wondered which one that was, my surprise was remembering that was the original email, I went back to the old facebook chats and indeed, the buyer profile was still off and there was nothing in screenshots, so I collected the data that riot asks to recover (creation date, first purchases, etc) and after 3 days I managed to recover it, it was on a Canadian server and I saw that they invested about 2500 Canadian dollars, I felt the cold on my back but nobody contacted and nobody talked.
1 week or 2 later guess who shows up, the former buyer. As I expected, he came very violent asking me what **** was wrong with stealing my attention "HIS" account and many more threats. I told him to calm down, it wasn't me who disappeared after not finalizing the payment and he said he will get it banned, I said "go ahead, lose the money you invested in it". It turns out that a canadience had bought it from him and yes, he was VERY pissed off with the guy.
After saying things I'm afraid to mention, I got fed up and ended up banning him, I checked the account more and saw that it was linked to wild rift and valorant, which made me feel really bad for the poor guy so with my best French I talked to some random connected on his friends list, the guy asked who I was and in a very aggressive way told me to give the account back, the current owner was very desperate as q invested a lot and doesn't know what to do, I gave him my email and that I wasn't planning on collecting a ransom, I just wanted to talk to the current owner.
A couple of hours later in an email in English the current owner spoke to me practically begging me to return it, that I could pay, I told him no problem, I gave him the starting data, original email and current data, the guy asked if it was truthful, so I took capture of the emails I sent and indeed, they were, he invited me to a discord call where he thanked me very much and asked me if I was the one who rescued it and I told him no, I am the original owner.
I explained the situation, the scam and that I expected to find the account as I left it or slightly advanced but I saw a big investment and it is something I don't want to have on my conscience, the current owner offered me what the scammer owed me but I refused, I really admit it was more for morbid to see if I could recover it, at the time I didn't know it years ago.
The current owner insisted on giving me at least some compensation as he didn't know about the scam and knew the account was very good for the price it was sold for, he sent 100usd to the paypal account to my email and invited me to play, I told him it wasn't necessary, I just wanted to put an end to this guy and know if my account wasn't in his hands. He thanked me for a while and his friends still with doubts asked me a lot of questions.
I gave them all the guarantees and protocols that it was all legitimate and I wasn't planning to recover the account, I didn't even play any riot product, it seems that I convinced them so they left, I kept the 100 usd, tears of the kingdom can't be bought alone ajsjaj.

I was telling that situation to my friends and one of them insisted very aggressively that this was my plan from the beginning, get it back and then collect ransom but after seeing that it was a lot of investment I surely felt bad and ripped 100 usd from the poor buyer, clearly I defended myself and as it was a discord call I couldn't record or prove to him that I didn't ask for anything (and I really didn't) but he still insisted that I shouldn't have kept the money, from someone I didn't know and scared to death, we had a heated debate and in short, he was very offended by my attitude of "I didn't ask for anything and I don't see any reason to refuse it. "
I spoke again with the current owner and told him that it was probably wrong to accept his compensation, he told me that he checked everything and it is legitimate, the original mail and data, so I can take the 100dollars as payment for that missing data (which he didn't have). We played a game in which I was very rusty and I told him that I was very sorry for the scare, it was a childish foolishness of mine to recover it, he told me that I gave him a horrendous scare but he can forget it since it is over and I turned out to be reasonable (thank heavens he was too).

So I’ve had diabetes for 1.5 years now (since 23, I’m 25 now) and my fasting BSL has never been more than 130 (that was at my worst. Usually, it’s always between 80-120. But today when I checked, the first time it showed 186 (fml, right?). It was unbelievable, so I checked again and it showed 202!! Which hasn’t ever even been my random BSL.
Could my glucometer be effed? Or is my BSL really that high? For context, I’m not really keeping well— down with viral infection. Could that be the reason?

My dad had pretty bad BPH and needed to have surgery when he was 50 years old. He never took finasteride or any other drug to stop the prostate from enlarging.
I'm in my 20s and I've been taking 1mg finasteride for about 1 year now. I don't plan on stopping. Are my chances of developing BPH later in life lowered because I take finasteride? I know the BPH dosage is 5mg which I could increase to one day if needed, but would prefer to stay at 1mg for now.
