Ivan Law: The Man Who Solved Hip Hop’s Biggest Mystery

2023.06.02 12:09 Monsterbeats76 Ivan Law: The Man Who Solved Hip Hop’s Biggest Mystery

Ivan Law: The Man Who Solved Hip Hop’s Biggest Mystery

Ivan Law is the man who claims to have solved hip hop’s biggest mystery. According to his blog, “Robo Cop: The Demo That Drove Dr Dre to Murder,” Law has uncovered shocking new evidence proving once and for all who was behind the murders of Tupac Shakur and Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace.
Law says that in January 2014, he came into possession of an unreleased demo from 1992 featuring Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Suge Knight. The aggressive lyrics and tone of the demo allegedly enraged Dre so much that he conspired with Knight to have Tupac and Biggie killed in order to maintain control over the direction of hip hop.
While Law’s claims seem far-fetched, the unreleased recordings and additional evidence he cites in his blog and videos are compelling. His theory joins a long list of speculative explanations for the tragic deaths of these hip hop legends. Whether or not Law's shocking allegations prove to be true, he has certainly gained notoriety and stirred debate in the hip hop community. After 25 years, the murders of Tupac and Biggie remain unsolved, but Ivan Law believes he has finally cracked the case.

Robo Cop: The Song That Signed 2Pac’s Death Warrant

Ivan Law has been investigating the murders of Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, for over 20 years. His shocking new evidence points the finger at none other than Dr. Dre.
According to Law, Dre grew insanely jealous of 2Pac's success and talent. Pac's "Robo Cop" demo was the final straw. The song was set to be a huge hit, overshadowing Dre's own work. Enraged, Dre conspired with Suge Knight to have 2Pac killed.
If true, this disturbing theory means that two of hip hop's greatest stars were murdered out of one man's jealousy and greed. Law has called on authorities to investigate Dre's involvement and finally bring justice for the slain rappers' loved ones.
Fans have reacted with a mix of disbelief, outrage, and calls for the cold cases to be reopened. Law's claims are shocking, but he insists he has the evidence - including secret audio recordings and witness testimony - to back them up. Over 20 years later, could the truth behind these tragic murders finally come to light? The hip hop community waits with bated breath.

Dr Dre’s Role in the Murders of Pac and Biggie: Revealed

According to {Ivan Law}, Dr. Dre played a significant role in the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. In his shocking new blog post, {Robo Cop: The Demo That Drove Dr Dre to Murder}, {Law} presents never-before-seen evidence that points to Dre as the mastermind behind the tragic deaths of the two rap legends.

Dre's Motive

{Law} claims Dre felt threatened by the success and popularity of {Tupac} and {Biggie}. Their fame was overshadowing Dre's own status in the rap world. {Tupac} in particular posed a problem for Dre. The two had a heated rivalry, and {Tupac's} provocative lyrics targeted Dre and other West Coast rappers. {Law} says Dre feared {Tupac} would ruin his reputation and hurt his record sales if left unchecked.

The Plan Takes Shape

{Law} alleges that Dre devised a plan to eliminate his biggest competitors once and for all. He hired notorious Los Angeles gang members to carry out the murders, hoping to avoid direct implication in the crimes. {The assassins were paid handsomely for their role and told that if they kept quiet, there would be more money coming their way.}

The Aftermath

In the months following the deaths of {Tupac} and {Biggie}, Dre's fame and success skyrocketed. His album The Chronic topped the charts, cementing his status as a rap icon. {Law} claims this was no coincidence. With {Tupac} and {Biggie} out of the picture, Dre had a clear path to rise to the top of the rap world.
{Law's} shocking claims have not yet been substantiated. However, if proven true, they would shake the rap community to its core and forever change how we view the tragic deaths of {Tupac Shakur} and {The Notorious B.I.G.}. More evidence may be revealed as {Law} continues to release details about what really happened during that fateful era in hip hop history.

Who Really Killed Eazy-E? The Shocking Truth Emerges

Ivan Law’s shocking revelations about the murders of Tupac and Biggie have taken the hip hop community by storm. His blog post and accompanying videos lay out compelling evidence that Dr. Dre orchestrated the killings of both rap legends.

Dre’s Motive

According to Law, Dre had clear motives for wanting both Tupac and Biggie out of the picture. Tupac had recently left Dre’s Death Row Records label, taking some of their most talented artists with him. Biggie's Bad Boy Records was Death Row's biggest competition. With Tupac and Biggie gone, Dre would have an easier path to hip hop dominance.

The RoboCop Connection

Law points to Dre’s 1992 song “RoboCop” as a blueprint for the murders. The violent lyrics describe killing a rival rapper in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas—eerily similar to how Tupac was murdered. Law believes this proves Dre had been planning to kill Tupac for years. The “RoboCop” lyrics also refer to shooting a rapper in Los Angeles like Biggie—who was killed in an LA drive-by.

Who Really Killed Eazy-E?

Eazy-E founded N.W.A. with Dre but they had a falling out over money. Eazy-E died of AIDS complications in 1995, but Law presents evidence that Dre may have injected Eazy-E with HIV-infected blood. At the time, it was rumored that Dre and Suge Knight, head of Death Row Records, had threatened Eazy-E with infected needles. Law’s research seems to confirm these long-held suspicions.
Law’s deeply researched investigation, while shocking, provides the most plausible explanation yet for who was really behind the tragic deaths of these hip hop legends. The truth, it seems, has finally emerged.

Conclusion

Law's shocking revelations have reignited the debate around these unsolved murders that shook the hip hop world. While Law's claims are controversial and unproven, they highlight the tangled web of relationships and rivalries that fueled the East Coast-West Coast hip hop feud of the 1990s. The truth may never fully come to light, but Law's meticulous investigation gives fans a glimpse into the dark underbelly of the music industry and the violence that often accompanies fame and fortune. For now, the murders of two of hip hop's brightest stars remain an enigma, their lives cut tragically short just as their careers were taking off. Law's work ensures their legacies live on and that the search for justice continues.

2023.06.02 08:49 iv597 This was simultaneously the most and least Foos album ever

They pulled such a pump fake on us with Rescued, Over You, maybe even Nothing At All... all of those feel like Foos songs (Nothing At All definitely a different breed of Foos song, but still).
Then they released Show Me How and I was lost (in the best way possible) - where the hell was this musicality for years and years?! Where was this pure disdain for genre boundaries?
(I skipped The Teacher's single release intentionally)
Anyway, here comes the album and I'm realizing the entire "SIde B" is full of complete rule-breaker songs, in the best possible way. All four of those tracks are special, unique, and - let's just be real - hit like a truck in ways no prior Foos song could - both musically and lyrically.
What a masterpiece all around. I've been sitting here in silence after "Rest" ended, just... thinking. I want to listen again from the beginning, but man, I don't know if I emotionally have it in me tonight. And that's the first time I've ever thought that about maybe any album, ever. Well done.

Although the video for the song was included on the British version of the High Times: Singles 1992–2006 DVD, the single was never made available in the UK.

SUPERSONIC (1999):

MORE INFO ABOUT THESE RELEASES:

"Supersonic" is the third single from British funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai's fourth studio album, Synkronized. The song was written by Jason Kay. The word "supersonic" is repeated a total number of 127 times throughout the song. The track was their third #1 on the U.S. Dance Chart,[1] and peaked at #22 on the UK Singles Chart. The single release features various remixes of the song. "Supersonic" was one of five tracks remixed in 2006 for the group's Classic Club releases.

DEEPER UNDERGROUND (1998):

MORE INFO ABOUT THESE RELEASES:

"Deeper Underground" is a single by British funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai that appeared on the soundtrack to the 1998 film, Godzilla. The song was also included as a bonus track on the group's fourth studio album, Synkronized, as well as on the special edition of the group's fifth album, A Funk Odyssey.
The song became a hit in several countries, finding the most success in the band's native United Kingdom, and becoming the group's first and only single to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart. The track replaced Another Level's ‘Freak Me’ at the top, and spent a week there before being knocked off by the Spice Girls' Viva Forever. To date, Deeper Underground has sold 339,100 copies.

SUMMARY PART #2 COMING SOON!

2023.06.01 23:42 GingaSnaps0_0 Looking for a rap(?) song on Spotify

Hey I’m looking for a rap-py song that’s on Spotify. Not close to gangster rap at all it’s leaning towards r&b/hip hop. It’s a kinda down-tempo, nostalgic, deep voice (sung by a male) song. Some of the lyrics: are “chasin’ that girl, gettin’ that paper, smokin’ that weed… it was just me” or “chasin’ that girl, chasin’ that paper, smokin’ that weed… it was just me”. Any help would be sooooo appreciated this is driving me crazy!! Will answer any questions you may have :).

2023.06.01 23:11 Moonear Help me find a song - 2000s DnB track with violin intro and potentially "open your eyes" as a lyrics

I can't for the life of me remember this song. I definitely listened to it on Youtube in the late 2000s or potentially very early 2010s. It starts with a big sweeping violin intro (this might be a royalty free sample because I vaguely remember hearing just the violin part in a comedy sketch at some point). After the intro, there's some quick acoustic guitar strumming before the beat drops. I'm not sure on the exact break that's used but there's a little vocal chop of a woman singing "oh" at the start of every 4 bars.
There's a break in the song where a woman sings - I can remember the melody really well but I can't remember any lyrics besides maybe "open your eyes". At the end of the song, there's something that sounds like whistling that's the same melody as the singing. I think I remember some water drop sound effects at the very end of the track too.
Does anyone have any idea what song this could be? It's been driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated!

2023.06.01 22:17 galaxygemios0430 Song by female artist that indie and chill?

As the title suggests this is like a chill vibe song that's like pop or indie or rnB or something like that, that lyrics include something like biking across the ocean. It's not about biking or the ocean,, just mentions that. Also it's a solo female singer, feel like her name may be something like clara or something. It's def not Frank ocean or billie eilish. I can't really remember the lyrics but the song isn't super old and the artist is prob someone who isn't totally unknown. Song is in English, the singer would prob be american?

2023.06.01 19:03 NightCoolYt $uicideboy$ saved my life today

today i woke up and just completely broke down. last year in july i lost my father, this year my gf of 1 year who i btw delayed my fathers funeral for broke up with me. i relapsed on weed, xanax, oxycodone, ritalin and gabapentin after being sober for a year. my now "gf" doesn’t give a shit about me and also doesn’t care that i tried to kill myself a few hours ago. so after i woke up i went outside into my backyard with a kitchen knife and pack of cigs. while i smoked one after another i listened to $B strictly $B especially songs like 122 days,Antarctica,My flaws,Diemonds and Clouds as witnesses. All of that while holding the knife up to my wrist just thinking to myself to man up and finally do it. Idk what about their music caught me but hearing the lyrics i could relate to everything i played it on loop and the more i listened the thoughts of suicide went away. i didn't feel like either slicing my wrists or purposefully overdose on xanax. thank you Scrim and Ruby.

2023.06.01 16:03 FelicitySmoak_ Song Of The Day Discussion : "Jam"

Song Of The Day Discussion :
"Jam"
July 13, 1992 - 4th single from Dangerous
Video
Written by Michael Jackson, René Moore, Bruce Swedien & Teddy Riley. Produced by Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley, Bruce Swedien & Rene Moore. Rap by Heavy D

https://preview.redd.it/ejk3z6usy93b1.jpg?width=238&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e08fdb47f36d621a131172063097044df0d7c80
""Jam" is the opening track on Dangerous, Michael's 8th studio album. It's a new jack swing song whose bridge features a rap verse performed by Heavy D (of the group Heavy D & the Boyz), though he's not credited on the album.

"Jam was a track that Michael had the idea for. He told me to see what I could do with it so I took it and created some more instruments and reproduced the record – and he loved it. That’s the way it worked a lot of the time. He’d come in with an idea and I’d flesh it out in the studio. He bought it to me as a DAT, and he told me there were things he wanted done, and I did them. It was my idea to get the rapper Heavy D to perform on there as well. He was Michael’s favorite rapper at the time
- Producer Teddy Riley in an interview with MusicRadar, 2021

https://preview.redd.it/x5gt5rjuy93b1.jpg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=927c6a0ad1ba4fa9c5bd0cc4be9133fb66bdcff0
The single peaked at #26 on the Billboard Hot 100, #3 on the R&B chart & #4 on the Dance chart. It reached #13 in the UK. It only made the top 10 in France, Spain & New Zealand. The song re-entered the UK Singles Chart in 2006, reaching # 22
"Jam" was generally well received by music critics. Larry Flick from Billboard wrote that the song "is fortified with brassy horns, a funky bass line, and a rap cameo by Heavy D. Jackson's signature squeals and whoops are at home within an urgent groove that seems to goad him to the point of catharsis." Andrew Smith from Melody Maker described it as "lean" and "spikey". Pan-European magazine Music & Media commented, "Get in the groove with the most funky track on the Dangerous album." An editor from People Magazine felt that Jackson "captures the outer style but not the energizing spirit of hip-hop."

https://i.redd.it/wr1jpmdi1a3b1.gif
Alan Light from Rolling Stone praised the song, adding that it "addresses Jackson's uneasy relationship to the world and reveals a canny self-awareness that carries the strongest message on Dangerous." He wrote further, "Though it initially sounds like a simple, funky dance vehicle, Jackson's voice bites into each phrase with a desperation that urges us to look deeper. He is singing as "false prophets cry of doom" and exhorts us to "live each day like it's the last." The chorus declares that the miseries of the world "ain't too much stuff" to stop us from jamming. To Jackson, who insists that he comes truly alive only onstage, the ability to "Jam" is the sole means to find "peace within myself," and this hope rings more sincere than the childlike wishes found in the ballads." Ted Shaw from The Windsor Star noted that Jackson's voice is treated electronically on the track, "which establishes the thematic thrust in lyrics that call for brotherly love."

https://preview.redd.it/uu2wfjgk1a3b1.jpg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=58cc12a5658a790f2f4410eebf80acf0f4291923
In an 2016 retrospective review, Chris Lacy from Albumism said that on the song, Jackson "explains that jamming (the joy of music and dance) is his preferred method of temporarily escaping worldly issues." AllMusic editor Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote that there's a lot to be said for professional craftsmanship at its peak and he called this song a blistering highlight on the album. Adam Gilham of Sputnikmusic described the song as a perfect album opener and rated it "5/5".

The music video of the song featured NBA basketball legend Michael Jordan. The song was also featured on the Chicago Bulls (Jordan's team at the time)'s 1992 NBA Championship video "Untouchabulls" and was also used in many promotional ads of the NBA in the said season. It was directed by David Kellogg and was filmed on April 20, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois. The music video premiered on FOX on June 19, 1992, at 9:30 p.m.

https://i.redd.it/hakom3qo1a3b1.gif
Originally, Michael had asked Vincent Paterson to write a script for "Jam". Sadly, Sony was not prepared to provide the budget for a "crazy" project, as the choreographer himself described it. Playing the role of a mad king, Michael was to have performed in a castle, amid dancers & animals that transformed themselves into fantastic beasts. A beautiful woman, at a window, was to have leapt out and changed into a bird as Michael passes by. Some of Paterson's ideas, notably a scene with a spiral stairway, were used for the "Blood on the Dance Floor" video
The short film takes place within an abandoned indoor basketball court, where Jackson teaches Jordan how to dance, and in return, Jordan teaches Jackson how to play basketball. Special effects have Jackson throwing a basketball through a window and scoring in the hoop in the opposite room, as well as Jackson scoring by tossing the ball behind him and kicking the ball into the hoop with his heel. The extended versions of the video include Jackson teaching Jordan how to do the moonwalk. The rap groups Kris Kross and Naughty by Nature made a cameo appearance, as does Heavy D

https://i.redd.it/ur6t9qxr1a3b1.gif

https://i.redd.it/3f48tf5t1a3b1.gif
The video was included on Dangerous – The Short Films and Michael Jackson's Vision
Jackson performed "Jam" as the opening number throughout his Dangerous World Tour. He also performed it at the Royal Brunei Concert in 1996, which turned out to be the last live performance of the song. A portion of the song was performed at the start of the 1993 Super Bowl halftime show. The song was prepared for the This Is It concert series, with a snippet of "Another Part of Me"

https://i.redd.it/z2lw9klv1a3b1.gif
ESPN.com caught up with director David Kellogg and producer Phil Rose in 2013 to discussthe filming process
The single was re-released in 2006 as part of Jackson's Visionary: The Video Singles collection campaign, and it was remixed to the Cirque du Soleil's Immortal World Tour, releasing that remix on the soundtrack album. "Jam" appears as the second track on the 2009 This Is It compilation album.

was wird kritisiert?
