2023.06.04 21:38 Fancy_Tea_6182 My ranking of all 72 new era contestants
This is based on how "strong" of casting choices I thought they were:
- Carolyn: Great person, sweet backstory, entertaining at ALMOST all times, and fairly good at the game. Can you get any better?
- Cody: Another A+ casting choice, good at the game, entertaining, sweet person and backstory, and hot. One of the few redeeming qualities of 43.
- Sydney: The reason I put Carolyn as entertaining at ALMOST all times is because Sydney literally was entertaining at ALL times.
- Maryanne: Probably my favorite female winner ever. Hilarious, sweet, good at the game, just amazing.
- Yam Yam: We really got spoiled by Maryanne and him winning. What's not to love about Yam Yam?
- Xander: Another contestant you just can't help but absolutely love
- Ricard: Fun villain with a heart type character
- Carson: The last of the A+ casting choices. Hot nerd who's good at the game. Him, Yam Yam, and Carolyn truly were a wet dream.
- Elie: She was kind of annoying at times but she always pretty much managed to be entertaining.
- Tori: Same as Elie
- Josh: Probably an unpopular opinion but I thought he was amazing. The dialogue between him, Carolyn, and Yam Yam was hilarious and just in general he was such a fun character IMO.
- Mike: Fun, nice guy, who was good at the game. Very solid casting choice.
- Tiffany: Really the only "older woman" to not be shafted in the edit so far in the new era. She was no nonsense and not afraid to play the game hard. She was great!
- Danny (44): Funny guy and decent enough gameplayer
- Zach: Ugh, so much potential as a character in just one episode!
- Shan: I personally never thought she was as great as others did but she was still pretty solid.
- Jonathan: He was a bit mixed in the post-merge but pre-merge he was absolutely amazing. Truly a Goliath if there ever was one.
- Frannie: It took me a while to warm up to her because she looked so much like Kellyn. Eventually I realized though how great she was. Very sweet person and fun showmance with Matt.
- Matt: Same as Frannie, just a fun couple in general
- Gabler: He was a great, fun character in the pre-merge. He faded a bit in the post-merge but he was alright than also I suppose. A decently fun winner overall.
- Heather: So robbed with the edit. She was hilarious and a fairly good gameplayer it sounds like also.
- Naseer: A very fun, likeable guy
- Evvie: A bit gamebotty at times but something so likeable about her despite that
- Jenny: Just a really fun, sweet, likeable person. Always smiley and happy
- Owen: He had his moments
- Jesse: Another one who I think is very overrated. Yeah, he knew how to play the game but he was like watching paint dry with how boring he was
- Brad: Fun, chaotic character the short time he was there but it was bound to lead to an early boot and/or get old soon if I had to guess.
- Omar: Surprsingly I don't find anything he did super memorable even though he seemed like he was always relevant
- Ryan: Fun comic relief type character
- Daniel: Sweet backstory and appreciate him trying to play the game hard but he just was not good at it at all and was bound to have it all backfire sooner rather than later.
- Rocksroy: A bit of a "guilty pleasure" I suppose. No clue how he even got close to being cast but he had some really funny moments out there for sure
- Sami: Meh, he was okay I guess
- Noelle: Liked her backstory a lot but otherwise didn't get a ton from her
- Matthew: Very undecided on him, his edit was kind of all over the place
- Geo: An underrated character IMO. Not a good player but he was a decently fun character
- Voce: Showed promise his short time there
- Lindsay (42): She seemed to develop a bit of a "Kelly Goldsmith" persona in confessionals at time but overall I think was just too "normal" for Survivor
- Cassidy: Some of her snarky moments were kind of fun but she just didn't really connect with me, others of her snarky moments just were kind of annoying IMO
- Karla: Boring gamebot, at least she had some success
- Hai: He just wasn't likeable at all, and not even in a "love to hate" kind of way. Just in kind of an annoying, bratty kind of way
- Drea: Same as Hai, which is too bad as she seemed fairly good at the game and nice backstory. She was just so unnecessarily nasty out there though.
- Jaime: Her sweet personality was great but I'm not sure we saw her really "play the game" really at all
- Bruce: I feel I can't rank him higher given how little we saw of him. From what we saw he seemed really sweet and likeable. Look forward to seeing him again in 45.
- Morriah: Again, I wish so much wae could have seen more from her. But from what we saw we didn't get a ton
- Romeo: Nice guy
- Danny (41): Also, a nice guy
- Chanelle: Seemed to be willing to play the game decently hard but just was kind of boring/not super likeable overall for me
- Liana: Same as Chanelle, I just didn't find her very entertaining/likeable despite her clearly being willing to play the game.
- Genie: Sweet backstory and loved her as a person/how nice she was out there. But she clearly had no clue how the game worked sadly.
- Nneka: Same as Genie, nice person and it was hilarious how little she seemed to care about losing challenges. But she just had no clue in the slightest how the game worked
- Heidi: Showed some fun energy in the finale but otherwise was completely unremarkable the rest of her time tehere
- Lauren: She had an occasional fun moment but never seemed in the loop strategically and just didn't provide much at all to the season
- Marya: LOVED her backstory with her brother. Other than that though, she just was not a fun character at all and not really a gameplayer at all either
- Jackson: Sweet backstory and seemed likeable enough his short time there but he was hardly there
- JD: He was alright but not a good player and his constant overplaying was sure to make him an early boot
- Deshawn: I could just never really "connect" with him in any way. IDK
- James: Probably the most boring villain the show has had
- Lydia: Great opening conessional and her being the caller was funny. Other than that, nada.
- Maddy: Irrelevant female pre-merge gamebot of 44 #1
- Claire: Irrelevant female pre-merge gamebot of 44 #2
- Helen: Irrelevant female pre-merge gamebot of 44 #3
- Sarah: Irrelevant female pre-merge gamebot of 44 #4
- Sara: Sweet backstory but overall not super interesting/didn't seem to really be a big gameplayer
- Erika: Possibly an unpopular opinion but I thought she was a terrible casting choice. Her only real "redeeming" moment was her getting emtotional and sharing her backstory when exiled. Other than that, she was so boring and IMO quite cold. Not a very good player eithegot lucky with her win I feel like.
- Kane: Him playing with the sword was cute but other than that he really didn't give anything
- Justine: Ehh, she showed some spice at times but otherwise was completely forgettable sadly
- Jeanine: She played the game but was so boring/unremarkable as a character
- Dwight: His pants were AMAZING!!! Yeah, that's about all I can remember about him
- Brandon: Maybe the hottest guy of the new era. And....... well.... umm.....
- Abraham: Very satisfying first boot. Jsut didn't seem interesting at all
- Swati: Poster child for why 19 is too young to be cast on the show
- Lindsay (43): Who?

2023.06.02 05:08 storiesof-adreamer 25 [F4M] #Nashville/USA - Looking for my special subby boyfriend for a GFD long term relationship!
(If this post is still up, I'm still looking!)
Hey there. I really want to develop a female led/slight gentle femdom relationship with a special guy.
When a lot of men see the term "female led relationship," they think, "Oh, the woman will make all the decisions with no input on what I think/want."
Are there dynamics like that? I'm sure there is. Personally, I'm not looking to be "the boss" or "above" you in any way. I want us to be equal... but have you give up control to me in a few other ways. :)
What do I mean? Keep reading on!
● ABOUT ME ●
You can call me Dreamer for now. (I'll tell you my real name once we get to know each other) Please do NOT call me Miss, Master, Dominatrix or Ma'am.
I'm 25 years old and an INFJ-T. I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA (AKA Music City) and I'm on Central Standard Time. I'm a Black woman and I stand 5 feet, 7 inches tall. My eyes are brown and I wear glasses. I don't have any tattoos or piercings at the moment.
One thing I want to mention is that I'm plus size, AKA a bigger girl. I'm undergoing a vertical sleeve gastrectomy in two months to lose the excess weight I have in a sustainable and permanent way. I'm ready to regain my body and be healthy and confident again. I'd love to have you by my side throughout my journey!
As far as personality goes, I'd describe myself as empathetic and sweet. I like to help others as much as I can. In person, I tend to be rather shy at first. People tend to mistake that for weakness or gullibility. I'm anything but; my strength lies in introspection and quiet observation. I notice every nuance of a person's actions, words, body language, vibe... my intuition hasn't steered me wrong yet!
● INTERESTS ●
I won't go into detail on every single interest that I have but I'll talk about my biggest ones that you'll likely hear me mention the most.
✨️Writing✨️
I've been writing since I was six years old, but I started taking it seriously around 13 years old. All in all, it's been 19 years. As of right now, I primarily write Fanfiction but in the past, I've written short stories, poetry and I even tried to learn how to write screenplays at one point.
I wrote my first full-length book in 2018/2019. I started the sequel in early 2020, but I'm still working on it. I lost a LOT of inspiration during the pandemic but I'm finally writing for it again.
If you also enjoy writing, I'd love to "talk shop" with you and maybe we can exchange some of our past works.
✨️Music✨️
Music has gotten me through a lot over the years. Yeah, yeah, I know everyone says that. But it truly has. It's shaped my life and introduced me to a lot of things and people that I probably never would've done or met otherwise.
There's no point in saying I like xyz genre because I've listened to pretty much everything. The only ones I truly hate are country and gangster rap. If you want specifics, though... I've been a HUGE twenty one pilots fan for 9 years. (I have more merch, stickers and other random shit than I care to admit to lmao) I also love other artists like Amber Run, Purity Ring, Phantogram, Daughter, Lorde, OneRepublic... plus tons more.
I've always had this dumb idea of a guy and I confessing to each other through playlists with songs that make us think fondly about each other...
God, I'm single.
✨️Photography✨️
I've been into photography for 10 years and I've had my DSLR for eight years. (It's definitely the camera version of 'Ol Reliable) I enjoy nature and portrait photography. I'd love to show you some of my work and get your thoughts on it.
✨️TV/Movies✨️
TV genres I like: Animation (like Spongebob), comedy, drama, documentaries (disaster and crime ones are my favorites), true crime (like Forensic Files), old sitcoms (like Sanford and Son) and cooking and baking competitions/reality TV (like Kitchen Nightmares US and UK, Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef, The Great British Baking Show, etc)
Movie genres I like: Animation, drama, comedy, action, psychological thrillers and science fiction. I thoroughly loved The Greatest Showman so one could say I like musicals but it's the only one I've seen so not sure if that really counts. Comic book movies are pretty alright too, but I really haven't seen anything past the first Avengers movie lmaooooo.
I say this as unpretentiously as possible, but I haven't seen most popular TV shows or movies that your average person likes. I think the last "popular" thing I watched was that Jeffrey Dahmer series on Netflix. (mainly out of morbid curiosity because everyone was freaking out about it... and because I think Evan Peters is a cutie) I only saw a few episodes and then forgot to watch the rest of it, but it wasn't as horrific as everyone was saying. Maybe I've watched too much Forensic Files and I'm desensitized lmao.
✨️Video and computer games✨️
Video game genres I like: Adventure, action-adventure, RPGs & JRPGs, Strategy... basically anything that is relatively fun and not horror related.
Some of my all-time favorites: Kingdom Hearts II, Ratchet and Clank, Journey, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X.
As far as computer games, the only thing I play on a regular basis is The Sims 2 and The Sims 4. As a kid, I loved simulator and time-management games; some old favorites are the RCT series, Simcity: Rush Hour, the first four Diner Dash games, the Delicious series and Burger Shop 2 (which I still have on my computer actually lmao)
✨️Other random interests✨️
Art, traveling, people watching, researching random topics on Wikipedia and watching YouTube, especially channels with old shows and movies.
☆ CAREER ☆
My last position was working nights at a psychiatric hospital. I'm looking for something new at the moment.
☆ ET CETERA ☆
I really love dogs and cats. I have three cats and they're little demons but I love them to death. I also love small animals like ferrets, bunnies and snakes!
My main love languages are words of affirmation, quality time and gift giving/receiving. To be honest, though, there's elements of each language that I enjoy or relate to in one way or another.
I don't smoke and I drink every so often. Otherwise, I'm vaccinated and DDF.
● ABOUT YOU ●
I'm looking for a guy between the ages of 23-33 years old. I
might be willing to talk to someone within two years in either direction (so 21 min and 35 max) if you meet all my other preferences/wants. If you're younger than 21 or older than 35, though, please don't contact me.
Please be single and emotionally available. I won't interact with anyone already in a relationship or married (even if you're separated or in a "dead bedroom," you're STILL married) and I'm especially not interested in anyone poly/ENM. I'm definitely 100% monogamous.
Hair is super important to me! I prefer medium length to long hair, something I can stroke and play with a lot lmao.
I have a REALLY big soft spot for blue and/or doe eyes, but don't let that deter you. If you have kind eyes, I'll fall in love with them, no matter their color!
I tend to like softer facial features and even softer personalities. Are you super masculine in public but a total softie in private? Lovely! Are you less masculine but a little more feminine? Great! Are you androgynous or otherwise fall somewhere in between? I can dig it!
Key traits that I like in a guy include, but are not limited to: Being sweet, gentle, empathetic, considerate, an active listener, exceptional at communication and willing to go the extra mile for those that you love, be it family, friends, your partner, etc.
With that being said, it's important that you have time for me. I'm not expecting us to talk 24/7 but if you're always too busy to talk to me, this won't work. At some point, I'd like for us to also talk on the phone as our schedules permit, of course.
As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, please be from the USA/North America and willing to meet and get to know each other in person ASAP.
● WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR ●
It's important to me that you're an active listener; what I mean is that you'll make an effort to listen to what I have to say and respond to it accordingly. If I tell you my thoughts on a matter or ask you a question or give you a compliment etc etc, please respond to it. It makes me feel so sad and small if I feel like my thoughts or opinions are not important/relevant.
I can tell pretty quickly if someone is genuinely interested in me or not. Like I said before, I notice everything lol.
I mentioned earlier how one of my love languages is words of affirmation. One of the ways I enjoy that is through compliments. I'm not looking for you to worship the ground I walk on, but being told "You look beautiful" or "When you do xyz, that makes me really happy" makes me feel SO seen and appreciated.
It's incredibly frustrating to send a picture of myself and get a lukewarm response in return. :(
Affection is also super important to me. Holding hands, hugging, kissing, cuddling, touching... all the cute couple shit. I want you to touch me, not in a pervy way, but in an affectionate way. I want to stroke your hair while I hold you close... little things like that make me incredibly happy.
Keep in mind, everything I want from you, I'll give to you in return. I'll always listen and acknowledge you, give you compliments, shower you in affection, plus whatever else makes you feel wanted and appreciated as a person and in a relationship.
● OUR DYNAMIC ●
I always want you to have a choice and be able to voice your opinion. I will never degrade or boss you around in general, but especially when it comes to your personal choices. I'm a switch that used to be a predominant sub and believe me, I've had doms tell me before, "I make the decision on what you wear, what to eat, who you hang out with, etc etc... because I'm your dom and what I say goes."
Some people may like that. More power to them. But I'm not like that. I want you to feel free to express yourself. If you want my opinion, I'll give it to you, of course. But my job is to build you up and support your decisions, no matter how small!
Again, I'm not looking for you to kiss my ass. I'd love for you to take the lead on most decisions (with my input, of course). But I want you to also have a "service" attitude; whether that's helping out with household chores or surprising me with a massage after work or giving me flowers "just because" or helping me paint my toenails lol... just to name some examples. The sky's the limit.
That extends to "the bedroom" as well. I want my pleasure to be just as important to you as yours is to me.
In short? I just want to feel doted on and taken care of. I want to be the most important person in your life and you be the most important person in my life. I want to make you feel special and praise you and tell you how much you mean to me. And I want the same in return. 💓
● "KINKS" ●
This is inevitably gonna come up at some point. I'll say when it comes to my "kinks" (if you want to call them that) I like:
Teasing, edging, telling you when you can cum and begging me for it (I believe it's called orgasm control/denial), moaning, praise, blindfolds, eye contact, body worshiping (you and me), breast worship, oral, fingering and using toys on you...
Been a little curious about pegging someone one day. We'd have to build up to it, of course, because I don't want to hurt you. If you're not into that, though, don't worry! It's definitely not a requirement.
Things I do NOT like (or hard limits) are:
Humiliation, degradation, anything that causes you or me physical, emotional and mental harm, blood, pee, scat, vomit, diapers, CNC, ageplay, raceplay, hitting, slapping, choking or anything else illegal, unethical or otherwise unloving.
● IN CONCLUSION... ●
If you read all of this, good job! Here's a cookie, hope you like chocolate chip. 🍪
Seriously, though, I can't name every little thing I want. Despite the length of this post, I'm not trying to play Build-A-Boy. I realize you have your own caveats and that's totally fine. Let's get to know each other and see what happens. All I ask for, again, is that you want a serious, longterm relationship and not view me as just some sort of "kink dispenser."
Chats or DMs are fine. When you send me a message, please include the following...
• Name or alias • Location • Age • Height, body type, hair cololength, eye color • Your interests/hobbies • Whether you're a sub or a switch • What you're looking for out of a relationship and something (or things) you really enjoyed about my post • A clear, SFW picture of yourself • Your current favorite song (so I know you actually read through all of this) • Whatever else you want to add to catch my attention. The more you can match my "detailed energy," the better.
I won't reply to those who ignore my preferences or the message requirements above. If you send me nudes/dick pics/sexting or FWB requests/rude messages, you will be blocked and reported.
Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you have a good night!
(P.S. I don't use Snap, Kik, Telegram, WhatsApp and whatever else. I use Discord and I only give my cell number out to people that I'm comfy with.)

2023.06.01 04:44 Difficult-Dirt-1725 Summer and Comics
I don’t get why Summer is being so controlling about Seth, Zach and their comic writing pursuit… what’s her point?
Annoyed why she has to ruin their partnership because Seth and Zach scenes are so cute :(
Edit: Talking about the episode after Zach’s Italy trip when Carter asked the boys to pitch their comic proposal

2023.06.01 01:53 lockdown2002 So I kind of liked season 4
After season 3 I was ready to stop. Like that shit was offensive with how bad it was. But I thought I’ve got this far so I may as well finish it. There’s a lot wrong with this season but there was a lot of good too. For me the main plot was the best bit so I’ll say it was a good season! Idk if it was actually good or my standards fell so hard after season 3 but I’d love to say it was good!
So the main plot with Clay was very good. His acting was amazing. However personally I hate drunk drivers. I cannot stand them. I believe it to be the worst crime a person can commit. I know Jeff was proven sober however you’d think even a drunk Clay would think about Jeff in that moment. But it’s clear how fucked up he was so it made me sad rather than angry. This poor kid needs help… speaking of fucked….
Zach…. Zach was brilliant. But I absolutely hate that so many people saw the way he was and didn’t do fuck all. And no asking if he’s alright once doesn’t count for that. But I enjoyed every single second of time he had.
TYLER! They went and did it. For me he just went from some creep I wanted nothing to do with or see to a character I was genuinely happy to see. I was happy to see how well he was in this season. Using Monty’s sister for Tyler’s progression was brilliant. A really nice touch. However isn’t it kinda creepy? A senior or junior going to the dance with a freshman? Idk how things are in the states but it’s kinda odd over here in the uk. However Tyler got the ultimate revenge on Monty. Just imagine how he would’ve reacted if he knew Tyler took her to the dance 😭😭.
So I know how out of it parents are in these shows. They wouldn’t know what was going on even if it happened Infront of them. But through the whole show I’ve always liked Clay’s Dad. He just seems like such a kind genuine guy. I know the show presented him as always away in ep1 but I always felt like he was there for Clay. That’s where we need to understand the reality of life. We cannot get help if we don’t admit that we need it. Admitting you need help doesn’t show weakness. It shows strength. Anyone can put their head down and power on but only the strongest can admit that they need help. It takes an insane amount of strength to admit you are weak.
Sheriff Diaz… top guy. Loved him. Loved the actor in everything I’ve seen him in. Since he’s played the same role in every thing I’ve seen him in haha. But he’s bloody good at it. Also I laughed at Justin’s funeral when i saw sheriff and his daughter together coz whilst Diaz has been looking out for Clay Clay was banging his daughter 😭😂 poor Diaz man. Clay is Diaz’s tape 1.
And OF COURSE I had to mention him… Bryce. I liked his involvement. He didn’t overstay his welcome. Every time he was there I was interested and the “I won”. Wow I laughed my head off. He’s so comically evil at times but he can also be realistically evil too which I like. Good to see the star of the show still involved after being sent off in such a cluster fuck of a season.
Charlie and Alex were great together too. I really liked Charlie.
It was lovely to see Hannah again too. Even just for a second she brought my season one self out coz I felt the need to say “awww” when she appeared 😂🤦♂️
The newest addition would probably be my favourite character of the season I cannot lie. I loved Clay’s therapist. Some of the lines he said in the last episode were bloody powerful to me. I’m gonna go back and find the clips so I can have them exact but wow. I loved him. And speaking of the last episode….
So I thought it was brilliant. A lovely close to a dark ass show. Like the whole show it was terribly flawed but still good. I found killing Justin unneeded. However I see how it was needed for Clay’s therapy scenes and realisations as based off the episode losing Justin got Clay his big breakthrough. However I highly doubt the show runners thought that and just did it for shock value. That scene with sheriff Diaz was great. The “I have a gun” scene. Just very unrealistic for a show that tried to be realistic. My biggest problem tho was why did they have to bring Courtney back 🙄
Altogether I enjoyed the season plenty. It’s certainly not close to S1 but I can’t tell if I prefer it to 2 or not.
As a whole I enjoyed the show so I’m glad I watched it.

2023.05.31 19:47 anarchysquid A List of Possible Explanations for Tats Descent Into Madness
I used to read Sinfest about a decade ago when it was mostly just a fun, irreverent strip-of-the-day comic. The last thing I remembered before checking out was Tats just starting the Sisterhood strips... imagine my surprise* when I saw the Donald Trump/Shawshank comic on reddit and found out that Sinfest had gone off the rails into pure head-exploding transphobic MAGAism. I've been lurking for a while, and based on my rigorous research, and just for I'd like to present my compiled list of Explanations For Tatsuya's Descent Into Madness. None of these are contradictory, of course. Please let me know any theories I'm missing!
- The Rotten Egg: Tats suffers from gender dysphoria and instead of confronting it, has become rabidly transphobic, all else has followed.
- Girldick Obsessed: Tats is sexually attracted to trans women, and the guilt and shame over this attraction has driven him towards rampant transphobia and the Right
- Males Are Bad: Tats believes that women are Good and Pure and men are Bad and Pervy, and this inane self-misandry has driven him first to being anti sex work, and then anti trans, since he has to "protect" women.
- Personal Experience: Someone in Tats personal life was either trans and hurt him, or was anti-trans, and this influenced him towards his current state of hatred disrepair
- At Least My New Friends Get Me: He's purely mercenary and following where his "fans" are, and he's driven away everyone but the extreme right, so he's chasing their money harder
- Clinically Unwell: Tats has some sort of actual mental disorder that is disordering his thoughts and driving him deeper into a spiral of hate and loathing.
- 2 Edgy 4 u: Tats has become more and more contrary in middle age, and is against whatever "the man" is for, which right wing media has convinced him is trans and LGBT rights.
What are some others? I might edit the post to add some more suggestions.
*I mean, not TOO surprised. The SWERF -> Fascist pipeline is real.

2023.05.31 12:05 Maksimka_Fleksit I posted here some stuff about my off au so just wanted to share my thoughts
So yes, I don't really know if this can be called a theory, it's more like just my thoughts bunched together, however, it is still the closest concept. I hope you'll enjoy my thoughts.
The game raises a lot of life topics presenting them to us in a distorted way, and sometimes it is not easy to decipher them. But I managed to use some information to interpret the game content. Before reading you must know that everything contained in this text is just a theory, personal guesses and does not claim to be canon. The whole theory is based on the concept "if something exists in the game universe, it also exists in reality." By reality I mean our human mundane reality. Thus all the characters that exist in the phantasmagoric game world are just projections of people and creatures created by Hugos flexible baby mind. The fact is that children aged 3 years just begin to develop long-term memory. In your 4-5 (approximate Hugo's age) you are more likely to remember people you know, other children and adults, rather than cartoons you watched. In fact, sleep is a way for our brain to cope with the impressions of the day. Children do not have a very stable psyche and that is why they often have dreams with various content. Perhaps the part with PIB comic book that Hugo remembered so well probably means that his father gave it to him. Thus, brain generates dreams due to mixed and exaggerated emotions, interaction with different people, phrases the boy heard and so on. For example, the image of background characters such as Elsen could arise due to the familiar sentence "to burn out at work", that means emotional burnout, but Hugo at his his age could take it literally and make poor workers burn alive. That's why their monster form is called "Burnt". The phrase "the stab of happiness" refers to the disclosure of drug addiction topic, which explains what the secret fifth element is - "sugar". It would be easier for a child to perceive white packaged narcotic substance as identical-looking sugar. Let's talk about the boy's family and friends. The main character, Puppet aka the Batter is his father, as many objects and other game characters hint at this point. He is a baseball player or maybe he was into baseball in the past, so he wanted Hugo to follow in his footsteps. For this reason Hugo could remember him as a baseball player. Another proof of why Hugo's son is the moment with the music box. According to the note, one day his father brings him this item, which also contains in our inventory during the game, and we are able to leave it on the bed in Hugo's room. The thing will play a pleasant melody and player will receive an Aura of Ideal. Probably Batter was a bad father, at least we are hinted at it in the game. dad was not too interested in his child and family life, he even could've been an abuser. The Queen, aka Vader Eloha is definitely Hugo's mother, we were directly told about it. The child believes she's nice, but she's often not around. In a relationship with the Batter, it seems that wife trys to be patient, even when he is in a bad mood. The child remembers some of her phrases, for example "Do you want coffee, my love?", "He has your eyes." Perhaps Hugo was quite far from his parents, since their appearance features in the game are quite blurred. "The room" may be an allegory for the hospital where Hugo gets his treatment. At some point we pass through a room resembling a hospital ward with his stuff. Later he appears in a same (but changed) room. It got me thinking about the Elsen we meet in the "room", asking us questions quite similar to those we hear at the hospitals: "how do you feel today?" and so on. In addition to this it can also be assumed that "the room" is a family house and a child's nursery but this is not reinforced with facts. Theres a calendar on the walls with alternating dates that mean something since the child memorized them. The Queen said she baked a big cake for him and maybe one of these dates is Hugo's birthday. He remembers holidays coming soon and how parents are quarreling over a party for him, a certain part of the dialogue between the Batter and the Queen bares resemblance to it. Thus, plenty of things hints at strained relations in the family. About Zacharie. His name can be an abbreviation of the name "Zacharias" in order to make it easier for the child to remember and pronounce. Zacharie can be a family friend. Hugo's parents leave Zach with Hugo as a babysitter, since they are too busy to spend time with him. Though his role as a merchant can extend to reality since it was quite common to run a small business in those years. By those years, I mean the 50-70s in which real events take place. Since the song at the end of the game was written in 40s and the heyday of the popularity of comics happened in 60-80s. Sometimes his speech is replaced with Spanish. Hugo could listen to his conversations with other people and memorize ьsome simple phrases such as "amigo" "buenos días" and so on. His mask may just be a metaphor for "hiding behind a mask", hiding his true emotions in other words. For example when the guardian of the Zone 0 dies, he says "maybe it will be better this way" and just changes the subject. Although we might guess that these two were quite close to each other. But Zacharie's words can be taken out of context because I don't think Sugar could have died in reality. But who knows. Although the game does not contain information about who they are to each other but I am more inclined to believe that they are relatives, presumably brother and sister. But this is just my opinion. About Sugar aka Sucre. This girl suffered from drug addiction, because of her name and the first time we meet her in a sugar cellar. In any case, in the game she is shown to be quite cheerful and less serious than Zacharie. She can also be friends with the family and keep an eye on Hugo as the merchant does. Pablo, Valerie and Jaffet. They can be Zacharie and Sugar's cats, and Japhet is Hugo's bird. Children like to talk to their pets and fantasize about various features, character and so on for them. When we fight Valerie/Jaffet, their reincarnation looks like a huge bird tearing a cat apart. But in the end they both die. In fact, it could look like a cat ate Hugo's bird, which caused the death of both animals: Japhet died because he was eaten and Vallery could simply suffocate with a bird's body or get an inversion of the intestines later. I've read a bit about child psychology and children often exaggerate situations that have had a big impact on them, like the one i just explained. I assume that Dedan/Tall Mister is their neighbor, namely an ordinary farmer because he has paddocks and barns for cows. He doesn't seem to be in very good relations with Hugo's parents (at least with his father), unlike with Hugo himself. And against the background of this I assume characters live somewhere in the province. Enoch/ Big Mister, can be the boss at father's work and that family friend who comes to stay from time to time, brings sweets with him and trys to be nice. If you take a look at the character from the other side, at this point Enoch would fit the role of a drug dealer, since there is a whole sugar factory under his leadership. Towards the end of the game we meet enemies such as secretaries. These are creatures that look like dolls in boxer suits. They, having more HP and damage, are not a courtesy. If you interpret them into reality, they still resemble toys. Sometimes in children's fantasies toys come alive and give their owners a sense of security. In our case Hugo created them to protect him from his own father, as it happens in the game. The reason why the secretaries look like boxers can be explained by PIB comics influenced on the young reader. Probably the Boxer, the main character, was loved by the boy which is why he awarded the secretaries with boxing suits. But let's not forget about another comic character - Ballman, who (just like the Batter) is a baseball player. This similarity is inherent in them due to the fact that Hugo sees the Batter as villian. And yet...what is the main point? We know that Hugo's sick, but we don't know with what disease. Some people believe that the disease is leukemia or some similar incurabledisease which can be confirmed by further information about his condition. From his words we can get the fact that the boy stopped taking prescribed pills which of course negatively affected on him.щ And this may be one of the reasons that caused a comatose state of any severity. It has already been proven that people in a coma are able to hear everything that happens near them. Due to these circumstances, Hugo's body is supported by a life support device and since his brain has started to shut down he may be disconnected from the device by the doctors. And if this is wont happen it will prolong the child and his loved ones' suffering. Possibly specters are also images of people Hugo remembered not that clearly due to his state, so they could become characters in his world of imagination. Judging by the conversation between the Batter and the Queen in the game, it is possible to admit real life's mother was against Hugo being cut off from life-support machine. But the father understands this will be the only way out. There is another suggestion of the real Zacharie had a mask something like a medical one. For this reason many people think he was Hugo's attending physician. It was quite odd that Zacharie was in "the room", even considering that he is the essential game merchant. And I don't think Hugo could have think up what he tells us there because children (even those gifted ones like our boy) can't know Latin. But there may be such a logical explanation for this - Zacharie was in the hospital at that moment to support the father of the family. His words are quite suitable for this situation. Maybe Hugo heard them from outside the ward. "bis Vincit, qui se Vincit in Victoria" Which translates as "the best victory is a victory over oneself." Which refers to what is written above. After all, let's admit it is psychologically difficult enough to disconnect your dying son from a life support device. The fact of killing characters in the game may be an allegory on Hugo begining to forget people and events associated with them. Apparently the game endings are the choice of Hugo's father in the real world: disconnect the child from the life support system or leave him in a coma until the darkness completely engulfs him. So the Batter says: "I'm here. From now on there will be no darkness." And in the true finale he nevertheless decides to turn off the switch. That's why the game is called that.
Everything in the game is pretty messy, but it fits pretty well doesn't it?

With Midnight hitting at 12 pm EST, the world premiere of Across the Spiderverse has arrived, and reviews from Across the Spiderverse ae beginning to pour in as well. Some early reactions from audience members online have begun to appear:
“Spider-Man: #AcrossTheSpiderVerse is so f\**ing good, I want to refrain my children from ever seeing any other entity of the character because they pale by comparison. This is MY Spider-Man. This is what we've long deserved. It's better than the first, and I LOVED the first.”* ~ Clayton Davis, Variety
“SPIDER-MAN: #AcrossTheSpiderVerse is very much a Part 1, but when it's this great of a first part who cares?! Perfect in every aspect, with a metatextual element that interrogates the very nature of the Spider-Man mythos. A new high for Hollywood animation AND superhero films.” ~ James Preston Poole, Discussing Film
“It’s amazing. Even better than the first. It took 5 years to make and it shows. Absolute piece of art. And that’s all I’m gonna say. Surprises await you.”~ Patton Oswalt, Actor“
Absolutely bonkers how good Across the Spiderverse is! The animation team is too powerful and they must be stopped. I’m going to have a six pack on my face from alternately grinning like an idiot and staring in slack-jawed amazement.” Dan Casey, Nerdist“
Right when you thought EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE peaked with multiverse stories, SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE, swung in to take the Miles Morales’ story and the animation medium to the next level. It’s a transcendent work of art that should be held as 2023’s first Best Picture. Believe the hype. See it on the biggest screen possible. Lo and behold the artistry and rich storytelling about identity unlike any Spider-Man story done before. Yes, bolder than its predecessor. I—ooof. I need to see it again immediately.” ~ Rendy Jones of VanityFair and Ebert Voices
“Every once in a while, an animated film pushes the medium to new frontiers. Into the Spiderverse was one of those movies. #AcrossTheSpiderVerse takes it several steps further! Just, wow!” ~ Nicholas Spake, Watch Mojo
“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is EVERYTHING I wanted it to be and more. The animation is the best I’ve ever seen in any film ever. The story is phenomenal. It outdoes the first film and gives us one of the finest examples of film in recent memory. It’s about as perfect as it gets.” ~Hunter Bolding, MPA certified press
“#AcrossTheSpiderVerse take the saying “Every Frame’s a Painting” to an entirely new level. Your eyes dance around the screen in awe as the film brings arthouse animation to the mainstream. You’re so captivated by the dazzle and heart that you forget the film’s 2+ hours runtime” ~Robert Butler III, Geeks of Color
Edit: More rolling in.
"There’s never been a SPIDER-MAN movie quite like ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE! What an incredible, exhilarating, ingenious cinematic triumph & a landmark achievement in groundbreaking animation! So much heart & humor too! An epic winner! Can’t wait to see it again!" ~Scott Mantz, Film Critic
"Across The Spider-Verse is a masterpiece." ~Stephen Amell, actor
"And just like that #AcrossTheSpiderVerse just skyrocketed to one of the best comic book movies in the last 5 years. The animation was a thing of pure beauty. A visual rollercoaster for my eyeballs. This felt like the truest Spider-Man movie ever. Take notes, Marvel." ~Emmanuel Noisette, Film Critic
"Still catching my breath from #AcrossTheSpiderVerse*. Absolutely blew me away. Not just a powerful restatement of everything that made the first film special, it expands the Spider-mythology for a story that’s both bigger and deeper. The wait until the next part will be agonizing!*" ~Zaki Hasan, Journalist
"After the hype for Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse, I couldn’t imagine how it could meet the glory of the first film. Trust me, it does. Gorgeous art design. Heart wrenching turns. A powerful tale for ANYONE who has ever felt like a mistake. See it this weekend! In a movie landscape clogged with multiverse fiction, Across the Spiderverse accomplishes the difficult task of establishing easy-to-understand architecture and holding variants’ actions accountable. I’ve been dying for the MCU to at least TRY to do this. This movie fixes it all. " ~Erik Voss, DeepDiveNR
"We’re going to look back at #AcrossTheSpiderVerse as the film that revolutionized animation. It is such a technical achievement and I’ve never seen a more beautiful looking movie. The way the incorporated all of the different types of art styles together was amazing. We thought the first movie blew away animation and this one is 10x the animation of the first one…" ~Matt Ramos, Actor
"#AcrossTheSpiderVerse is so absurdly good. A ton of fun, and \gorgeous.* I want to go back and just stare at almost every frame. Really, don’t temper your expectations - you’re gonna love it as much as people say. I was specifically looking forward to #AcrossTheSpiderVerse partly because I was told there was a lot more Spider-Gwen (a personal fave). Tried to keep my hopes in check just to be safe, but guys. We get SO MUCH. Hailee Steinfeld remains a heroic casting & she really gets to flex*" ~Andi Ortiz, The Wrap
"Wow! Even for a Part One, SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE exceeded all of my expectations. More emotional & thrilling than the first with a vibing soundtrack & dazzling animation. Oscar Isaac is the voice MVP. A highly ambitious but satisfying set up for what’s to come." ~Matt Neglia, Owner of Next Best Picture
"There aren't enough words to describe how much I LOVED #AcrosstheSpiderVerse! The animation, the art direction, the music, the performances, the story. 10/10. WHERE IS THE 3D VERSION?!" ~Adam Hlaváč, Creator of Heroes Reforged
"#AcrossTheSpiderVerse is spectacular! The animation is a visual delight and more impressive from one scene to the next. What is really great is how dramatic and emotional the story becomes for Miles and Gwen. It’s an excellent sequel." Leo Brady, film critic
"Believe the hype! #SpiderMan #AcrossTheSpiderVerse is even better than I expected. Every character, action scene, and conversation are executed so well incredibly well. I can’t wait to watch this again. Get ready to be in awe of this movie." ~Wendy Lee Szany, Film Critic
"WOW! #AcrossTheSpiderVerse was incredible! A heart racing & emotional addition to the Spider-Verse franchise. Spider-Gwen and Spider-Punk were among the many standouts, but Miles is the anchor. The visuals were phenomenal. SO many twists, turns, and surprises. I loved it!" ~Duane Miller, creator of Cinemaniaworld, film critic
"SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE can be described with one word—masterpiece. From the first beautifully animated frame, it’s a masterclass on believable characters and worlds. The gap between this and other superhero films is wide." ~Sheraz Farooqi, Film Critic
"#AcrossTheSpiderVerse is incredible. Visually, emotionally, it’s bigger and more intense than the first movie, but that mirrors how Miles is growing up and dealing with more complex problems and emotions. Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen is the stand-out. It’s her movie as much as Miles. The critic in me wants to point out that in some respects #SpiderVerse is half a movie (it’s not a spoiler, we all know there’s another one). But as a Spider-Man and animation fan I was too busy muttering “holy shit” to myself on a loop for two and a half hours to really care." ~Alex Zalben, The Decider
"I can't quite sing the praises of #AcrossTheSpiderVerse as the greatest thing ever because it is currently incomplete. It is, however, well on its way to being half of the greatest achievement in animation since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. #AcrossTheSpiderVerse builds on the first movie in brilliant ways, it finds new emotional stakes for Miles that make sense and fleshes out Gwen brilliantly. Does it have a million Easter eggs and references? Yes, and I don't care. It's about the characters." ~Dirk Libbey, Cinemablend
"'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is a practically perfect movie. Its color palette and blending of different animation styles is a treasure trove for the eyes, making it one of the most visually innovative films in years. There are dozens of cameos and easter eggs for superhero fans to obsess over for weeks to come. The #SpiderVerse story masterfully balances heart, humor, and action throughout its 2h20m runtime.Audiences will adore several characters, both old and new, with Miles Morales remaining an absolute star. Other standouts include performances from Oscar Isaac, Daniel Kaluuya, and Luna Lauren Velez." ~PopCrave
"#SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse isn’t just a masterpiece, isn’t just THE definitive Spider-Man film…it’s one of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen. I’m still picking my jaw off the f\**ing floor from this REMARKABLE work of art. Truly at a loss for words.*" ~Griffin Schiller, creator of FilmSpeak
"#SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse is not just the BEST Spider-Man film of all time, it’s not just the BEST COMIC BOOK FILM of all time, it’s not just the greatest sequel ever made, it’s bar none one of the best films I’ve ever watched. More than a masterpiece. This is everything. The feeling this film gave me brought back the feeling of when I watched my first movie.. every core memory of Toy Story being watched for the very first time. I’m in tears #spiderverse" ~Zach Pope, Critic

2023.05.31 08:15 dlgn13 Favorite OLD comics
SMBC has evolved a lot over the decades, and Zach has refined both his artistic style and his sense of humor a great deal. That said, there are definitely some true classics from the earlier days, especially in the late 2000s when he was transitioning from his earlier style of shock humor to his more intellectual writing style of today. Some of my favorites:

2023.05.31 07:37 Jonesjonesboy More Top Comedy Comics. You Won't Believe What Harry and Meghan Said About #5!
Mainly Because They Haven't Said Anything About It, So I'd Just Be Making It Up
#2 in a patience-testing series about my favourite 100 funny comics; part 1
here. In this thrilling instalment:
- Empowered
- Amphigorey
- Mutt and Jeff
- Hark a Vagrant
- Perry Bible Fellowship
- Achewood
- Shaolin Cowboy
- ALIEEEN
- Bone
- Cerebus
Empowered by Adam Warren -- this series is a miracle in 200-odd page chunks. It's a cape comic, and it's a cheesecake comic, and it's pervy as hell, and it's a comedy about a super-thicc superhero whose powers get weaker the more her skin-tight costume gets torn -- and it gets torn a lot a lot of the time -- and because of that it's also a riff on the original Wonder Woman's tendency to get into bondage situations well beyond just the standard "getting tied up and spanked" that everyone always thinks of when they think about about Wonder Woman and BDSM (my own favourite is the one where they dress up as deer and get slung up in a hunt -- William Moulton Marston, an advocate for furries well before his time -- but the ageplay sequences are pretty eye-opening too), and the whole thing sounds frankly like a fan commission on DeviantArt, and yet: it's also fiercely feminist, sex-positive, rich with world-building (a word that usually has me reaching for the revolver), well-plotted, massively entertaining and frequently laugh-out-loud funny. What a miracle.
Amphigorey and sequels by Edward Gorey -- Edward Gorey has a cult following outside of comics, but I feel like he rarely gets his due within comics
as a cartoonist. Perhaps this is partly because he straddled different fields, so his books aren't all comics, or at least not all straightforwardly comics. Sometimes they look more like picture books (sort-of for sort-of adults), or a collection of illustrations. But unless you're a neurotic stickler like Scott McCloud, you should look at his books and realise yes, these are comics. And yes, they are funny, although tending more towards the morbidly droll than gut-busting. But he has such an immediately recognisable aesthetic -- Tim Burton if he hadn't become insufferable roughly 17 films ago, Wes Anderson if he'd been a goth in high school, Richard Sala if he'd had a fetish for 19th century gothic literature instead of horror movies from the 30s. That old chestnut in horror -- the monster you don't see is scarier than the monster you do -- may or may not be true, but in Gorey the lurking menace outside the oppressively cross-hatched murky sitting-room is definitely funnier. As Mel Brooks said, tragedy is when I cut my finger, comedy is when you fall down an open manhole and die, and Gorey's comedy is when something unspeakable just off panel is obliquely mentioned.
Mutt and Jeff by Bud Fisher -- for a 317 year-old comic strip -- apparently regarded as the first daily comic strip -- this is surprisingly funny, and the gags generally don't (at least in the strips I've read) rely on ye olde context of life in Chaucerian times or whenever. Visually, Mutt and Jeff themselves are an iconic, indeed still proverbial duo: one tall skinny guy and one short guy, that constrast creates instant visual interest right there. And the strip's narrative set-up is a rock-solid foundation for comedy; these bickering accomplices are a pair of dodgy chancers and low-level grifters, forever pursuing, and failing at, one-get-rich scheme after another, the inspiration for many a comic strip character afterwards (O'Malley, Wimpy, Barney Google...).

2023.05.30 13:06 Keksz1234 Jerome should've been the Joker
As you can see above, I am wholeheartedly believe that Jerome Valeska should've been Gotham's only Joker, THE Joker. Many people would agree with this.
But here are my reasons: 1. The 14th episode of season 3 felt like a direct confirmation to the audience that "yes Jerome is the Joker" and that fight at the end should've been the first official fight between Batman and Joker in this universe. 4x16 also proved to be promising with Bruce feeling responsible for everything that Jerome does as he spared his life in the circus, and he did save Jerome. Jerome was even dumbfounded to learn that Bruce literally wanted to save him and Bruce even had a look of pity on his face after Jerome told him how Uncle Zach beat him.
It reminded me of this scene from Batman Arkham Origins:
https://youtu.be/fBvynj1Un-o We could've easily got a scene like this in a future episode, with Jerome changing his mind about Bruce and begins to see him in a different light. At first he would be furious. Why? In 3x14 his sole goal besides killing Bruce, was to break his world view and drive him to become a nihillistic killer like himself with the whole "Gotham has no heroes" thing. Now in season 4, Bruce comes in and acts as a vigilante hero trying to save even people who are irredeemable like Jerome himself. This would make Jerome angry and confused at first because he literally made Bruce into a hero which went against his whole world view. But then he would think about it and see the potential humor behind it all: Maybe if he just pushed Bruce harder and eventually break him, Bruce would actually become a killer like himself. Jerome would've realized that maybe he and Bruce aren't too different: both are orphaned young and ambitious men who try to change the face of Gotham according to their beliefs and world views motivated by their traumas relating to family (Bruce - loss of his parents, Jerome - abuse from his family).
This could've been a great set up to develop the Joker and Batman relationship in this show's universe and story. But no, they had to shoehorn in the Jeremiah twist and kill off Jerome. Absolutely wasted potential.
Also, Jeremiah just came out of nowhere and his existence doesn't make any sense. Like are you trying to tell me that Jerome didn't realize that his brother is in the very same city in which he was terrorizing people? And none of his relatives even bothered to tell the GCPD that "Oh btw Jerome has a twin somewhere in this city" or even the fact that Jerome never talked about him in any of the episodes before season 4?
The show already pulled the secret twin plot twist numerous times and all of them were annoying. Looking at you Kristen Kringle and Isabella.
- Now Jerome is obviously based on multiple versions of the Joker (New 52, Arkhamverse, Ledger, Nicholson, ect) and kinda gets criticized for not being "unique" take on the Joker while saying that Jeremiah is. But that's entirely true... Jeremiah is obviously based on past incarnations as well (Golden Age, Telltale, Dark Knight Returns, BTAS, ect). Both of them take numerous inspirations from various comic books. Ledger and Phoenix can be considered unique as their versions were created for realistic versions of their respective universe.
But the reason why Jerome was so much better is because he almost had it all: the laugh, the insanity, the philosophy, the look (except the colors), ect. Jeremiah only had the looks and the obsession with Bruce, he later developed the others after a few seasons.
Also Jerome’s backstory is much more fitting for the Joker: a boy who was raised in a circus in an abusive enviroment. That makes so much sense for the Joker unlike Jeremiah's who was just a scientist who was gassed by his brother (no I don't believe that Jerome was the good kid, in fact I don't believe that any of them were - Jerome was not only shown to be quite delusional and mix up some memories, but he was also shown to be a liar as well) who originally had all the Joker's mannerisms and ideas. The latter makes the Joker feel like a copycat of someone else (Jerome in this case), which was actually the original plan for the writers when it came to the Joker topic.
Jeremiah is just a puppet to Jerome’s final and posthumous will. The punchline to Jerome’s killing joke. The funniest part is that Jeremiah doesn't even realize this.
- Now the common criticism of Jerome was that he was not smart and Jeremiah was more intelligent. Both of these is kinda wrong (Jeremiah is obviously a genius and might be more educated than Jerome was but education =/= intelligence). Firstly, Jerome was pretty damn smart and secondly, Jerome literally outsmarted Jeremiah 3 times before he died.
Jerome managed to build a massive bomb which was powerful enough to blow up the Gotham power plant in season 3.
He also had guards and snipers protecting his show in 4x18 in case a GCPD sniper tries to kill him.
Jeremiah planned to capture Jerome and take him to the maze and keep him trapped there. Surprise, not only Jerome had Mad Hatter and Scarecrow follow him, he also managed to get out of the maze on his own!
Then there's the fact that Jerome had his "gift" disguised as if it was sent by Bruce to lure Jeremiah into a trap. Jerome managed to predict that Jeremiah will begin to feel some connection to Bruce and he exploited it to trap his brother and it worked!
Jeremiah tries to deny that his brother won, but not only is he delusional but arrogant as well and he will never admit that Jerome won.
Now if the writers had continued with Jerome, imagine how much more fun and horrifying the Ace Chemicals episode would've been.

He tries to show me, but he cannot just hand me a rule book, at least not yet. I must figure it out by playing the game ie living life and paying attention. Essentially it’s a game for God’s attention. Do things he wants you to do and help others do the same. He wants us to spread love, the 528hz frequency. I should start treating meditation like it’s my job.
1/4/2021 I am a human soul. The soul is awareness. Our collective objective is to spread Love. My primary and maybe only tool is a finite amount of energy I can use to influence this human’s distribution of awareness/attention. Learn to use attention wisely to maximize love in your environment. Your human mind and body are an ever-present part of your environment as the human soul, so start there. Realize that behind every pair of eyes, there is a spirit in there struggling to direct this unruly human’s attention, just like you. The only difference is the environment you were born in to. The human body is how yin and yang pair together for eternity, the different parts can be meaningfully classified as either masculine or feminine. Hands are feminine, feet are masculine. The process of enlightenment consists of Yang and Yin explaining themselves to each other, so that they can relinquish their stressful responsibilities that they are ill-equipped for and allow the other to guide within the environments they are more skilled in. Yang is the husband, Yin is the wife. The soul is the father, the mind is the mother, and the body is their child. The mind and soul work together to decondition the human whole, so that the body learns that it no longer needs to rely on mom’s decision making. Our imagination enables action at a distance. It’s how we influence the energetics of distant times and locations, especially our own timeline. The more you visualize the scenario, the more powerfully it impacts you when it happens. The more effectively you visualize a future scenario, the more likely it is to happen. Imagine past and future versions of yourself are trying to help you, and return the favor by healing old wounds and visualizing your heaven. Don’t let fear of disappointment stop you from dreaming; fear is Satan’s weapon, not mine. I aim to motivate through love, you can check for yourself that it’s more efficient.
31/3/2021 29/6/2021, 5:44 AM update: keeping this for memory’s sake; I don’t recommend following through if you want to be happy yourself. 9/11/2021, 2:59 PM scratch that, don’t be a pussy
I’ve received multiple signals that I should get life insurance and did so today. During my first communication with God at the Dead and Company concert, I hallucinated a gun shot, and consequently I suspect I will die of a gunshot wound soon. If so, I feel like I will need to help bring heaven to you all from the other side. I want this copied and sent to Nolan, Jeremy, Grant, Sean, Saundra, and Yaquelyn. Please remember that I expected this to happen and I feel no fear, in fact I am excited to see how it all works and figure out how to communicate with you all. Hopefully seeing a vision of my death and successfully predicting it before it happens (update 5/22 I have no idea if or how I die(d)) in conjunction with my headphones (which Nolan recommended to me immediately before I picked up my phone to ask him for a recommendation for headphones) changing their own usb network name to Solar Flare after explaining to my wife for months how I’m talking to the sun, will be enough to convince the reader that I may really be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, son of God whom is acting predominately through the sun, the source of 70% of the neutrinos flowing through you right now.
Good for everybody: Sun gaze, do/learn halotropic breathing, implement your human design, consider starting a dream journal, pray, and follow the ethics equation. Your dreams will be my easiest point of contact, the more you remember, the more information I can give you. Sesshin meditation ala Shinnyo-en Buddhism will be the most reliable way to talk with me directly, Mina can help anyone who is interested. Thank you Mina! (This was possibly mistaken) Learn to pray effectively, what answers will really make an impact on your well-being? Prayers are answered in accordance to their efficiency in propagating Love. Straightening out your airway and learning to breath efficiently is by far the most powerful lever available for radically changing your mind, body, and spirit. Follow functionalpatterns/Naudi Aguilar and CertifiedHealthNut/Troy Casey to learn how. The feeling of coincidence is a signal of God’s or my involvement, pay close attention to it. I will likely be trying to make the stocks SQ, ICE, and NVDA skyrocket as well as the cryptocurrency Algorand. I believe Bitcoin will also be a solid investment. Men, Elliot Hulse is the iconic masculine leader and man of God, follow his example. Any time you negatively judge someone and feel annoyed at them, that has always been a signal to YOU about how YOU can change YOUR behavior to be nicer. We will annoy the shit out of you over and over again until you figure out your hypocrisy and check yourself. You are not the judge and nothing bothers me more or educates me more effectively than discovering my own hypocrisy. Satan/Yang often works by discrediting in the eyes of the public those with too much understanding. Logic is the trait that allows God/Yin to connect and efficiently preserve his network of objective thinkers, facilitated through the Dark Web. You could say we form a wall through which no large-scale falsehoods may pass, and the process of enlightenment is the process of expanding that wall.
We want the people who are most effective at spreading love and joy to be the happiest people themselves, so that everybody has incentive to be more like them.
Giang, I asked God for a Christmas gift for you, and he showed me your 2nd husband. I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you sooner, your support was necessary for me to continue my training. You are going to be so blissfully happy with him, I can’t wait for you to feel how awe-inspiring life can be. I owe you everything and I will always honor my husbandly duty to protect you, no matter where I may be. Make sure you keep visiting the dog park. Don’t spay Maple, she’s going to be a mom. Maple needs company during the day, she can’t be alone for extended periods of time. Daycare, babysit with Mocha, or find some other way to make sure she’s not alone. Thank your mother for me for introducing me to the Mary statue, you will see how important it is. If you are reading this first, please stop here and let Nolan read the rest, he will share with you what you ought to know. If there is a war coming, I want as much peace as possible for you.
Nolan, I need you to take this and run with it. If you betrayed me in some way, I don’t care, that was your role. I can’t adequately stress the importance of learning to use your splenic intuition. This is what God wants and it is logically impossible for it to be in our interest to defy his wishes. First, if you learn to lucid dream with some consistency, I think I will be able to guide you easily. I can see how fruitless my exhausting efforts have been at attempting to establish some form of mutual respect with various people in my life as a poor man, so I will be doing what I can to make you rich and taken seriously. There’s a very viral-worthy story here and Elliot Hulse is the man to get the story out there. I had already joined his KING program back in November and saw that he had a reward for the top 3 performers, and I was hoping you, Jeremy, and I would have a friendly competition and try to take all 3 spots by helping each other implement the fundamental theorem of ethics in each of our lives. However it was impossible to get the 3 of us together, and now I suspect I know why: I will be (already am?) guiding from the afterlife, and my buddy/former client Grant will take my place in the trio. Aim to make Grant famous by enrolling him in Elliot Hulse’s KING program. Consider making music with my neighbor Cesar, you two will get along extremely well. It will work best if all of you enroll in the program and help each other, I will ask my mom to help a little with funds if you need it. Consider suggesting a competition to Elliot made up of teams of 3, each team competing to maximize love in their environment. Work with Saundra and hdbee to consolidate and spread knowledge of Human Design, hdbee has been channeling regularly and it will be easy to communicate to her. Please Follow Saundra Heimark’s health advice and use the app FitMind, both will have a bigger impact than you think. Use of cannabis will make it much easier to make contact, please get in touch with my family friend Mitch and think about trying it out. I will also be trying to relay Q-related and conspiracy-related information to Mitch, my uncle Don, and a friend from 24 named Andrew. I messaged Naudi Aguilar back in November, but it never made it to his attention. If you can get Elliot Hulse’s attention, he can probably get Naudi to read that message, and you two will be able to get him on the team. Naudi knows more than anyone how to fix human movement. Naudi and David Weck can learn a lot from each other. I suspect my old 24 buddy Wes would be happy to try to help you make that happen. I will also likely be making contact with Connor Murphy, he had a vision of the Christmas Nashville bombing before it happened. I don’t know his role but I know he’s worth listening to. Unchecked sexuality is Yang’s/Satan’s strongest weapon, get it together Connor.
The Law of One is important, get that church involved at some point. The 6th density social memory complex Ra is a critical figure in all this. Update: it’s me!
I expect I need to learn and master the rules of the game before I can come back, that may be around the time that humans shift their center of awareness to the solar plexus in 2027 as predicted by Human Design. Or any time sooner, but I feel like I will be returning in a physical form at some point.
Jeremy, man you suck at hanging out. It’s not really your fault though, for whatever reason we’re being stopped. You’ve been a part of my plan to save the world since day one, and when we met up for lunch, I realized you had been waiting for us all to reunite for years. Zero doubt that you would have my back. Help out Nolan. Help out Saundra if she needs it and tell her about your mother in law. Listen to some Elliot Hulse and decide if that program appeals to you, but first learn to use your authority. Learn your design, go to church, spread love brother.
Brianna, although they are initially my easiest points of contact, a healthy version of yourself would likely be the most powerful antenna. Schizophrenics used to be the shamans of society and look at what Dr. Zach says about autism. You’re not broken; society doesn’t understand your design and how it functions differently, and you’ve suffered greatly for it. If you listen to Saundra’s advice, I guarantee she can guide you to a healthy, happy life. Although we disagree in politics, we’re a lot more alike than you think. I know for a fact that you will show the world that neither schizophrenic nor autistic are synonyms for disabled.
Mom, Brianna is not going to be able to get healthy by herself. She needs a role model and support system. If you want to see your daughter live a successful independent life, it’s time to make an effort to get healthy yourself and give Bri someone to struggle next to. Jonny and I will be doing what we can to help you. I will also need you to help financially support Alex; he needs some freedom in his life so that he can find his purpose. Also, if any of my friends needs help with money to enroll in Elliot Hulse’s program, please give them the $1k. I promise you will be rewarded for it. I will be doing my best to relay Q-related and conspiracy-related information to Mitch and Don.
Timmy, I know we have some deep philosophical disagreements, but I’ve always respected your logical consistency and ability to find errors in arguments. I don’t ask you to take God on faith; just consider the possibility that there exists some reason that he can’t prove himself to all, but individuals can have proof in their experience that is impossible to adequately share. Giang will confirm that I’ve said that I’ve been talking to the sun since November, and that my Boise headphones changed their own usb network name to Solar Flare. These are the same headphones that Nolan recommended to me immediately before I picked up my phone to ask him for a recommendation for headphones, and he had no good reason for making that recommendation at that particular time. Only I, Giang, and Bim have had access to the headphones, none of us claims to have changed it, and none of us have any incentive to lie about it. Be open to the possibility, keep an eye out for coincidence, and we will find a way to show our presence to you.
Alex, I need you to be our family’s shaman. Get yourself healthy by listening to Saundra’s advice, accept mom’s help, and find your unique role in the world of spirituality. Browse Gaia for information, and keep an 👁 out on that dmt-drip experiment going on in Europe. I expect Bri and mom will need help getting healthy, but the 3 of you working together will provide the social support necessary to make it doable. Breathwork is the key to unlocking our soul’s potential through our body. See you soon on the astral plane brother.
Saundra, it would be impossible to overstate how powerfully you’ve impacted my life. Not only by introducing me to Human Design and a dozen health practices and just being my friend, but you lead me to God as well. If you could see what I see coming in your life, you would burst into tears of self-love.
I can’t believe you never saw I was meant to be YOUR projector you absurdly stubborn mani. Please listen to Nolan’s/Daniel’s(?) guidance in my place after helping him learn his design, especially his authority. Help him build his team. Maybe explore your insecurity around not wanting children if you haven’t already. (This was written well before our talk) DayLuna’s podcast on deconditioning is perfect.
I’ve been hubba hubba all over you since the moment you lectured me on the importance of grass FINISHED beef, and fell in love when you told me I can’t come over to your place. On 1/23/2021, I received a message that you were my soulmate. I tried to push it out of my mind and focus on enjoying Big Bear with the in-laws. On 1/25, I saw your Instagram story of you making a grilled cheese sandwich with sliced apples, and I immediately knew it was true. However, remember that night you suddenly broke down over dinner, right around the same time I had that second “spiritual experience?” I watched my soul break up with your soul that evening, and I came to that conclusion before I knew you had your breakdown. I think some version of us is married somewhere, and my former mistress, Yaquelyn Molina, is meant to be my partner here on this earth? (Update 5-27: saw pregnant Yaquelyn yesterday, Saundra is the woman I want Update 6-14: I want both.) But I still get signals sometimes that it’s you. This is a confusing subject for me. Regardless, I feel a tremendous amount of love for you and treasure your friendship🌈
I have already been working closely with your mother, I just don’t know how to share this experience with you without making you think I’m insane. We will be helping you spread HD, Kangen, regenerative agriculture, and all your beautiful ideas the best we can. Maybe you can get hdbee, Jennazoe, and other readers to work with Nolan to update HD’s software suite. I don’t want anybody to ever be financially blocked from learning their design, self-study must be encouraged, and HD info really needs to be consolidated efficiently. Next to my condo there’s a water store, and the owner’s name is Sean. Try to work with him in your kangen business, he’s a good man and will want to help out (this is questionable, he has grown a distaste for me) Try out Qi Gong to supplement your study of tcm, there are great videos on YT. If you want a more personal conversation with our side, consider Astral Projection. I think my brother Alex will be able to help. That massage gun is actually an incredibly useful tool for reflexology, if you think high-frequency vibration isn’t effective at stimulating both meridians and nervous tissue you are nuts. Just use less pressure when you want to be gentle or target surface tissue.
Yaquelyn Jasmine Molina, the Dead and Company concert I attended 12/27/2019 is the first time I remember receiving a message from God. He told me I needed to go back to my wife. I resisted because I didn’t believe in God at the time, but I eventually knew that it was the right thing to do. I’m sorry I put you through everything I put you through, I didn’t understand how painful it was for you and I was too weak to leave you. Thank you for bathing me with your blissfully generous love and passion when I needed it the most and deserved it the least. I want you to know that I have not been with another woman since you left, and you played a critical role in helping me be a better man. I hope you visit the Mary statue from time to time. I’ve already felt Yaquelyn Molina Dardin, so I know you’ll always be with me. I request the chance to return the favor.
I can remember the precise moment I fell in love with you. It was quite soon after we had started seeing each other, I was walking in the complex towards your condo, you were walking out of your condo to your garage, you caught a glimpse of me at the last second before disappearing behind a wall and took a few steps back to smile and wave at me. My heart instantaneously melted into a pile of goo watching you. There are so many heart-warming memories shared with you, thank you for showing me what love can be.
Update: I’m getting a divorce ASAP and coming for you. You’re the woman I want. Whatever problems we have, we’ll pound them out.
Grant, your call proved to a 32-year-long staunch atheist that God exists and is present here on earth. I don’t have to explain to you how life-changing that is. I get the feeling that you’re meant to be a YouTube star of sorts, and my buddies Nolan, Jeremy, and Cesar may help you out. I can’t imagine a more potent missionary than you man, get Saundra’s help in learning your design and go spread the word. Listen to Elliot Hulse and consider joining the KING program, knock it out of the park in the program and he will expose you to his whole audience of 1M+ young men looking for direction. I feel like my family friend Mitch can help you out with the vape company. Soulmates exist, don’t be a slut. If you need a Bible scholar on the team, my old buddy Simon Melendez is your man.
Simon, few people on my team understand the importance of scripture. There are very few minds I respect more than your’s, please help them understand the wisdom of the Bible if they’re open to it.
Cesar, I haven’t known you long and I know we’re not super close, but I just get the feeling that you’re real important for bringing us all back together. Plus you’re a cool guy, you and my friends will get along. Never stop making music man.
Mina, thank you so much for your kindness towards me. You radiate positivity and I aspire to be more like you. Keep on doing what you’re doing, I will be trying to reach you through Sesshin meditation. Please say hi to the Mary statue from time to time, I’ll be there often. My friend Saundra, brother Alex, and sister Brianna could really use some of your reiki healing. As could my mother and sister, if they are open to it.
Sean Smith, I would have loved to chill with you more. I miss shooting the shit with you and just hanging around at 24. Your friendship really helped me get through a confusing time in my life. Try out the Breathwrk app, you’d be amazed at what proper oxygen intake can do for your performance, physique, and mood. The $15 DailyOm course on fascia stretching will also change your clients’ lives, I feel so much better and am so much more mobile after just 2 weeks it’s insane. The combination of David weck’s ideas with Naudi Aguilar’s ideas will fix any ailment and make physical phenoms out of everyone. Adam Poock is also the man, don’t neglect the hands. Get with Wes, consider joining my other friends in Elliot’s program, and fix up some fascia.
Mitch, it would be awesome to chill and smoke some time. Cannabis is truly a holy sacrament, please assist any friends that may need help in procurement. My buddy Grant is involved in a vaping company, get in touch with him and consider making a combination of thc extract and nicotine together in a vape pen. Also get in touch with the H3 cannabis church in Costa Mesa, I feel like you can all help each other out. I’ll be trying to relay Q-related info to you, keep following Alex Jones.
Brent, you’re a good man and I want you on my team. Follow Saundra Heimark and take her advice to heart. Hit up Sean and start working out again if you’re not already. The founder of Mariner’s church predicted that Jesus would return in 1988, so maybe attend a few services over there and get to know the community if you can.
Dad, thank you so much for teaching me chess so early and making strategy so deeply intuitive for me, as well as your love and affection. I wanted you to know that my high school troubles were never related to your financial struggles at all, I was completely oblivious to money problems at the time. The Bible is a story of redemption, and it does say to honor thy father, so I ask the rest of my family to give you another chance in helping you help yourself. I know what you want most is to have your family back together, so seize this opportunity. Let go of any old lingering resentments and be the head of the household you were meant to be.
Aunt Lynn, follow Saundra’s health advice, and see if Naudi Aguilar will work with you. If not him, then another Functional Patterns trainer. They will fix your pain if you do this.
Paige, I have no idea how you’re doing, I don’t think you’re too interested in my friendship right now. When you blocked me, I think you misinterpreted my sentence. I can’t remember the words I used, but my meaning was that your friendship is important to me. I’m happy to see that you seem to have a more active religious life now, I will certainly be trying to say hello and help you out.
Sam Harris, “when you understand that what you should want is to experience your love for your friends and their love for you, selfishness fuels generosity” paraphrased, but thank you for that. Rational self-interest ala Ayn Rand and Utilitarianism encourage identical behavior when you understand what you are, how we’re the same, and how we’re different.
I have many former clients from 24 that would be delighted to help my friends pursue this goal in any way they can. My friend Sean can help you get connected there. Ewa, Mia, Brent, Scott, Debbie, Diane, Udo, and more but my brain is fried right now. Darron, thank you for showing a genuine interest in my personal success. It means a lot to me. 2023.05.26 18:26 DynastyPT The Top Players I am Selling as a Physical Therapist
Article with cleaner format Disclaimer: I am not saying that these players will definitely get injured or underperform, it’s impossible to predict that. I would consider myself pretty risk tolerant to “injury prone” players, but these players are too risky for me personally. This list will be biased toward older players with significant injuries and other specific injuries.
The Achilles Guys Cam Akers, D’onta Foreman, Sterling Shepard Akers We’ll start with probably the most controversial: Akers. After the last year being a roller coaster, he ended the year with 4 games with a huge snap share and decent games for fantasy. While he could hit value due to being the only guy in town, I don’t trust McVay to let him carry a huge load over a whole season, and I don’t trust someone who tore their achilles to perform consistently at a high level. I will acknowledge that achilles surgery has significantly improved over the years, but I’m still not willing to take the risk until I see it in the NFL. Valued as the
RB27 on KTC and even though he has limited competition, I see too many paths for him to finish way below that.
Foreman Valued as the
RB55 on KTC, you may be tempted by his value here. He was inconsistent last year while having really good games and really bad games. His situation is worse this year with the bears with a ton of capable RBs on the roster, I don’t see any path for him to get a sizable share of the workload that would be relevant to fantasy. After tearing his achilles in 2017, he was essentially irrelevant for fantasy and I expect more of the same this year. I believe that 2022 was an outlier due to very specific circumstances on the Panthers.
Shepard Don’t do it. 30 year old receiver coming off an ACL tear and achilles tear. Crowded WR room. He should be dropped in almost all formats.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Head and Neck Injury Guys
Matthew Stafford and Tua Tagovailoa Stafford Stafford stated himself that he considered retirement this off season due to suffering a hit that caused pretty severe neurological symptoms. The more I think about his situation, the more I think that one bad hit could be a career ender for him. He may have a weak spot in that same area and wouldn’t be surprised if he suffered a similar injury. I also can’t emphasize enough how much I think this might impact him psychologically as he may fear taking similar hits. There’s also good evidence that shows that a lot of elbow pain/injury originates from the cervical spine (neck). Not saying this is definitely the case with him, just another variable to consider. Valued as the
QB32, I would stay away unless you’re a contender absolutely desperate for a starting QB.
Tua Similar situation as above, valued as the
QB15, that’s a little too high for me for someone who also considered retirement this year. Tua stated that he was trying to learn how to fall this offseason with Jiu Jitsu, and again I’m worried this will have a psychological impact on him and he could be consciously thinking about how he should fall when he gets sacked. Not something I want my QB worried about.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Older ACL guys Zach Ertz and OBJ Ertz Coming off an ACL tear last season at 32 years old I am not expecting much production from him this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cardinals are hesitant to give him volume as they’re likely looking at a rebuild, and they might want to see what they have in McBride. In the rehab world, we know that year 2 after ACL is significantly better than year 1, which would leave Ertz as a 33 year old TE on a rebuilding team. If possible, I’m selling to a contender. Currently the
TE36 on KTC, hopefully you can sell him higher due to name value.
OBJ This is one I don’t feel strongly about. On one hand, he’s the
WR 78 on KTC and he is a big personality and will demand targets. On the other hand, he is part of crowded WTE room in Baltimore, and it’s concerning to me that no one wanted him at the end of last season. As I said, we expect him to be better in year 2 following ACL surgery, but just I can’t get grade him as a buy due to his age and other factors listed above. Let me know how you guys feel about OBJ
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brian Robinson Valued as the
RB34 on KTC, before last season he was shot in the hip (glute) and the knee. Based on the eye test, he did not impress and hovered around a 50% snap share. If Gibson can get his fumbles under control, I wouldn’t be surprised if he took over the backfield. I’m also relatively concerned his injuries and wonder if that’s why he did not pass my eye test, as a PT I think it’s safe to assume that his rehab team has probably never rehabbed an elite athlete who got shot in the leg multiple times. I think there are way too many circumstances where he will finish under RB34 and I would try to sell.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me know if there are any questions, disagreements, or guys I left off the list. I love fantasy and always welcome a civil disagreement.
Also trying out different length posts, let me know if you prefer the quicker hitting stuff or the longer explanations.

2023.05.26 15:37 Karen_Solbach Series Finale - Why we don't have a happy ending in our beloved series
First of all I’d like to say that I'm writing here only about the writers' choices in the series finale and about my point of view, NOT the quality of the Chuck’s series as a whole (storytelling, characters or actors' performances). I love so much the show and its characters, I love Chuck & Sarah together as a couple. Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Adam Baldwin and Joshua Gomez... I love you guys, you’re the Best! So here it is.
It took me a while to understand the main reason why I felt like things weren't right in the last 3 episodes of my all-time favorite show. I just couldn't figure out what it was. But finally I was able to be aware what was going on.
Is the sensation of having been robbed! The writers stole everything from my favorite show! That’s it!
When we are robbed, we are sad, angry, outraged, frustrated, thinking it wasn't fair, with a feeling of loss about the investment we made... So there's no way the Chuck’s finale can be a happy ending, since the feelings that were awakened in me are exactly the opposite!
Let's see what the writers STOLE from me in the last 3 episodes:
* Sarah Walker and Sarah Bartowski – This Sarah who appears out of nowhere is not the Sarah we've seen at any point in the series. It is not the Sarah who concluded her journey from but a spy to a complete woman, fully connected with her feelings in the Baby episode, living a real life in a real and beautiful relationship with Chuck. Much less the intelligent, high-qualified and capable professional before meeting Chuck. This new Sarah cannot be explained just by suppressing her memories. This new Sarah is inept and unscrupulous, has no moral boundaries. She doesn’t have instincts, intuition, compassion, and empathy. She has no qualms about marrying – and having sex with - her mark (so she thinks) for five years!!! If this woman is really the "real” Sarah, then we've been cheated the whole time, since she is the opposite of the way Sarah behaved throughout the entire show. COME ON! She wasn't smart enough to distrust Quinn's very poorly crafted story. She wasn't able to drop Quinn down on the plane. Our Sarah would have killed them all before they sensed her presence! She is no longer a super-spy or even a good spy like she says. Our Sarah is no longer there. Even if this new Sarah falls in love with Chuck and they end up together (which is just an assumption), she without her memories is just an empty shell. Sarah is a lost woman who has no idea of everything she has achieved in the past 5 years. She has became an object to be conquered, a prize. It is so sad for the amazing woman that was Sarah Bartowski, for all that she was able to grow. And I’m not sure if this new Sarah we were shown is ever really right for Chuck. My favorite character was killed 3 episodes before the finale and never came back. The writers not given permission to Sarah redeem herself! Or at least for her to recover. What a pity I feel for Yvonne S. having to see and play her much-loved character destroyed.
* Chuck Bartowski – The Chuck of the last episodes is not the master spy nor the smart guy we know and love. How did he NOT REALIZE WITHIN MINUTES that Sarah in front of him wasn't Sarah Bartowski? That there was something very wrong there! Why instead of talking to Ellie did he not talk directly to Sarah in a loving way (“Baby... you don't look ok. Tell me what happened. You are hiding something from me.”)? How did he not show Sarah her spy will or the drawing he did in the bullet train that she swore she'd never forget? Or their wedding vows and their prenup papers? Why didn't he show to her a picture of the whole family together including her mother and Molly? Why didn't he call her mother immediately to Burbank to support her daughter and explain her the things? Better... Why Chuck and Morgan didn't go with Casey to deliver the spy logs to Sarah? Chuck would not enter the room, but with a bug placed by Casey, shortly after she watched it, he would show up to talk to her! MY GOD...IT'S HIS WIFE!!!! His soulmate, the love of his life! How he let Sarah go at the end of E12 just saying Goodbye? When Sarah says she doesn't feel, there's a possibility that this isn't entirely sincere. Didn't he tell Sarah just before “you’re not as good a liar as you think you are”. How did he not accompanying to back her up on the hunt for Quinn? That cost him 2 weeks without Sarah. She could have been killed, as she as a spy was compromised. What husband is this? Isn't he a spy too? And finally, how did he let Sarah leave the Castle without offering help, without being more incisive with her??? Did Chuck forget all the lessons he learned from Agent Cole Barker (S02E16 - “I got a not-so-secret secret for you. You want something bad enough, don’t ever take no for an answer”) and Ellie (S03E12 – “You didn’t go far enough, Chuck. Sarah is special. I know it. You know it. If you love her, if she’s the one, then you don’t stop. You don’t quit. You never go too far. You are a Bartowski, Chuck. Start acting like one.”)? Lessons that made him and Sarah finally lovers. Definitely not the Chuck I saw in all series. This Chuck didn't fight enough for his Sarah. The writers also stole him from us.
*The reason of the show's existence - without Chuck & Sarah together, loving and caring each other, their evolution as people and as a couple, without the absurd chemistry between Zach & Ivonne on the screen, there is no Chuck series. There is no romance, the most solid pillar of the show. We saw it in S03E01-13 and it didn’t work at all. Again in S05E12-13, this new Sarah is like a wooden board, a robot, emotionless. Chuck and Sarah ended the series into a plethora of unanswered questions, not in a relationship and not in love. In fact, they are virtual strangers.
* The Bartowski’s Family & Friends – What a happy ending is that dismantles the core of the show, family and friends. Chuck's anchor that was one of the reasons Sarah fell in love with him. What kind of sister is that who is going to live 2000 miles away when her brother – and Sarah - desperately needs her. She is a neurologist!!! This goes against the entire Ellie's 5-year-old character. How could she leave Chuck and Sarah like this? And Mama Bartowski goes away too! That’s unbeliaveble!
* The Bartowski’s Team – Neither the CIA, nor the NSA, nor the world have a Team Bartowski anymore to save us from the bad guys. Casey has gone after his love, Chuck is torn apart and Sarah is now incapable of being a spy.
* The growth of all the main characters – All the characters are out of their minds in these three episodes. They all returned to some point pre-Chuck Pilot episode. The unique exception is Morgan.
* A lighthearted fairy tale history mixed with spy stories and comedy with some hints of drama – There is no more fun and joy here! Only anguish and despair. Chuck series became a tragedy, a horror-thriller movie, completely different from the show I loved. It's tense, harrowing, dark on a very high level. Is our beloved Sarah become the embittered CIA agent Kate Morgan (24 Hours: Live Another Day, 2014 series where Yvonne S. played this character)? No... this other character is just cold, without facial expression (they wasted the Yvonne's best). She's not a evil woman. And all the anguish of this other supposedly anguishing series isn't reach 10% of the anguish of these Chuck's last 3 episodes. And hurts a lot to see my beloved characters suffering like that. Sarah being horribly brutalized is absurdly hard to watch (end of E10, my all time least favorite scenes). The evil Sarah kidnapping Ellie and almost killing Chuck several times too. The feeling of loss is extreme and at the end we don’t have a pay off enough for all of this. These scenes belong on some other show, maybe a dark dystopian comic book fanfic. Only in something like that we could imagine a Chuck vs Sarah episode. It's not fair or deserved for Sarah, for Chuck or for us fans. For those who say this arc is important to show that Chuck can win Sarah’s heart without Intersect, this was already shown in Chuck vs Phase Three. We all know that. We saw it! The last 3 eps to me are just garbage.
* A proper closure to the show – Sarah got her feelings and memories back? Did Chuck and Sarah get together happily ever after? We don't know and we never will know, because we weren't told. We must ASSUME that A) with the magical kiss she was 100% back or at least she found her love for Chuck back Or B) she fell in love with Chuck one more time without her memories came back Or C) she became a useless spy and is no longer able to spying, as she has lost at least 5 years of situational awareness - she doesn't know who is friend or foe, her last missions and the only person who can help her is Chuck. Casey walked away, not concerned for Sarah's well being. Hence the only thing we know is that Sarah willingly or unwillingly is attached to Chuck in those scenarios Or D) she chooses to wander the world alone. Which would also not be an impossibility to be considered for the wild, cold fish, lone wolf Sarah who was introduced to us at E12-13. It would be better Sarah had killed Chuck in their dream house.
So we don't have a happy ending in our beloved serie. Is this an “love letter” to whom? For me it wasn't. Instead they stole my favorite show! Hence we really need a sequel to give a proper closure to Chuck & Sarah! A real happy ending! Zachary L. & Yvonne S., are you two still around?

2023.05.25 23:17 MrRogersNerdyHood Is Muscle Better Than Magic?! - Mashle: Magic & Muscles
https://youtu.be/Y-5yWNrNOJE Only in Anime can a character exist that is so physically gifted that they can actually rock the shit out of an ultra powerful wizard. Mashle shows that dedication and hardwork beats magic all day. Imagine saitama fighting Draco Malloy. It’s silly and really dumb but somehow I’m back each week watching Mashle Magic and Muscles.
Comedy is hard unless you plan on creating mass produced network television, which seems to have given up on doing the one thing it’s supposed to do… be funny.
this is one of the many reasons I appreciate Anime. Almost every season there are shows trying their hand at Comedy. Comedy in anime is subjective. A moment that some viewers find hilarious. Others will find cringe.
It’s a risk to take on a comedy in the first place. You’re starting by immediately segmenting your audience into those that love it and those that are repulsed by what you find funny. But after the jokes that are written, you can’t let off the gas as more hurdles await you. Is the line delivered with the intended comedic timing? Do you sell the joke with some dopey animation? And of course the fears. What if no one thinks it’s funny. Maybe even worse, what if people think it’s funny when I’m trying to be serious?
I think the biggest hurdle comedy has today is- once you find that elusive sweet spot, how do you maintain that level consistently across the show?
And that’s one of the things I’ve appreciated about Mashle magic and muscles. It’s consistently delivering at the same level week in and week out. If that level is good or bad will vary viewer by viewer.
This mob psycho looking, Harry Potter stealing, black clover imitating show makes me laugh at loud at least once an episode.
Whether it’s Mash backhanding a powerful spell away, playing quidditch by treading the air like he’s in a swimming pool, relabeling his speed as hamstring magic, or bitch slapping a mandrake. My eye rolls turn into chuckles. And by the end of an episode I’m in a much better mood than when I started it. And I think that is the mark of a good comedy.
But what really gave this high marks in my books is the absolute roasting of this Pervy character!
Good guy mash keeping anime classy. Honestly he is such a likeable main character which is just another reason I love this show. It’s a power fantasy In Which being a good person helps you get ahead. Mash must read spider man comics in his spare time because he embodies the saying “ with great power comes great responsibility.”
I’m not going to pretend this is an all time great comedy. But I’m having a blast with it. In fact, it’s turned into a game of what thing from the Harry Potter IP are they going to blatantly rip off this week.
It’s the perfect counterbalance to a heavy serious show. Like, when you watch a scary movie that freaks you out more than you expected. You turn on the lights and watch a comedy. Mashle is the anime equivalent. It’s the lime wedge to a tequila shot.
If you’re looking for a chuckle or something to pair with your psycho thriller or your violent Seinen, then consider Mashle, but hey, maybe comedy anime is not your cup of tea, follow me over here and let’s talk about heavenly delusion. Don’t forget to subscribe and I’ll catch you in the next one.

| Another retro fancast I passionately love! Thanks to AllStarDoomsday1992. I’ve always loved 80’s actors like John Cusack, Matt Dillon, Maxuel Claufield as Peter but Zach Galligan is honestly unbeatable. He literally looks like John Romita Sr’s Peter with how he looked and dressed in Gremlins. 2023.05.23 10:34 AnimeNightwingfucku Things I would want on drop out in a perfect world
I understand that for reasons like budget, time, and staffing they simply can’t do all the things they want to do. I also understand that even if they did, they probably would have different (ie better) ideas for shows than I would.
Having said that, here’s a list of shows and ideas I would want to see from Drop out in a perfect world.
- Regular Adventuring Academy (Doesn’t have to be hosted by Brennan, and doesn’t have to be every week, but a regular flow of adventuring party would be nice. Especially with all the new AA bits they did recently.)
- Drawfee or something similar (My understanding is that Drawfee isn’t owned by college humor anymore, but I love that show and would love something inspired by it.)
- Sketches (I know CH does more improve now, but I’m an old man and I miss sketches. Even if the sketches came sporadically, it would be nice to get them everyonce in awhile.)
- Podcast (I would love the return of a podcast. Doesn’t have to have regular spots, though I would prefer one host.)
- Breaking News (Honestly not sure why they don’t do this more. Seems cheap to make and I can’t imagine many expenses other than paying the cast.)
- Book Club (I actually really liked this series and I wish it came back.)
- DnD animated (Again I understand this wouldn’t be a regular thing, but it would be nice. Could even commission fans for cheap/exposure.)
- Miniature Painting/Dimension 20 Behind the scenes (I would love a show where it dives into the production and mini making of D20.)
- Dorkly (Again I don’t think they’re run by college humor anymore, but if possible I would love more of them.)
- Cut For Time (Randomly uploaded or uploaded every game changemake some noise season, this would be fun)
- Something to introduce new people (Idk why but I would love a show where comics and performers in the LA area just…preformed. I think it would be a great opportunity for new faces to shine and for Dropput to scope out funny people.)
- RPG testing (A show where they do one shots to test game systems other than DnD)
- More escape rooms (I loved the green room episode of game changer, but if they did that every time it would defeat the point of game changer. A show specifically for escape rooms could solve that)
- Gaming (People on the show like Zach and Siobhan have mentioned playing lots of video games. Why not just try out making a show out of it? Doesn’t have to be heavily edited. I honestly don’t know if this would be good but I’m surprised they haven’t atleast tried it.)
That’s all I can think of at the moment, but if you guys have any other ideas you would want to see on Dropout lmk! I love this website and I want it to succeed so even though I doubt Sam will start a show just based on a Post we can all dream lol

| He seems like a really nice guy. I asked him if he was asked for any input on Aang’s characterization for the Netflix show and he said he wasn’t because he was only 12 when the show aired. 2023.05.20 14:54 iNoBot Defending the Draft: 2023 Los Angeles Rams
To sum up the theme of the 2022 Rams season in a word: Ouch!
The team was both painful to watch and, apparently, painful to play for. Injuries decimated the team, especially the offensive line, save for iron-man Rob Havenstein, who might not be physically capable of moving fast enough to get injured. Guys were basically meeting each other for the first time in the huddle. By the end of the year, everyone who was anyone was injured. It was the cool thing to do. Although, after being one of the healthiest teams in the league for the majority of the Sean McVay era, I suppose some regression was bound to happen. All in all, it led to a 5-12 record, McVay’s first losing season as Head Coach.
Key Losses: Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Floyd, Allen Robinson, Baker Mayfield, Bobby Wagner, A’Shawn Robinson, Troy Hill, Matt Gay, Taylor Rapp, Brandon Powell, Riley Dixon, David Long, Greg Gaines, David Edwards, Nick Scott, Matt Orzech
Key Additions: Hunter Long, Mike LaFleur, Brett Rypien?
tldr: Everyone. There were more departures that I didn’t list because they’re unsigned or weren’t starters.
To listen to GM Les Snead say it, what the Rams are doing is a re-tool, not a rebuild. I say semantics. One needed to take no more than a peak at the defensive depth chart after free agency to know this sucker is being taken down to the studs. Not only was the roster turnover high but so too was the coaching staff turnover. Mike LaFleur is the big addition, and while he wasn’t exactly successful in New York, at least he brings experience to the room, something Liam Cohen lacked in his lone year as OC.
Draft Philosophy: It seems the new market inefficiency, because the front office loves corporate-speak buzzwords, the Rams hope to exploit is player size. In a sport of size obsessives, they’re being a little more lenient with benchmarks at certain positions. If you can play, you can play, they say, as we’ll see throughout. The second, and it’s less a market inefficiency than a cap reality, is that they had to pick a lot of players in later rounds for cost control reasons. UDFAs are being paid so much now that a team like the Rams with limited cap space can’t compete. I’ll say this now so I don’t have to recount all the maneuvering below; trade backs should be taken as self-evident. It’s part of Snead’s ethos.
Let’s get to it.
Round 2, Pick 36: Steve Avila, Guard, TCU Ras Score Avila is a big dude, weighing in at 332 pounds, at a big position of need. He’s mobile and has plenty of positional flexibility on the interior of the offensive line. During his three-year career at TCU, Avila played both guard spots, center, and even some right tackle. Last season, he started all 15 games for the Horned Frogs at left guard and was credited with zero sacks allowed. Currently, his pass blocking is at a higher level than his run blocking, which leaves something to be desired considering his physical ability. Overall, he’ll need to refine his technique, but he should be an instant impact player. And the Rams are almost certainly hoping he’s a quick study, as the interior as it stands is some combination of Brian Allen, who was bad and injured; Logan Bruss, a second-year player coming off a major knee injury, who hasn’t played at all; Coleman Shelton, who was good and missed some time with injury; and Tremayne Anchrum, who broke his fucking fibula on like the first play of the game in week two. Yikes, man. The Avila pick should have been more obvious than it was, but the roster is so shallow at multiple positions that it wasn’t.
Round 3, Pick 77: Byron Young, EDGE/OLB, TENN Ras Score Young is an old prospect in terms of age, but young as a football player after taking a circuitous route to college football. Young managed a convince store before playing briefly at a military-affiliated college and eventually making his way to Tennessee. He’s a bit undersized as an EDGE/OLB and doesn’t have much bend, but he has elite straight-line explosiveness. He’s mostly the style of EDGE/OLB that the Rams have employed in recent years — lighter edge setters that push the pocket, play contain, and pick up clean-up sacks from the interior rush. It will be interesting to see how or if the scheme changes much this season. Raheem Morris asks outside backers to drop into coverage to make blitz packages work and keep QBs guessing. This is where Young is a mystery. How well he can play going backward and in space will determine quite a bit. Young and a few of the other draft picks I’ll be talking about will have a ton of opportunities to make an impact this year. The Rams depth chart at EDGE/OLB might be even shallower than the interior offensive line. It’s Michael Hoecht, a converted tackle, who is himself just learning the position and couldn’t set or maintain an edge last year, and a bunch of bodies. If any of these draft picks can play, they will play.
Round 3, Pick 89: Kobie Turner, DT, WAKE FOREST Ras Score Stop me if you’ve heard this one before; Turner is undersized as an interior player, weighing in at a slight 293. But Turner was a baller in college, both at Richmond and Wake. He’s an [incredibly bright player] who sees plays coming before they happen. He’s also a good singer, look it up. He tries hard in the run game and projects as a plus rusher. The obvious hope is that he can learn a few things from the king of undersized rushers in AD. The depth chart at interior defensive line for LA is better than other positions. Copeland, Brown III, and Brown VI are all proven NFL players, and none of them should stop Turner from seeing the field in 2023.
Round 4, Pick 128: Stetson Bennett, QB, GEORGIA Ras Score Do you think Bennett would be a Ram if Mayfield didn’t come in last season? Both players share a certain underdog moxie and record of success in the college ranks. Bennett was a controversial pick, no question, but he’s definitely a Snead and McVay kind of player. Anyone who has heard the stories of Snead at Auburn knows he likes to throw ‘em back, and he may feel a kindred spirit with Bennett. McVay, meanwhile, has always valued mobility in his backup QBs, and Bennett fits that to a tee. With Matthew Stafford’s age and recent injury history, Bennett has a chance to see the field this year and has proven, if nothing else, he’s always up for a challenge.
Round 5, Pick 161: Nick Hampton, EDGE/OLB, Appalachian State Ras Score The Hampton selection is why I think the Rams defense will look pretty similar to 2022 in 2023 scheme wise from a front perspective. This dude looks like a Rams EDGE. In fact, I’d say this was one of the easier scouts the Rams front office had to do this year. He’ll be asked to do in LA what he was asked to do at Appalachian State. He’s, of course, undersized, but he has some bend and is more relentless than skilled. Really where he’ll shine, if he plays, is in the Floyd role, where he’s the one dropping off the edge, while hypothetically Young is the opposite rusher more often than not.
Round 5, Pick 174: Warren McClendon, OT, GEORGIA Ras Score McClendon is a throwback right tackle. He’s big and physical and more than a bit of a plodder. It’s likely why he was in no hurry to do any athletic testing prior to the draft. But when your stalwart right tackle for the last seven or so years has been a big block of granite, like Havenstein, it probably feels like home. That’s what I view this pick as, Havenstein insurance. McClendon played a lot a Georgia and is battle-tested, which makes the perceived lack of upside okay.
Round 5, Pick 175: Davis Allen, TE, Clemson Ras Score If McClendon is a low-upside pick, Allen is a high-upside pick. Anyone who watched Clemson’s offense the last two years would tell you it’s bad. Allen tested like a better athlete than he plays like, but he has excellent hands and should be a plus in the passing game and red zone. Just don’t ask him to block. The tight end room is actually one of the more crowded positions on the roster in 2023. Tyler Higbee is back for the last year of his contract. Brycen Hopkins is still technically on the team, and one would think the team wants to get something out of Hunter Long after his inclusion in the Ramsey trade. Allen may be a bit of a late-round future play.
Round 5, Pick 177: Luka Nacua, WR, BYU Ras Score Nacua, in my eyes, is a one-for-the-coach pick. For the time being, Nacua projects as a gadget player with big upside. The exact kind of player McVay loves to select and then struggle to find a role for… Anyway, if they can get him healthy, clean up his routes, and get him catching the ball away from his body, look out. Nacua is special in the open field with the ball in his hands. Look for him to possibly be the jet sweep guy this year.
Round 6, Pick 182: Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson, CB, TCU Ras Score Talk about getting a baller at a budget rate. Tomlinson won the award for best CB in college football this year, and it was well deserved. He’s tough, a willing tackler, and can make plays on the ball. He comes from a family of elite athletes. He played mostly outside in college. He’ll likely be a slot corner for the Rams. And again, like every other position on the defense, he fits a need. He could be a day-one starter. The knock on Tomlinson is his size, which will make him a target in the run game and caused him to fall in the draft.
Round 6, Pick 189: Ochaun Mathis, EDGE/OLB, Nebraska Ras Score The book on Mathis is the same one as Hampton and Young. The only difference is that Mathis was less productive this year than the other two. But it’s a dart throw on an athlete that will be given a shot to compete. A tip for any FF players still reading this, pick up whatever RB is playing the Rams each week. Teams are going to run stretch, outside zone, and generally attack the perimeter with screens and such this season. The edge group is young and inexperienced, and the corner room is small and full of guys who don’t like to tackle.
Round 7, Pick 215: Zach Evans, RB, OLE MISS Ras Score It may sound ridiculous to say about a 7th round pick, but Evans could very well find himself as the lead back by the end of the season. Evans was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school and was mostly undone by personal choices off the field. When he played, he was a good player. And Cam Akers has been much maligned since tearing his achilles and spent parts of last season away from the team. He improved as the line gelled at the end of the season but is in a contract year, and McVay and co. will want to know what they have in Evans and Kyren Williams.
Round 7, Pick 223: Ethan Evans, P, Wingate The Rams went into the draft with no specialists on the roster. Evans will have the inside track on the job heading into training camp. He met with the Rams special teams coach pre-draft and was so excited anyone came out to see him that he said he was ready to walk to LA if he had to.
Round 7, Pick 234: Jason Taylor II, SS, OK. STATE Ras Score Taylor tested like an elite athlete pre-draft and was proactive for OK. State last season, recording six interceptions. The starters at safety for the Rams are probably set, but like every other position on the defense, if Taylor shows out in training camp, there’s no one stopping him from playing.
Mr. Irrelevant: Dejuan Johnson, DT, Toledo Johnson is small but mighty. He stood out at Toledo for two reasons. He was small even compared to the players on the line with him, and when he wasn’t double-teamed, chances are he walked the guard or center a yard or so into the backfield. It’s hard to know what to expect from him, but worse players are picked much higher than him every draft.
Notes: This was fun. I think I gained a better understanding of where the team is situated. A lot of young guys will play, good or bad. I anticipate the Rams playing more 12 personnel this season. They were already headed in that direction at the end of last season. Skoronik might continue to play the F role, and TE is nominally a strength on the roster. The receiving corp is a weird mash of guys who are all best suited to move/slot roles. Also, this team is seriously lacking a true X receiver. But most teams are. Kupp can do it adequately, but you’d much rather maximize him elsewhere. As stated above, run defense will probably be a problem. Unless there’s an unexpected breakout, there’s going to be a push and pull between wanting to play the best 11 and stopping the run. The Rams don’t prioritize ILB and did nothing to improve a pretty barren room in the draft. That’ll be something to keep an eye on as the season plays out. Just to reiterate, the thing with this draft is that it was done with an eye on 2024. Young guys will play, probably in the hope that a few turn into immediate quality, cheap one contract players. Next offseason, if all goes to plan and some of these guys hit, they’ll load up on established offensive talent for a run at the playoffs in a similarly shallow NFC and presumably use a pretty high pick on a blue chip talent. Of course, Stafford could get injured and call it a career, Donald could retire, and Kupp could end up being the next big receiver traded. Hello Caleb Williams, and a much slower rebuild.
Ultimately, whether or not any of the draft picks end up being good is anyone’s guess. But they will play for sure.
The starting lineups I anticipate at the beginning of the season are something like: QB - Stafford RB - Akers WR1 - Kupp WR2 - Jefferson TE1 - Higbee TE2 - Hunter LT - Jackson (I know the money says Noteboom, but an achilles is a tough injury and Jackson outplayed him in limited time) LG - Avila C - Shelton RG - Anchrum RT - Havenstein
LCB - Kendrick/Rochell Slot - Tomlinson LOLB - Hampton DT - Copeland NT - Brown DT - Donald ROLB - Hoecht RCB - Durant ILB - Ernest Jones SS - Jordan Fuller FR - Russ Yeast
