So my gf lost her virginity to a 22 year old guy when she was just 15. He groomed her so much she started to have blind trust on him. He was rough on her, was abusive to her. I love the horrothriller genre so maybe something along those lines? Also don't mind some more historical period plots? I have a couple ideas in mind, but I am down for a number of plots and stories so long as it isn't just a simple slice of life plot - gotta have a little extra something something - I am super open to ideas. Enemies to loves is a trope I enjoy way too much 😂 very angsty, very emotional, very love hate, cheering one moment, crying the next.
Big plot sorts I've been into/interested in writing as of late include

• Vampires (but not so much a modern setting, maybe more like fantasy/medieval?)
  
• Old west (open to a number of plots/scenarios with this one)

I typically write for male characters, y'know the mean ones with a soft spot for like one person? The "but I can change him" kind of guys? Yeah, those ones lol. Can also write for female characters as well! Side characters, and basically anyone as needed to progress the plot etc.
I have been writing OCs for the last little bit, but am also open to certain fandoms like Game of Thrones, Arcane, The Last of Us, RE 7 / 8, Red Dead... and probably more that I just am not thinking about.

I’m a screenwriter and my Japanese isn’t great but there’s so much more variety and bizarre styles in Japanese movies/TV than American ones imo and I’d like to check out some examples of how Japanese screenwriters put their ideas on the page. I have a whole folder of hundreds of English language screenplays but don’t know where to start with finding Japanese ones. In particular Love Exposure and any episodes of Ikebukuro West Gate Park (original series) or Mob Psycho 100 would be cool, though in the case of Mob Psycho and anime in general I wonder how often the screenplay format is even used.

I need some advice on choosing a program for the first time. I have been lifting since September 2021 and would consider myself a beginneintermediate lifter. I'm 19, 6' 2", 195lbs, and around 14-15% BF. I plan on being in a caloric surplus for the foreseeable future as well.
I'm doing 1RMs this week for the big 4, and so far been somewhat disappointed in my numbers. My Bench is 205lbs and Deadlift 455lbs. I plan on maxing out my squat and OHP in the next few days. Considering my top sets on my current regiment I expect around a 350lbs Squat and 135lbs OHP.
I want to start a program for the rest of the summer to get my numbers up, I've been considering nSuns 5/3/1 but not really sure about volume of accessories. Any advice on nSuns would be great, but would love to hear about other's experiences with various programs, especially as a newbie. I'd prefer to not spend money, but would consider it.

Piggy backing off the last post, what would you like for your kids to be given? My 4 year old’s birthday is coming up and I was thinking of giving out books and I guess school supplies? she's probably a good ten years older than me, I'm 22. i told her that it's probably because the people we loved and who were supposed to love and protect us were the ones who hurt us the most, so now our sense of "this person is good for me" is heavily shifted and we tend to trust those who hurt us more, since ethats what we know.

i was in a year long “relationship” if that’s what you want to call it. he led me on like extremely, he told me he loved me every single day, we were so close, had so much fun together, i thought we were soulmates. turns out he was just bored and his other friends were busy and the only reason he even talked to me in the first place was because i was “available and consistent” and “had no life”. he has a new girlfriend now and he says he’s learned his lesson and changed for the better from me. it pisses me off. i was never loved or cared for the way i did him and all i was was a life lesson. now i have to still deal with the trauma a year later while he gets his fresh start and love and a social life. it’s not fair. i’m over him, he was horrible to me, but the effects of what he did still hurt me. i wasted the first time i ever felt love on some sick dude who couldn’t be decent and none of it was real and now my whole perception of love is warped.

Hi everyone!! first of all: i just love the way my 20rt sounds. The dirty channel sounds big, dark and creamy and it´s perfect for me. It´s like a good hot coffee on a winter morning. does anyone have any good harness + leash recommendations? I have a 79 lb lab who is has good leash manners minus the fact that he’s reactive. I have tried the carhartt nylon duck training dog harness, but like many reviews said, it tore after a couple months. I am currently using the ruffwear front range harness with the matching leash, but I find that the harness is loose on the chest so it’s no help and the leash is so thin and flimsy that I have no control over my dog because it hurts to hold onto it. I probably might be overthinking this, but I have a guilty pleasure for matching harness + leash sets as I want my dog to look cute in his harness, I would love some feedback !

Warning: Pretty long venting
Recently, my (f17, 18 in less than a month) life just feels terrible lately. I graduated less than a month ago and so over senior year, my parents were stressing me out about college and ended up making me, practically forcing me, to enroll in this online college. My dad even told my mom that if I went to college on campus that he wouldn’t even help me out financially during college (parents are both PIMI but divorced).
Ever since I’ve been telling ppl that I’m going to an online college, they give me a weird face and ask why would I do that and not go to an in-person school. My college dreams were crushed and it’s been weighing on me for months. I originally wanted to go to NYC for college (where I’m originally from) but my mom shut me down real quick. So, seeing my best friend and everyone else from my class going away to college in the fall is really hard for me, so much FOMO and just being upset about me wishing I pushed back to my parents to tell them that I wanted to go to the college I picked, trying to please them. But I knew it wouldn’t have worked because in every universe, they wouldn’t be accepted by me moving away to a secular institution full of drugs and alcohol and kids partying.
But it can always get worse. My mom said that along with online college, I could regular pioneer. So yesterday I officially applied to start the same month as I start online college. I thought that maybe I could get a job at least while doing college to save up but even that plan she fucked me up. Now my mom wants me to do LDC, just making the decision for me. It just feels like every time I try to negotiate and please them, they make it 10x worse.
And to top everything off, my mom made me (asked and set it up) to start a Bible study with this new young girl at my hall like two months ago. So every Saturday, I go to her house and study the enjoy life forever lessons with her which means I have to prepare every Friday. And this Saturday, we will be talking about why being gay is bad because her father literally outed her to us… great.
My life is literally hell. I didn’t expect this to be my life after graduation. I wanted to move out and go to college, dorm, meet new friends, finally get a real boyfriend, extracurriculars, all the things I’ve seen in the movies. I was so hyped a year ago but now that will never happen because of the religion I was born into and my strict and PIMI parents.
Lately I’ve just not been myself. I’m sad all the time, I overeat way too much, I stay in my room watching TV shows and movies, and just can’t find any silver lining in my life right now. And like I mentioned before, my bsf is going to college an hour away so every time she talks to me about it, I feel envy even though I wish I could be happy for her.
And ofc I know that college isn’t everything but it was something that I looked forward to for most of my life and now I don’t have that anymore. And I love my parents but this religion has sucked so much life out of me lately that I don’t know what to do anymore and I don’t have nothing to look forward to. And, yes, I am crying as I type this but it feels a bit better to vent all this out. I can’t talk to any of my friends abt this bc they don’t know what being a witness is like, especially being PIMO. This is the only place where I can share my true feelings.
