2023.06.07 03:57 _unheard_of Why is my anxiety getting worse?

Like idk i am always sad i always feel lost even if i am with my friends i always just wanna sleep in my bed and do nothing..
I dont really understand nothing happened for me to be even sad its just there is this heavy feeling idk how to describe too like i have everything i need i have good friends in college too only two but yep they are nice people... but i am just tired and lost...
I hate it sometimes cause i can't really understand why i feel like heavy in my chest all the freaking time even if ntng really happens
God i am ranting...and the fact that i am the elder daughter of my family of three siblings and there is always this untold and expected responsibilities on my shoulder which never actually gave me a chance to be a kid,i had to look after them and my parents both had health issues like BP and all so we siblings always had to walk on eggshells not to trigger them..
And phew i always wanted to join an architecture school i even wrote entrance exams and my parents did accepted but to my bad luck i wrote engineering entrance too and i got hell of a good rank that i ended up getting into a good college with scholarship and yep i joined engineering lol thinking of jobs and salary, i wanted help my parents as early as i can...
And idk why my mom once suddenly called me selfish it just felt like i did everything for ntng actually...fuck i left architecture which i basically dreamt to join for almost two freaking years lol why am i even complaining it was me who joined in b.tech anyways not like my parents forced me to but they wanted me to join b.tech and boom the pressure was hell a lot to handle cause my parents have to pay younger sister and brother's tution fees too so i just decided to join b.tech and get a job to support ig but it all felt worthless at the movement she called me selfish lol maybe it was just a joke yeahh ig she was just joking...
Maybe i just need a break...this college is sucking my energy i have always been an introvert and anxious,i like my space and found confort when i was by myself but idk now its so hard i feel like over the years i have become so sensite and even more anxious like i feel so heavy in my chest over slightest conversations with others other then my two frnds in college, i dont even stand in the class once i sit on my bench and i feel anxious just to even walk in college like i feel so consious,i just wanna dig a hole and disappear and the fact that i have been trying so hard to overcome the anxious since years i used to be the host of our school i used to be a popular kid yes a quite one but known by everyone cause i used to dance and i was good in sports and studies all my frnds were extroverts in school so i masked my personality too and was basically trying too match their energy which i realised later in high school that it was so hard for me...
I doubt if even my best friend knew when i was hosting with her i used to clutch my mic so hard to stop my hands from shaking out of anxiety...and now in college i was determined to socialise but it was like a reality check for me the only friend i made is a girl which was my high school mate(she is also an introvert and she made a friend which eventually became my friend too so its always us three who be together in college that's it i don't really talk to anyone other then those two girls in class... i am trying really so hard to get better with my anxiey but seems like it just got worse i am tired i just wanna sleep lol without any voices in my head i just wanna sleep...

2023.06.07 02:58 sweetbabysquirrel A Wormhole's Heartbeat

The antimatter engines roared as it ripped open a wound into space. The crew of the GFR Ijin were too focused to pay attention though. Too early to call it successful. Though the newbie on board, well, he was mesmerized.
Xynder belonged to a recently spaceborn species and he was the first of his kind to be accepted into a galactic federation research vessel. He stood there watching space envelope itself and form into an infinite void.
The Ijin lurched forward, slowly making its way into the entrance of the wormhole. Shadows seemed to jump out and grab onto the ship, enticing it to enter. The navigation crew played a wondrous dance with those shadows, making sure to only enter at the time of their own choosing.
And then they were in. Traveling through the wormhole, but Xynder could tell something was wrong. As an empath, the tension amongst the navigators felt claustrophobic. All until the entirety of the ship seemed to jostle.
The ship shook to a simple rhythm. One, two, three and four. The ship seemed to bob up and down, calmly matching the rhythm of the universe. It was soothing. Not knowing any better, Xynder was worried until he felt the room’s tension subside. He looked around to see crew members jump up and clap. The captain came forward,
“We’ve caught the wave, all smooth sailing from here.”
Cheers broke out.
Now, wormhole travel wasn’t dangerous by any means, it was simply difficult. One wrong tug from those shadows and boom, you’re 15 light-years off course. One wrong mathematical value and off you go, into the ether.
But Xynder was left wondering why the wave was the sign. All that math, skill and talent of the navigators. Why did the wave matter?
So he started asking around. And one of the navigators answered.
------
Wormhole travel was dangerous centuries ago. Six centuries to be exact. The finer details hadn’t been sorted out yet. Forget wasting fuel or time, you might find yourself exiting directly into a star or crashing into a planet.
And six centuries ago, a human sorted out the finer details. Well, technically she’s the one who started it all.
Six centuries ago, humanity joined the greater federation. Among the first they sent out into the galaxy was an engineer, an engineer named Dawn.
She was slightly shorter than the human average though her personality was easily in the upper echelons. She never stopped smiling, though she learned to stop showing her teeth as it scared the other species. But that wasn’t the first thing the others saw about her.
You see, everyone expected a Deathworlder. A terrifying, monstrous specimen known for war and an agent of chaos.
What everyone saw was a human with Down syndrome and autism.
Humanity had long since stopped discriminating, knowing among itself that such differences bore no real meaning. But that memo about humanity hadn’t spread to the rest of the galaxy yet.
Whether it was an herbivore or carnivore, a prey or a predator species, everyone onboard the GF Destiny took advantage of Dawn.
They gave her tasks that would eat up her entire day. Then they’d laugh as she was scolded and punished by her commanding officer for failing to meet her quota. They would trip her down the hallways of the ship, or hide her tools away from her. A sort of retaliation for being a Deathworlder.
Dawn would smile and do as she was told, act as if nothing had happened. She wasn’t dumb. She knew what was going on. But she feared that humanity itself would be looked down on and she wouldn’t have any of that.
She worked on the engine, keeping it maintained. She fixed it when it was broken and, most importantly, she kept a journal full of ideas that could improve the engine and create better wormhole travel for all.
Though Dawn never got the chance to directly implement her changes.
The GF Destiny was ordered to open a new wormhole. One that was only theorized. Rather than opening and closing a wormhole each time, the mathematicians argued it was possible to keep a wormhole open permanently.
So off the crew went, hard at work. Far too busy to bother Dawn, she was finally left alone for the first time since she had left human territory.
The entrance was opened and it remained stable for several cycles. Then the exit was chosen, again left open to show stability.
Finally it was time to make the trek.
The navigation crew was nervous, though all the vectors were correct. Their flight plan was perfect. The engine was perfect
But 600 years ago, the finer details weren’t ironed out yet and so a few shadows lunged out and attached onto the ship.
To the outside world, the GF Destiny and the wormhole tunnel completely disappeared leaving behind entrance and an exit.
To the crew aboard, the alarms in the engine bay were blaring
The engineers aboard huddled around the engine consoles, ripping through them to find the problem. Several went into the corollary engines rooms and came out with terrible news. The engine was nearing critical mass.
Their engine wasn’t built on antimatter, but nuclear power. Rough around the edges but supplied ample power. Going critical though wasn’t on anyone’s maintenance sheet. No one was certified in “Stopping Nuclear Explosions
Fail safes in the engine bay turned off most automatic processes such that experienced professionals could fix such an issue physically. Luckily for the GF Destiny, there was a Deathworlder on board.
Dawn quickly took charge from her commanding officer, forcing most engineers to relay information back to the navigation crew or remain on the consoles to prepare to fix the issues.
She then turned around and charged into the nuclear core.
The engine bay was silent. Waiting for a sign, waiting for life or death, waiting for her.
A blinding blue light flashed for only a couple seconds.
Then the alarms subsided.
Runners went to report the news to the other crew, shocked engineers began fixing every error that popped on various consoles.
Until a second alarm rang, an alarm that didn’t blare but beeped in quick succession. They all looked up to see Dawn walking towards them, clutching her left arm.
Translators embedded into their bodies translated Dawn’s final words, “I fixed it.”
Though what they saw was no longer Dawn.
Her fingers were dark red and engorged. Her arm was riddled with blisters, deep enough to reach bone.
And her face when she spoke?
The left side of her face was completely melted. No skin, no flesh, only bone. Her left eye was glassed over, no hint of life while her right eye was darted around looking at everything all at once. There was blood dripping out, leaving puddles on the once-pristine engine bay floor.
Dawn collapsed. She was dead before impact.
To the outside world, the GF Destiny and the wormhole tunnel reappeared, though the ship seemed much worse for wear.
To the crew aboard, there was no longer a Geiger alarm going off. There was simply a trail leading to a puddle of blood, with no corpse to be found.
Cycles later, the scientific community demanded to know what happened aboard the ship. To delve into its findings and observations.
What they found was that a human had fixed the engine and now that human was nowhere to be found. The human was pronounced dead.
Humanity demanded to know what happened to their Dawn. Where was she? Was she okay?
And they were answered with news of her death.
At first that was a fine answer albeit a terrible end to such a bright star. The first human engineer to travel through a permanent wormhole and the first to solve its problems but at what cost?
But as with any death, an investigation started. And the longer the investigation took, the more humanity learned.
What her daily life was like. What happened the day of the incident. And where her remains were.
And as it learned of Dawn’s fate, humanity burned. It burned with unbridled rage.
And for the first time in its space-faring age, the galaxy heard humanity’s roar.
It was deafening.
With tears in their eyes, their voices screamed.
“So she was different, we’re all different you sick fucks. What’s wrong with you?”
“Why would you do that?”
“She was a Deathworlder? That’s not an excuse! There is no excuse!”
But what the galaxy heard the most was,
“We can’t trust you.”
Humanity retaliated the only way it knew how. With extreme force.
Politically, humanity paused its status as a federation member until changes were made as a galactic society. Terran science communities stopped all collaboration and rescinded access to all materials and information. Business partners paused trade, only allowing current shipments to be delivered.
Moreover, the Terran military began to occupy the space around Dawn’s last known location, where her body was most likely to be.
All scientific vessels were forced outside of the wormhole’s presence. Any military show of force by a galactic member was dealt with swiftly and surely.
No one was allowed near the Tomb of Dawn.
And humanity lashed out at anyone who tried.
A few months passed by with no signs of political easing when Terran construction crews began to gather around the wormhole.
A year passed as two immense statues were built.
At the exit of the wormhole lay Dusk, a planet-sized statue of a crying human female reaching out to the other statue, desperately wanting to help.
At the entrance lay Dawn, an even larger statue of a smiling woman, her arms wounded and her face damaged, as she waved goodbye.
A few years passed again with no peace in sight on the galactic scale when Humanity finally found Dawn. Or at least as close as they could get.
The Terrans heard it first, or rather, felt it.
One, two, three and four. A rhythm. A wave. The Terran ships seemed to sway, side to side in the same rhythm.
The other species around the galaxy also felt it. A soothing rhythm surrounding every wormhole.
Humanity came out of its rage to confirm and the galaxy answered in kind.
Decades passed before everything was well again, but it seemed that both Dawn and the universe had a response to the mess. A comforting message that transcended translation.
“Be well and Be kind.”
------
The navigator finished the story and looked back toward Xynder to find him crying.
“I thought your species couldn’t cry?”
Xynder wiped his tears with his wing, “I don’t believe we can actually.”
The navigator laughed, “Weirder things have happened because of wormholes.”
Xynder looked at the navigator, begging for an explanation. The navigator replied,
“594 years and they’re still looking for her Xynder. They believe, sorry, they theorize that the waves aren't some weird universal coincidence but Dawn’s doing. Perhaps, even her heartbeat. They think she’s still alive and trying to communicate with them. To help them find her body.”
Xynder started to tear up again while they both looked back out into the wormhole and its inky darkness.
“I hope they find her.”
“We all do.”

2023.06.07 01:12 Mondo114 Bob's Bargain in the Store

My shop currently has a purchase option called "Bob's Bargain", consisting of 3 random legendaries and 75 standard packs for $60 USD.
I usually get each expansions' prepurchase bundle, or, once in a blue moon, the mega bundle.
If I get this now, but don't open it until the next expansions comes out (so it's mostly new cards), is "Bob's Bargain" a better value deal than the normal prepurchase bundles (either or both of them)?

2023.06.07 00:03 KamatraCant Specific Question about How BCS spoils BB

Edit: I got a solid answer to my question, but anyone who is interested in the situation or wants to engage further is still welcome to do so. <3
I have a friend who struggled to get into Breaking Bad but for one reason or another Better Call Saul clicked for them and we’ve been watching it.
So, I’ve seen Breaking bad multiple times, and I’ve seen the first 4 seasons of BCS but not the last 2 seasons.
I know it spoils Breaking Bad a little in the first 4 seasons but it sounds like it really spoils it in seasons 5 and 6.
I was thinking about trying to pause BCS before the spoilers and convince them to give BB another go, but that’s only if the spoilers are really bad.
So my question is, what do the Breaking Bad spoilers, specifically in seasons 5 and 6, look like? Does it completely ruin the entire show to watching Breaking Bad after?
I don’t mind mild to moderate spoilers for the end of BCS, but if you can keep it as minimal as possible that would be cool. Getting my friend into Breaking Bad is more important to me.
I’d appreciate any help. Thanks.

2023.06.06 23:46 Independent-Art2046 First Software Engineering role

Im a recent grad and have been working in a systems eng role for a year. I have a degree in Maths with Physics and recently got offered a software engineering role at a defence company.
I'm fairly proficient with Matlab and python, so I'd say Im a an intermediate level coding in these languages. However, a lot of my programming experience/skills from my current role and uni are related to writing algorithms to perform maths and statistics on data, etc. So I don't really have actual software engineering knowledge so to speak.
The interview for the SW role was fairly simple, some of the technical questions were related to things like version control, calling and creating multiple functions, etc. These were easy to answer and I was pretty surprised that I didn't find the interview too difficult overall. There weren't any sort of "coding test" either.
The guys seemed to really like me, even though I emphasised my lack of actually software engineering experience, but I received the offer a few days later. I'm currently trying to decide if I should accept this offer or not and wanted some guidance from the software engineering community.
The salary is great and is a big increase on my current grad salary. I'd be joining as a junior software engineer, but am still worried that I'll be out of my depth. I don't know the the fundamentals of software (I did some software testing for a while, a few months ago) or computer science, which I'm sure my software peers will. I only really understand coding when Im implementing maths, but that's it. I've never built any applications or anything like that. However, software engineering sounds fun and of course offers great salaries (for now) and I'm always keen to learn what's under the hood of technology products.
I find systems engineering so boring and process-y. Some parts are fun, but I've mostly experience boring verification and requirements management work. So a big part in me wanting to accept the offer is so that I can develop more technical skills and enjoy my work, which a software engineering career definitely will provide.
This is the stuff that's going through my mind atm, anybody have any comments on my thoughts? Some other things I'm thinking about and would love to hear some opinions on:
- Considering the recent mass lay offs, is software engineering a good career to be starting in 2023? Is it too saturated?
- How hard is it to move industries as a software engineer? I don't see myself in defence for the long term. Would prefer to be in Finance or Tech, since salaries are better (I think?) whilst offering the pretty much similar benefits as defence companies.

2023.06.06 22:01 xartin [CAN] Does an employee candidate blacklist exist? Exhausted my patience with being unemployed.

Hi HR peoples of reddit
I’m not sure if this is a good place to post this so apologies in advance if this post would be more appropriate somewhere else. If you have a suggestion should that be a concern this is the goal of posting this so thanks in advance for your consideration and comments.
I hope someone has some experienced advice to aid with resolving an ongoing concern related to a very suspicious persistent challenge I’ve had for several years securing employment in Information Technology systems administration and engineering roles.
I’ve been working in IT for twenty years, many of those years as a managed services IT systems analyst and engineer, I’m a Linux specialist and peer mentor or teacher regarded as exceptionally competent world wide by many students I’ve mentored or individuals assisted with IT systems diagnostics concerns.
I’m also a self professed autodidact, have never valued attempting a bachelors degree or attended a university however I pursued Microsoft certification in 2003, skipped the bachelors degree to pursue continuing education systems integration specialist program in 2005 and have been a participating and practicing volunteer Linux distribution developer and user support specialist also for twenty years. As a result I have a publicly visible proficiency history anyone can review online beyond my professional references.
My professional roster of references includes the University of Toledo, signed on letterhead before considering attending college.
My previous employment role was a senior level IT systems engineering role with a very comfortable salary however I've been unemployed for two years and everywhere i've applied has declined, several just stating “we can’t hire you” or it’s good we have many other candidates.
Any attempts to inquire about reasons for for declining to hire in contrast to what appeared to be some desire to want to have been left unanswered or with no response to consider.
I think my previous employer's manager f*cked my reputation somehow despite the positive reference I received and I dont know how but I have some suspicions that I have no knowledge of or familiarity to validate but have considered plausible.
My previous employer operates an award winning respected family owned digital media productions business and is very competent at that task. Every day working there was a pleasant experience akin to watching Bob Ross from my office window.
The staff is very talented and I enjoyed working there but the core infrastructure computer systems they relied on were relied upon too frequently with no secondary IT infrastructure leaving very narrow opportunities for maintenance. This frequently resulted in IT staff being forced to work on sunday mornings perhaps several times a week to update and reboot servers or replace failed storage server disks or other maintenance defect elimination chores if you valued the management avoiding your sphere of influence.
Of course no overtime was considered. the cold draft beer fridge was provided to help you forget about all the other things you could be doing with your weekend.
Extended durations of IT infrastructure systems use without maintenance for example continuing to use end of life network switch equipment for 14 years always eventually creates exponentially more significant reliability problems especially if you’re a business that never reboots for updates or forgot to service your air conditioning condenser units resulting in a July heat wave causing the aircon units to fail to chill and instead blow hot air, overnight... into a sealed concrete room full of server equipment.
I’ve previously been hired in my youth to maintain a bread oven but that was working as a pizza delivery chef. This server room had it not been discovered would have started a fire at very least when the backup tapes all reached flashpoint.
In addition both of the two previous IT staff members were fired or quit leaving all of the responsibility of a business’s IT systems with many defects and reliability concerns to me to attempt to address. Some of the issues I resolved were comical.
For example a 2 cent ethernet cable end with the important role of connecting the main network router to the ISP fiber optic connection disconnected the internet when wiggled slightly for a business with 60 employees because the cable end was stretched and rotten.
To be fair I enjoy these challenges but there’s realistic and reasonable volume of end of life systems affecting reliable business operations one person should have to address when that business entirely relies on Information Technology Infrastructure systems. I used to fix these issues with two to five experienced people as a managed services engineer.
To paraphrase the problems this place needed to be shutdown and tons of important equipment replaced, “everything” reinstalled and repaired but I was trying to duct tape and wood glue the holes in the boat, with sixty passengers while it was traversing an ocean. Both of the windows server virtual machines wouldn’t install winrar.
My manager at the time while a commonly competent digital productions manager appeared to believe his competency with IT systems infrastructure was more competent than they realistically were. Director or manager of IT was among this individual’s employment titles however this fellow had no IT qualifications and very limited skillset outside computer programming, business administration and digital media talents.
This created some tension when he was forced to display being inept due to inexperience to really understand complex reliability concerns including why using a video display cable reversed such as dvi to displayport was incorrect because micro electronics specifications. While that’s a minor issue the volume of defects and misconfigured IT systems was collectively more than someone with very limited IT engineering experience could comprehend.
I’m a competent IT systems engineer and saved their computer server room from starting a fire on a weekend and the hiring manager was under pressure to meet production deadlines that never considered maintainence shutdowns.
The relationship started to sour when the company owner tried to "motivate" me to participate in insurance fraud by offering legal assurances by signing cyber security eligibility qualifications documents desired by the insurance underwriter under false pretenses that would have assured the company eligibility for cyber security insurance renewal.
The insurance underwriter ultimately refused to renew the insurance policy until the qualifications were legitimately addressed which I offered to assist with, legitimately any way I’m able to contribute. It was noted business administration concerns are outside my wheelhouse.
This is a business that had also been compromised by ransomware and held for ransom. They had every operating system software update possible entirely disabled, were compromised, paid the ransom, recovered the data and then reinstalled all of the computers again with all of the software updates disabled.
As a result of the state of this businesses IT system defects at the time this business never qualified for cyber security insurance the previous year, before I was responsible for the entire IT department.
I politely declined to illegitimately affirm and sign the documents as I value avoiding being arrested or sued however the company owner and my manager didn’t appear to share my enthusiasm for motivating legal legitimacy. The illegitimacy wasn’t considered a dilemma for the scapegoat.
All of the IT system defects and end of life equipment reliability issues brooded tension where the company owner and hiring manager decided not to renew my contract. I was perhaps even a little pleased to be relieved of the burden of management inept at responsible or reliable IT systems ownership.
I had considered why they fired my predecessor and the other junior tech quit and moved to the opposing side of the country. Evidently that wasn’t a coincidence. If you don't want to answer phone calls a few time zones can become a great avoidance strategy.
After my contract renewal HR meeting with the production studio manager and HR lady had wrapped up where it had been agreed I’m leaving with a positive reference I did receive and still have for a senior role, unemployment eligibility due to the improvements to the company I completed or endured and the insurance illegitimacy circumstances I had believed everything was fine.
Surely there’s no cause to be concerned by this overall experience where the manager for reasons may have believed I was inept, considering all the IT systems I maintained during my employment term in contrast of all of the references and experience I posses.
My hearing isn't always that great because I have tinnitus so if I'm not paying attention to what someone is discussing nearby or perhaps even on a telephone I may disregard ambient discussions if I’m not observing someone speaking.
I recall the manager muttering something behind my back and the HR lady replying with a comment firmly stating with a concerned tone “but then nobody will hire him again...!?” which followed with what appeared to be a disagreeable exchange followed by the manager appearing to threaten to fire the HR lady if she didn't comply with his instructions.
I’ve suspected the instructions may have been to add my identify to some HR employee candidate blacklist database.
i'm not completely certain of or if what i heard being discussed was in relation to me because I have tinnitus or if that is legitimately plausible but I’ve exhausted willingness to continue relying on the positive reference I received despite having completed my contract term.
There is it. It’s a tale of plausible abuse by management of a senior employee that quite realistically saved a business from creating of sixty more unemployed employees but I’m still left with concerns if it was possible the HR lady, under duress of being fired from a new position had caved and done something to ensure I would never be hired by anybody.
The HR lady was fantastic but the management certainly didn't display motives with the utmost integrity.
Does anyone know how or if this would be possible?

2023.06.06 21:17 Diligent-Tie-5500 Humility Month

And we know that everything works together for good to them that love Yah, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Yah uses evil for the ultimate Good. The best way to position ourselves on the side of Good is to seek to remove any pride from our thoughts and actions. This is done moment by moment through examining our thoughts and rejecting the ones that suggest that we are better than our neighbor.
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Yah, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Cor 10:5)
Recently I felt disrespected by my neighbor and thought “He hasn’t done as much work as me”. As fast as I could, I rebuked this thought, recognizing it as a prideful assumption. I further reflected that my work is only possible through Yah’s grace, so to compare myself to my neighbor in such a way is blasphemous. Going deeper, this thought was rooted in my desire to be appreciated by my neighbor. If I was more firmly rooted in serving Yah, any perceived disrespect I felt would be effortlessly shrugged off, remembering that I am absolutely nothing without the grace of Yah. To avoid pride and stress, we must strive to fully root ourselves in the notion that our work and effort is 0% our own doing, and 100% Yah’s doing. Someone who roots themself in this fact will have great peace and be unmoved by insults.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Gal 1:10)
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him: but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (Matt 12:32)
Yah does not want us to feel stressed or insulted, He simply wants us to love and serve Him. Furthermore, to win the moment by moment war against pride, we ought to never lean on our own understanding, and instead consult with Yah in prayer about every situation. We should do this without allowing Satan to trick us with OCD-like thinking. Remember, any thoughts that bring about confusion are not from Yah, for Yah is not the author of confusion, but of Peace. If we feel stress from our thoughts, we ought to reset, focus on Yah in the present moment, pray to Him, submit to Him and calmly trust that He will guide our steps. Yah wants us relaxed yet focused on Him.
Submit yourselves to Yah. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to Yah, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. (James 4:7-8)
Trust in YAHWEH with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear Yah, and depart from evil. (Prov 3:5-7)
A man's heart devises his way: But YAHWEH directs his steps. (Prov 16:9)
Let’s remember Saul, a mighty man of Yah, who seemed to confuse Yah’s grace on Him as His own doings. When David received greater praise from people than he, Saul was filled with envy and rage. This envy and rage was rooted in Saul’s high opinion of himself and his desire to be praised by people. Saul’s thoughts and actions greatly displeased Yah, and led Yah to replace His Spirit on Saul with an evil one, leading to Saul’s destruction.
The Spirit of the Yah departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yah troubled him. (1 Sam 16:14)
Now let’s remember David, who was extremely blessed, largely because of his radical humility. Saul greatly desired to kill David, and David had the opportunity to kill Saul twice, yet David had mercy on Saul. Killing someone who desires to kill you seems like an obvious decision. However David chose to pray and consult with Yah before making seemingly obvious decisions. David received the discernment to have mercy on Saul, and let Yah deal with Saul according to His Righteous judgement.
Avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says YAH. Therefore if your enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:19-21)
The next time we begin to desire the praise of people or think highly of ourselves, let us remember that Saul’s demise began in his thoughts. Let us strive for the most pure form of humility, and follow David’s example by keeping Yah in our thoughts, and calmly consulting with Him about every decision, even the ones that seem obvious.
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to YAHWEH: But the words of the pure are pleasant words. The heart of the righteous studies to answer: But the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things. YAHWEH is far from the wicked: But He hears the prayer of the righteous. (Prov 26,28-29)
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, And before honor is humility. (Prov 18:12)

(Gal 1:10)
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him: but whoever speaks against the Holy **Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (**Matt 12:32)

(Gal 1:10)
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him: but whoever speaks against the Holy **Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (**Matt 12:32)
