After posting a few videos I’m trying to now settle in on a niche or a few similar ones. Currently the ones I’m pretty set on travel and NYC life/things to do but then I want to add a third topic to round things out. I have 4 options and I’ll give my thoughts on it:

1. Software Engineering/Tech: I work as a software engineer and I feel like this could be a good area since I have some expertise here. I’m just not sure how it’d mesh with the other two content types
   
2. Personal Development: always an area I’ve been interested in and thought a lot about. I’m always the friend/person that people come to for advice and help. They come back often so I think the help I give is helpful.
   
3. Cooking/Food: I’ve always loved watching travel cooking and food shows and I think this area might be the best mix with the other two content types. The thing is this is the area I have the weakest value prop I think. I think I have an entertaining personality but that would be it, I’m a meh cook. One thought is to turn it into a series where I’m learning how to cook and about food.
   
4. Photography: I’ve grown up around photography my whole life and it’s been a fun hobby I’ve had for a while. This is another area I feel like could be a good mix with the two content types but similar to the point above, I’m worried I’m not good enough to provide a strong value prop
   

What does everyone think? Does one of these in particular seem to fit/would be the best to combine with travel and NYC life content types?

I have a few questions about how co-management works when getting apps from the company portal.

1. I can see both Intune apps and configuration manager apps in the company portal as expected my question is if I want the apps to be available everywhere they have to be either Intune installed apps or I have to deploy them to the cloud DP in Configuration Manager?
2. If the computers are AAD joined computers on the company network do I need to add the CMG distribution point to any boundary groups or is it based off the computer seeing a Management point?
3. Do I have to add the CMG connection point role to all my Managements points or just one?
4. Out of curiosity I get that we can't remote to computers that are not on prem but if the computer is on the company network and the client has connection type as Intranet how come we cannot use Configuration Manager for remote control?

Tl;dr: artist beginner (not absolute though) working with oregon pine for the first time. Struggling to find info on google.
I guess what i'm asking for is:

1. What you think would be the best way to join the pieces to give a smooth surface like it's one piece. Would wood glue work?
   
2. What are issues i could run into? Jelotung was easy to work with but brittle, the density doesn't seem that different from oregon pine.
   
3. Ways i could protect it and finish it neatly.
   
4. Precautions.
   
5. Anything really.
   

Background: I'm an artist in South Africa planning to use oregon pine for a project I want to submit to a local competition. With my terrible time management I looked up when it closes and it turns out, now, in 5 days. We had an introductory wood project last year as part of my degree and would like to focus on sculpture in the future, so i'm not an absolute beginner. I want to show some skill in the project as well. Let me know what's the best way to do so.
Project: making a big VHS tape out of oregon pine with the tape inside automated with arduino. About 1000mm x 300mm x 180mm. I made a prototype out of jelotung last year so i'm not going in blind to assemble the pieces, but that was jelotung. Oregon pine fits the concept and seems fairly good to work with.
I've never worked with oregon pine before and i've tried looking on google but it gives me flooring and furniture sellers, where to buy it, and general info about what it is, but none about joining pieces, how strong should the drill pieces be, what i need to use to add the finishing touches and polish it (round it off like furniture pieces). One website pros and cons but nothing more. Any information (besides species and density) or help would be awesome.
I guess what i'm asking for is:

Credit to u/gaelicpasta3 for dropping a related insight on Teachers. The most affluent and best-resourced schools in the nation might have an on-time graduation rate in the mid-80th percentile, due to a variety of factors.
Any public school district claiming to have a higher graduation rate likely has many poor quality schools. It sounds counterintuitive, but graduation rates are a metric tied to state accreditation and funding, so lousy schools have learned to game the system to stay under the radar and appear far more successful than they really are.
These are typically underperforming schools experiencing high rates of absenteeism, where student behavior is out of control. An average student’s knowledge and skills might lag 3+ years below grade level. Functional illiteracy is extremely common.
Schools claiming to have very high graduation rates almost certainly provide far less rigorous instruction than average, passing students from grade to grade whether they’ve learned anything or not. Attendance rates are abysmal, and a student who was absent 80% the school year will often still get promoted.
Of course, much of the responsibility for this lies with parents, such as those who claim to have had no idea their child was failing, despite the kid being 18 and having only completed enough credits to be in the middle of 7th grade. Districts have adopted a customer service mindset, much to the detriment of teachers and students.
It’s become common practice for school administrators to force teachers to change grades, offer b.s. credit recovery programs, and cook the books in every way imaginable to claim high graduation rates, committing straight-up fraud. A student who showed up every day, paid attention in class, and worked hard to learn may receive the same grade as student who rarely showed up, slept through class, and did not bother to complete a single assignment all year.
It’s become a major driver of teacher resignations.
As school quality has a major influence on property values, it is a smart move to carefully examine a district’s graduation rates and not accept anything at face value. Even if you don’t have kids and have no plans to, talk to parents in the neighborhood, check out community message boards, and review performance ratings and reviews on sites like GreatSchools.com. Find out where school administrators send their own children.
Getting a great deal on a place located in a lousy school district will automatically limit the number of people willing to consider buying your house and negatively affect the sales price if you ever decide to move. It would be a serious mistake to glance at graduation rates and think “the higher, the better”.

Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent problem with my network infrastructure, where multiple devices are reportedly using the same IP address in the range 10.0.0.0/23. This issue manifests a few times per week, and it always appears to be the same. The notification prompts me to ensure that my devices are not communicating with a rogue DHCP server.
I also observe that occasionally in the Clients view, certain devices are shown to possess the same IP address. This, however, appears to be temporary, as it subsequently changes: the device takes the same address and then disappears, as if "bouncing" momentarily.
All my equipment comes from Ubiquiti. It includes:
- UDM Pro
- Three (3) USW-48-PoE switches
- One (1) USW-24-PoE switch
- Two (2) US-8-150W switches
- One (1) UAP-AC-Pro access point
- Eight (8) UAP-AC-LR access points
- Nine (9) U6-LR access points

I would appreciate your guidance on how to approach this issue. Are there any specific settings or options that I should pay attention to in order to troubleshoot and resolve this problem?

Libre - looking for other software
I have a CGM, brand name Libre 3. I love it, hate the software. I am looking for software that will turn my data into information. There has to more than the manufacturer software.
example: 1) you know the financial charts of money over time, and when you put your finger in the intersection point, the chart shows you how much money was loss or made. I am looking for that functionality on my daily history line chart. I want to be able to do a deep dive so i can understand.
2) Also looking for the software to tell me when or if i had a glucose drop after 2 hrs. of eating. I know this can be done, just don’t understand why they don’t do it financially.
Libre software sucks. There has to be software that can turn the Libre data into information.
If they don’t want to improve their software, I get it not their focus, then farm out the data to a 3rd party or even buy a company that is doing it.

I am developing an app and I found it to be very useful, and I am thinking of releasing it as a product. I wanted if it's worth it to release it. Most notably it will be less expensive than other apps that currently exist (probably in the ballpark of $15 and will also have a free version)
Main features:
1- social media curation: allows the altering of social media (remove stories from Insta or FB for example, or block distraction videos on YouTube completely)
2-versatile website/App blocker that allows you to control time spent hourly/ daily and the number of launches hourly/daily
3-Time tracker that allows you to view your usage and to export your data to .json format.
4- Strict mode: prevents you from altering your rules. could be bypassed using certain methods (password, solving some simple math problems..etc). Also there is an emergency mode that allows you to bypass it temporarily.
5- Disable incognito mode for browsers.
This app will be nearly impossible to bypass (you cannot use the task manager to simply end the task, or anything of that sort), but the website will have a tool to bypass it or remove it completely.
Would you be interested in buying an application like that?
