Disclaimer. I am currently master ranked offlane player who has been playing the game since launch competitively & casually, on all ranks between gold and GM. I took a bit of a break after the last guides but upon several requests to continue making these, I was inspired to continue making them again. This particular guide got extremely long due to concerning a fairly complex hero and I like being thorough with my explanations. Links to other guides can be found at the end.

Dehaka is one of the ‘’big three’’ bruisers of high rank bruiser play (The unholy trinity of HoggeBlaze/Dehaka) and while other bruisers do also see play, its difficult to find a game where all of these 3 do not exist in either bans or picks. Dehaka, while not any weaker than the other two and situationally stronger, he does have a bit more counterplay to it than the others.

Drafting Dehaka

Synergistic heroes
Dehaka works really well with things that can quickly kill a drag target that often rely on short range. Some examples below;

• Greymane
• Tychus
• Jaina

Additionally, heroes that have high duration powerful AoE effects that Dehaka can reposition people into with his Drag and his level 4.

• Malf
• Stukov

Heroes Dehaka can struggle into
​

• Junkrat Using steel traps in bushes near a fight makes for a miserable time to play Dehaka. You cannot really rely on Z flanks the same way you could otherwise since you might risk a 2.5 second silence + root.
• Lucio - Hard to drag with too many cleanses. The Q also interrupts drags and makes it much more hard to get to a position to drag. Lucio and Junkrat are by far the two worst partners in crime for the lizard to face.
• Brightwing - Cleanse and high range interrupt to a drag with polymorph. You usually have to bait out the poly on someone else before attempting to go for a Q.
• Ana - After 13, having a stun removal that gives 50 armor with a 2s CD is pretty nasty, and so is the ability to deny all healing from essence with a basic ability. Thankfully, Ana is fairly vulnerable to getting ran down herself by Dehaka by a good brushstalker. Just be ready to use E quickly to avoid the sleep.
• Deathwing - Not only is he immune to drags, but his massive hitbox is fairly efficient at blocking drags on everyone else either.
• Cho’gall - Dehaka doesn’t have the greatest single target damage to burn him down, and Gall can interrupt drags with his stunning orbs even as he is being dragged himself. On the flipside, Dehaka can focus more on macro and punish the inflexibility of chogall draft to deal with him.

Heroes Dehaka is good into
​
Just to be clear, there are not many heroes that like being dragged for 2.25 seconds into bad positions. There are some standouts regardless that he is extremely effective against.

• Diablo - Into Diablo he is amazing. He is the easiest target to hit with a drag in the game with his aggressive playstyle, and he is fairly easy to blow up in a drag if you have any of the heroes that Dehaka is typically great with. After level 4, Dehaka himself is practically immune to Diablo himself because of his stealth.
• Imperius - The level 4 talent destroys him in all the ways possible. No spears, no E, no nothing.
• Kerrigan - She is extremely easy to drag due to her telegraphed back to front movement, and you can use your E to protect any allies from her combos while avoiding those aimed towards you entirely.

Maps

To cut it short, what makes for a great Dehaka map:

• Lots of bushes
• Large size to utilize global
• Macro focused maps
• Camps that are easily defended with Drag
• Maps with split objectives

S tier maps

Dragon Shire
​
So Dragon Shire is great for several reasons. The nature of the split objective is one such. The bottom shrine is positioned in such a way, where the only ‘safe’ way out of the shrine is usually by walking through a bush which is also known as the lizard territory. Another is the quantity of maps on the bottom side of the map that are relatively easy to invade for your team, and with burrow you can make it an easy 5v4. It has a lot of bushes for Dehaka to easily rotate and collect essence between lanes. Its great.The only downside for Dehaka on DS is that winning the shrine on top also matters quite a bit and while he is not bad in 1v1s, there are good amount of offlaners who can destroy him in a 1v1.

Cursed Hollow
​
Macro focus, siege giants, a lot of the same as in Dragon Shire. The objective does not split the team the same way as it does on DS but during curses having global is extremely valuable since your team can push very hard on a lane and threaten keep, while the quick rotation speed of Dehaka on sidelines means you are not losing xp and the global means your team isn’t left alone in a 4v5 if they commit everything to defending the push.

Towers of Doom
Might be, in my opinion, Dehaka’s strongest map. The presence of global enables a solid amount of invasion plays on enemy sapper camps, and the split objective means that every time an altar spawns on two other sides of the map, Dehaka will be there to make the objective fight 5v4 way before the global-less enemy offlane can do anything about it.

Sky Temple
Really, most of the things that can be fitted into DS can also be applied onto Sky Temple aswell. It is slightly worse on Sky because Dehaka struggles a bit on capping temples alone due to low single target damage and conditional sustain but his global is even more important since all structure damage matters on the map, and pushing out a lane can be just as valuable as getting an objective.

Garden of TerrorMostly he is awesome here. Lots of bushes, large size, macro heavy gameplay etc. You just want to make sure you have another hero in team who is effective at taking camps because Dehaka is not one, and camps are what often decide Garden games. At least he is very good at clearing the enemy camps.

A tier maps

Infernal Shrines
The map has lots of bushes, 3 lanes to soak and moderate macro relevance. One thing that makes Dehaka still a star on the map is his ability to drag shaman camps into towers to instantly clear them. Just because I took him lower than on some others doesn’t mean he isn’t great here, the reason I didn’t put him in S was mostly because he is not the most effective in clearing the extremely impactful objective alone, nor is he very good at dealing with it if enemy gets it.
Where Dehaka really sucks is when he has to fight on an open lane with no bushes, to defend against a punisher or such.

Tomb of the Spider Queen
Historically this is a bit controversial take due to the map’s small size. Which is true, it is against Dehaka’s global value. it doesn’t mean though it isn’t immensely relevant on the map, since it can be used to prevent the good old boss cap strategy of taking bot camp, and moving to boss as enemy has to deal with a siege camp.
Aside from that, due to its small size however Dehaka can stack essence extremely quickly, and the quantity of bushes makes him a danger everywhere on the map even without his global.
Dehaka is a very hard to gank offlane, which means gems collected by Dehaka are far more safe than on some other popular offlaners.

B tier maps

Battlefield of Eternity
​
Not the best map for him, but playable. The objective sucks the same way as it does on IS and it is more early game heavy. The distance between lanes makes essence management much more difficult.Things he does do well on the map though is defending shaman camps, which is more valuable here than any other map in my opinion. The middle of the map is also riddled with bushes, giving him a ton of opportunities to position properly and getting good drags in. The distance between lanes does also mean the bottom part of the team can play much more aggressively for camps since the global does threaten a constant 5v4.
Alterac Pass
​
I hate playing Dehaka on Alterac, but it could be worse. Little amount of bushes makes rotating extremely hard and dragging camps to towers is often of low value. Additionally, taking camps is of a high value and Dehaka really does not do it well on Alterac. The one thing Alterac has going for him is its large size, and the few bushes it has are around objectives so he can still sidepush and join for a fight.

Braxis Holdout
Dehaka typically isn’t awesome due to the difficulties of gaining essence, relevance of winning point on top lane and lack of siege giant/shamans. The bonus is, if you do win the point its fairly easy to win the bottom point aswell due to using global after bullying the enemy offlaner away from point.

D tier maps

Volskaya Industries
​
No bushes, small size, mostly item based camps. Unless Dehaka is the only hero you play, I’d not recommend picking him here.

Base Kit tips

Drag [Q]

• This ability is what most often will win games. Its the longest CC on a basic ability and it has a reposition to boot. Unfortunately, it is also one of the harder parts of playing the hero. Some tips regarding its use;
• While dragging someone, you can still auto attack even if it hurts your movement slightly. In 1v1 it is pretty much always worth it though since good part of your 1v1 damage does come from AAs.
• Drag cannot be cancelled, and you cannot cast E while dragging. Hence recommended to not do reckless drags on low hp while your E is still up.

Mercs
​
As I eluded earlier, you don’t have to be the one to deal the actual damage to mercs. You can also drag them into towers and forts for a faster clear. The damage of the drag isn’t high, 160 at a base (159% of one AA), but it is big enough that if you know you are going to base to get mana or you won’t be needing it any time soon, using drag for damage on PvE does increase your clear speed. It is mana intensive, which is why I excluded its use to the two scenarios above.

Landing drags on heroes

• You don’t have to fish for one. If you can start a fight with a clutch drag that is great. But usually if every other hero is just posturing, that drag is going to get interrupted quickly. It can be good to wait for a bit of chaos to happen so people are less focused on the Dehaka and will have harder time dodging it.
• In general, targets that are walking towards you are the ones that are easiest to hit. If someone is dancing sideways in front of me, I dont have to use it yet.
• Holding the drag: Sometimes not pressing Q when you have it up is more potent than pressing it. It happens quite often on offlane and in teamfights that people are so focused on dodging drag that they are walking in circles in awkward positions eating tons of damage. At some point, after they have taken enough they have to walk away in a straight line - which is when they are an easy grab.
• Use your E. I’ll go over more of this in talents, but you can set up an easy drag on anyone with the use of the level 4 talent ‘’Lurker Strain’’.
• While dragging someone, you can still auto attack even if it hurts your movement slightly. In 1v1 it is pretty much always worth it though since good part of your 1v1 damage does come from AAs.

Dark Swarm
​

• Mostly used for waveclear, but it does have a few other applications. Post 13 it also becomes your damage and your slow, and you have to use E less for drag setups.
• Against certain heroes like Leoric for instance being able to pass through heir hitbox has some significant advantages. The downside is, you cannot bodyblock while using the ability.

Burrow [E]

• A good bit of this one’s utility comes from the level 4 talent.
• If playing without the level 4, this is mostly the panic button to use in order to dodge a skill shot, or to buy time for your trait to regenerate you to higher health. Your W does deal damage while you are burrowed, so you can use it while clearing waves in order to dodge spell power reductions from Blaze Qs and such.

Essence Collection [D]
​

• Easily the most overlooked and most screwed up part about playing Dehaka. Using 50 essence restores about 61% of Dehaka’s max health. Going to fight without it is like entering one with 40% hp and the healer cannot even patch it up.
• One should never look to enter a fight unless absolutely necessary without essence. If an objective is on its way, it's better to not just directly trade into the enemy offlane just so you are not forced to use your trait before a fight. If I am low on health, I rather use HS and then burrow to the objective (or waddle back to lane first to force the enemy to play aggro on the objective).
• One minion wave gives 14 essence. Even if forced to use essence, if the map is small enough there is a shot you can collect it back before it's too late. Three waves are usually sufficient, getting you to 42 essence. If you are not double soaking in the early game (often due to having a bad lane match up or having to clear camps on a big map), around 1:30 you can use your essence and then unbind the ability until the next objective.

Brushstalker [Z]

• The other easily screwed up part about the hero is the use of global. It is not often correct to use it to get to a lane in order to soak, you have your movement speed for that. When used aggressively though, you can use it to start a teamfight from a position where your drags are much harder to deal with.
• Even when not used, it provides value. As long as your Z is up, the enemy cannot reliably invade your camps (or well, it isn’t smart), you can force the enemy to play objectives more aggressively than they would want to by remaining on side soak before burrowing.
• Situationally it can be used like this if there is a large wave and you know there won’t be an objective coming in the next 70s and the camps are down (especially relevant on ToD) but generally I’d advice learning to save burrows for aggressive usage, and shifting rest of the playstyle to be more macro focused.
• Using Z does remove you from the game for 1.5 seconds allowing you to cleanse most debuffs and avoid Chromie loop if your E is off CD.
• There is an odd interaction that allows Dehaka to clear Chromie loops and avoiding Dots without committing: If you self cast Brushstalker while in a bush, or click the bush location within your own unit radius, the ability is not put on cooldown when used but it still puts you in stasis / removes harmful effects. This is a fairly niche trick but useful when it comes up. I am not sure at this point if this borders bug abuse since blizzard is fairly unclear on what are intended interactions and part of the balance, looking at you Samuro and hearthstone teleport tricks.

Talents / Builds breakdown
​
To start off, different builds have different values on different levels of play. The build I pick most of the time is immensely powerful in diamond, master and GM SL aswell as competitive. It is equally powerful in lower ones, but some other builds also become better there (Such as the W build). The % mentions are just my rough estimates on how often I pick a certain talent.

Level 1
​
Enduring Swarm - 2%

• This is a good talent. It does make Dehaka a lot more durable, it gives him extra duration on W which has some synergy with Hero Stalker.
• The downside is that it cripples his rotations and lethality of his burrow flanks somewhat substantially in comparison to Enhanced Agility. As it is, Dehaka is extremely durable already and while extra sustain never hurts, there is a point where other aspects should be considered.

Enhance Agility - 96%

• On every map where Dehaka is great, this is awesome. It enables all the rotations between lanes for easy essence gathering, it has great synergy with the 13 talent due to increased duration. In teamfights, this is what allows Dehaka to easily get into positions where drags are easy to land.
• Completing it early is nice, but it isn’t something to be too fussed about since the baseline version of it is already great.

Tissue Regeneration - 2%

• Technically the best for pure 1v1
• I consider this a bit of a training wheels talent, since it does make gaining essence much more easier and the increased. I do pick it still on Braxis just for the increased lane sustain to cover for lack of essence from double soaking. It is not bad on BoE either but Enhanced Agility is also really good on it for the amount of bushes.
• Has synergy with Primal Rage due to increased cap on essence.

Level 4
Lurker Strain - 95%

• This might be the most powerful talent on Dehaka, bar none. Not just the level 4. To paint a comparison, imagine getting E.T.C W with a massive slow, greater knockback, higher damage and stealth from just a level 4 talent. However, it is also the hardest talent to play since it helps you in no way in essence management and it is more complex in its use than the others
• Works extremely well against heroes that are weak against displacements and is very insufferable for several tanks such as Diablo and Varian. If there is ever a moment when Diablo sees a good wall stun, Dehaka can use E preemptively and just stay hidden for your team to reposition to a better spot. If Diablo charges, his Q (or if you miss it, his E) gets interrupted and he will be slowed with no mobility in a bad spot, ready to be dragged to his death. Into Diablo it has extra value since the stealth makes it so he cannot use Q on you.
• Onto heroes like Imperius and Thrall, it's good to use whenever they press their limited time window damage abilities (E’s on both of them). The displacement tends to ruin their effective teamfight window. Even getting a spear through to anyone as Imperius gets complicated. To Yrel, you can use it to interrupt jumps easily even if she is positioning behind minions. This is also one of the few ways to somewhat reliably get drags on the more elusive divers.
• The other good thing about it is that it really makes your kill pressure less reliant on drags. If you have Enhanced Agility you can often position yourself in places easily where you can knock one target towards your team while moving everyone else away. It is extremely potent with heroes like Stukov and Malfurion with powerful consistent AoE effects you can knock them into. On BoE, immortal stuns become your best friend.
• Akin to Mighty Gust, the daze duration as the opponent has no control over their character is always the same regardless of the distance travelled. It is not terribly long duration knockback, and characters have a few frames to press a button that would move them from the drag. However, if Dehaka does push them against the wall, even the slow missile speed of drag is fast enough to confirm a drag to land on any target before they can teleport away.

Hero Stalker - 3%

• A great talent, shame about its tier. This is often what wins games in lower ranks where teamfights last for a long time and using this alongside Symbiosis can grant Dehaka several health bars in a fight. This talent makes the hero a lot easier to play.
• While it is great in lower ranks, there is a bit of an unfortunate side effects to this; Very often when I see Dehaka’s play with this talent the idea that they can get essence without soaking leads them into not soaking. You still should not arrive to fights with no essence because they can still do a blow up before you can get enough of it, and you should still make use of your global presence and soak sidelines. The talent makes some bad habits far less punished creating the illusion that the other options are worse when they are tried.
• Great into Samuro for fairly obvious reasons

One-Who-Collects - 2%
​

• Used to be my go-to until Lurker Strain was buffed. The effect makes gaining essence much easier and allows making trades on offlane. I do recommend this one if you are learning to play the hero and managing essence isn’t yet your strong suit. It teaches less bad habits than Hero Stalker and gives him some extra merc clear which is nice.
• On Alterac I listed this as a situational pick since you are doing a lot of offsoaking and potentially have to be the one to split to defend the camps as an objective spawns. Enhanced Agility is not recommended on the map so its much harder to get into good positions for your E knockbacks in the early game. Lurker Strain is still very good on the map.

Level 7
​
Feeding Frenzy - 98%

• Drag is insanely powerful as it is, and this makes it so it becomes even stronger and more spammable. The extra 0.5 second duration is a long time to suffer when you are being dragged into a worse position. The CD starts immediately after landing a drag so you can already prep your next drag during the old one with AAs.
• If you miss a drag, you can hit walls and minions to get it back up faster. Without this talent I’d recommend skipping trying to do fish kills with a drag entirely since missing it gets heavily punished and confines you to being a standing duck for 14 seconds. This also applies to playing several lanes, you should always look to AA whatever you can safely to reset drag CD as quickly as possible.

Symbiosis - 2%
​

• The core talent of the W build. It makes your W spammable which has natural synergy with all the other W talents. Downside is, it doesn’t actually reduce the W’s mana cost and spamming W can quickly drain your mana bar.
• The upside of this build is that it gives Dehaka great damage numbers in games where focus fire is less precedent, it gives him much greater sustain which also matters more in games with less focus fire and it makes him reasonably useful with little skill involved. Its great into melee comps but…in order for it to be really good you need Hero Stalker and Lurker Strain also happens to be extremely powerful into melee comps. I do recommend this for beginners and plat and below SL.
• Into Samuro it is almost a necessity in order to be able to sustain the pressure, which is where I still lock it.

Paralyzing Enzymes - 0%
​

• This is terrible. Dehaka has reasonably good shot at holding on to gambit stacks but the damage over time in team fights is rarely more useful than the extra duration & fishing potential of Feeding Frenzy and less impactful in 1v1s than the CDR.

Level 10
​
Isolation - 100%

• High skill high reward skill shot.
• 3s silence and slow is often as good as a kill when used in a right spot. One easy way to land one is right after landing a drag when they are close and have to run away, but into some heroes I’d recommend the opposite. Especially into brightwing. If she doesn’t die during the drag she won’t die at all due to blinking away. While the drag stun and silence will mostly overlap, the isolation’s vision removal does have a side effect of being unable to press Z or Blink Heal for 6 seconds. The 30% slow on the isolation also makes drags a lot easier to land if you do manage to secure an isolation.
• The ability does have a high delay and moderate travel speed, which is why its often great as a follow up. Alternatively if you have trust on your aim, using Z to join a fight as your team is engaging and going straight for the Rehgar from flank for instance to put him of a 6s timer of no Ancestral is fairly effective if your team lacks the tools to kill a target before an ancestral would land.

Adaptation - 0%
​

• Too slow of an effect just to add more sustain to already a very high sustain hero.
• Low ranks and for beginners this can be great since the focus fire will often be more forgiving, allowing this to trigger on time.

Level 13
Ferocious Stalker - 93%

• Massive power spike.
• This allows your W to instantly clear waves. It allows you to do big enough damage to threaten a solo kill on a flank, and it gives you access to very easy slow so you don’t have to use other tools to confirm drags. If you are clearing waves, this it is almost always worth the detour to move to a bush and trigger this. Assuming you have Enhanced Agility that is. The talent isn’t worthless and sometimes even worth picking without it, but it becomes much more consistent with it.

Primal Swarm - 4 %

• If I am playing the hero stalker build , I might consider this. But on top of Samuro, it gains a bit of extra value against heroes that naturally have armor like Deathwing. It sucks enough to play Dehaka into DW but this makes it a bit more tolerable.

Primal Rage - 3%

• Need to still win point on Braxis? This is awesome. If you are in BoE and your team decided once again to draft 0 race and you don’t have enhanced agility? Great. But it is often the option to pick when you are in a situation you should not be in to begin with.
• Has synergy with Tissue Regen due to having a higher cap on the AA damage

Level 16
​
Elongated Tongue - 0%

• Potentially good,
• Most of the value of this talent comes from the fact it is not meta and people misjudge the drag range. The issue is that Drag has fairly slow missile speed and usually isn’t very reliable on max range to begin with - and it is even more unreliable on a higher range. Drag is still a powerful enough ability that this talent cannot be called bad.

Pack Leader - 0%

• A fairly worthless option.
• Has synergies with the AA build but it does also have some issues. You need to use bushes to get value out of this, and if you are able to do so you often want Enhanced Agility. Meanwhile the AA build is fairly reliant on Primal Rage that kind of wants Tissue Regen instead of agility to function. The temporary AA speed increase is fairly low, and while the armor is nice we don’t need to pump the hero’s sustain upwards much more.

Tunneling Claws - 100%

• An insane talent. It makes Dehaka much harder to kill and near impossible to gank (especially when combined with Lurker Strain). But on top of the defensive elements, the kill potential of being always able to move to a position where the knockback effect of E is just perfect is the greatest draw. My usual sequence when killing a frontliner post 16 often is Drag -> move back -> E to their other side -> knock the kill target back to allies and push everyone else away from helping.

Level 20
​
Contagion - 99%

• If Isolation is good, up to 5 isolations is also good. Tanks get a nasty habit of trying to peel for their backliners from isolations by blocking them and this puts a stop to that. You don’t need to hit many targets for it to be great, a single isolation effectively puts 1 person out of a fight for 6 seconds. If you hit it on even 2, you are likely to win the fight if you do it early and they cannot all just back away.

Change is Survival - 0%

• If you pick Adaptation, this is reasonably good.

Essence Claws - 1%

• The effect is nice, but usually just nice isn’t enough to compete with a threat to silence an entire enemy team.
• You do have other slows as it is, and requiring the AA targets to be heroes makes it fairly inconsistent to use. I pick this mostly if we are ending the game and Isolation happens to be on cooldown.

Apex Predator - 0%
​

• Just a worse version of Epic Mount of Falstad, and even that has fallen off the meta. The reason why Epic Mount is still situationally viable at places is that the talent is on a hero that is not vulnerable when threatening a core with no bushes around, one that has solid siege damage on structures and the global can be used to go to core aswell as for moving out of there.
• Meanwhile Dehaka cannot really do the same shenanigans as Falstad to the same extent even with this talent. He can move only away from the core, and he is extremely vulnerable to getting rotated there if the enemy has any interrupts to Z.

Laning tips

Do note that these estimations expect two equally skilled players, and playing with the talents listed above. Most of them do not directly improve the 1v1, so experiences may vary.Favored match ups

Thrall

• Thrall does not have really high clear, and his damage window is heavily limited by his windfury. If you use E and knock him back when he does windfury, or drag him, he will often be forced to tank minions while trading negatively against you.

Imperius

• Once again, the key is the use of E. His damage window is often limited to his Q + E window. If you knock him back as soon as he uses E, he loses his sustain. After 7 it gets much easier since you don’t just have to rely on your burrow to deny it.

Illidan

• For all his mobility, Illidan is fairly easy to drag. And I am not saying to try to drag him as he is attacking and jumping about, save it for when he uses Q. The windup on the ability is long enough that you can land if by aiming it on your other side as soon as he uses it.
• If he does not use Q, you can make the drags easier to land by backing off and forcing him to run into you for an easier target.

Leoric

• Every second drain can be canceled with E and you just need to dodge half of them to come out ahead. Leo E has 10s CD while Burrow has 17s post level 4 so the time window is also limited for Leo to land the drain.
• As I alluded to earlier, using Swarm during this timer to stack with his hitbox makes it hard for Leo to land a drain, but admittedly it is not the easiest thing to pull off as Dehaka either.

Artanis

• Artanis' shields and Dehaka's low single target damage do not go well together. In order for Dehaka to do well on the lane, they need to count the CD left on Artanis shield and aim drags to land when he cannot get a shield up.
• Artanis cannot really recover from taking big hits due to lack of self healing mechanics, so while Dehaka is outtraded in the short run over longer period he can be taken down. Just don't trade with him right after his shields reset.

Yrel

• This is a match up where both need to play smart. Yrel can deny Dehaka’s clear by timing a D + W as soon as Dehaka presses Dark Swarm, and Dehaka can deny Yrel’s clear by using E and Q to interrupt jumps and Q casts
• E does have a mini stun to it so it does interrupt all the casts. The match up really comes down to who bothers the other more on the clear. Both of the two have fairly scuffed single target damage so the wave management is usually what makes the difference in clear

• You can technically deny all her healing and clear if you are good enough with drags.
• Her hitbox is fairly small on bruiser standards (only 0.75 - for sake of comparison, Dehaka’s is 1.0 and Leoric's is 0.81) with extra movement speed and she can do the same to your drags as you can do to Leoric by spinning on top of your hitbox. In a pinch the E also does interrupt her spin.
• If she picks Wrath you are done 1v1’ing.

Murky

• I am not trolling when I say this but a good murky is the bane of Dehaka on lane. Dehaka is very prone to getting kited by slows and his low single target damage doesn’t really put a dent on Murky’s hp regen, and he clears the wave slower than a murky does.

As per usual, hopefully someone got something out of this. It has been a while since I written my last write up on bruisers. If there are any other particular bruisers people would want to see me make a write up on, do mention it. (I had to repost this due to reddit markdown acting stupid).

I want to preface my post with this - my mother in law is a wonderful, generous woman who adores her grandchildren and does a lot to help us with childcare and is, on the whole, just a lovely person. This situation just has me a bit confused as to how to approach it and some bromo input/insight would be appreciated.
She is very generous with her money and will often ask if the girls need new clothes, offer to pay for tennis/ballet lessons and she even paid for a recent oven cleaning I'd booked.
Now I've always just seen this as her being generous but there have been a few things she has said recently which make me think that she believes we actually need her help to be able to afford these things. For example, we were talking about some friends of ours who are moving back to the village and have bought a £700k house. She said 'oh wouldn't it be nice for you to have enough money to afford a house like that, I'm afraid you're the poorest of your friends' We could have bought a more expensive house but didnt want to be mortgadged up to the eyeballs like some of our friends. This really took me aback and since then I've really been seeing comments she's making in a new light.
I had my phone stolen in December and needed to buy a new one. It wasn't covered under house insurance so I ended up out of pocket and both she and my mum offered to put a little towards a new phone. I was telling a friend about this infront of my MiL saying I'd bought a new phone and she said in a jokey way 'I think you'll find the mummies helped out'. I could have afforded it but I took it as a nice gesture from them to help out before Christmas when my money would be better spent on the children. I'm not too proud to accept help when it is offered.
We were having a conversation about how my dental practice is pressuring me to go private. 'Well you can't afford that' she says. Yes I can, I just don't want to when I'm an NHS patient.
These are just a few money related comments she has made. They're never snide or intentionally hurtful but I really do think she is under the impression that we need her financial support. I've recently changed jobs and taken a fairly significant pay cut so goodness knows what she will think now - there have been a few comments. I've never complained about money or said we are struggling so I'm not sure where this has come from. There's a chance I'm imagining things but I don't think I am. She's quite a 'chatty' lady and I'm a little put out at the thought she might be saying to her friends (who are parents of some of our friends) that she's 'supporting' us.
This is totally trivial compared to some of the posts you lovely ladies have put on here and I realise this is a very privileged position I'm in. I'd just hate money to get in the way of a pretty healthy and pleasant relationship with my MiL. Should I stop accepting her offers to pay for things? Will that make it seem like I’ve been taking advantage of her? The last thing I want to do is upset her but I feel I need to address this somehow.

What do the characters in brackets mean when you are looking at the skills within a skill tree?
For example, on necro the Fueled by Death skill says you deal 3%[x] increased damage for 6 seconds after a consuming a corpse.
Does this 3% stack to 6% if I consume two corpses?
And also what does the "x" mean because in some skills it says "+"?

Hi, wondering if anyone else has this problem?
I have CSP 2.0, am on the most current Mac OS. When I opened CSP this morning and went to the file drop down menu, the "recent files" drop down was blank. I had to go into my subfolders and reopen them.
When I opened Clip Studio, it normally lists the files I previously worked on at the top. Instead it had images saying 'file not found'. When I tried to click on it, it said that the file may have been moved. But those files were never moved.
It's frustrating because having to do this is a complete waste of my time! Now I have to drill down to open my documents, instead of just using the 'recent files' path. And it's also stressing me out, because for a moment I thought I'd lost work that I'd spent hours on.
I'm still able to find and open the files. And when I do, it does show up under 'recent files'. BUT, when I close and open CSP again, the recent files history is gone. It's like every time I open CSP, its being opened for the first time.
Is there something I'm overlooking? I don't think I've ever had this problem before, and it's making me spend more time finding and opening my files. It's annoying as hell. I was trying to migrate a lot of my work from Photoshop to CSP, but now I'm not confident in how safe my files are with CSP. Even when I try to save a file, it puts a '1' or '2' at the end, when I'm trying to save a file for a second or third time. Have no idea what's going on with CSP right now,
I'm doing my new work in PS now, because I don't want to risk losing anything. Hoping there's an easy fix for this.

My thoughts on Himeko. I've recently drawn Himeko and decided to see what people are thinking about her and... decided to take a closer look at her for myself since then. As the game has released a character with the same class, role, and rarity as Himeko (Jing Yuan) while being considered much stronger than her, I decided to use him as a point of comparison. This is mostly a single target calculation.
We assume Himeko is fighting a fire weak boss so that she procs her talent everytime the boss is broken... otherwise... uh...

Thoughts:
I HEAR that elemental% is stronger than atk% on traces... BUT Jing does have 10 more atk alongside the crit so I don't know if that'll pull her far ahead. Jing does have an extra 25critD for his talent though, but he does lose 5crit vs Himeko. It seems even.
Why do I use % instead of raw numbers with simulated gear? Damage can fluctuate MADLY based on gear but a character's percent always stays the same even when gear changes.
Himeko seems to be about 86.5% as effective as Jing on a single target, but I've never done something like this before so... I have a decent chance of being COMPLETELY off.
Jing's considered pretty good at single target even though he's a aoe unit so 86.5% of Jing's single target output actually isn't so bad. There's also the fact that Himeko can proc her talent multiple times in a cycle if the boss ever summons, or Himeko can sometimes get a headstart in fire fights if there are otherlings at the start of a fight that could keep her ahead, and stay ahead from time to time. It doesn't SEEM like she's weak. I could be missing something completely
What about breaking? The fire amplifier (Asta) is really good at breaking and the fire mitigation (FMC) is also really good at breaking allowing you to burst bosses quickly (procc'ing her talent faster than 3/4 turns). A full team speed buff also allows faster breaking. Also, if you're fighting a fire weak boss, you don't have to choose between FMC, Asta, and Himeko. They're not stealing a team slot from each other, they each fill a different role. You're also not choosing to pull Asta or FMC over Himeko since they're free. I only see Himeko and Hook being in contention with eachother over the Damage-Dealer slot especially with conversations shifting towards Mono-Team talk.
Conclusion:
I think she's falls alot closer to Jing Yuan than expected even assuming 3/4 turns for a break on fire weak bosses especially at 86ish percent. There are ways for her to catch up to him such as the boss being a summoner or if your team can turn reduce 3/4 turns to break into 2/3. Team fire is really good helping her break. I think she's even better than just being decent. At least... I hope she is. As for Himeko + Asta vs Jing + Ting... I think that's too much for me.

TL;DR: Had a flight with citizenplane from Rome to Madrid on May 26th. They sent me two emails, one (May 14) saying I had to check in online for my flight and another (May 25) saying that online check-in wasn't available for my flight. As a result, I didn't check in online per the most recent email, and at the airport they charged me 48€ to check in and told me I should have done so online. I complained, and they refuse to do anything. What can I do?

So back in April I purchased a ticket with citizenplane to fly from Rome to Madrid on May 26th. I'd never heard of them before, but the business model seemed interesting, and the price was right. You get what you pay for, though...
On May 14th, more than a week before the flight, a customer service agent sent me this email:

So as a result, I didn't check in for the flight online, and when I got to the airport, Wizz Air charged me 48€ to check in (for a plane ticket that cost right around there).
I immediately contacted citizenplane and explained that the latest email is what I followed, and then I got subjected to the 48€ penalty, and that since they had led me wrong, I wanted them to cover the 48€. They told me time and time again that they told me before (the 14th) that I could do the check-in online and ignored the fact that the other email was sent (I even attached it for them). I finally got them to admit that the second email was sent in error, but they still refused to refund me for the mistake on their end.
For those of you that are more seasoned travelers than I, how would you handle this situation? Do you just bite the bullet and never fly with Citizenplane again? Or is there any other recourse I could take (I'm in the EU if that helps. I hear we have strong consumer protection laws regarding airlines, but I really don't know how to use them). I realize it's only 48€, but I'm at the point where I'm willing to fight it over principle and so that the same doesn't happen to others.

I'm sorry for the word dump but I really needed a place to vent and any advice is welcome and appreciated. There is a TLDR after the wall of text and I'll try to provide extra information (nothing too personal or identifying) if needed.
OP's (25M) profile: Personally I rate myself 3.5/10 in terms of looks, never higher than a 5. Extremely introverted with a pretty bland personality. All of this makes me easily paranoid about other people and think that anyone willing to go out with me has ulterior motives. And the way this relationship started and how it has gone so far isn't helping. I've had interactions with others who I thought might be interested but never went anywhere, always disinterest from the other party. But all of them were more comfortable than what I have now, so its not a one time thing. I won't deny I enjoy my solitude, but I'm really don't have relationships of any kind and I want this to work.
The story so far is that I'm 7 months into my first ever relationship with Judy (24F) (not her real name). We're both currently university students and met a couple years back through mutual friends' Discord channels. We've had a couple in person meet ups and I didn't feel she was interested in me at all at the time. Over time we started spending more time online in smaller group settings and even just with each other. Nothing serious just hanging out in a chat room while we study. As an introvert I prefer not talking unless I have to, even online. This led me to mute my headset mic but not Discord's so it would seem like I was AFK which let me listen in on these conversations. Its been a while but the gist of these conversations was how she liked me while John reaffirmed those feelings and told her to act on them.
[Side story] A reason for my paranoia reason is because of John. As he seems to be the main support for her confession to me and it makes me on edge. He knows I have money. Not a 'quit job' rich, but more a 'spent an above average amount building a PC' rich (and I'm proud of it given the serious saving and part time jobs I had to do to build it). When we go out for lunch or whatever, I tend to pay for us together with him saying he'll pay me back later. Usually he does but frequently he needs me reminding or in other cases he just doesn't. Each time its not a lot ($10-$25) but after a while it adds up. With my nature I can't really chase it. What really distrubed me was how once we were out in a group I jokingly said John could pay for me since he owed me lunch. And he replied "I probably owe him more than 1". After which he seemed to actively avoid meeting me in person and it hurt me bad. I don't want to say he's a leech since he's a friend for many years, but I do think there is a transactional feel to our friendship and why it makes my relationship with Judy feel off with his support.
An example of how John makes me uncertain about my relationship with Judy was during lunch one day. We agreed to meet up for lunch, no indication of anyone else joining. But after we confirm time and place, Judy messages me saying she can't wait to meet me for lunch. I'm so confused but play along and say something generic like "see you there". After this John messages me and asks if its ok if Judy joins us, and all I reply is "doesn't look like I have a choice since you already invited her". He doesn't respond and we meet up for lunch, nothing much happens. But there was clearly some communication between them I'm not aware of. Maybe I'm overthinking things since John has known me for so long and Judy might just be getting his help, but this isn't the only ambush lunch/dinner I've had with them. [Side story end]
But when she eventually asked if I would like to go with her on a movie date, I agreed. I know how nerve wrecking it is to ask someone out, especially if you like them so I wasn't going to hurt her based on my own insecurities. We went on the date and I thought it went fine, and I guess since we agreed to do it again we started dating.
The problem is how extreme she is in her affection, and whether this is normal or not?
Overall, Judy as a girlfriend feels is so extreme that it feels forced and fake. She will constantly message me, not in a bad stalker kind of way but it gives off really strong obsessive vibes. She will leave me a wall of messages even when I'm too busy to respond. She once left me an long in game message that anyone could see that was extremely cringey to read. It literally began with "you are my sun" and went on for so long. Its gotten so bad that I actively avoid going into group settings with her because of her behaviour. Its so bad that I actively avoid opening her messages afraid of what she will reply with. The stuff she did before we were dating is so much worse now that whenever I say or do anything at all our mutual friends relentlessly tease us both about it. As her boyfriend I try to do something, but she simps when I do, proving their point and making the situation worse.
We've gone on some more dates since (like I've mentioned, we're both studying so not a lot of time). On the couple of dates we've had I would say they're fine. We go out for food or a movie and I think we have an ok time. But each time I can never fully get myself to relax and enjoy it. The dates have awkward uncomfortable silences and she acts excessively into me which feels borderline fake. This includes textbook simping over me to the point I prefer not to say anything in group settings so no one can comment on it out of embarassment. I make sure the dates are places convenient for her (near her location or house so she doesn't have to travel far). But every time she keeps insisting on accompanying me part of the way or all the way in my direction (we live in opposite directions).
Right now I could also use some serious help with dates. I want to know is whether its normal to have dates throughout the week. Its our term break now and she is constantly trying to set up dates right after we just had one. If I went on every day she suggested there would literally only be a 2 to 3 day break between them. I'm able to put them off because of other commitments but she is relentless. I do this not only because of time constraints, but money as well since we're both students. I mentioned I have some money but I'm frugal and like to have savings for emergencies. Before anyone accuses me of being stingy, I always pay for her and never chase her to pay me back or if she pays less.
During our exam period, I told her we needed to focus on our studies and she did listen. She wasn't as 'bad' but she did try and set up dates. But when I firmly rejected any dates, she kept trying to drag me onto Discord calls which often lead to her tempting me to play games with her. I've repeatedly told her to tone it down but she says she "can't help it" and doesn't change her behaviour.
Her affection makes me feel suffocated and pressured to reciprocate but I can't knowing what I know about myself and the other stuff. At the start I told her my wish not to broadcast our relationship so that the people don't pile on the couple tag every time we appear and she acts excessive. I told her she was more than welcome to tell whoever she liked or asked, just don't do an announcement thing like on social media or anything. This led to months of passive aggressive gossiping among Judy's friends who felt she did not want to tell them. I know for a fact talking with her that this is genuinely a problem for her. For the record not even my immediate family know I have a girlfriend (that's how introverted I am). But this incident makes me feel like I have to see this relationship through.
TLDR; to clarify as far as I know, Judy has done nothing wrong. But I don't think relationships are supposed to feel this stressful. I just don't understand how someone can have such intense feelings for another person they effectively have spent less than a day with. I feel the way things are isn't fair to Judy for me to be her boyfriend when I don't fully commit to reciprocate her. I don't want to hurt her if her feelings are genuine and I also don't think its healthy to continue with how things are. Also I feel like I owe her this relationship after the drama I caused with her friends. I feel that if I can get some assurance I'll be able to accept my role as her boyfriend.

Normanton MP "horrified" at last night's shooting, as victim named
The sole victim of last night's "terrifying shooting", which saw an unidentified lone masked gunman "calmly" walk up to the front doors of The King Edward VI pub on Castleford and open fire, has been identified as an Australian sportsperson.
Ellie Edwin - a 21 year old AFL Women's player - was "seriously injured" after what was being referred to by West Yorkshire Police as "a random shooting".
DCI Belforth of West Yorkshire Police stated that it was "an entirely random shooting".
"It does appear to be an entirely random shooting. But we are still asking anybody with any information to come forward as soon as possible," he said.
Edwin - who is 195cm tall - is an Aussie Rules player who plays as a "Ruck Rover" for the West Coast Cheetahs AFL women's club, which is based in Perth over in Western Australia. She had apparently been visiting her great-grandfather in Castleford and had "gone to the pub for drinks with firends".
One eyewitness, Gerald Ford, called the shooting "terrifying".
"I always go to the King Edward for a drink and a meal every afternoon. To see this in broad daylight was pretty shocking. I just saw him, all masked up and hooded and it was weird to see this man just gun this really tall lass, a young girl too, couldn't be younger than my own granddaughter. The shooter seemed like a white fella, but he was all covered up. I've never seen a shooting in this area in all of my 70 years. I still can't believe it," he stated to the West Yorkshire Herald.
It comes as the MP for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford, Taylor Dalston expressed his "utter disbelief" at the shooting.
"I was in a state of utter disbelief when I heard about this shooting and was completely horrified that something like this happened. I have no idea why this would have happened and why the victim would have been targeted. I have spoken to police and they have reassured me that temporary increased patrols will be in effect to reassure the general public. But rest assured, this is a very rare incident in my constituency," he said.

I've heard people call Ms. Milroy rude, which I disagree with. She's very brusque, yes, and direct and got-together in a way that I can see coming across as dismissive but was very patient with my concerns and questions and with my post-anasthesia high self trying to form a coherent sentence to her. To me, at least, she gave off the impression of a competent individual that has been reinforced by the result of her work.
The hospital was great - all the nurses were incredibly kind and patient with me, the night nurse going as far as to sit and slowly inject my second dose of Tranexamic acid over the course of about 20 minutes after the first dose made me feverish and nauseous, in the hope of that not happening again. They were really good about tolerating my weird food requests (I had major munchies but could only really stomach carbs, fruit + veg), I got a private room + my mother was allowed to stay with me from when I woke up at about 11am until about 8pm, when I kicked her out myself.
My scars are healing well, I had my drains out the morning after surgery and haven't needed to dip into my codine at all. They're very clean incisions, and well-stitched. I can provide photos from today (albeit with plasters over my nipples) if anyone wants to see another example of Ms. Milroy's work.

Battle Physics critique and suggestions:

1. Soldiers Crowd-Crush and clip inside each other constantly, turning melee combat into a blobby awful mess.
   1. How to Fix: This isn't inherently a matched combat issue - rather CA needs to increase the collision bubble so soldiers give each other more space when milling about and not stabbing a foe. I've made mods that fix this before, its very easy.
   2. CA should Take a look at Divide Et Impera for Rome 2 for proof of non-blobby matched combat. Or also, Warhammer; its possibly the only modern total war that does this properly; even when fighting intensely, models give each other enough space to not blob and clip inside each other.
   3. At all costs please avoid the Troy problem where any unit not in Hold stance instantly becomes a cronenberg abomination of limbs and flesh in the un-modded game.
2. Soldiers staring for 4 seconds after each attack: Reduce the Attack-Cooldown from 4 to 1, reduce Damage per hit accordingly, to reduce staring contests and make fighting more lifelike. All combat is synced anyway, so it can't cause balance issues.
3. Un-armoured soldiers getting pin-cusioned by arrows and being fine: drastically increase arrow lethality, drastically decrease accuracy and rate of fire. Un-blocked arrows really should just kill an unarmoured model on hit. If a naked trooper eats an arrow he should go down, simply bad for immersion otherwise.

Soldier "Robotic-ness" critique and suggestions:

1. Units are too synchronised and robotic in how they move around and their idle animations etc. They look like the Tomb King Skellingtons from warhammer III, but like, with flesh.
   1. How to Fix: IMO CA should add a randomised 0-2 second delay for each model responding to orders given to its unit. This keeps them snappy for gameplay purposes, but fixes the robotic perfection issue.
   2. Give soldiers more idle animations and have them play way more frequently.
   3. Make soldiers dirtier. They look too clean. I'm not saying people never bathed back then, in fact they literally lived next to the NILE, so its probably realistic, but for aesthetics the soldiers simply look way too clean and shiny.

A few minutes later, the front door to the living apartment opened, and both men slipped inside as if they were wayward teenagers coming home after curfew rather than adult men returning home. Both had their shoes in one hand and, while Boyd cautiously closed the door behind them, Lucas crept into the living area to search for any sign of an ambush from their fellow roommates. Too many of them knew about Lucas’ proposal plans (that is: Robbie would’ve told everyone by now), and they wanted to spend the rest of the night alone instead of facing a detailed inquisition by the name of Charlotte.
The TV was on, and some of the ironing was hanging up, which meant Robbie was around somewhere. Also, Lucas saw Sam’s office door firmly closed with the light illuminating the bottom edge. The rest of that side’s hallway had their lights out. Without looking over his shoulder, Lucas gestured for Boyd to follow him in but to be quiet doing so.
He felt Boyd’s hand slide into his, and the pair snuck down the corridor, pausing at each bedroom on the off-chance that someone was awake on the other side and just about ready to step out. He heard Ben snuffling at the gap under the door and slid his fingers through for the Rottweiler to smell who was there. “It’s just us, boy,” he whispered quietly. “Go back to bed.”
The Rottweiler whined and then padded away.
There was no movement whatsoever from Brock’s room, and once they passed Robbie and Charlotte’s door, it was a straight line to their bedroom, and the pair hurried the short distance with Boyd shutting the door firmly behind them.
Lucas made quick work of his jacket and shirt but caught the hmph of surprise uttered by his fiancé. “What?” he demanded, removing the badge from his belt with one hand while the other worked the buckle.
“Robbie’s upgraded our room,” Boyd answered, stepping aside to point out the sleek metal rectangle that was attached to the door. “I’ve never needed a lock before now, but I guess he’s getting ahead on the inevitability of Sam’s little brothers and sister getting curious.”
“Bullshit!” Lucas snorted, dropping the belt and badge on top of his shirt and jacket on the floor. “That’s not for the kids. That’s to stop Charlotte from busting in here and giving us the third degree.”
“But check this out. The design’s so damned simple.” He flipped the metallic handle until it curled in on itself and locked against the inward swinging door. “That’s it. The only way that door opens now is if we flip this back out like that.” He made a show of pulling it the reverse way so that it tucked flush against the wall. “It’s a super latch.”
“Wonderful,” Lucas grumped, then pushed himself between Boyd and the door and locked it once more without ever looking at it. “Now,” he said, grabbing the hem of his fiancé’s shirt and hauling it over his head. “Where were we?”

Robbie sat cross-legged in the middle of his bed with a huge smile on his face as the tumbler to the living apartment’s front door barely made a sound, and two of the larger men in the apartment (next to Llyr) tried to slip through the apartment undetected. He’d already heard/felt them in the hallway outside between the studio to the living apartment when he and Sam had been passing the time watching TV (with Charlie passed out on the couch under the fish tank).
After silently shoving Sam’s shoulder, Sam launched himself to his feet and realm stepped away, probably to his room, while he pounced on Charlie.
Despite the lateness of the hour, she’d tried to wait up for her brother, determined to hear how it went. Robbie was just as adamant that that wouldn’t happen, and before she was fully awake, he abandoned his ironing, scooped her out of the couch in a bridal carry, and realm stepped into their bedroom. From there, he dropped his weight into the middle of their bed and positioned her with her back to his front. He grew extra limbs to hold her perfectly still, with another hand over her mouth for silence.
“Ssshhhhh,” he shushed as she squirmed and screeched into his hand, growing in volume when even she heard her brother and his fiancé creeping down the corridor and disappearing into their room. He nuzzled her neck through her hair to distract her. “This is their night, and it went well.”
Charlie nipped his hand, then turned in his arms when he loosened them. “How do you know?” she huffed once he freed her mouth. “What if Lucas is just feeling horribly dejected and not realising that the best thing for him right now is family?”
“Because they didn’t plod their way through the apartment like the world was going to end, and they didn’t go into separate rooms. You know as well as I do that they want privacy, Missy-Mo, and you’re going to give that to them, even if I’ve got to wear you out first before I get back to the ironing.”
Charlie twisted until she faced him. “What a hard life you lead.”
His grin was instantaneous, and he waggled his eyebrows for good measure. “I know, right?”

Hours later, Boyd searched through his studio’s storage room for the perfect timber options. He himself was leaning heavily into snakewood, but he wanted Lucas to have the final say and brought out both cubes of timber for him to choose from.
Thankfully, he decided the dark brown, nearly black grain of the Lignum Vitae would look too much like a thick O-ring that his sister had plenty of in her garage. By contrast, the snakewood had a rich red base spotted with dark red splotches that gave it its name. As it already had a very high resin content, the challenge to carve something so intricate and personal to Boyd was not insignificant but worth it for a one-of-a-kind engagement ring.
The workbench only had one stool set up for Boyd, but as he tried to push Lucas into the seat, Lucas refused and squirmed until he eventually had the table between them. “You need to be comfortable doing what you do,” he insisted. “So I’ll watch from over here. I spent more than ten hours a day on my feet, so trust me when I say this is no hardship to watch you work.” He looked up at Boyd, then back at the wooden cube gripped in the vice. “Besides, this is not a piece you’re allowed to mess up.”
Boyd nodded and settled himself onto his stool, gathering up the first of several knives that he knew would have to be replaced in the morning due to the hardness of the timber. Normally, people watching him made him nervous, but with Lucas, he found it grounding. As if he could sink further into the project because he didn’t have to look out for ugly opinions designed to tear him down. With Lucas watching over him, he truly had nothing to fear.
And, as his right hand carved away large unnecessary chunks from the block, his left hand reached out and retrieved a sloyd knife to follow his right hand as it creased the wood, preparing it for the next pass of the larger blade. The motion was like a song being played in Boyd’s head, with his hand movements that of a conductor.
Blades were switched out constantly until a smaller sloyd and a hand gouge took their place. With these, he scooped a small ring around the central mass as a guideline and worked his way down while his other hand bevelled the outer edge, using the strength of both hands to offset the work of the other.
Small and smaller, each blade became until he split the barrel into two rings which he then shaped in a slight curve to match the one on his own finger. The final step was a light sanding in pumice to give the surface grain a denser coat as the resin was spread before the first layer of linseed oil could be applied.
Knowing whichever one he varnished would be wet for the next few hours and unable to be worn in the morning, Boyd picked up one of the rings and carried it to Lucas’ side of the table.
“You carved that from memory,” Lucas said, watching the bare ring slide into place on his left ring finger. He then lifted his hand and flicked his thumb against the ring. “How did … it’s a near-perfect fit,” he gasped.
“It still has at least four coats of shellac before it can be brought to a full shine,” Boyd explained. “And I’m going to do both exactly the same, so you’ll never tell them apart just by looking at them. I’ll know, but that means you have a question to answer by tomorrow morning.”
Lucas stopped admiring the wooden ring and looked up at him. “What?”
He pointed at the ring still on the workbench behind them. “That one will have its first coat put on tonight and will be ready to wear by tomorrow night. But the one you have on now will then need to be coated.”
“Still not seeing a question.”
“Which one do you want to wear to work in the morning for all your workmates to see for the first time? The one you’re wearing now that won’t have any extra protection even though it’s already harder than most metals or the one that’ll have a slightly greasy feel until I seal it tomorrow when you get home from work?”
“What difference will the two make?”
“Not a lot. As I said, there’s a ton of resin in snakewood, so it has a good lustre by itself. Someone like me will notice the difference, but no one else. It just depends on which ring you’d like everyone to notice in the morning as your engagement ring.”
Lucas glanced at both rings. “This one,” he said, shaking his left hand to waggle his selection after a few seconds of thought. “This is the real one. It’s the one you gave me first, and it’s the one I’m going to show everyone.”
Boyd nodded, knowing he would never mix them up, despite being carved from the same two-inch cube of timber. “Then tomorrow night, as soon as you get home, we’ll swap them then, and you can wear the spare one to bed. By lunchtime the following day, it’ll have the linseed and shellac coats on that one and protect it for the next eighty years as well.”
Lucas grinned at him. “Eighty years, huh?”
Boyd smirked as well, stealing a quick kiss before returning to his stool and pulling out a small bottle of linseed oil and a soft cloth. “And not a minute less,” he promised, wiping the linseed oil into the ring from all sides before using the dry corner to wipe away the excess. “This one will go in the room overnight to dry, and by the time you get home tomorrow, the shellac will have set.”
He saw the moment he lost Lucas’ interest in the varnishing process and smirked to himself. “This is tiny and easy. Just give me a minute to clean up, and then we can revisit step one of our master plan for coming home.” Utterly wrecking our bed.
“I’d like that.”

Fujin Yumi

In Fire Emblem: Fates, the Fujin Yumi is a mystical bow that belongs to Takumi, second prince of Hoshido and pineapple too angry to die. Thousands of years before the events of Fates, the world was consumed with strife because of war amongst the First Dragons, a dozen lizardmen who argued amongst each other because none of them could agree on what to name the continent of Fateslandia. One of the First Dragons, known as the Rainbow Sage, enlisted humans in this conflict by forging five legendary weapons and giving them to his human champions. After the war ended, humans predictably kept these weapons and proceeded to beat each other senseless with them. Two of the weapons, Raijinto and the Fujin Yumi, wound up as heirlooms of the royal family that followed the Dawn Dragon. Two more, Brynhildr and Siegfried, would become property of the royal family that followed the Dusk Dragon. As penance for getting humans involved in the First Dragons' war and thus plunging humans into their own endless cycle of conflict, he had to remain alive until he undid his mistake. His time finally came when Corrin arrived in Notre Sagesse with the fifth weapon, Yato. At the Rainbow Sage's passing, Corrin would weep furiously over the death of a strange old man they met five minutes ago and who is partly responsible for the ongoing tumult between Nohr and Hoshido.
In Fates, the Fujin Yumi allows Takumi to treat terrain as having a movement cost of 1. Heroes at release gave a different effect: the Fujin Yumi essentially gave Takumi the Pass skill if his HP was least 50%. In a subsequent refine, this effect was modified to be in line with Fates: Takumi now is not slowed by terrain like forests if his HP is at least 50%. Additionally, he can also warp to nearby allies if he has his HP at 50% or more.

Windy Old Bag

Starting with the obvious, Fujin Yumi is Japanese for "wind god bow."
The Kojiki ("An Account of Ancient Matters"), written down around A.D. 712, is a chronicle of early Japanese stories and legends concerning Shinto spirituality and mythology. In the Kojiki, the creator gods Izanami and Izanagi are wed and beget the eight island chains of Japan, as well as a variety of deities. Izanami dies while giving birth to the fire god Kagutsuchi; as he is made of fire, Kagutsuchi immolates Izanami as he is born. Izanagi blames Kagutsuchi for Izanami's death and beheads him.
Izanagi then travels to Yomi, the land of the dead, determined to retrieve his wife. When he finds her in the darkness and shadow, he cannot see her face, but she tells him that she has already eaten the food of the underworld and may only return to the land of the living if she is permitted by the lords of the dead. Izanagi hates the thought of leaving Izanami behind and wants to look upon her face once more, so he lights a torch. To Izanagi's horror, Izanami is a corpse of rotten flesh, feasted upon by maggots. Izanagi flees from her and pushes a boulder in the way to seal off the entrance to the underworld.
From Izanami's head, chest, stomach, hands, legs, and pudenda is born the thunder god, Raijin. Less is said about Fūjin, his brother, who is also born from Izanami's corpse. Nonetheless, both Fūjin and Raijin, as well as several lesser oni (demons) slip out through a gap between the entrance to the underworld and the boulder that Izanagi had left behind.
Fūjin is often depicted in Japanese art as carrying a bag; this is where he keeps the winds. You may have seen a famous illustration of him if you have played Animal Crossing. Although Fūjin and Raijin are oni and therefore usually troublesome, they are said to be Japan's saviors in two different incursions from the Asian mainland, driving away a Mongol invasion in 1274 and a larger combined Mongol-Chinese-Korean invasion in 1281.

Appearances Can Be Deceiving

The Fire Emblem Wikia speculates that the Fujin Yumi is modeled on a mythical Japanese bow, the Ame-no-Makakoyumi. This bow is given to Ame-no-Wakahiko, a god of grains, when he is sent to preside over the earth when Ame-no-Hohi, another god, did not report back to the other gods for several years. Ame-no-Wakahiko goes down to the earth and falls in love with a woman named Shitateruhime. Like Ame-no-hohi, Ame-no-Wakahiko forgets to report back to the other deities. After eight years pass, the other gods send a pheasant to go look for Ame-no-Wakahiko. Seeing the bird, Ame-no-Wakahiko takes the Ame-no-Makakoyumi and shoots it. The arrow cleaves straight through the bird and reaches all the way up to Heaven. The god Takamimusubi intercepts the arrow and flings it back down to earth. The arrow drops on Ame-no-Wakahiko, killing him.
The Wikia further speculates that the Fujin Yumi's arrows are modeled on the Ame-no-Habaya arrows. I admit that I could not find much about the Ame-no-Habaya arrows at all, although it is apparently the namesake of a jutsu used by the character Kinshiki in the Naruto series. It also shows up in the MOBA Onmyoji Arena.
I cannot say where the Wikia draws its conclusion that the Fujin Yumi invokes the Ame-no-Makakoyumi or the Ame-no-Habaya. The myth of Ame-no-Wakahiko is obscure and is not referenced by other Shinto mythology, so I have trouble agreeing with the Wikia's position, which may well be made up entirely.

Conclusion

Unlike Raijinto, the Fujin Yumi's namesake is not self-evident. Indeed, the only reason the Fujin Yumi might be so named is just to reference Raijin's brother. The Fujin Yumi, in its various depictions, does not really invoke wind as a element in the same way that Raijinto obviously invokes lightning.
While the Wikia might be inaccurate about the references to the Ame-no-Makakoyumi and Ame-no-Habaya, it is interesting that another name for the Ame-no-Makakoyumi is Ame-no-Hajiyumi. Players of Dragalia Lost (RIP) may remember that was a bow in that game, too. However, the Ame-no-Hajiyumi was associated with the element of water rather than wind. Put simply, Raijinto was obviously named after thunder god Raijin, so the Fujin Yumi was named after his wind god brother Fūjin but no effort was made to associate the bow itself with wind.
Curiously, Fūjin's bag of wind seems to be more common than expected. The ancient Greek deity Boreas was the god of the northern wind, who may have been accepted among the Bactrians as the wind god Oado, who may have then been accepted by the Chinese as the wind god Feng Bo, and then as the Japanese Fūjin. Their commonality is that they all are depicted with some kind of billowing bag of wind in their iconography. Notably, though, Boreas was also said to be himself kept in a bag, along with his brother winds, by the god Aeolus. This is referenced most famously in The Odyssey, when Odysseus lands on Aeolus's island and pleads for help getting home. Aeolus corrals the North, South, and East winds (Boreas, Notus, and Eurus, respectively) into a bag and lets only the gentle West wind, Zephyrus, blow to allow Odysseus and his crew to sail safely home. Aeolus instructs Odysseus not to open the bag or the other three winds will come out and blow him off-course. Although Odysseus ties up the bag tightly to keep the three winds sealed in, his crew suspects that there is gold in the bag, so they open it while Odysseus is sleeping and let the three winds loose. This naturally blows them off-course and they land back on Aeolus's island. This time, Aeolus tells them they are on their own getting back home. Bags of wind are apparently fairly common in mythology across the ancient world.
Legendary Hinoka's outfit is modeled on that of her mother, Mikoto. Since Mikoto appears as an enemy in Revelation and can wield a bow, there may be some implied connection between her and the Fujin Yumi. Again, the Wikia references a tweet by the Twitter account for Fire Emblem 0 that Mikoto once used the Fujin Yumi, though I could not track down this tweet. Either way, Legendary Hinoka reminds us that Hoshido and Nohr have common ground: both cultures have contempt for royal women because all of Corrin's sisters lack legendary weapons and thus lack plot relevance.

I've been running ToA for a group of friends for about 3 years now and we're finally coming up on the final fight and I just wanted to gush a little about what they've been through during that time. We started before Covid on an every-other-week basis, took some time off at the beginning of the pandemic, and only in the last couple months did we switch to weekly, which is why it's taken us so long. It's also taken so long because I was committed to running by the book: survival checks each day to navigate, track rations, track bug repellant, random encounters, tropical storms. I also implemented Gritty Realism from the DMG, where resting overnight in the jungle was only a Short Rest and they'd have to dedicate an entire day of building out a semifortified camp to rest for the entire next day before breaking it down and continuing. It slowed down progress but I think overall the players like that they were forced to be survivalists.
Early on, the adventurers Nyx (tabaxi monk/warlock), Orynn (gnome wizard) and Ivory (tiefling bard) were hired by Syndra Sylvane to stop the Death Curse. This wouldn't turn out too well, as Nyx was slain in session three or so by a critical Yellow Musk Creeper hit. The party, now featuring human archer-warlock Folsom, hired out the guides River and Flask to explore Camp Righteous, and hired some Flaming Fist soldiers (Gwen and Jean) to delve into the jungle again, finding the goblin city of Yellyark along the way, wherein Gwen barely held the line against the Goblin Boss chieftain and established herself as a badass, before the party yeeted (yote?) the city far into the jungle, but not before acquiring an amulet which they subsequently matched with its Shield Guardian.
The party's next expedition was inspired by a seer in Port Nyanzaru, who told Folsom to seek the sage of Orolunga. They were joined by Inete, who wanted the party to take her to the Aldani Basin to pursue visions of sinister wizards there. They hired Azaka Stormfang to guide them, on the condition that they first stop by the Firefinger to recover her lost artifact, a nearly fatal encounter that included Ivory breaking a leg as he fell from partway up the tower. From there, they met Artus Cimber also on his way to Orolunga, but parted ways afterwards as they headed to the Aldani Basin, briefly meeting Valindra Shadowmantle in the floating Heart of Ubtao where they say from a distance a wrecked skyship. After rescuing the crew of the Star Goddess, they came across and saved another adventuring party, led by a wealthy but not-suited-for-a-jungle mage named Lucas. Taking on all of these extra adventurers strained their supplies to the limit, and it was only through Folsom's foraging that they managed to avoid starvation on their way back to the Port. They also encountered Camp Vengeance, but when forced into service by the master of the camp, the party used Lucas's magical might to decimate the camp before fleeing.
In the city, Lucas told them of his quest to map out routes to Orolunga and Nangalore. Having already mapped out Orolunga, they agreed to find a route to Nangalore for him while he stayed in the port and finalized the deal and bought supplies. Heading into the jungle again, with Inete joining them as her relationship with Orynn slowly grew, the party met a Shadar-Kai Barbarian named Cormag as he was fleeing a T-Rex, and he joined them on thier way to Nangalore. However, Zalkore proved a terrible threat, and petrified both Cormag and Folsom. In the aftermath of the battle against the Medusa, Cormag's sister Amasha, led by the lizardfolk ranger Qyzen Fess, arrived, just barely too late for the siblings to reconnect. The party found their way to Kir Sabal, where they defended the inhabitants from Gargoyles and used the Dance of the Seven Winds to return to Port Nyanzaru.
In the port, they met with the dwarven guide Musharib who offered to take them to his ancestral home of Hrakhammar, offering some of the forge's riches if they help him rid it of the fire newt threat within. They made a deal with their friend Lucas to meet them in Shilku Bay after a few weeks and set off, eventually freeing Hrakhammar for the Albino Dwarves, allowing them to once more establish a proper community on the peninsula.
They met Lucas and his new ship in Shilku Bay to return to Nyanzaru, where they decided to finally use the knowledge gained at Orolunga to find Omu and stop the Death Curse. It was during this time that Orynn decided to retire from adventuring life; the stresses and trauma he suffered in the jungle too much for the poor gnome, he sought therapy and a quieter life with his now-official girlfriend Inete. Similarly, Amasha decided to stay in the city to research ways to un-petrify her brother. To replace them, Lucas hired two new crew members: Lucky In the Dark, a tabaxi swashbuckler, and Tiger's Eye, an elderly Dwarven Sorcerer. Their names never got confusing, I promise. They were also approached by a young half-elf calling herself Xandala, hoping the party might take her to reunite with her father Artus Cimber, if they ever came across him. Sailing down to Shilku Bay once more, their ship was attacked and boarded by pirates, whose storm-mage thwarted Tiger's Eye's long-range fireballs. In the brawl that ensued, Lucky was able to best Captain Laskilar in a (mostly) one-on-one duel, claiming his magical cape for himself. It was not very long after arriving in Shilku Bay that the party, with the information from Saja N'Baza of Orolunga that they discovered the grand ruined capital city: Omu. Now knowing were to go, they returned to Port Nyanzaru for the last time to resupply before venturing into the heart of evil.
This is when Ivory finally departed the group as well, though their friend from the mainland, a Travel-Domain Cleric called Ezra, was in town and recommended to join the expedition to avenge her dog who was slain by the Death Curse. Lucas also hired an additional healer, a priest of Torm named Undril Silvertusk. They were once again accosted as they sailed south, by Captain Al-Saryak, defeating him and his crew as well. During this time, Lucas and Xandala also began to grow close. Traveling across the Valley of Lost Honor, they were scouted and chased by Tsindelor, the Red Dragon of Wyrmheart Mine, and Lucas was forced to offer it all of his gold and treasure to appease it so they could escape.
Omu was difficult. They me a wily old scribe, abandoned by his former employers, named Orvex, and using his knowledge began to slowly conquer various puzzles and traps across the city, collecting Puzzle Cubes for an unknown purpose. This conflict soon put them at odds with a Red Wizard, and while he was slain, he promised the group there more of his people who would crush them. They also had several close encounters with a vast beast, called the King of Feathers, and before long knew they had to hunt him down or be hunted themselves. They confronted him at his amphitheater lair, where they found the rest of the Red Wizards were also trying to slay the magical dinosaur. Rather than putting their differences aside, a great three-sided melee broke out between the party, the Wizards, and the King, eventually leaving the party as the last ones standing. However, Tiger's Eye's heart began to give out, and he returned to the ship in Shilku Bay. It was during these explorations of Omu that an Assassin Vine struck an isolated party member, capturing and killing the beloved Flaming Fist Gwen, who had been with the part for so long. They also found a den of Kobolds under the marketplace, slaying all but one, and telling the survivor that his people were "based" before forcibly recruiting him into the party. Snirbo the Kobold would be given lessons from Lucky on the basics of swordplay, though he was never very good at it. After taking control of the Grung tribe at Nangnang's Shrine, the party found a human knight, ensorcelled by a Nyanzaru guide; a Yuan-Ti in disguise. After being freed, Gilderoy Gleamleaf opted to join the party in their quest, as it was the same as his own: destroy the Soul Monger and end the Death Curse.
In time, they found their way into the back entrance of the Fane of the Night Serpent, the home of the Yuan-Ti of Chult and the lair of the warlord Ras Nsi. The party launched several expeditions into the temple, slaying snakes and freeing prisoners. Ezra and Qyzen soon realized there were too many prisoners to accompany them, but they would be unable to fend for themselves, and escorted them back to the ship. Among the prisoners, two were capable combatants, a Goliath infused with the ancient powers of his giantkin people named Manuyemo, and an elf Chronurgist Wizard named Osmanthus. The expeditions in and out of the Fane were at times disastrous, with both Osmanthus and Undril being captured, and Snirbo being turned to stone, but after Manu was able to beat the Yaun-Ti champion Sekelok, not very many of the remaining Yuan-Ti were serious threats, beyond their ability to consistently Suggest Gilderoy. Within the Fane, the party found a gravely wounded and misbegotten Artus Cimber and his friend Dragonbait, both robbed of their gear including the legendary Ring of Winter. The final confrontation with Ras Nsi, the new wielder of the Ring, was incredibly difficult, as he was able to use the Ring's Wall of Ice to isolate party members to strike with his magical sword. After some very close calls, he was forced to retreat through a teleportation pad. Learning how the pads functioned, several party members were teleported to random parts of the dungeon, before Lucas accidentally found himself face-to-face with the warlord. The sounds of the fight that followed drew the party to Ras Nsi's hidden chambers, where in the moment of all involved being severely weakened, Xandala finally sprung her trap, *Fireball*ing the room to claim the Ring for herself. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough power, and some party members survived to stop her and save their friends from bleeding out.
Opting for mercy for this person they thought was their friend, they let Xandala live, though this far south, she had no choice but to continue to assist the party, or else brave the jungle alone and surely die. As various other teammates handled the Ring, they were all tempted to violence until it found itself back within Artus's grasp. As thanks for freeing him and Dragonbait and returning the Ring, he decided to help the party through the upcoming Tomb of the Nine Gods.
With all Puzzle Cubes from the Red Wizards and Ras Nsi in hand, the party finally entered the Tomb of Annihilation.
It was not easy. Artus became cursed very early on, removing his ability to regain hit points and slowly sapping his life, forcing him to stay out of most fights as the party battled Tomb Guardians and Dwarf-Wights. They found the administration office of the Tomb run by Withers, who was unable to escape and slain, Gilderoy claiming his amulet.
While no part of the Tomb was pleasant, the first tragedy of the Tomb was during the fight against the invisible beholder Belchorz, who turned Lucas to stone. This was not easy for the group, and especially not for Xandala. It was also around this time that the party started suffering nightmares in the Tomb, even protected by Tiny Hut spells, with some of them losing maximum HP and unable to recover during Long Rests. The second tragedy was on a lower level, when Gilderoy entered a secret room and snuffed out a candle. He was teleported out of the room and never seen again, though we know he was ground to nothingness along with all he was wearing and carrying.
Pressing on, the party found a throne Room and a hidden sarcophogus with a fine necklace atop it. Giving the necklace to Jean to appease the spirit of Nangnang possessing him, he put it on, activating its curse and becoming the center of an 8th-level *Fireball,* disintegrating immediately and awakening the Zombie T-Rex hidden below the room. After slaying the beast, it disgorged a curious sight: A spore-infested Firbolg calling itself Cousin Klemba, who had been disintigrated in the tomb years earlier, but by a 1-in-a-billion magical chance, its spores managed to survive and reconstitute inside the flowery gut fauna of the T-Rex. Activating the second trap in Napaka's sarcophogus room really put a damper on the party's mood, and they decided to avoid all distractions and recover the last of the Skeleton Keys without exploring any more rooms than strictly necessary.
At the bottom of the Tomb, they finally came head-to-head with the Hags who had been tormenting them: the Sewn Sisters Baggy Nanna, Peggy Deadbells, and Widow Groat, each accompanied by two Wraiths. The fight was brutal, perhaps the most difficult so far, as the Hags used very effective Hold Person spells to lock down the gorup as the Wraiths began to critically hit them, reducing max HP and inflicting massive damage. All the while, the Hags were able to counter most of the party's spells while phasing in and out of the Ethereal. Widow Groat even managed to acquire one of the Skeleton Keys, but was slain by Keshma al-Wazir, a dao genie that was indebted to the party after being freed by them, before Groat could escape to the Ethereal plane.
Now, with all of the Hags dead, the party might be able to have their first complete and uninterrupted Long Rest in the Tomb, before opening the Skeleton Gate and confronting, at long last, the Soul Monger.
This Sunday, we're meeting in person again for the finale. I've been constructing a 3D version of the final fight, and a custom scuplt of the Atropal inspired by ideas on this sub. I'm gonna kill them all.

Hi, Before I go into what happened, I know I can not hope on any compassion from anyone,especially online,but please restrain from leaving unnecessary and overly judgemental comments here.. I am now at the very lowest point in my life and just a little away from doing something very stupid..
In short, do I have a right for a free lawyer in Switzerland,if things in my case go bad (I always "prepare" for the worst)..? I am unemployed,because I take 100% care of my children here in Switzerland.. few months ago I decided to try microdosing in order to somehow ,somewhat come out of the very miserable state I am constantly am in. Recently I finally figured out what actually is wrong with me and why I react the way I do, why I am paranoid about trusting people or institutions, why I have frequent thoughts of how actually best decision would be just unalive myself, what causes my disregulation and how actually f-ed up I am, why I get so incredibly stressed whenever someone rings my door bell, why I cry every morning before I need to leave the house..and many more. It doesn't matter what has happened to me,what matters is I want to finally find a REAL working solution to fix me myself. None of what I have tried before ,has helped.. going to psychologists or even trying to start therapy has made everything much worse. Just the thought that I would have to tell a stranger in a white robe about my past,and bring all that crap out again, gives me instant physical tremor and sends me in a really weird fight or flight mode. My speech gets slurred and I sound retarded. That happened in the police station. I live in constant fear, rage,paranoy, panic and I spend enormous amount of inner resources to hide it or trying to ignore it and act normal. With years passing by , it has become so bad,I can not hide it anymore or even have energy to do it. I don't drink, I don't smoke weed (have tried those and results were absolutely horrible,effect from weed was the worst- I got such bad panic and fear feeling,that I thought I would die from heart attack).
My distrust to people is so severe,that I have isolated myself as much as possible,also because being in public triggers intense heart palpitations, my face goes numb, but my body starts to shake ,I become so clumsy as a drunk person,and I can become very angry ,because I don't know how to control it. So having fear to lash out in public,and being constantly triggered by random smells, sounds, even coloured clothing or seeing someone's appearance that reminds me of aomething bad, gives me flashbacks, has become unbearable. After researching plant medicine, I decided to order psyloc.microdosing sheets, and it was one of the only available options for shipping to Switzerland. After weeks and weeks of waiting and customs package detention, one day a policeman came to our door and said I need to come to the office station and fill out some questionnaire. As I did not understand fully what he was saying and reading in German, a translator was provided (I have a serious problem with processing information while being severely distressed,as it happened this time), but after a short time into the questioning, I started to feel the awful disregulation coming in- I could not concentrate, I wanted to cry (I hate crying in anybody's presence),so I ran out in the corridor and tried to contain myself and felt extremely ashamed because I could not control my reaction again,when it's needed. Now I have a very very bad feeling, that I actually did not leave the station completely,after nervous breakdown. The police officer seemed a complete dick- very rude and as if he had some personal power tripping on me (that's probably my traumatizing experiences perceive it like that, most likely ue does not give a single flying fk about anything,but filling out papers). He seemed very uninformed and stuck up repeating word "drugs" and "tripping". Pretty sure he has absolutely no information about why and how shrooms can be used,except tripping. But whatever. I didn't know about my order being illegal, giving that here in Switzerland there are therapists using psychedelics as treatment..(Yes yes,not an excuse,I know) I looked up and decided not to even try to proceed.. I don't need a middle man involved in trying to solve my crap,unless I have someone who had the same issues I have and they actually had overcome those. Now ,as I understood,the standard procedure is-case goes to public prosecutor and Swiss cps will be informed too(supposedly I wanted to drug my children,like honestly wtf..who even does that.. all I wanted ,was to try something that promised to bring mental clarity, diminished severe depression, giving energy which I need so much. That's it.). I supposedly have rights to have a lawyer,which I cannot afford of course. I haven't had any interactions here ever with police. Now I feel as the only option to end all this crap is to end myself,and these thoughts always scare the crap out of me.. I would like to ask for advice,how to properly handle all this situation, because in a state of mind and being I am right now, I am very close to having decisions based of unregulated emotions and trauma,that I just can not shake off. Translator said something about just having to pay a fine as I haven't had any problems with anything like that before ,but as much I would like to believe a stranger this time, I trust no one. I just can't. !!Please,don't advise me to seek therapists- conventional therapies,psy-ists, talk therapies and meeting with people will only make it worse, and no,medication won't help to fix neurological disorder and brain damage caused by being traumatised for years.
Don't be "sorry" for me, I can not stand being pittied,it's a horrible feeling..
Also,If anyone has any good suggestions for how to deal with effects of Cptsd, or anything that could actually help to get out of ongoing mental and physical torture, I would really appreciate that.. I am still willing to find solutions myself,and not to rely on anyone but myself , as it has always been this way. I am not that weak as it seems probably. I just don't know where to start and what to do.
