Hi everyone. I hope you are having a nice day. God bless you all. I'm bringing to you here my own experience that I think is likely to be more than a coincidence but I'm not quite sure. Either way. Thank you if you took your time to read the whole article and reply.
I (20F) recently got dumped in my first relationship. It didn't last more than 3 months but I was devestated. I cried and cried everyday. Prayed the rosary everyday. Prayed novenas back to back for months. My ex (23M) was a CEO (Christmas-Easter Only) Catholic and the breakup lead me back to God so I really do think it was meant to happen.
4 months have passed and I'm finally in a much better place. Recently for the first time since like years, I met someone new and was interested in someone other than my ex (I was in an unrequited love with my ex for like 2 years before we dated so imagine just how much more devestating it felt when we broke up lol.)
I was quite lukewarm about moving on. I'd made up my mind to move on but every night I prayed something along the lines of "Please let us reconcile by your will and timing so that the relationship will come to last forever and reflect the glory of your grace, love and mercy."
The story goes. I attended mass last Sunday and by the end of it, somehow made up my mind to get over my ex finally. It was the end of hoping, pining, daily prayers for him and us. On the train ride home, I read an article about moving on by a Christian writer that truly encouraged me. And finally decided to believe that it was the right thing to let go.
Exactly after that by some impulse. One of my closest guy friends and classmate (19M, takened) had asked me yesterday if I wanted to work on our assignments together the next day. So I agreed and invited him to eat brunch in the hawker center next to our apartment. Almost all students in our college live in the same apartment because it was walking distance from school.
As we were finding a place to sit before ordering food, he suddenly went over to ruffle a stranger's head. Those two strangers turned out to be his high school friends who is a year above us in college. We're all born in the same year (so we'll be 20 this year) but are in different college years because I took a gap year to work and my friend delayed enrollment because of covid.
Anyways one of his high school friends was really funny and nice. And I guess for the first time in literal years, I was actually interested in someone other than my ex. We exchanged IG handles before we parted ways. Anyways I was pleasantly surprised afterwards when I got home because I thought all feelings and romantic interest inside me has shriveled up and died after my ex.
So the next day I woke up and I prayed: "If this is a sign to move on. Let me meet him again before today ends." And then that night when I totally forgot I prayed that, I was hanging out with the same classmate and other classmates in the convenience store in the bottom of our apartment when the topic was brought up that I met his high school friends yesterday. That was when we saw him and he waved by at my friend from outside the convenience store otw back to his building.
I suddenly remembered what I prayed that morning. I mean. It could be a coincidence but at the same time what are the chances?
So I prayed again the next day, by this time it would be Tuesday morning. Because third time's the charm right? Because it would truly be crazy to meet that person 3 days in a row. Anyways. Fast forward around 9 pm last Tuesday. I met him again in that convenience store. This time we exchanged a few words before he went back. So 3 days in a row. Starting from the day I finally decided to move on from my ex.
I guess I'm just confused because after that I keep trying to have chance encounters again. And I haven't been able to. So it made me think like maybe God was just using him as a vessel to show me that it's right to move on. Not necessarily to move on with HIM.
And tbh I wouldn't mind either way since I really just met him for the first time 5 days ago. It wayyy too soon to already like someone else, we talked in total less than 30 minutes and I've just recently recovered from a breakup. I mean only God knows what it truly was and that 3 days in a row thing was so funny that even looking at it from an outsiders point of view, given how hard I was trying to find "encounters" in the next 2 days since then, it's virtually impossible to force an encounter just like that.
To be honest I'm not even sure God wants me to be with him either. Since although he is a Catholic, he is by his own words "4 years retired from church". LOL. So I don't know. I guess I'm just sharing a story that I kind of already know the answer to. I guess I just want to hear what others think from a more religious perspective.
I guess I feel like God is using him and this 3 day in a row encounter to tell me that it's time to move on. Not necessarily with him but at least in life.
And to be honest I'm just most greatful for the opportunity to finally move on from my ex. It's been a long hard 4 months. And honestly, I'm just glad that my withered leaves have started to bloom again.

Last season, we began 3-4 and finished 13-4 but lost out on the one seed by a game.
We have not lost a home playoff game under Kyle and have lost the last 2 NFCCG because our QB wasn't 100%.
Is it a must to get the home field and first Rd bye if we are seriously contending for the sixth ?
If so, does that affect our urgency to start hot and secure home field?
Does that factor into our QB decision.There has been a section of fans saying we can afford to start Lance for 2-4 games to see what we have but if that risks us falling too far behind the Eagles( yes, they're gonna be good again) or whoever the one seed is, do they even chance that?

Hey guys,
So my gf and I are going to QT in late July for our first ever ski trip. Neither of us have ever been skiing/snowboarding.
However, I have one question. My gf is pretty nervous about it since she's never tried it before, so we're concerned that booking ski passes for multiple days might be too much of a committment if she doesn't like it as much as she thinks.
So far, we've booked an 'intro to snow' pass, which is an all-day thing and includes lessons and equipment rental.
However, for any subsequent days, I suppose we need to book a 'full day pass' right? If so, does this still apply even if we want to do non-snowboard/ski related activites like taboganning or sightseeing? And is this the case for both the Remarkables and Coronet? I've read that the passes get you entry into both.
Basically we want to book a pass online that will give us the flexibility to decide on the day whether or not we go there for skiing/snowboarding, or other snow-related activities.
I just want to know what our options are if we book the pass and don't want to waste it in case we don't feel like boarding/skiing.
Does every activity on the mountain require a lift pass? Even hiking/walking trails?

We live on a corner lot, and our front yard has an extra sidewalk that cuts the corner, creating a path to our front door from either the front or side of our lot. Since we’re near a park, we get a decent amount of people walking by and probably 1 in 4 chooses to cut the corner onto our property, versus continuing to the edge of the lot and making a right turn on the city sidewalks.
We don’t mind people passing through, but as the concrete is an exact match to the city sidewalk and the segments are starting to lift, we’re wondering if we shouldn’t get a small trespassing sign to ward off the crazies? We live in Florida so there are many.
I found this guidance that says we shouldn’t be liable if someone tripped and fell on our lot because they would be an “undiscovered trespasser”. However, this is also an ad from a major personal injury firm in our area 😂
For the sign, I was thinking “if you can read this, you are trespassing. We will not be held liable for any injuries that occur while you are on private property. Enjoy the path at your own risk”. This would be way cheaper than tearing up our yard to fix two chunks of sidewalk that aren’t a bother to regular people.

I look 8 months pregnant. The bloat or gas or whatever the hell it is hurts. There is so much damn pressure. I've taken gas x, stool softeners, drank a ton of water and nothing works. I am embarrassed to go out because I look super pregnant. This pressure and pain is just as bad as the surgical pain. I also feel like I can't pass gas, although I do at times (so I don't fear a blockage). It is like I am full of gas. Also 3 weeks post op so I know it isn't being blown up from surgery. I either need to fart for about an hour or someone prick me and I'll just float away. Any help is appreciate. ANY!!!!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS last week due to my 60-120 day cycles and elevated testosterone levels found via bloodwork. However, I still have to do an ultrasound. Other than the period issue though, I don't have many classic PCOS symptoms. Very minor acne, very mild excess hair (just shave every so often. No big deal), and I am not overweight.
The one issue that I do experience though, is one-sided lower pelvic pain at completely random points throughout my cycle. It often switches sides and lasts for only a few days, occurring maybe 2-3 times per cycle. It feels like a sort of heaviness almost, as opposed to actual pain which makes me wonder if It's just cysts forming. It's never severe, mainly just annoying since I can feel it if I walk or cough/sneeze too hard lol
I also experience painful cramps on the first day of my period which seem to greatly vary in intensity. Most of the time, I just need to sit with a heating pad for a bit, and medication is unnecessary/1 ibuprofen works. On the other hand, there have been periods where I have left school and taken 3 ibuprofen before curling up in the fetal position and breaking out in a cold sweat, unable to move for hours after throwing up or passing out. I have tried tracking symptoms to find a correlation between the severe cramps and stress/diet/exercise/cycle length, etc. I can't seem to figure out why some periods barely affect me, yet others are debilitating. I brought it up with my gynecologist, and she wrote it down in my notes but didn't say anything about it other than "ok good" after I told her that ibuprofen does indeed get rid of the pain in most cases lol
I have heard super mixed information, with some people saying PCOS should not cause pain, but other people saying that it was one of their main symptoms. I have thought about asking my gynecologist about her thoughts on potential endometriosis since some symptoms seem to align, but again, super varied information on the topic. I have read that it's extremely unlikely to have both conditions, yet I have also read that they can be comorbidities.
Because of my age, it has taken me years to recieve the PCOS diagnosis. Doctors haven't taken me seriously up until this point, and even now, I'm being disregarded. I was told that my only treatment options are progesterone or birth control, and was just sent away with well wishes for future fertility. Not something in the forefront of my mind as an 18 year old :/
Asking about another issue is a can of worms I'm not sure I would like to open. Is there anyone here who only has PCOS, but simultaneously experiences pain-related symptoms like pelvic discomfort or cramps?

Is there a chess library in Python (or any other programming language but Python preferred) that will allow me to identify the opening of a game by passing the PGN of the game as input? Doesn’t necessarily have to be a library. Am willing to just take unorganized code and work with it too if someone has something like this. Just for a personal project, not for anything serious.

I ride a road bike with a full Shimano 105 R7000 11sp. groupset. (Bought new)
The shifting has always been off. I spent lots of time trying to set it up, tried different frames, shift levers and chains (SRAM & Shimano) but it never really got better so I just lived with it.
Recently I bought a used set of training wheels wich had a 11sp Shimano 105 5800 cassette on it for bad weather.
Voila - absolutely perfect shifting and running really quite.
Now this got me thinking and I tested 3 Cassettes on 2 different bikes. All cassettes are 11-28t.

• On my gf’s bike (Ultegra r8000)

All of the 3 cassettes/wheels worked well. The 5800 cassette was a little noisier than the other ones.

• On my bike (105 R7000)

The wheel with the 5800 cassette was perfect
R7000 Cassette was noisy and had a few miss-shifts
R8000 Cassette was even worse than R7000
The Shimano chain on my bike is almost new and I also swapped the cassettes between wheel sets to make sure that the freehub ist not the problem.
Can someone explain me the difference in the cassette models? 5800 Cassettes are not being sold anymore so I need a long time solution for the problem. Maybe someone can help me out.

I'm looking into buying a car! Right now I'm driving a hand me down Hyundai venue which gets the job done but I can't help wanting something nicer. Thanks for helping me out =)
My budget would be around 60k CAD or lower ideally so I understand not everything will be attainable here!
Things that matter to me:

• Aesthetics: I love Mercedes' design language the most. The clean luxury look, not necessarily a more aggressive or sporty look. Although the GLC Coupe is one of my favourite looking cars. Other than that the CLA and CLS are beautiful too. But that luxury aesthetic is something I want.
  
• Tech: must have Android Auto and a good sound system. 360 parking camera also a nice to have. A decent UI is obviously important.
  
• Interior: Heated seats and wheel and a quiet cabin are very important. I hate not being able to hear my music properly lol. Classy look and feel with nicer materials preferably. I'm also big on LED lights
  
• Comfort: VERY IMPORTANT. Nice seats, comfortable drive. Comfortable for passengers. I want it not to be too harsh on break or acceleration if possible. I have a small dog and he gets carsick easily. But if I can change drive modes when he's not in the car then that would be nice.
  
• Performance: not super important tbh, I mostly drive in the city so as long as it's zippy enough for that
  
• Size/Space: Coupe or sedan 4 door is a must. Decent amount of boot space and rear seat space is a very nice to have as I often drive with passengers (and my dog) and bring luggage around to visit my parents. I'm only 5'6 so my rear passengers usually don't have as much trouble with legroom, for what that's worth.

I miscalculated setting the voting threshold at 30 votes minimum needed to pass a proposal. Most Daos are actually using between 1 to 6 percent with probably about a 5 percent average. With so many carbon wheels between 25-65 deep how do I choose best climbing wheel ? Is it better to save weight in the spokes but then get hit by side wind? Thanks

Here we are, the day after the bill was passed by the Senate on raising the debt limit. The sky didn't fall. You didn't need to grab your bug-out bag and Overland across the hillside. It was noise. Because the market has been here before. A bunch of times now. Look at a chart of the vix. it was telling you this the whole time.

I graduated in April and was have been eligible to receive orders, but I still do not even have projections indicating where I might go. There is about 20-30 other soldiers who are in the same boat as me. I’m current on Medpros, drills have reached out, our S1 is non-existent, and higher ups have been telling us that things are in “limbo.” Just reaching to out to see if there is anything I can do to speed up this progress and if not is there something I can do to help my situation in being stuck as an IET soldier lumped in with drills treating me the same as brand new privates who just got out of basic. I’ve been in this AIT for 10 months graduating a month ago and I have already passed my one year mark in the Army. Any help or advice is much appreciated!

So lately I been having many different symptoms just trying to get a better understanding of what might be going on. Symptoms: -Whole body aches -Joint pain and stiffness -Always tired -Raynaud's phenomenon -Low blood pressure -Frequent urination -Feel like I'm going pass out if I'm up and moving to long -headaches -butterfly rash (only for like one day) Blood work: -Negative ANA antibodies -Positive RNP antibodies (1.4) less than 1 negative - High blood protein and albumin -really high IgG levels (1864) where range 600-1640 -everything else was normal I was told it wasn't MCTD because of the negative ANA even with positive RNP. But I don't have all the symptoms of SLE. Also thought it my could be Addison's disease due to low blood pressure and other symptoms but I haven't got my cortisol levels tested.
