Maybe it’s an issue with the Tracfone Android phone I’m using, which has worked well for around 2 years, but in the past couple of weeks I am having a real hard time keeping the app connected. Every time I pick the phone up it’s frozen on the PW sensor page and I have to switch over to another tab in the app and then back over to Sensor for it to reconnect to the Atmotube. It then repeats the same issue.

Hey peeps! So, I got super shit news today; after dropping $900 on repairs, it looks like my truck (Ford ranger 2000) is absolutely out of commission unless I can get work done that's another $2000
Sadly I'm out the 900, but I'm not interested in spending another 2k just for them to find something else, so I'm looking for a new car.
I don't need fancy, I don't need cool. I need something that drives, and preferably at a good price. This lead me to the versa, a 2023 versa is cheap and has great mpg, reviews seem good but I always prefer asking groups like this.
I don't know anything about cars, the truck was a hand me down I've driven for 4 years, so everything here including sitting in a dealership is foreign to me. If you have advice along with opinions on the car, that'd be swell.

So for context I (19f) finally convinced my sister (29f) to leave her abusive boyfriend who we all know likes children. They started dating when she was 15 and he was about 37. She found some messages of him sending “videos” to 13/14 year olds. I had to literally threaten to call the police to get her to finally do it. So she moved back in with my mom even though she pretty much hated her. I promised her she could move in with me as long as she was working and saving to move out. I told her I’d pay all the bills and Uber her back and forth to work so she could focus on saving. The plan sounds great.. In theory. After living with them again at my mom’s house I quickly remembered why nobody wanted to let her live with them even when she was facing homelessness for over a year. My sister has an absolutely horrible attitude problem. She’ll get mad about something small and insignificant and she takes it out on everybody. And her daughter doesn’t like to clean up after herself and when she’s told to clean up she literally just ignores you. I work a regular 9-5 but I’m always looking for extra jobs and I constantly send them to my sister and it’s like she never applies or puts in effort to get the jobs. I told her I was going to send her an email and a link to a job that was hiring and she literally caught an attitude with me. It really feels like I’m putting more effort into trying to help her find a job than she is. She doesn’t like to reprimand or discipline her child and she gets mad anytime someone else does. I’m honestly starting to rethink letting her live with me but I feel bad for going back on my word. AITA?

Instead of street clothes, I put on my swimsuit and walked out into the main part of the gym to be weighed and measured. Given my recent losses and toning, I felt good enough to walk out there and stand on that composition scale to get my beautiful, beautiful numbers. I was not concerned about my shape or anything hanging out or anything I couldn't be proud of after all this work.

My gf(33f) of 9years broke up with me(31m) 4 weeks ago because basically I fucked up. My mental health was bad for a year and I’d take out my problems in her. I was basically being toxic. The past 4 months tho I’ve been going to therapy and I feel like I’m in a much better place. I’ve been giving my ex space as much as I can. I’ll text her, and we’ll hangout every here and there. The more I’ve been giving her space I’ve noticed her anger and resentment go down. She’s not as angry and anxious as she was when she initially broke up with me. She seems to be in a better place. Much more work needed to heal tho on her end as she’s resuming therapy again after a 3 week hiatus because talking about the relationship gave her anxiety. Anyway my question is, should I keep this going? We had a good time today, we walked along the beach and caught up. How should I go about this?? I don’t want to ruin my chances…she seems open to reconciling at some point once we are both in a better place she’s able to trust that my mental health is better. Any advice would be appreciated thank you guys 🙏🏻

Hey guys! I have worked in a firm in India for almost 1 year and have resigned few days ago but when I requested my manager to shorten my notice period (which is of 2 months) for genuine reasons, manager said he can leave me early but as per my offer letter, if I opt for the choice of not serving the full notice period, I need to pay the company that many days of salary which I will not be serving. When I showed my offer letter to my HR and manager stating that there is no mention of notice period buyout, HR said then there is only 1 option, I have to serve for 60 days.
Also, my manager who is also my TL assigned me a new story the day I resigned and pressurising me to give my 100%. He is complaining the HR almost everyday and the HR is threatening me that she will terminate my employment and not give me experience/relieving letter. Kindly tell me is it possible for an employer to terminate an employee while being on notice period? Wouldn't it be an illegal termination as per the labour laws of India?
I have requested my manager and HR numerous times that I am leaving for higher studies, so please release me early since as a fresher I barely have any dependency in the team and it is difficult for me to work right now. Initially my manager had agreed to release me early in lieu of me paying them but as I showed them tht it is not a part of my employment contract, they completely changed their decision and don't want to release me before 60 days. This shopper ahead of in line was yelling at the bagger how she wanted her items organized, and completely flipped when the bagger broke a creamer. She had three orders and the cherry on top was she had forgotten her physical card at a Walmart, which does not take apple-pay. So many shoppers are inconsiderate of others just blocking off an entire aisle. I was often seeing this same shopper at Kroger and she completely cut off an old lady in a wheelchair looking at some products.
Not to mention some of the cockiness I saw at staters when a shopper was bragging to a cashier she had already made $230 that day when she was just initiating conversation on instacart by saying “I would never be able to do insta cart” and the shopper replied “it’s clearly not for everyone.”
I’ve been doing Instacart for two years and I was so oblivious until now that I’ve dedicated it to doing full time, it’s just upsetting seeing shoppers built this negative reputation.

I just had top surgery a few weeks ago, mostly covered by my insurance, and I've been thinking about how to accomplish the rest of my surgeries within the next few years. I want a total hysterectomy, RFF phalloplasty, UL, scrotoplasty, v-ectomy, an erectile pump implant, and possibly glansplasty. I'm under my mom's insurance (BCBS of Michigan) currently but she just left her job and I'll only be covered for 18 more months. I was planning on switching to Medicaid of Illinois but I made $900 too much last year to qualify for it since I work full time and am not in college. Here's what I've been thinking:

- Start my hysto planning (finding surgeons, getting consults, etc. at the end of this year (2023)
- either quit working completely or drastically cut my hours in 2024 so I can qualify for medicaid in 2025. Start college so I have something to do with my time.
- Get the hysto sometime in 2024 (will give me enough time to fully recover from top + enjoy having full autonomy for a bit before I'm back in recovery mode)
- Start electrolysis once I'm recovered from hysto (I've got a decent amount of hair on my arm so it'll prolly take a few sessions)
- start phallo consults end of 2024
- apply for medicaid in mid-2025, continuing to ensure my income is under the limit
- get stage 1 phallo under medicaid in 2025
- get stage 2 phallo in 2026
- prolly a revision surgery either between the first two stages or after the second stage (since I'm getting so much done I just want to plan for one now to avoid disappointment later down the road)

I'm sure strip clubs have been discussed here thoroughly but they're usually in the context of actual relationships. I, on the other hand, have been seeing this guy since February. We are long distance but have seen each other twice in that time and have another visit planned at the end of June. We have expressed really liking each other but wanting to take things slow. So, in July he's going to a strip club for a bachelor party. I have no issues with strip clubs in general but I have issues with someone I like going because it just hurts. I'm sure strip clubs have been discussed here thoroughly but they're usually in the context of actual relationships. I, on the other hand, have been seeing this guy since February. We are long distance but have seen each other twice in that time and have another visit planned at the end of June. We have expressed really liking each other but wanting to take things slow. I'm 31F and he's 35M.
So, in July he's going to a strip club for a bachelor party. I have no issues with strip clubs in general but I have issues with someone I like going because it just hurts. This is known to be a very hands on strip club where the women perform oral on each other on stage, and the women are grabbing and groping the men, shoving their body parts in their face.

Hi guys!
Been a 34" ultrawide user for 2 years and was on verge for upgrading, but I figured why not try super ultrawide. I have 4090 so rocking one wouldn't be an issue as well.
But, is it worth it or not really? My go to game is League of Legends and I would want to play other single player games, mostly new but some old titles as well (like Batman and Bioshock).
Thought of qleds but since LoL has a lot of static ui stuff and I like working on my pc, figured it might not be for me. So the next was 38 inch ones but sadly I am spoiled with VA and I don't like IPS (eyes hurt).
The only thing left is getting a higher end monitor with more features like HDR (PG35VQ or similar) as mine is sub 300 bucks decent monitor which is practically a barebone. But again my monitor is holding up nicely and spending about 600 to get a new one for just a few added features seems ridiculous.
This is how I reached to 49 super ultrawides.
How is the transition and how is the size in general in terms of playing games and working?

which can get quite annoying esp with my girl bc I feel like I can’t communicate my thoughts clearly which makes me fear I look I competent/stupid and useless
I feel like I always have to break up my sentences and somewhat fall/struggle over words, even though I know what I want to say - thought it might have something to do with me hesitating/doubting what’s coming out of my mind and trying to reiterate too late which messes up my brain to mouth connection?
do more of yall have this, how to work on this bc I need to change this asap

Okay so I’m not in the headspace to get into the details but, my one year old fur son recently passed from sudden kidney failure, he was my whole world and I’m in a lot of pain to say the very least. My therapist lets me text her whenever, bc I have her work phone number and not her personal one. Anyway, I messaged her multiple times throughout the horrendous three day period of taking my doggy to multiple different vets and ultimately having to put him down, and she never replied once, even though there has been other times she did respond over things that weren’t even that big of a deal, it’s like she chose to just completely disregard me at the worst possible timing. Obviously I know, she isn’t obligated to respond nor does she owe me a response, BUT I do feel like there has been a rupture bc I’m just triggered by it, not responding to me during a crisis isn’t exactly a recipe for continued trust.
It isn’t just that though, today was my first session since he passed away and she just didn’t seem, there… idk how to explain it, but I need her support now more than ever and she barely said anything, I repeatedly expressed in detail, that I am struggling with guilt to a crippling degree, and can’t stop replaying this past year in my head, as though I was a horrible mommy to my baby boy. She did say guilt is a normal part of grief but she didn’t say much else and I definitely need more insight, I didn’t show up to feel like I’m talking to somebody who has no how to respond to anything.
It’s just extremely confusing, and I’m not exactly in the head space to sit there and try to express to her that I feel like she doesn’t care, but I’m ngl I feel angry at her. I’m sure some of that is misplaced, but it’s like she’s been so helpful with so many different things, but this is when she chooses to get all quiet? She’s not at all new either, so it’s not like this is her time dealing with a client who is grieving, I’m trying not to take it personally but I genuinely needed, and still need more from her and I’m afraid if things continue like this, our therapeutic relationship is really going to suffer to the point of no return. She didn’t even ask me if I was up to a session, which that in of itself really hurt me bc, she didn’t respond to anything before that and then didn’t even check in the day of our session to see if I was even capable of showing up.
I just don’t get why she is getting so quiet on me and just kind of disappearing, she told me before we got off of zoom today that I could text her whenever and she would respond but like?? You didn’t before so why are you telling me this now?
I do want to mention, I have abandonment issues, and her response, and lack of response, just kind of reminded me of how people who didn’t exactly give a shit, responded and it’s triggered me.
