I'm looking at booking an award from DTW to SYD in late August to early September. The 30 day calendar show numerous days of 40k miles, but when I click on any of them the lowest is listed at 55k miles. United support says it's a latency problem (Its been like this for at least 5 days) and there are no 40k awards available. If that's so why are they shown on the calendar? Am I missing something? I started a new job recently that has me on call 24/7 1 week out of the month and we use PagerDuty for the on-call rotation schedule and the actual on call pages, I've synced PagerDuty to my personal calendar so it shows up on my personal calendar when I'm on call but I want an alert to show up in big letters at the top, mostly for my wife to see. Is there a way to send out a notification from the default calendar module I've been using or another way to accomplish what I'm looking for?

Hey friends, today I went on a quick hike on the Cumberland Trail by Suck Creek. I've never been out that way before but hike often. Was surprised by how wild the trail was and seems like not too many folks are using it.
While out there i heard some sounds ive never heard hiking around here. This is going to sound goofy, but it sounded just like the sound the velociraptors from Jurassic Park made, like that coughing-screaming sound. I was making my way back down the trail to my car (ran into a downed tree so i had to turn around) and i heard the sound three times close to me along with footsteps in the leaves. Not gonna lie, scared me good. I listened for a minute but kept moving and heard it and footsteps a few more times but always further away. It was always that weird cough-scream done three times in concessions.
My partner suspects it was a Bobcat and im thinking the same, but was curious if anyone on here had any ideas?.

A single elderly woman moved in next door. She had surgery a couple of weeks ago and in preparation she texted us from the HOA directory that she may need some help. I politely said that we aren’t always around (we have busy lives), but if she does have an emergency to let us know.
She then proceeds to ask us to do things for her daily. The first was asking to move her car in the garage, which we did, but then she mentioned having to take a shower and she wasn’t sure how she was going to do that. We stopped communicating with her at that point.
Now that she is better, she comes outside every time we do and comes over to talk. It’s often non-sensical rambling about some volunteer thing or another. We’ve ignored her a few times but she stands at our fence and waves and shouts.
AITA for not wanting to help and being frustrated for even having to wonder if I’m obligated to help? AITA also for wanting some sense of privacy? To go out in my yard without having to speak to her?
How have others dealt with this side of homeownership?

I live in Maryland, USA. My car was towed today because I parked in a visitor spot without a permit. I just started a new job and was at my clients house. They said that they've never seen anyone getting towed, so parking there without a permit shouldn't be a problem. Obviously, that was bad advice and I shouldn't have been so naive. I've never gotten towed, before.
When I picked my car up from the lot, I realized that my $300 aftermarket exhaust had gotten damaged by the towing. It got badly bent. Instead of a circle shape, it looks more like a frown now. I spoke with the guy who towed my car and he said that he's new there. He actually took pictures of my car as he got it ready to tow, which he also sent to the company before leaving the neighborhood.
When I noticed the damage at the lot, he let me take a look at the pictures that he took earlier. In at least one picture, maybe two (I can't remember), you can zoom in and clearly see that my exhaust was not damaged before the towing. Both the employee and myself took pictures of the damage at the lot where you can see the difference. He called his boss who said for me to call about it tomorrow. The boss sounds like a jerk, though.
I'm not sure what happens when something like this occurs. I have proof from the photos that they caused the damage, and the truck driver pretty much implied that it was his fault with that. What happens if I call tomorrow and they refuse to compensate me in some way for it? Like, shouldn't they pay to fix it or replace it? Do I need to take any legal action? Or insurance action? I spent a lot of money on that exhaust, and then had to pay $250 to get my car back. Any related information or advice would be appreciated!

So I’m 23f, before meeting my boyfriend 29M, I have never dated anyone, I also had quite the unique childhood lol, I have no clue was a healthy relationship looks like. so if I am being completely overdramatic like he says I’m sorry for asking, it just frustrates me but sometimes I get frustrated easy.

-One thing everyone knows about me is I love iced coffee, & won’t drink hot coffee. Despite me only ordering iced coffee and always having one with me, if he picks up coffee for us without asking he always gets me a hot black coffee.. the first few times I just added ice to it, but then I told him one time I didn’t like it and he somehow still does it.. He does the same thing with food, he will always come by with dinner but it seems like he doesn’t even know what I like, we eat at this one restaurant all the time near his house and I order the exact same meal every time yet when he brings takeout from there it’s always something random or even something I really dislike. I hate pasta in any form, which I’ve told him and he still brought it too me.
These are just two examples but on my 23rd birthday last week he wanted to make me breakfast in bed and wouldn’t tell me what, and brought me pancakes. He should know I hate them because when he asks for them in the morning I make myself something different, so I finally told him I felt like he didn’t know I single thing about me. I told him I know everything about him I could literally tell you his favourite anything, and I did. He said I was being over dramatic and I should be grateful because he’s just trying to do nice things for me. Then I asked him to tell me anything he knows about me and he ignored me. But I don’t understand the point of bringing me things I don’t like..
Even for my birthday present he got me all purple jewelry because “it was my favourite colour” it was beautiful but I literally drive a pink car and wear all pink.. that one you don’t even need to memorize.
It’s almost like he’s doing it on purpose or something but I just don’t understand what he would get out of it!!
He’s a nice guy, and I understand this isn’t huge but it’s making me crazy. I recently had a terrible experience with a moving company and I’m looking for advice on how to resolve the issues. I signed a contract with COMPANY_COL to move my belongings and paid a ($4k) deposit. On the day of the move, COMPANY_PRO showed up to pack and load my belongings onto rental trucks from Budget and Penske. They asked for 1/2 of the remaining payment ($4k) and billed me under another company, COMPANY_MAY.
During the move, I had some questions and attempted to contact COMPANY_COL for clarification. However, they asked me to relay information to COMPANY_PRO and never directly communicated with them. When I arrived at my new location, COMPANY_PRO asked for the final payment (another $4k) and billed me through COMPANY_MAY.
Unfortunately, the packing, boxing, moving, and quality of the move were not up to par and resulted in lots of damage, hassle on my part, and stress in general. The level of service and quality of service delivered did not meet the contracted level that was agreed upon and outlined in the contract. Furthermore, the shifting of payment to other vendors without any contract has left me feeling unprotected.
I have since discovered that there have been complaints about late deliveries and subcontractors with COMPANY_COL. I am contesting the charges from both COMPANY_COL and COMPANY_MAY until these issues are resolved.
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this situation? Has anyone had a similar experience with this or another moving company? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just recently defeated the Phantom Ganon army in the castle and now when I fight the Gloom Hands they disappear and drop their clump without turning into a Phantom Ganon. From a storytelling perspective, I assume this means there are no more Phantom Ganons out there because we defeated them all in the castle? (Although Deku Tree Ganon still spawned after the castle battle, but my question isn't really about the lore).
Did any braver players out there defeat any of the Phantom Ganons before the castle fight? Do they function similarly to the blights from BotW wherein if you defeat them one-on-one then they don't show up in the castle battle? And am I inferring correctly that none of them show up with the Gloom Hands after they are defeated in the castle? Or am I experiencing some kind of glitch?

I ignored a few who were looking for a relationship, but then I found this average-looking 26F who was into me and didn't want a relationship either. We went out on a date, got drunk, and made out in a bar. Then she wanted to go to my place, but I told her the truth that I am in a living relationship. I explained everything about my situation, but surprisingly, she didn't have any problem with it. That day, we checked into a hotel.

The girl from Bumble then said this is what you get when you cheat on a guy I pushed my girl out of the room and closed the door after 5 minutes when bumble girl was leaving we came out I couldn’t see my gf at my place she took off somewhere after dropping the date I called my gf to check if she okay or not & called her to home we sat down I told her I know everything about your office affairs she denied that she is having an affair told me she was just talking to her nothing happened between them & she went out partying with few other people too from the office not just him she asked me about the girl where I met her what all happened between us I told her everything.
After that day, we didn't speak with each other often, but we continued living together under one roof. Despite everything, we both can't let go of each other. However, the Bumble girl I got involved with is now causing problems. She texts and calls me every day. I was ignoring her after the incident, but last Sunday, she showed up at my door. I opened the door, and she barged in. My girlfriend was also there, and the Bumble girl started making a scene, shouting at my girlfriend, asking why she was still here and if she wanted to see more. She was telling me to kick my girlfriend out. I managed to send her back, but before leaving, she threatened that if I didn't respond to her, she would show up again with all her stuff. I think she can actually do that.

I recently bought my first nice new car, a Red 2023 Sentra. I enjoyed it quite a bit compared to my 2001 Altima. It drove nice, everything was new.
A hail storm hit and insurance totaled the car the day after I got my permanent registration. Not even 2k miles.
I decided to shop around and mix it up looking for a replacement. Ended up going to a Mazda dealer and bought a 2023 Mazda3.
What the fuck. This is so much nicer for only a slight increase in price. It's quick, it looks great. So many little details inside that are solid and intentional.

Like, seriously: Calling a customer service number, I’m always relieved when I get to talk to someone in Capetown. If the person is Australian, they’re useless, rude, and unhelpful! 😤
Like I just called NRMA, with which according to my profile I’ve had all my insurances with for 35 years. All I was after was options and a rough cost estimate of insuring a 20 year old Holden.
First woman I spoke to based in AU refused to give me a quote. Neither did she want to elaborate and options. And while the hold-recording enthusiastically suggests NRMA has a range of options to ensure your pride and joy car … that Australian lady gave me nothing and ostensibly communicated: ”Not with NRMA, go somewhere else ….”
WTF?!?!? All my insurances with NRMA for 35 years, and she basically told me to bugger off before I could even tell her my membership number or camake/model/year! Without knowing ANYTHING she got narky and pretty much gave me a “fuck off and go away” 🤬🤬🤬
Rang the same number again and, hooooray!, wound up in Capetown! 🤩 The dude there first verified my identity, then enthusiastically thanked me for my long loyalty, talked me through options, asked teamleaders, did some research, emailed me a quote. Then he actually apologised he couldn’t answer all my questions about the fine print and exclusions, and suggested I should talk to someone about vintage insurance options. He profusely apologised for not knowing much about their vintage and collector’s options, then transferred me through.
The difference between those two call centre people could not have been bigger!
Aussies in customer service generally want me to bang my head into a wall. Rude, impatient, surly, ….

I am testing out HA right now. I told the audiologist to get me something mid end ( that would be the Oticon Real 2 I suppose) but I was given the budget version ( Real 3) and it would be the same price ( which I think is crazy; maybe they confused them)
It’s very static. Sound is high like half on helium, and background like a very old radio. So is the sound of music played from the phone
I want to jump right to Oticon Real 1 and screw the money. I said to begin with that I really hate the static unnatural sound of my 15 year old Oticons and the Real 3 is just a bit better. It’s packed with features but Oticon doesn’t seem to have focused on sound innovation
Does the Oticon 1 sound better? I want to hear music in my car and lyrics without static. I want to hear birds and what direction that sound is from too. I have severe hearing loss so I don’t only want a speech focus. I want to hear the sounds I haven’t heard in a decade naturally
I have severe tinnitus as well and I’m generally sensitive to sound. The Oticons need to be fit with a tinnitus software but I was told it just comes with it? Not to mention I got full shock when my phone rang . I thought it’s meant to protect you from sudden noises

Have a drug test coming up in about 2 weeks or so. Currently I am testing obviously negative at 50ng cutoff at home tests, but my 15ng tests show a faint line (says negative but I don’t trust it compared to a lab test).
I see lab tests do 50ng for pre employment cutoff, and then 20/15ng for confirmation. My question is, if I immediately test negative in their labs from the IA test with the 50ng cutoff, do they send my sample out for further confirmation that I’m negative at 15ng? Or do they only send off tests for the more sensitive GC/MS tests that are initially positive?

I am currently trying to put together a timeline with a friend, and got stuck in something I'm sure has been answered somewhere else, we just cannot find. I'm mostly talking about 3 minigames, SAVETHEM, Foxy Go! Go! Go!, and Give Gifts, Give Life. I know there is at least 10 dead kids, those found in SAVETHEM and Foxy Go! Go! Go!. I would assume those in SAVETHEM possess/are stuffed in the withered animatronics? But didn't those who possess/were hidden in the withered animatronics die at a birthday party, showed by the Happiest Day mini game in FNAF 3? Also, if Give Gifts, Give Life is the same kids in any of the other mini games, how? In the book "The Ultimate Guide" it says that Give Gifts, Give Life is in a different location than the Foxy and SAVETHEM. It is also under "Fan Theories", though. This is assuming Foxy game is in FNAF 1 location and SAVETHEM is in FNAF 2 location (no clue where Give Gifts, Give Life is though..) 5 Kids die at FNAF 2
5 kids die at FNAF 1... at the same time? There's 2 newspaper clippings that caught my attention: one that says 5 total kids have gone missing at the FNAF 1 location.. but then another one saying 2 kids went missing. (assuming the latter newspaper was before the first). I'm following the assumption that the news papers are talking about FNAF 1 location. Also, if 5 of the kids are stuffed in withered animatronics, what happens to the other 5 who aren't found either? Toys?

I blinked at the human. “What do you mean history? Its just a train? I mean, I miss being on them a ton and think it's kinda speh how they took them all away, but they were old.” I pointed out as I watched the steam train run into a tunnel.
“Well. One thing you learn when building models of historical things is that each country- uhm- that is groups on Earth, have different styles and things they want their trains to do. America used to prefer the most elegant, rugged, and mass-producible of all back in the day while Japan in the 20’th century valued speed, reliability, and as smooth a ride as possible. Each time period also had their own trains.” He pointed to one of the big ones. “This is a 20th century American train called the EMD SD70ACe.” He rattled off a bunch of letters and more that meant almost nothing to me. “It was made to be far more durable than most others while focusing far more on efficiency.”
He then motioned to the train finally coming out of the huge tunnel. “This is an American classic. The 4-4-0. It's based on the Roy O. Disney No. 4. Its not set up the same as its real counterpart, but after a… discussion.” He Glanced at Sally who shrugged. “It was decided we would make it a luxury liner to still be able to showcase it.”
I blinked and rubbed my head a bit. “Wait… is that a human name? Was it named after someone famous?” I asked, watching its beautiful red and green snake through the mountains. “Well. It is actually running at a park on Earth right now to take people around.” Jack explained as he watched it move about. “And in fact it's a great example! It was named after one of the founders of the American mega-corp disney. It was bought and made to look beautiful to transport people around a big park. Really though it was there to look beautiful and be a big tourist attraction. It was very outdated for the time, but that was the point.”
What? “Wait, if it was outdated then why use it?” I asked, finally looking up to my human partner. “Simple: People liked how it looked and it reminded them of a very important time in America when we were growing into the superpower we are today. For some people, like me, America would not have existed without the 4-4-0, so we honor it whenever we can. For others, many MANY cool stories happen on or around 4-4-0 trains, so they keep coming up in movies. And some pay a TON of money to ride on them through mountains and stuff. Sure the cars are mostly more modern for safety and comfort, but people want to experience what it was like to live in those old days so they pay to ride in the outdated cars.”
He then pulled up photos on his pad of an American tour company operating in the mountains. I snatched the tablet the moment I saw the first few photos and started looking at them one by one. It…. it was my trains! I could see that ornate red carpet, the sleeper cars, the tiny bathrooms, the small chair I sat on for HOURS reading whatever speh I could get my paws on. It was all there! The price was… high, but you could ride it NOW! And the humans were FTL level!
I handed his tablet back to him and watched the train chug along. “Then… why did we have to get rid of ours? I mean. I never thought of what I worked on being important. Sure it was one of the heights of our tech pre-uplift, but I never thought about it being important to history.”
“The fact it was the last thing you all made should make it even more important. I don’t know why the feds did it-” Jack’s strong hand patted my shoulder. “-but maybe we could do something?” He looked over to Sally.
“I know what you are going to propose, and I am ALLLL for it!” She said as she held a thumb up. “But we gotta ask Leon too. I mean, I love kitbashing and all but you and Leon are the ones that are best at it. I just get the interior sparky shit to work.” She laughed a little before the door opened up again.
“Hey everybo-” A human with shoulder length blond hair walked in with a female Dossur head poking up out of his lab coat. The moment the Dossur saw Sally she hopped out and skittered up to her. What I had to guess was leon froze seeing the tilfish who stared back. He took a deep breath and I covered my ears expecting another scream. It seems humans were sca-

I jumped and looked at the human with my fur standing up. One: That was a very happy yell. Two: That was a very happy word. I looked at the other two humans and they looked at each other for a moment before moving their heads side to side.
“Yesyesyes an insectoid species! I was worried that all the aliens would be soft, cute mammalians! Nothingwrongwiththat but this is farrrrr more cool inmyhonestopinion!” His words were coming out fast and blending together in the translator as he walked up to poor, poor Xelo. She was rubbing her antenna before Sally passed her back the coins with a sigh before getting in Leon’s way.
“Alright alright. I knew you liked freaky things but this is a bit of a surprise.” She said trying not to step on the Dossur. “Give the girl her space and let her warm up to you. You know the drill by now. Poor thing was shocked when Freddie squealed at it.” My human let out a deep breath of air and crossed his arms. It was clear he didn’t like being reminded of what he had done.
“FIIINE!” Leon said lifting up his arms. “I will talk to her later.” He then looked over at me, waved, then stepped back from poor Xelo who was looking between us all.
“Hey! Tall lady! I’m Fige! Fee-d-je~!” The dossier called out from her feet. “Mind picking me up? Bit small!” Sally nodded and picked her up, lifting her up to her chest height in one hand. While Sally was looking down at Fige, the dossur was looking right ahead. What was she-ohhhh. Really?
“Heya Fige! I am sally! I read your kind were small but didn’t expect THIS small!” She said with a laugh. “Man. I just want to put you in my po-”
“If you are offering your chest pocket PLEASE!” The small female called up to the huge human. “I mean, it-” She rubbed one of her ears then shook her head. “Ah brahk it. I wanna ride against that comfy looking chest. I have never SEEN mammaries that big before!” She squeaked out motioning to the human’s chest. “I have dated lotsa females from lotsa species, but good grief! My fear left the moment I saw those things!” I thought I was a bit open. What the speh!? We all looked to Sally who laughed long and hard. “Oi! Freddie! Seems like we BOTH lucked out!” She said before moving the dossier towards her coat pocket, only to put her right on top of the “pair!” The dossur squeaked in surprise before squeaking in pure joy. “Ohhh yeah! Humans are just fine in my book!” She called out while Sally was laughing hard.
“Oh damn, this feels…. Weird. Still. Not gunna pass up a chance to connect with an alien species lesbian! Hell I like my women short but this is a new level for me!” Both Freddie and Leon shook their heads side to side while looking down. “And she fussed at me!” I heard Leon mutter while poor Xelo just looked around practically tugging her antennae off in confusion at the chaos in front of her. “Wait. what is this?” Fige asked before hopping down onto the table. While Xelo let out a clatter in protest fearing the stuff was fragile. It held up though thankfully. She skittered about looking at the trains, poking at the wires that were carefully hidden, then tapping the tracks. “Fascinating! The trains must be powered through the tracks and controlled through it leaving enough room within for all this decoration! I didn’t expect predators like yourself to be able to work on such small and fragile electronics like this!” She then watched the cargo train roll by before hopping onto one of the flatbeds to ride around. The humans didn’t protest. At all. In fact they took out their datapads and took as many pictures as they could! Fige, to her credit, ate up the attention and even posed some as she laughed enjoying the ride. Lucky little squeaker. Still, after a while we all just sat together at a table they cleared off. Drinks and snacks scattered over what had been a workstation. “Alright. So now you all know what scale models are.” Freddie said with a smile. “And nobody had a… too big of a reaction to us so far! So far so good!” he laughed a bit as he sipped his soda. “Now. Wanna help us make more?”
