Hello, Is there a lawyer in VA that doesn’t cost 5,000 up front for my husband to hire to gain custody of his 3 children? Back story: We are just at a loss, we have plenty of evidence that the mother is not keeping her children safe, they have missed many days of school and have been tardy for over 40 school days. The daughter cuts herself on her days over there. She has been sexually abused by the mothers bf. We went to court, but the mother told her that she didn’t have to go to school if she dropped the charges of course the 11 year old is going to say ok! We have a restraining order against the bf, from wa and again in Va when we moved. But they have to go and see their mother. She tells them to lie to us that the bf isn’t there. And for awhile he was not there but has shown back up again. She has two other children by him. He smokes pot, has delusions, he was just in court for hitting the mother with a three day old baby in her hands. We don’t have the money for a lawyer up front, but at this point we need them to be with us full time. It’s all a joke to her, she thinks it’s funny. She is gettigg by benefits from Virginia, but lives in w. Virginia, she gets her rent paid we have no idea how. She has a job but is on extended maternity leave. She has worked there for a year, her first job but has been either on Covid sick leave or maternity leave. The bf barely works because he can’t keep his temper in check. Where do we go? What do we do? Is there any way for us to get a lawyer that doesn’t cost up front? We have texts, we have cps evidence, we have journals time stamped and dated about the fights, the money, kids not going to school, being on time. She will even take her younger daughter out of school to babysit her step siblings for the mom to go to apts. just help. Please. Thank you.

I'm replacing my water heater with a high efficiency heat pump water heater and doing the work myself. I know the water heater and labor expenses qualify for the tax credit, but what about other supplies and/or tools needed to make the upgrade?
Also, while upgrading the water heater I am considering installing PEX piping throughout the house. Can that be wrapped up into the qualifying expenses for the tax credit? The piping upgrade isn't required for the water heater upgrade, except for some piping from the existing copper pipe to the water heater and I should install a water pressure regulator at the entrance to my house.
The only possible reference I saw was in the FAQ, but it was in reference to the Residential Clean Energy Property Credit, not the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit. It states, "When calculating the Residential Clean Energy Property Credit, a taxpayer may include the labor costs properly allocable to the onsite preparation, assembly, or original installation of the qualified property and for piping or wiring to interconnect the qualifying property to the home."

I was going back to home from work a few hours ago and while I was walking in metro station in Istanbul I saw somone eith a jersey which looks familiar to me (I don't care about football in general, yet I love this show) when this person was coming towards me I saw bantr logo and richmond logo and I instantly had goosebumps. If I got aware with jersey a bit earlier I'd chant "we're richmond till we die" but that's a missed opportunity now.

this is my last hope for some help with a really frustrating situation
I lost my bag with around £2000 of belongings incl. laptop, camera lens in Gdansk in one of the rivecanals
I had to leave the next day and so did not have time to visit a police station but have since submit an Insurance claim that is being held up by not having a police report for the loss
I am just looking for advice, as I am now back in the UK how could I possibly request a lost property report from the Police in Gdansk for this? I have tried several emails and phone numbers but can't seem to reach anyone who can help advise

Looking to build a detached garage/ADU in the back corner of my property and started looking into property lines, setbacks, etc. We back up to a small stream that has just about zero flow to it but we still have a 35' offset from center Water Quality Buffer off of it and that runs all up and down the waterway which I expected to find. What I did not expect was something on the polaris GIS site that shows Post Construction Buffers. When I turn this layer on it starts about 200' up the road and then squiggles along between my house and the neighbors before joining up with the Water Quality Buffer. The PCB has an indication of 30' offset from center which pretty much widens it to encompass half of my house and half of my neighbors house. Luckily we where we want to build is outside of the PCB but I'm still curious.
I don't understand what a Post Construction Buffer is. Can anyone help explain it to me? Online research is in legalese. Can I take any action within these limits for building purposes?

So not too long ago, I planned to hang with someone I met thru (nstagram (which was a friend of one of my friends) and then he sends me an address which I thought was his home and so of course I head over there. Once I arrive to that address which I thought was his home, this big random guy that I saw a second ago while passing by starts speed walking to me once I was waiting outside of this home while I was in a call with the mutual from Instagram that I was suppose to meet which caught me off guard and I didn't know where the hell my instinct or reaction time went at that moment to quickly leave before anything happened. I had no idea who this clearly was but I assumed it was either a neighbor, a "big homie", or him setting me up, someone that mistook me for someone else (which has happened before) or some tweaker that was talking to this lady by the fence of the house next to the home I was waiting in front of. He was approaching to my direction quickly and aggressively trying to figure out what I was doing in his so-called property (which I highly doubt he lived there anyways because he was in someone else's property). I tried to let him know that I was there waiting for a friend that sent me the address (which I thought he stayed there because if he did, he would've opened the door already) while threatening to knock me out but I was carefully paying attention to his body language while maintaining eye contact as he keeps pulling his pants up thinking if he had a gun or not or him having the itch of wanting to swing at me but I kept a good distance away from him while both of us were pacing around like a game of waiting to see who makes the first move however, I did not start anything or cause any trouble, I was only there to meet up with someone, nothing else. I felt confusion then my mind turned blank at the moment but I was deciding whether I should've been the attacker or not in this situation since talking it out didn't work and I didn't want to cause trouble and get a charge for hitting him on the head with a skateboard or even attempt murder for doing that while losing control unless he tried to attack me first. Also this fat man was way bigger and taller than me as someone who is physically fit, not big but lean and ripped and have learned basic fighting skills but does not like altercations especially since I underestimated myself in that situation since I haven't even hit the gym for quite a while and he caught me in a vulnerable state where I was kinda physically and mentally exhausted thinking that a jab or a swing to his jaw wouldn't have had effect. Yes it was an aggressive approach but as this guy kept yelling about how what I did was disrespectful to him standing in front of "his" property, and that he's gotten calls about kids throwing rocks at that home (which was never me to begin with) and how I looked "suspect" and then starts bitching about me talking back when he kept asking what I was doing there. Then the dude I was trying to meet up with showed up from the parking lot of the apartment he stays in which is next to the home I was waiting in front of while dealing with some crazy guy. He was wondering what was happening so then he starts coming up to the guy and explains to him that he sent the wrong address to me due to him not being good with directions and that just he moved into the apartment he currently stays in. After this altercation and a good 20 minutes of these two idiots arguing with each other outside late at night, it cooled down and got to chill with the mutual from Instagram despite him being fucked up on drugs. Lately I've been looked back at this night and wondered what I could've or should've done.

What does a knowledge graph process look like? I feel like learning about a functional, purpose-built knowledge graph - where it comes from, the gist of how it was built, and how it is being maintained - would go a long way to provide clarity on what can be done with a knowledge graph.

Over the past two weeks, I worked through a collection tutorials and training videos (primarily Stardog) - learning the vocabulary, high-level uses, and interacting with knowledge graph libraries UI, learning the basics of Turtle and SPARQL language syntax going through examples and testing things. All great stuff. I feel comfortable with the main themes of knowledge graphs.
From what I gathered, there appears to be two ways to build a knowledge graph: (1) manually (e.g., creating the data, loading the data directly or via virtualization, defining classes and properties, imposing constraints, etc.) or (2) programmatically (e.g., creating data by scraping text with NLP models, converting extracted data for subject-predict-object syntax, creating object properties programmatically (I'm really not sure how people do this, GNNs?) and uploading it to a knowledge graph). How both of those processes in the real world seem opaque to me.

Hi, I hope this is a good place to ask for advice on this subject. I have a collie/blue heelelab mix. He's very hyper and enjoys having the run of the yard (but unfortunately also beyond that). I work shift work away from home so he's living with my parents. I need to find an option that doesn't keep him locked up in an outdoor kennel run (it's just not enough area to be fair to him). In addition he's an escape artist, opens gates, doors, can wiggle out of a choke collar (lays down and pushes it over his head with his paws). He's literally to smart for his own good.
Now from my research I've seen in-ground buried lines, wireless and gps versions. The buried line isn't the best option as the ground at my parents place is tough. For wireless the best distance I found was 3/4 acre circular perimeter. My parents property is just shy of 5 acres, but this may be an option with 2 bases. So I was looking at the Wiez gps collar system. But I'm unsure how well it works with treed area (which is the back half of the property). In addition, does anyone know if you have to pay a subscription to use the gps system? I didn't see anything online saying you did.
So any advice, opinions or suggested systems, I'd appreciate the help.
