Looking to get my mom an upgrade from her aged S9.
She uses her phone a lot throughout the day especially making calls. She is constantly on her phone typing documents, making appointments, talking on the phone to various people, Youtube, Tiktok, and general online browsing.
Just looking for a phone that is robust and well built, and basically gets her the most bang for her buck. I was primarily looking towards the A54 5G but just wondering if its worth spending any more for the other phones. She doesn't care much for high quality camera because any of these will be a huge upgrade over her current phone. Again, just something well built, good battery life, and will be the best phone out of the lot still 3-5 years down the line.

i have a therapist i like, i’ve been seeing her off and on for a couple years and i think we have a good patient/doctor relationship. i recently started seeing her again after almost a year of having no therapist and i absolutely hate it.
i feel like i’m not able to talk about anything past surface level issues and if i try i get too emotional to continue the conversation. i’m not too embarrassed about crying but i cry to the point i can no longer discuss the topic and i have to spend the rest of the session calming down.
im definitely not doing great but i’m also in a decently productive stage in my life (have a job, starting college in the fall, etc) so i have zero motivation to continue going to sessions that seem counterproductive and more of a time waster. at this point i only go because my mom wants me to (i just graduated highschool and i’ll be living at home for the foreseeable future). i love my mom and we have a good relationship but i know it’d start a fight if i refused to go or cancelled my appointments.
if anyone has any tips for actually making progress in therapy i’d appreciate it. im really stuck.

Hi! I'm 4 weeks pregnant and a few days ago, a patch of eczema appeared on my face. I usually use a cortisone cream "betamethasone 0.5" for 2 to 3 days and it's enough to make it disappear. I did not put anything this time because I don't know if it's safe. I've read on the internet that it's safe if it's a cream, but I don't trust internet and I wanted to wait for my first appointment with my OBGYN, but there is still 6 days to wait and it's itching a lot.

I 20 F am a young person about to move out and go to college. In January I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, which at first I totally denied. I had an appointment with a sleep doctor basically telling me I need a cpap. I told them about my severe sensory processing disorder. (Which affects my senses, and sends me into overloads which involves me panicking, crying and even screaming). And they basically ignored that and told me to use a cpap.
When my cpap arrives I try it on and immediately go into a sensory overload. I don’t like anything touching my face. I’ve never felt anything so bad.
Unfortunately I have a follow up later today. I’d like to tell the doctor cpap isn’t working and that I’m not interested in another appointment since I’m busy with my life. I’m not the best at advocating for myself but I feel like this doctor is going to try and manipulate me into making another appointment which I don’t have the time or money for. The copays are waaay to pricey for me.
How do I politely tell the doctor “i don’t care” and “I don’t want to do another appointment”?

Howdy everyone, my previous post was about how 25mg of Strattera was ruining me and then I made a mini update when I took the 40mg capsule on the day I had to start taking 40’s. I was EXTREMELY LUCKY because on that same day I had an appointment with my therapist. Not only did I get to show/tell her everything I’m experiencing mentally and physically durring this whole time, she had a “student” with her. The “student” already has majors with meds so I got to talk to her about everything. That was literally the whole appointment. When the appointment was over I stood up too fast from the chair and fell back into the chair so quickly I started myself. I could only stare into space even though I could understand everything and mostly talk, that’s how dizzy/lightheaded I was from the 40mg. Once we got back into the waiting room my therapist told my mom that if I get any worse I should go to the ER and I should stop taking the medicine since it’s only active for around 24 hours. I feel so much better without Strattera, granted, I’m still having problems with sitting up too fast or turning my head too fast making me dizzy/lightheaded but I think that’s getting worse because of my nonexistent eating but I’m working on that. Kinda. Sorta. For the most part. Anyways, thankyou so much to everyone who replied to my post and gave me great advice! Now Ima make sure that if I’m really feeling keyboard smash because of new meds, I need so say something about it and not wait because that was horrible. I am not about to go through that again.

I’m a 31 year old recently diagnosed with autism, adhd, and cptsd. I started meds in January but my psych and I have been adjusting since. A few weeks ago we made an adjustment and today I realized that was just a couple days before I became extremely easily irritated. Last week I yelled at someone in a grocery store parking lot because they double parked in a spot I’d been waiting behind them for. I also can’t let shit go, there’s a stranger being a dick to me in a housewives thread, which should just be funny to me but I keep hyper focusing on it.
I’m seeing a new psychiatrist in 2 weeks and hoping to make a more positive adjustment, but until them I am mad at the whole damn world and want to yell at random pedestrians. That’s it. Absolutely love this gun and it makes playing stasis (at least while unlocking aspects and fragments still) bearable. It is amazing for the vanguard memory fragment quests. It used to take me forever to complete those and now I can complete them in like 2 strikes. If you’re thinking about getting this gun just do it it’s really that good.

I want to say that im having a great time with the game, but some of this needs addressed.
I hope this isnt how the renown system works. When u play your first character and do a lot of the renown it does not carry over. I do understand the account things that do, skill points, potions, codex, etc. But when u want to advance another character, it punishes you for doing so. Let me explain why i think this way.
When i left my druid, i had fun with him and got the 4th level in most zones on him, level 74. I wanted to try other classes, and this is where it punishes you. The play cycle ive been doing is, helltides when they are up, Nightmare dungeons, and side progression for renown with Tree of whispers or side quests if they are attatched. Now that im on another character, doing helltides, nightmare and the rest I cant do on my new character. I have close to zero renown, no waypoints, no completion on it all. So if i want to advance my account i have to go to my first character. Which, at this point, i want to play my new character.
Also, the big elephant in the room to go along with this is storage space. How can the devs to expect a person to play 5 classes, and store all these aspects, legs, and rares? You cant, and i know its been mentioned.

Make the renown system account bound, so any character can advance it further. I know this causes some design issues with how they wanted to address alts, but its not done well. The stash tab is also a huge issue. Ideally u would want a stash tab for each character, and if they wanted a shared stash tab or a shared stash tab just for gems.
Dont have an ideal solution for either, but they are major problems for both IMO,

And it was amazing! I hadn't been in about 4 years due to a variety of factors, and moved last year so I needed to find a new dentist. I chose this one based solely off some google reviews and their website, as well as easy to get to.
He didn't shame me at all for not seeing a dentist for so long! I don't understand why most dentists think shaming their patients is a good thing? It just means that you put off going back to not be shamed.
I thought for sure I'd need quite a bit of work done, but the problem areas that I went in for had nothing wrong with them at all. It was likely just sensitivity from plaque/tartar build up and after the cleaning, it's completely better. I did have two cavities which I got fixed this week.

Im trying to predict what's gonna happen with everyone at Castle Black in TWOW. I have ideas, but one problem keeps coming up; we dont know how the brothers of the Night's Watch will respond to Jons murder.
I believe Jons murder will cause a lot of division in Castle Black; between the NW vs the Wildlings, the NW vs Mel & Selyse... but it will also cause division WITHIN the NW. Some seem to support Jon, others appear not to. For the majority of the NW, theres no indication one way or another. But I wanna know who's on which side, so heres what I've come up with so far:

This list only includes NW brothers who are still alive by the end of ADWD. It's hard to say who supports Jon and who doesn't with certainty. So let me give a brief explanation for each of these guys and why I think they will be either pro- or anti-Jon:
PRO-JON FACTION
- Ghost - Obviously he's on Jon's side. He arguably IS Jon. And yes.. Ghost is a brother of the NW
- Samwell Tarly - No explanation needed. But Sam is far away, in Oldtown, so he's irrelevant to Castle Black in the TWOW opening
- Edd Tollett - No explanation needed. But Edd has been sent to Long Barrow along with Iron Emmett, so he isn't at Castle Black either.
- Hareth (Horse) - Horse is guarding Jon after the Shieldhall speech, right as the assassination is about to take place. If Jon trusts him enough to guard his life, this probably indicates Horse will stay loyal to Jon:
Horse and Rory fell in beside Jon as he left the Shieldhall. I should talk with Melisandre after I see the queen, he thought. If she could see a raven in a storm, she can find Ramsay Snow for me. Then he heard the shouting … and a roar so loud it seemed to shake the Wall. "That come from Hardin's Tower, m'lord," Horse reported. He might have said more, but the scream cut him off. - Rory - The same goes for Rory, he was with Horse guarding Jon as the assassination took place. I wouldn't be surprised if we learn in TWOW that Horse or Rory were killed in the assassination attempt. But if they survive they'll probably be Team Jon
Val, was Jon's first thought. But that was no woman's scream. That is a man in mortal agony. He broke into a run. Horse and Rory raced after him. "Is it wights?" asked Rory. Jon wondered. Could his corpses have escaped their chains? (Jon XIII, ADWD)

Also it's clear the anti-Jon faction hates Satin. Satin probably has the most evidence of anyone to show he'll support Jon. Satin's whereabouts at the time of the assassination are not known

- Iron Emmett - He is picked to be the master-at-arms for Castle Black. He spars with Jon. He is selected for the mission to the weirwood in ADWD. There isnt solid proof he would support Jon, but he seems to be a prime candidate as an ally. He was sent to Long Barrow with Edd Tollett, so he isnt at Castle Black
- Leathers - Leathers almost certainly supports Jon. Leathers is a Wildling who became a brother of the NW. Jon makes him the master-at-arms after Emmett. The anti-Jon faction does not approve of Leathers appointment
"Is it true that you mean to replace Emmett with this savage Leathers as our master-at-arms? That is an office most oft reserved for knights, or rangers at the least." "Leathers is savage," Jon agreed mildly. "I can attest to that. I've tried him in the practice yard. He's as dangerous with a stone axe as most knights are with castle-forged steel. I grant you, he is not as patient as I'd like, and some of the boys are terrified of him … but that's not all for the bad. - Arron & Emrick - Two brothers from Fair Isle who are recruited by Jon. They both swear their oaths before the Weirwoods, even though they were born following the Faith of the Seven. There is little information about them, but what little we have seems to suggest they may be pro-Jon
- Pyp, Grenn & Toad - These guys are Jon's friends who he sends away to the Shadow Tower. They are certainly pro-Jon, but they aren't nearby enough to matter

He likely blames Jon for the death of Garth. He is one NW brother I feel certain hates Jon

This is the only potential hint I could find that might suggest Mully & Fulk are on either side

I'm an American in Italy and just had my teeth cleaned yesterday. The dentist and hygienist cleaned my teeth and took x rays including a 360 scan. They said I have no cavities or other problems looking at the x rays, but she prescribed Chlorhexidine .012 (to be used 3x daily for 7 days) to help with bleeding gums as they bled during cleaning.

It seems like this can stain teeth, kill good bacteria, and is generally misused since it sucks to use. The instructions also seem unclear. I also read that if I have periodontal disease that it can't help with that
I'm also confused about this. They didn't measure the pockets between my gums. I usually have this done in the US and receive 3mm scores, but they don't do it here as far as I have read (and asked).
I had scaling done 10 years ago because I had some pockets (4-5mm) but I have always had good x rays and not once was I ever told I have gingivitis, gum disease, or periodontal disease. No dentist or hygienist has ever said this to me in the U.S. I understand that pocket depth may indicate gum disease, but again, I have always received dental care 2x per year with gum measurements and x-rays included, and only had scaling done once to correct that pocket depth a decade ago. I was 25 years old then.
I have written my dentist at home and am waiting for a response as to whether or not to move forward with this mouthwash. Am I making too much of a big deal of this? Just do the course for a week as instructed?
What alternatives, if any, would you suggest to treat mild gum inflammation post cleaning?
I tried to ask as much as I could about my appointment and the suggested treatment, but there was a language barrier that ultimately helped add to the confusion.

I'm an American in Italy and just had my teeth cleaned yesterday. The dentist and hygienist cleaned my teeth and took x rays including a 360 scan. They said I have no cavities or other problems looking at the x rays, but she prescribed Chlorhexidine .012 (to be used 3x daily for 7 days) to help with bleeding gums as they bled during cleaning.

It seems like this can stain teeth, kill good bacteria, and is generally misused since it sucks to use. The instructions also seem unclear. I also read that if I have periodontal disease that it can't help with that

Hi! I just finished ARR and absolutely loved the ending! Just epic in so many ways and excited to continue forward in the world.
One thing I've noticed with the Post-ARR content is there is a lot that seems to be now available as side content in addition to the MSQ. Some of it I know I have to do (Crystal Tower) some of it I should do (Coils and Hildibrand) but is there a good overview of all of the important stuff that I should do but is seemingly optional before proceeding forward and eventually into HW? Now I'm not particularly interested in say every random little side quest but any content that is good and story related that I should make sure to hit or featured to unlock. Thanks!

This is my first post so I have no idea if I'm going about this right so please bare with me but here it goes.
Some background I 21F have been engaged to my fiancé 20M (Lets call him (S) for a little over a year now, we have a 5 month old son together I don't know if this matters or not but S proposed then we found out I was pregnant. Looking back on it, it was not the right time to get engaged, we were living together with some friends shortly after we both became homeless (Long story may make a post about it later) we had been together for a year before this, we plan on a long engagement. a month or so after finding out I was pregnant S's mom offered to move us in with her (D), D's boyfriend (DB) and her 3 other sons (18(G),15(Z),13(J) 9 hours away from where we were and pay our whole way there.
Our friends lease was almost up and we couldn't stay any longer so we said yes. Some important information before we agreed D said that there would be a car so we could get jobs, and to doctors appointments, no rent, no bills, and that I wasn't expected to clean after her other children. Well we get on a bus and make our way here and to our surprise, there's no car, so no way to get jobs or get to appointments.
We talk to her about this she says she has a friend (C) willing to help with rides to the doctor until she gets her car fixed (keep in mind it still isn't fixed and we've been here 10 months) and that since we didn't have to pay rent then no jobs should be fine until we get the car. After 2 times of this friend taking us to the doctors she starts asking for gas money, we tell her she has to take that up with her friend because we have no way of making money, the next day his mother starts shouting at us about gas money, we were super confused so we just went with it and found a way to make some money to pay for gas.
There were no more problems until 2 months later, DB gets arrested, he was in a car with some friends (Not C) with no tags and drugs in the car that were out in the open and everyone in the car was clearly intoxicated. It wasn't a big deal to anyone or a shock, he was physically abusive towards D and mentally towards her son's but left me and S alone. We all talked and decided it was best if DB didn't come back to the house when released, or even back on the property, DB came by a few times to get his things and try to talk to D since then with little to no luck.
A few WEEKS after DB and D broke up D starts talking to this dude (K) he's divorced, with two kids (that he has split custody of) 15F (B) and 17M (A). They have been together for about 8 months and has recently moved K and A into the house, we have had to move everyone around build walls and even get a storage building just to fit everyone onto the property. This is were my problem is, there is still no car, so no jobs.
They have been really busy moving all of K's things into the house that S forgot my 21st birthday and our plans cancelled last second, we were making up for the ruined plans this weekend but they just got cancelled to. Tonight D was supposed to take me to the store so I could get baby food (He has formula but he's a little under weight)
At first I was online and gonna place an order for it to be picked up tomorrow, and I was gonna ask C (Who said she'd drop anything and everything to help me with my baby) if she'd take me but when I say something to D about it she says she'll take me tonight instead. I make dinner, everyone eats, I think we're gonna go and then D comes out of her room yelling and screaming that she needs her house cleaned and that everyone needed to help. At that point I give up even the idea of going because I knew we weren't.
S, Z and I have turned into the house maids since D has thrown all the responsibilities of a father (of his brothers) on to S because D doesn't want to parent them. Because of this I feel like me and my son will always come second and that is what S has shown me, I've talked to him about this and he apologized and told me it'll more than likely be like this until we get our own place. I have talked to S about the problems I have with his mom and all he says it's just they way she is.
We have recently been offered an opportunity to get back to where I'm from, we'd be moving in with friends into a rental house, we'd have a car, we'd also be able to take a bus if needed. Child care close by also my family willing to watch him for free. Seems great right? Well S doesn't want to burn the bridge with D since they just rebuilt it from the first time, if he leaves all his reasonability's get thrown onto Z the 15m not G the 18m I don't want him to either but I see what being here does to him. I don't want to take my son away from his loving uncles. I've told him of the offer and he wants to but the thought of leaving his brothers alone with his mother again scares him.
This matter is putting a strain on our relationship and I don't know where to go from here. Do I give him an ultimatum? Do I just leave? I want to tell him I'm leaving with or without him, he can come with, or he can follow me later but the choice is his. I really would like some advise on what to do.
