This is my first post so I have no idea if I'm going about this right so please bare with me but here it goes.
Some background I 21F have been engaged to my fiancé 20M (Lets call him (S) for a little over a year now, we have a 5 month old son together I don't know if this matters or not but S proposed then we found out I was pregnant. Looking back on it, it was not the right time to get engaged, we were living together with some friends shortly after we both became homeless (Long story may make a post about it later) we had been together for a year before this, we plan on a long engagement. a month or so after finding out I was pregnant S's mom offered to move us in with her (D), D's boyfriend (DB) and her 3 other sons (18(G),15(Z),13(J) 9 hours away from where we were and pay our whole way there.

Our friends lease was almost up and we couldn't stay any longer so we said yes. Some important information before we agreed D said that there would be a car so we could get jobs, and to doctors appointments, no rent, no bills, and that I wasn't expected to clean after her other children. Well we get on a bus and make our way here and to our surprise, there's no car, so no way to get jobs or get to appointments.

We talk to her about this she says she has a friend (C) willing to help with rides to the doctor until she gets her car fixed (keep in mind it still isn't fixed and we've been here 10 months) and that since we didn't have to pay rent then no jobs should be fine until we get the car. After 2 times of this friend taking us to the doctors she starts asking for gas money, we tell her she has to take that up with her friend because we have no way of making money, the next day his mother starts shouting at us about gas money, we were super confused so we just went with it and found a way to make some money to pay for gas.

There were no more problems until 2 months later, DB gets arrested, he was in a car with some friends (Not C) with no tags and drugs in the car that were out in the open and everyone in the car was clearly intoxicated. It wasn't a big deal to anyone or a shock, he was physically abusive towards D and mentally towards her son's but left me and S alone. We all talked and decided it was best if DB didn't come back to the house when released, or even back on the property, DB came by a few times to get his things and try to talk to D since then with little to no luck.
A few WEEKS after DB and D broke up D starts talking to this dude (K) he's divorced, with two kids (that he has split custody of) 15F (B) and 17M (A). They have been together for about 8 months and has recently moved K and A into the house, we have had to move everyone around build walls and even get a storage building just to fit everyone onto the property. This is were my problem is, there is still no car, so no jobs.
They have been really busy moving all of K's things into the house that S forgot my 21st birthday and our plans cancelled last second, we were making up for the ruined plans this weekend but they just got cancelled to. Tonight D was supposed to take me to the store so I could get baby food (He has formula but he's a little under weight)
At first I was online and gonna place an order for it to be picked up tomorrow, and I was gonna ask C (Who said she'd drop anything and everything to help me with my baby) if she'd take me but when I say something to D about it she says she'll take me tonight instead. I make dinner, everyone eats, I think we're gonna go and then D comes out of her room yelling and screaming that she needs her house cleaned and that everyone needed to help. At that point I give up even the idea of going because I knew we weren't.
S, Z and I have turned into the house maids since D has thrown all the responsibilities of a father (of his brothers) on to S because D doesn't want to parent them. Because of this I feel like me and my son will always come second and that is what S has shown me, I've talked to him about this and he apologized and told me it'll more than likely be like this until we get our own place. I have talked to S about the problems I have with his mom and all he says it's just they way she is.
We have recently been offered an opportunity to get back to where I'm from, we'd be moving in with friends into a rental house, we'd have a car, we'd also be able to take a bus if needed. Child care close by also my family willing to watch him for free. Seems great right? Well S doesn't want to burn the bridge with D since they just rebuilt it from the first time, if he leaves all his reasonability's get thrown onto Z the 15m not G the 18m I don't want him to either but I see what being here does to him. I don't want to take my son away from his loving uncles. I've told him of the offer and he wants to but the thought of leaving his brothers alone with his mother again scares him.
This matter is putting a strain on our relationship and I don't know where to go from here. Do I give him an ultimatum? Do I just leave? I want to tell him I'm leaving with or without him, he can come with, or he can follow me later but the choice is his. I really would like some advise on what to do.

Hi all 28f, I have a childhood friend I recently re-connected with in the past couple of months. I have known them since 2003. I feel a sense of nostalgia talking to this person, but I do find myself irritated at times talking to them for some reason. Anyway, recently, they shared with me her friends in her life treat her poorly. She says she gives, gives, and gives... but the people in the friendships turn on heor turn out to be selfish. I offered my insight, stating she should put herself first and told her what I thought about the situation. I also suggested, she speak with a therapist. My childhood friend said she wanted to speak with a therapist. But she said she is scared because she doesn't know if any therapist will be a good match. So because I see a therapist and a good one. I recommended she speak with mine, as they are easy to talk to and provide honest feedback. I told her if she doesn't want to speak with the therapist I see long term. The therapist will at least suggest a good therapist she knows that would fit her needs. So I sent her information, we also tried scheduling a zoom so I can help her find a therapist. But I don't understand why she doesn't set time aside to find one. Anyway, time goes by and my friend tells me she is upset about another friend about the same issue, someone who sucks used her, hurt her, etc. I told her the friend is no good, she should put herself first and stop giving these people the time of day, that she needs to learn how to prioritize herself. And that she should drop this person. I then find out my friend never contacted my therapist. She tells me she doesn't want to give up on the friendship, even though there are numerous signs these people are no good. Despite numerous red flags in each of these relationships. My childhood friend makes almost 100 a year, so there is zero excuses why she couldn't of tried a consultation with my therapist, plus works from home, as she lives a very comfortable life. I pay 100 an hour and talk to my therapist when I can afford to do so. And I make less than my friend. So I found it to be a bit of a turn off, I remember relying on others for help. And I have no issue being there for my friends. And everyone needs a friend to listen to. But its not even about her having issues with trusting the wrong people. It made me remember my past and I have grown. I felt turned off listening to her issues when I suggested her speak with a professional because I cant help assist with healthy boundaries, she needs to have a professional help her do that. I felt guilty feeling this way because I want to be helpful. I have experienced many of the same issues she has. I already have a best friend whom I trust to share similar things with and shares similar things with me, but I never feel frustrated talking to my best-friend. But for some reason listening to my childhood friend, something turned me off and I do not know why.

Drinking way too much ever since I turned 21. I’m 37. How the fuck have I been drinking this much this long? Half the time I was young and dumb the other half I’ve been knowingly sick and trying and failing to quit. I’m sick. My body aches when I lay in bed trying to get the first 24 hours free. I sweat I shake I work I ache I drink. I’m done.
I came completely clean to my wife and family tonight. They already knew but they didn’t know the extent. I keep it together mostly. Wife sees me drink every night off but I still appear myself and show up for work and kids. I’m a good husband and father but feel like I’m dying inside. It looks like I’m dying outside now too.
I want to be done hating myself.

I’m 17F and going to become a certified EMT. I’m approximately 5’7 and 152lbs.
I’ve never been athletic and haven’t done any sports in school. But I’m going to become an EMT soon so I want to get stronger for that and hopefully lose a little weight along the way.
I’m planning on taking advantage of the free planet fitness membership for teens and going this summer. The only issue is I have no idea where to start. I suppose my end goal is being able to push/lift/move heavier objects, including people, and lose some weight while I’m at it, and maybe even get some abs lol. Not a whole six pack but some definition would be nice.
So where do I begin? Is there a specific diet I have to follow? I’m already on Keto due to a condition I have (insulin resistance). I only count my carbohydrates and aim for below 100g a day.

I took a break from PA to finish up CPA (took three months off) while waiting to start at another firm.
In the meantime I saw an industry role at a f500 that I would love and thought I’d be a good fit for. Plus no more busy seasons and fully remote.
I scored an interview and didn’t get it. I’ve never been rejected from a job that I interviewed for. But now the thought of dealing with busy season is pissing me off when I thought I was going to be free.
Someone please tell me that when I get my certification that some industry job with no billable hours is going to snatch me up. I don’t want to be in PA for more than another year or two.

We have a 2015 kia soul 2.0 ( Yeah I know these motors are junk ) anyways we have engine seizure at the camshafts.
Here's a history of the car. *bought car *wrecked car *rebuilt car front end then noticed the timing cover was broke where the motor mounts to frame. * bought new timing cover from ebay, said it fit my vehicle. Indeed it did fit. Took old oil pump and bolted it onto new timing cover. It also fit *installed timing cover and car fires right up, ran with a noticeable clacking noise. *found out there was no oil pressure to any engine components. *ran it again the next day for good measure, motor seized up 10 minutes into idle. *problem? Wrong timing cover. * after removing oil pump from new timing cover we notice the oil channels did not match *buys new timing cover with matching oil channels, installs oil pump and timing cover. *try to start, no start. Engine still seized. *broke loose a few boots on head cap holding the duel over head cams * engine frees up, unstuck. *Engine runs for 6 hours and seizes up again at the camshafts
Won't crank. Seizure in camshaft was due to no oil. It used to run so I imagine the no oil caused a sort of CHAFING in the housing where the cam meets the head. Can this be polished out? What kind of results should I look for? Could the head be warped? Seems to be a minor sticking since it ran for 6 hours then re stuck. I imagine it will be worse the more it sticks. There's a machine shop that offered to re hone my head and polish the cams. Can this be done DIY? ANY TIPS OR ADVICE??

Bio:
Torrhen Hornwood was born the last of four children to Lord Jorah Hornwood and Lady Alys Glover. His elder siblings in order of birth are Beron Hornwood, Alaric Hornwood, and Alarra Hornwood. As the third-born son and the youngest in the family, it was generally expected that he would not inherit into any lands or holdings. In most other families, it would have been likely that Torrhen would have received a lord’s education from a Maester before going off to find his own destiny and life. However, Lord Jorah Hornwood was a man who was a meticulous planner, and assigned every child’s destiny to them shortly after birth. He had dreams of making House Hornwood a house of great repute and renown, and wished each child of his to form a part of a greater whole. Therefore, Beron Hornwood, as the eldest, was specifically trained to be the lord’s heir, to be a master of diplomacy and intrigue, to charm and to impress. Alaric, the lord’s spare, was educated in numbers and administration, so that he would serve as his brother’s steward and principle advisor. Alarra was raised to be the perfect lady, so that she might help to forge a marriage alliance with another noble house. Finally, Torrhen was raised to be a soldier, so that he might server as the master-at-arms and lead his brother’s armies. Although his father had his plans, he could be cruel in crushing his children’s other interests and hobbies.
As such, when it came to skill at arms, although all the sons received some training, it was Torrhen who was deemed the primary focus of the master-at-arms instruction, and worked in a brutal regime, drilling for hours each day every day. He was additionally brought up learning military strategy and tactics, and studying ancient battles from before and after the Conquest. He did learn what would be considered an acceptable education for a noble in numbers and letters from the Maester, but beyond that his father demanded that Torrhen focus on martial skills. This decision did not disappoint Torrhen, as he largely did not really care about nor have any particular talent or gift for numbers and administration.
He was not particularly close with any of his brothers or sister, in part due to an 6 year age gap between the younger two siblings and himself, and also due to a difference in upbringing, as the other three siblings were educated together largely under the care of the Maester, whereas Torrhen was largely educated out in the field. The only member of his family with whom he was close to was his mother, who secretly taught Torrhen how to garden, as such a hobby was considered by Lord Jorah Hornwood to be beneath Torrhen. On his 14th name day, Torrhen was given a fine crafted bastard sword as a gift and has subsequently used that blade in every battle and fight he has been in.
In 195 AC, when Torrhen came of age, Lord Jorah Hornwood announced that Torrhen would depart for Essos at once, where he would take up residency and arms among the Ragged Standard, so that he would further hone his martial skills in genuine live combat. All the necessary arrangements had been made, and Torrhen departed that evening. Whilst overseas fighting in the Disputed Lands, he became familiar with foreign cultures and developed an interest in them. During this time, he became acquainted with various board and card games that were frequently played among sellswords, and was halfway decent at them. He additionally began to learn the basic tenets of cooking, after he grew tired of eating the same gruel that the Ragged Standard called food. This skill came particularly useful during a difficult campaign in the Disputed Lands, where the sellswords of the Ragged Standard were forced to consume rats and insects to survive. However, life was not all perfect in the Hornwood. In 198 AC, Beron Hornwood disappeared without a trace one evening. Servants had opened his chamber door to find the bed neatly made and empty, with no evidence of any struggle. None of the guards had seen him depart and to this day his disappearance remains a mystery. When Lord Jorah sought to recall his second son, Alaric, home from the Free Cities where he was being educated more deeply in numbers, the ship that was carrying Alaric was destroyed in a storm and sank without even seeing White Harbor. In the face of many of his sons dying and his lifelong established plans being torn asunder, Lord Jorah died in a fit of rage.
The news of Lord Jorah and his two elder brother’s deaths only reached Torrhen in 200 AC, when he had returned to Lys after a final campaign in the Disputed Lands. Upon finding out the news, he chartered a ship to White Harbor, where he expects to assume his duties as the Lord of the Hornwood.
